My mom and I have had our rounds with nail salons but this one is a staple. We keep coming back to the friendliness and cleanliness. The staff is always so sweet and always exceeds our expectations. Although it is very out of the way for us, we continue to make the drive because they always leave us with nothing less than perfection. Our nails last a long time with no chipping or lifting. Thank you sky nails. See you soon V! 💕

Shout-out to Kelly for giving me the best set of nails I've ever had! Came in with 3 friends for an appointment and everyone left with great manis. Mine was by far the most complex and for a very special occasion, and Kelly did an expert job making sure each nails' length, shape, and thickness was perfect, despite sitting me down just an hour before closing. Easily the most compliments I've ever received on my nails! 3 weeks later and they're still going strong (though desperately need a fill). Will definitely be back!!

This will be my new nail spot!! I have been to quite a few nail salons in Salt Lake but Sky Nails was such great service and fairly priced! I called ahead and they were able to make me an appointment within 10 mins. I showed the tech a reference picture and she replicated it perfectly!! She took her time and I didn’t feel rushed at all like I normally feel at other salons. I will definitely be returning here :)

So disappointing. I was a loyal customer here for nearly two years, always loved the staff and service. However, recently, the owner's customer service has gone downhill. The last two times I've gone in, the owner has been extremely condescending and rude, which is a complete 180 from how he used to be (kind and professional). Recently, the owner was so rude when I showed up for my appointment (which I made over the phone with him), that I turned around and walked out. This family-run business is not going to survive if the owner continues to treat clients with such disrespect. He just lost a long-time customer. Huge bummer.

Right before I was proposed to I went to Sky and got my nails done and I am thrilled that I did it. They turned out great and so did the pictures of my new engagement ring on them! Sky is AMAZING at time management if you have an appointment. They won’t make you sit there forever and If you have a tight timeframe they will do whatever they can to get you out to make your other appointments. I like getting dip nails by the male who works there.

This was my first time at Sky Nails. I am so happy with my experience. I was a walk in, I got a pedi with shellac and an acrylic fill with shellac and nail art. I came in with a Pinterest picture (of course) and Kate did an amazing job! I’m not the best with pictures but I wanted this poison apple nail art so bad! Every one took their time and I didn’t feel rushed. That said, I went on Thursday at like noon so I can’t speak for their busier times. I definitely recommend this nail salon!

They got us in past minutes so that was great. Really friendly and great selection on different tips. The one thing is I have had nails done for a while and they have never hurt like they did this time. He burnt me with electric nail file a few times to where 2 of my nails still hurt. They charged me for gel nail Polish but I got regular nail Polish to where it is already chipping and they did not do a great job at that. They did however stay past closing to finish my nails.

They always do a quality pedicure and my feet feel amazing every time. My nails grow to the side and they fix it without hurting me. Honestly it is very difficult to find nail techs that can do that well in Utah. Highly recommend!

Made an appt for gel. They were quick and the quality was good. I wasn't really considering acrylic nails and was pressured by the salon artist multiple times to get them; I just wanted gel. The salon artist shook her head and looked annoyed with me during my visit. I had short nails due to a nail biting problem which is probably why she was frustrated but the last thing I want is for someone I am paying to make me feel uncomfortable about it.

The only place I trust with my nails! They do an amazing job. Very clean. Very nice. I always get the deluxe pedicure and the dip manicure. Lance and Anna usually do my nails and both are fantastic! The dip nails last me about 3-4 weeks. Highly recommend this place!

I love this place! I have been coming her for over 13 years and love their nu-skin pedicure. I also bring my daughter and she loves it too! I have tried most the places around it and I always come back. If you ever get an ingrown toenail they are to place to come! I can’t say enough good things about this place!!! Also got brand new chairs that are amazing! They won’t disappoint!! 😀

Sky Nails is amazing! My mom would always take me here to get our nails done when I was a kid and I still go because they are just so good and I have yet to find a better nail salon. I live in Draper now but will still take the drive to Salt Lake instead of going to nail salons in my area because it is worth it. Their acrylics/dip powder nails are quality and last a long time. I have tried going to other salons and I never get what I wanted and the nails will come loose after a few days. They really take the time to do a good job and there have been a couple instances where they continued to perfect my nails even after they closed. Kate is amazing, she’s always super gentle and isn’t rough, she does a really good job smoothing and perfecting the shape that you want. Go to Sky Nails you won’t regret it!!

They were able to get us right in, we did wait a bit as 1 nail tech was working on 3 of us, but they only had 3 people working since it was a Tuesday. My sister in-law and I had the dip nails done and Kate did a fabulous job. She basically did our nails at the same time, right after doing our nails she got right to work on my step daughter's full set. Will definitely be going back!

What an amazing place. Husband and wife owned. Such high quality and specialized attention. Ultra clean and smells like flowers. I was so surprised to be offered lash extension service at the same time I got a manicure! I loved both it was almost like being in the makeup room for a movie! Park City needs to send their guests here!!

I feel like they want to rush me out. I have limited time and I pay a lot for my nails with tip. They do an OK job, but there is always been something wrong last couple of times. I am out of town for work so they haven't been notified right away or had the opportunity to fix them. One issue the nail bed after fill wasn't filed down so when my nail grew, it was rough and caught on everything. This last time, one of my gel designs wasn't sealed properly and is scraping off.

I live in Ogden and come to Sky Nails in SLC for the gel powder 'dip nail' manicure. This is the best type of overlay manicure I have ever had and as a hairstylist I do some damage to my nails. Without fail my nails look good for almost three weeks when I need another fill. I always see Lance or Kate and they do a great job to try to accommodate me. It is helpful to call and make an appointment if you're on a time crunch though. Got a pedicure for the first time here today by Janey and she did a good job on that too. I feel like the prices are great and everyone is friendly. I will keep coming back for sure

These nail technicians are very nice and attentive as soon as you walk through the door. The only reason I gave 4 rather than 5 is the fact that they don't try to make certain us as customers were clear on what they would say on the different options so I felt like my girlfriend could have walked out of there a little happier although they did a great job for the work they did.

Hey Everyone - - I have been having my acrylic nails and pedicures done at Skye Nails on 21st South for years now by Kate, Lance, and other staff. I enjoy that I can customize a pedicure to my liking and desire, depending on my mood or what's going on in my life, and I am charged accordingly, instead of having to pay for the full packages. I am a perfectionist, so it is difficult to do my nails, especially since they are something I can look at all day/night/24 hrs. and critique! My nails turn out 90% of the time, the way I want them to, and enjoy. It's never large mistakes, I just pick out the smallest flaws possible, for instance: a nail not being as straight as it should be, the gel subtly showing brush marks/streaks on one nail, my cuticles that weren't pushed back before the acrylic was put on and they are looking ragged; small little things like that. Coming from a perfectionist like me, 90% is terrific and amazing! I have recommended Skye Nails to my friends, work associates, and family members to get their nails and pedicures done. The place is clean; the staff is always sweeping up; it has just been newly painted; the people that work there are always extremely friendly; staff and customers are fun to talk and joke with; the staff is all very helpful to answer any question I may have; and I have always felt comfortable whenever I have been there with the staff and customers!

I go to Sky Nails to get powder dip done. They do a really great job and my nails always last for at least 3 weeks. It is also a lot cheaper than the other salons I’ve tried! Highly recommend!

These guys took such great care of my friends and I when we came in for a group pedicure appointment. They were super apologetic when I had to wait a bit because there was another customer there who decided halfway through her services that she was in a huge rush and had an attitude. I didn't mind at all and the quality of the attention I received didn't suffer a bit, although I wouldn't have blamed them for wanting to rush through my pedi and get me out the door after the other woman was taken care of. Can't rave enough about the professionalism and quality of customer service here.

I recently had a bad experience at another nail salon. I decided to try Sky Nails yesterday. I got the Nu skin pedicure. The woman who did my pedicure was awsome. She gave me a great massage and was careful not to hurt my swollen sore feet. I'm eight months pregnant and very swollen. This was one of the best experiences I have had at a nail salon. Got right in as a walk-in, no wait. Everything looks new and fairly clean. It’s a brusque no-frills customer service environment, no smiles or chit-chat or music. I got gels and it was done very expertly and quickly. My young daughter got a children’s mani/pedi and didn’t enjoy it much but her results look fantastic. I wish I’d caught the name of the young man doing my nails, because he was a real artist with a pair of cuticle scissors!

Nice, clean place. Workers are friendly, but sometimes it will take over an hour just to get a fill done. I appreciate how meticulous they are, but taking 2 hours is ridiculous. I also don’t always start at my appointment time, sometimes I’m stuck waiting for up to30 minutes. I don’t recommend stopping by if you’re in a rush, but they do an excellent job with everything else.

WOW. The BEST eyebrow waxing and BEST mani-pedis I have ever had!! I always get compliments on the designs they do. And everyone is SO NICE!! If it's busy, just know they are worth the wait! But they usually can get you in fairly quickly. Once I screwed up my nail design (it was gorgeous) as I got out of my car when I got home. I went back an hour later and they fixed it free of charge and fit me in even though they were swamped. I'll never go anywhere else!!

I like this place. They are really quick to get you back for nails or pedicures, not pushy about their other services, do a great job for what you pay for. They are clean as well, so I'm never concerned about things not being sanitized. If you are looking for a decent place to get a quick pedicure, this is the place to go.

My regular place was booked so since these guys were close I decided to take a chance. I had been there maybe ten years ago so not sure if they had changed hands but the environment seemed a bit dark and depressing. I was a bit concerned but gave them a chance. Glad I did. The woman who did may nails took such care and they turned out better than I ever have had at my normal place. I'm sold. Fantastic experience.

I go here relatively often and some of the people are great, some do a half assed job. It just depends. I personally hate when there are sections of my nails still showing when they're painted (if I wanted it to look grown out, I'd leave it grown out) and that's been happening more often lately. Overall, if you want to quickly get in and get the basics done, they'll do the job.

Sky Nails is FANTASTIC!! My eyelashes look gorgeous for weeks. They give amazing pedicures, with NuSkin products. The nail techs are great too. The spa is always clean, with adequate massage chairs, so you can bring your friends for a Pedicure Party!!

I never been to this nail salon. Since I moved from California I been trying to find a really good one.. So let me give my opinion I felt like place was dirty and grundy, that's my number 1 thing I look for, the lady who did my manicure and pedicure she did do an amazing job but I don't like that everything that came out her mouth was would you like this? it's $5 dollars sea salt $5 other place I been too sea salt has always been included... Nail art yes you had to pay extra but every other thing was extra.. So I probably won't be back.

They have talented nail artist but you have to make sure you get the right one and you have to tell them exactly what you want several times. Even then if you get the wrong person you don't get what you want.
