Best salon in Portland hands down. The ladies of HE are truly top notch. Not only is the place immaculately clean, but they take care of each client as if they’re family. I always come in with crazy nail art ideas and they are always up for the challenge and nail it (pun intended) every time. I don’t mind paying a little more because you absolutely get what you pay for. Polish is always right up to the cuticle and lasts a long time.

I took my sister and I to Paint Bar last month as a treat.....I wanted to come back to report that it was an amazing experience and I was shocked to discover it was a true two week manicure (I am really tough on my hands) Pedicure, lasting 3 weeks and going.....Thank you Courtney & Madi for your excellent work!

Best place to get your nails done in Maine & I mean the absolute BEST. I am super picky and since I found this place over a year ago I have had no issues. My nails are always perfect and exactly what I asked for. Love this place and the ladies that work here are awesome! another plus is that the online booking system is easy to use. 10/10 would recommend!

I am a man and H&E Paint bar was my first experience with nail services. I'm in my brother's wedding and wanted to get something special, some geometric designs. It's silly but I was nervous going into the process. It's new to me, I feel that these places are in my mind 'women's spaces' and didn't want to intrude, and though times have changed I know manicures and especially nail art aren't particularly common for men. H&E welcomed me with open arms - Jess my artist and many of the members of the staff voiced their excitement about my design and I was extremely happy with the end result. The process was painless and I felt very comfortable the entire time. I love my nails and wish I had done something like this sooner - thank you to the whole H&E team, especially Jess, for your professionalism and skill - you are all awesome!

I was so thankful to the girls at H&E!! They fixed my nails after hearing my horror story going to a horrible salon that butchered my nails! They helped me knowing I needed them desperately! They fit me in knowing I had an event the next day and I wasnt able to get in to another salon before. They are truly my nail Angel's. I will never go to another nail salon now and I will never go back to acrylic nails after they introduced me to dip powder. Thank you ladies so much! ❤

GREAT place to go!! I got the pedicure with the hot stones and nice scrub and it was heaven. The girls are a ton of fun and made the experience that much better. It is beautiful inside and unlike some salons, there are no noxious fumes to nauseate you. A great experience and my new favorite place to get nails done. I went a little over a week ago and my polish is still perfect. Upgrade for the lasting polish, it's so worth it.

Came here for my birthday last Tuesday and my nail tech was Kimberly. The price point is a bit more than I've spent in the past for pedicures but honestly, this is one of the best looking pedicures I've ever had. I'm extremely pleased and will definitely come back next time I'm in town. They have a wide range of colors to choose from and it's very clean and bright inside.

Shelby is amazing. I've been fortunate to have had pedicures in a variety of cities around the world and I cannot recommend this salon highly enough. It was clear that everyone who works there is always clean and cautious, but they were wonderfully careful during this difficult time of COVID. A wonderful hour plus-long pampering during this crazy pandemic. I highly recommend that you pay them a visit and treat yourself!

Wow!! What a nail transformation! I went in with crazy long, chipped, broken and wicked thick and unnatural looking dip nails that I had for over a month. Kimberly patiently took an hour getting that terrible mess off my nails with no drill (that’s how she does it, and honestly as we agreed, that’s part of the draw for a lot of people). She cut them down to a much more manageable length and did an absolutely meticulous job, probably the best I’ve ever had. My nails look natural, smooth, even and perfect around the edges and cuticles. The color selection is great and the place is so pretty. While the price is higher than I’m used to, I think it’s very worth it. You can even Venmo the tip so no worries about getting to the bank or ATM if you’re in a rush. There is no good reason to go anywhere else!

I'm definitely a nail salon connoisseur or and I would say from Mexico to Miami to Bangor Maine this might be my favorite place. It's comfortable they know what they're doing, you can get the latest trendy nail styles. It's not too expensive either. Definitely my go-to salon in the Portland area now.

Cutest nail bar ever. I see Sarah here for her next level gel manicures, don't leave without some glitter. I highly recommend making your appointment online because Sarah is always booked up, but there's usually at least one person available for walk ins, and it looks like the perfect place for groups, as they have about 15 seats for pedicures and manicures. They are located right across from the dunkin donuts in city center, if you're having trouble finding the location. There's usually plenty of street parking on free and spring streets, as well the parking lot next to El rayo, city center garage, and temple st garage all a 1 minute walk away.

Absolutely loved this natural nail salon! Linda was great, and the shops decor is very nice and upscale. It’s also a plus that they serve drinks as well. If you are in town I recommend you check this place out.
