I’ve gotten a dip manicure with 3 different techs here and each one has done an amazing job, I have no complaints.

Lady who did my nails was sweet but super rushed. It’s a shame cause she was obviously talented but then when I looked closer after I left, there was a huge indent in one of my nails (not a big deal but worth noting) and because she didn’t cut my cuticles or even push them back, i left the salon looking like I needed a fill. She didn’t apply the acrylic even close to my cuticle line, there was a big gap on all f my nails. I don’t know if this is a tactic to make people come back for fills really soon hoping they won’t notice or she was just being lazy. But it was not worth what I paid because of how soon I will have to get them filled due to her rushing. Also, don’t get ombré nails here. Just spend the money somewhere else, they won’t do ombré with the actual acrylic powder, they do the ombré with actual nail polish on top of clear acrylics which just looks messy.

Today I had a great pedicure experience! The nail tech was so gentle, took her time, and didn’t rush. All of the tools that’s she used were clean and new out of the packaging. I paid $40 for the deluxe pedicure with regular polish. I will be returning in two weeks. I’m a very satisfied customer.

Wonderful nail spa. Has a $2 dollar discount for students, which is very much appreciated. They are very clean and responsible: loved the fact that wearing face mask and washing hands before sitting down is compulsory. Nails were very well done and they have Opi: a brand of nail polish which I love

The people who work here are so nice i went in for a luxury pedicure but when i went in i just said pedicure and their computers were down so i just got a reg pedi BUT it was still so nice and she did such a good job. Please dont forget to bring cash to tip them well!!

Good pedicure! Salon is following Covid precautions-require a call before coming in, everyone had masks on over nose and mouth, required hand washing upon entry, and stations were wiped down after guests. Only reason I gave 4 stars not 5 was because there was no drying station which was odd.

I've gone to Metro Nails every month for about a year and a half. This place is the best!! All the girls are so friendly and professional. They are welcoming and always take the time to learn the names of their regulars. They do such an amazing job every single time! My gel manicures last for weeks and weeks. You won't be disappointed!

I’m not a frequent customer so I don’t have one specific person I like to work with, but every time I go I get the same quality service. I recently got my nails done and with the pandemic regulation changes, I received the same quality service. Since I moved to RI a couple of years ago and received a recommendation for this place, I haven’t gone elsewhere. The access to the massage chair when getting a pedicure done is a plus for sure.

Today was was my first time going there. Ended up getting a gel manicure. Appt was at 5:15 and got seen right away although it looked to be busy in there. Everyone was polite. My nail technician did a great job and she was very sweet and fast. Definitely found my new nail salon!

So the other day I wanted to treat my sister to a pedicure. I called a few places, made an appt, even put it in my phone with the exact location. Spoiler alert: Metro did not have availability at the time I needed and wasn’t the salon I had booked for Friday at 3:30. Despite my careful planning, Metro is what my brain told me when we got in the car to go. And not only did we not have appts scheduled, we were almost ten min late. We hurry in, give my name, “sorry we’re late! Two pedicures, please!” The shop was clearly busy. The women working check their books, tell us to wash hands and pick a color. We waited a little while - maybe 20 min total - but we sat in chairs side-by-each and got our toenails painted; our first post-pandemic sister date. Hours later I’m looking in my calendar for something else and realize I had made a mistake; we had no-showed at a nail salon in Cranston and walked in to Metro! Sis & I were amazed. No one said a word about us NOT having an appt. They squeezed us into the schedule and made it work. To quote my sister, “That’s a good business woman!” Five stars & well done, Metro Nails. Thank you!!

I've probably had fifty shellac manicures over the years, in about five different cities. The two I've had (so far) from Metro have not only lasted the longest, but have also looked the best for as long as three weeks after receiving them! I'm really impressed with this place. I got a very short, round tip French gel manicure the first time I went and not only was my nail tech absolutely lovely to me but the final result was so precise I couldn't believe it. Nearly a month later, no cracks, chips, bubbles. They are also very well staffed and there never seems to be any wait for walk-in appointments. Not much in the way of decor, no extra add-ons like a little shoulder massage (the way some places do it), but all around a great experience. I was driving to work one day and actually caught myself saying "man, my nails look so good!" Out loud. To myself.

Despite the nail tech misunderstanding my request of an overlay instead of a fill in. She clipped my real nail instead of just placing acrylic over it. Nonetheless great experience she and all of the techs were very nice and pleasent. Recommend to anyone in the area looking for a quick Polish change or fill in, great service. Most of the people here seem like they care at least about your nails. I go in in pain usually don’t mention the pain, someone will notice the in grown nail and a try to get it. I’m writing this review because It is out and I’ve been coming around regularly to make sure it stays out.

Even at their peak hours, and the salon is packed, service is never rushed, and procedures never go unnoticed. You can tell they take pride in their work with the attention to detail.
