I’ve been here twice and got the deluxe pedicure both times. it was detailed and very relaxing, i loved it. they have a great selection of colors and the shellac has always held up for 2+ weeks at minimum. they do use a grater for callus removal, but the woman doing my pedicure DID ask me if it was okay, which i appreciated and i felt like she didn’t do it too rough. the spa itself is super clean and bright with good music and sweet staff! def recommend, thank you all!

I've been going here for two years, and I've never had a bad experience. I am currently OBSESSED with these iridescent mermaid nails.The staff is accommodating and do excellent work. They have a ton of colors, both gel and powder, even some new custom dip powders! Their pedicures are always relaxing and thorough, I recommend getting the hot stones package. The environment is clean, and modern, and the other patrons are generally quiet.

Boyfriend and I went in to get a pedicure and get me a manicure (fake nails) even called ahead and told them the day before. We were quickly helped after checking in Got a shalac set and was told the color was $8 and was charged $15 more instead. Also had another $15-$20 fee added and wasn’t explained but honestly we were to hungry to realize at the time so it’s all good. The services are great and the pedicures were very relaxing. I never had a pedicure done before so for my first time it was a great experience and the hot stones I highly recommend. Also my nails look AMAZING so overall I give this place 10/10. Super friendly people and I loved how they made sure shape, length and heat of certain items were good! I also recently moved to the area and this place is literally right down the street from me it just might be my new place to go for now on!

After 6 months trying out a variety of places that were ok, this is my new go to spot. I’ve had 3 fills - each time was a different person and all 3 were excellent! Not a single nail has lifted or broke since I’ve been going here - which I always thought was just normal wear and tear with acrylics, but I guess not! They’ve been able to recreate whatever photo I show them, and the staff is kind and quick and take pride in their work. They have a tremendous variety of colors in gel and powder dip, and do nice pedicures too. I highly recommend, but call ahead - they are always busy and I often see them turn away walk-ins.

I have been going here for nearly 2 years now and never had any complaints! Everyone here is so sweet and welcoming, and have been incredible about fitting me in to the schedule for little things like if I break a nail or had some time to get a new set last minute. Extremely comfortable and clean salon, and they’ve made my nails exactly what I wanted every time- including fun designs. I’d gotten full sets at a few other places around town but it always hurt or felt uncomfortable. Here I have had absolutely no issue and they are very careful! I won’t go anywhere else! 100% recommend.

I’ve been going here since I moved to Portland and would never go a nowhere else at this point. Everyone that works here does an amazing job and the owners really make sure you get what you wanted. Any bad reviews are probably from people that are going to be unsatisfied wherever they go and have never worked a service job in their life. Thank you Danny, Fiona, and Cindy!! ❤️

I got a dip (with extensions) manicure and a pedicure and they did a great job. Very professional and looked great. Only downside is that it was quite expensive. I live in LA (was in Portland for a wedding) and I can get the same thing in LA (the land of the nails!) for about half the price. Either way, they did a really good job and if I needed nails for an event, I’d come here again because I know it would be well done.

I live a couple blocks away from this salon and noticed it while out running, noting that it was busy midday on a weekday and looked nice inside. I don’t get my nails done much, but made a mental note that next time I did it would be here. I made an appt ~3 weeks in advance, since I needed a Friday at 4, Valentine’s Day weekend. Everyone who came in while I was there had an appt. I was between two options and the tech convinced me to do the one that was more work for her (she was right, I was happier with the result), they didn’t have the exact color of the picture I showed so she mixed powder colors to make it. I don’t get my nails done enough to know if $110 for a deluxe pedicure and powder manicure w/ minor nail art (before tip) is expensive or not, but regardless, Im a bit tough critic as I’m great at doing my own nails (one of 3 things I’m good at 😂) but it was my 40th bday party and I wanted to get them done. I’m glad I did as I love both my nails and toes…and if the difference between “I love them!!” and “they look pretty nice.” is $30, I’ll never go anywhere else as long as I live in this neighborhood.

I've been here a couple times for a manicure with dipping powder, every time it turns out perfect! It's very clean, especially their tools so I feel comfortable about not getting an infection like other nail salons. They are all very nice and try to do exactly what you want. I've found photos on Pinterest of nails that I like, they always try to be accommodating.

This is now my favorite nail salon ever! I called and spoke to the owner Danny to see if anything could be done to save my nails after another salon ruined them. After a lengthy phone consult, he made sure I could come in that same day to look at my nails and see if there was anything to be done. He was so reassuring and hopeful that I was almost in tears of relief when he and another technician evaluated them and decided that there was still enough strength in my nails to allow some repair and regrowth using the proper technique for the dipping powder. That was in December and my nails now look great! They are strong and growing out beautifully. The technique the salon uses for the dipping powder is a multi step process and it is vital all those steps be followed to ensure the color lasts but more importantly the nail itself is strengthened from the process. The salon is super safety conscious-temperature taken, covid questionnaire, hand washing and masks required. They have barriers between clients. They use bagged and sanitized tools. No reuse of files or buffers allowed and they won’t use private items so there is no cross contamination happening. The salon is in a newer building and there is parking available which is good because it would be almost impossible to get street parking! This is a must visit place and I cannot recommend it highly enough! My picture is of the color 3 weeks after it was done and the nails are all still in almost pristine condition. You can see the healthy grow out and the reason I’ll go get a color change is due to the grow out, not failure of the color itself. Please excuse the nasty cuticles!! I’m renovating a house and this mail color has survived intact but my cuticles haven’t!

I LOVE this place!! I have been really dissatisfied with the last 3 places I've gone to have my nails done (I do acrylics with gel over) so was on the hunt for a new location. I couldn't believe how wonderful my experience was here. The gentleman at the front desk (I think his name was Danny) was welcoming and kind, even though he was super busy with the phones. Annie was the tech who did my nails and she was quick, courteous, and obviously knew her stuff! This is the first time in forever that the tech hasn't hurt me by knicking my skin or cuticle. This is my new go-to nail salon! Thank you, New Life!

This is the best nail salon I’ve been to in all of Portland. Danny and the other technicians were very accommodating for myself and my family the week of my wedding and they did an amazing job. I really never write reviews in general but for this place I decided too leave one. This Nail salon is great (Marilyn) who was my nail tech did such phenomenal job she took her time paid attention to detail and made sure I was satisfied and content. It was a pleasant time and they are very efficient and clean. They see you more then just another person that walks in they genuinely want build a reppore and meet your needs. They only have high expectation for everyone and I'll definitely be returning back. I'm from New York visiting and it's hard to please me but they did a great Job. My husband and I are on vacation here in Portland, one of our traditions on vacations is to visit spas/get pedicures done. This salon is just blocks from our hotel so we decided to give it a try. The staff were AMAZING! Super friendly, extremely cautious of COVID-19 procedures to keep everyone safe, etc. They made us feel very comfortable and welcomed. The pedicure was hands down one of the best we've ever had. We chose to go with the Jelly Pedicure, which was priced well in my opinion and worth every penny. The pedicure itself starts with your feet soaking in a jelly and then all the awesome benefits of a pedicure. The massage is usually our favorite part and just when you think they're done massaging your legs and feet, they come back out with hot stone massage, hot towel massage, etc.. it was amazing! If we come back to Portland, I would return here in a heartbeat. I also would highly recommend to others who live in the area as well. If this salon was in my neighborhood in Minneapolis I'd make it my go-to nail salon.

This place is very clean and nice. I lived in the building and today was my first visit. I called and Danny was so nice and knowledgeable to help me from wanting a full set to a dipping powder. The only reason I wasn’t happy was they overbooked and making me wait too long that I have to asked Danny “Are you going to do my nails?” I was about to leave, but Danny really talked me into staying. I’ll give it a tried again on my dipping powder and see if the situation the same then I’ll adjust my review. I just get everything figured out with Danny and he been so kind. He are well aware of the situation and accommodating that me make feel like it’s worthy.

Linh did such a good job with my dip nails. I had dip done for the first time about 3 weeks ago at a different salon. The nails were very thick and the thumb nails were wide. I wasn’t sure I’d have it done again but decided to try one more time. I’m so glad I did! My nails look great! The salon is very clean and the staff is friendly. I was greeted right away and was given clear directions to wash my hands before filling out the quick paperwork while they took my temperature. They took all the safety precautions. I highly recommend New Life Nails!

Update: I’ve been coming here for several years and can’t recommend it enough. The owner Danny is wonderful and if he’s available, he gives the best massages during a pedicure. The place is immaculately clean and takes Covid protocols seriously. I’m always pleased with the quality of work and attention to detail. I’ve been here twice and both times were wonderful. I like to get the Deluxe Pedicure. It includes callus removal, sugar scrub, mud mask, hot stone massage, and more for $45. The women who work there are lovely and attentive. They also offer you a glass of wine or bottle of water, which is nice. There is complimentary parking in the garage, always a huge plus in Portland!

This is THE place to get your nails done in Portland. Extremely high quality manicures, they fit your every accommodation. They'll do any color or finish in any base you prefer (dip, gel, acrylic, etc.). Fiona and Danny are kind and welcoming hosts. I have brought many friends here and they always greet and host them just the same. As long as I live in Portland, this is where I will be bringing my business for my nails!

Favorite place for a mani pedi in Portland. The deluxe pedi is worth the few extra dollars for the paraffin wax and hot stone massage. My shellac/no chip nails usually last 3 weeks before chipping.

Went to this place with my husband last week and it was by far the best nail shop we went to. It was my husbands first time going in to a nail shop and getting his feet done and he enjoyed it very much. This place was nice, clean and the employees are really nice. The owner was super sweet (forgot his name) and he actually sat down and talked to me and my husband. The lady that did my nails was Tammy and man, she did a magnificent job on my nails. I showed her a pic of how I wanted my nails to be done and she did exactly that. My husband and I both left this place happy and satisfied 😃☺️. If you’re looking for a place to get your nails done I would highly recommend you go here. There shop is clean, they do wellness checks, they have nice employees and they have the best service.
