I highly recommend this place! My hairstylist is Jessica and she did an amazing job with my hair. I went in on May 25, I wanted to get rid of my red hair. She gave me ideas and we decided on partial highlights. Red is hard to come off but Jessica made it work! I went in again for a hair cut and scalp treatment and loved the outcome! Definitely book your appointment with her!

Honestly one of the best European facials I’ve ever received at half the price I usually pay! The spa room was very clean and quiet with dim lighting and soothing music playing. My aesthetician Brittany C. had a warm and comforting presence about her. I really appreciated how gentle yet thorough she was. Before we started she analyzed my skin type and asked all the right questions to ensure I was comfortable throughout the process. I truly couldn’t believe she was a student she did such a great job. I left there with a glowing face feeling refreshed! I will definitely be returning!

Five stars because my girl was the best! This is my second time asking for Angelina P. and I was not disappointed! She gave me the best hair wash, cut, and style. She was quick and knew what she was doing. I felt so confident walking out. **customer service at the front counter was great too so definitely a bonus. I highly recommend asking for Angelina when coming in!

She explained every step she was doing before doing it, which made me feel comfortable, she paid attention to any and all skin irritations and was gentle when placing products and the warm towels on me. Gianna Cardi did an amazing back facial on me yesterday! Her professionalism was unmatched & it was beyond relaxing. She walked me through everything she was going to do and allowed me to feel completely comfortable throughout the service. She made sure my clothing and hair was out of the way as well. Frances walked me through every step and is super knowledgeable on the products she is using, their ingredients and how they will help my skin achieve its full potential. So I've been to the Studio Academy Of Beauty in Tolleson three times now to get my hair cut. My stylist Liana was very friendly, has done a Great Job and I have noticed her getting better cutting my hair each time going back. I would recommend this school to get a much less expensive hair cut, color or other services, remember it is a school, but to save some money it was worth it!

It never occurred to me to go to a "beauty school" to get a facial....That being said, I DID & I LOVED IT!!! I loved it so much I went a second time and plan to go a 3rd and well, this is my new spa! Seriously, I went to Grace McNamara, who is an absolute doll first of all, but her attention to detail! She guided me to changing area, got me comfortable on her table, explained everything she was doing and what she was using (top products btw) and then....that lovely massage...Good LORD take me now! I would have paid to have her do that for 2 hours! These students want to do well and ARE doing well! YOU are also providing them a service by allowing them to hone their skills. I highly recommend skipping your $179 foo-foo spa facial & give Grace & these students a try! You won't be disappointed!

She told me it was her first time doing that type of haircut that I wanted but I still trusted her because the instructor was doing a really good job at explaining the steps to her. I had my hair cut and colored by Jessica Valenzuela and she did a great job! She was very gentle when brushing out my hair and made sure to avoid catching my ear rings with the brush. My cut turned out perfect and she took just enough to remove damage without going super short. For my color I went from medium brown to black with lavender strips underneath as peek a boos. The black went on flawlessly and Jessica made sure to not dye my skin as well. The lavender didn't take to the parts that were bleached but she immediately offered to bring me back in to correct it at no charge. She really went above and beyond to fix the situation. Unfortunately the brand of color the school uses doesn't seem to make the best fashion colors and it still didn't stick and the school won't allow the students to work with other brands. But with some arctic fox at home I got exactly what I wanted. Overall I highly recommend Jessica based on her care and skills.

She also performed microdermabrasion on me for the 1st time. And she performed microblading on me for the 1st time. My face looked so fresh afterwards and was very soft. I’ve had my share of people that I’ve had work on my beauty needs over the years, so I’ve come to appreciate having great people work with such personal needs and do an awesome job at it. Amber is that exact type of person that I would continue to see again and again because I had such good experiences with her. I ended up getting a back facial and my legs waxed on separate occasions and both treatments went super well, resulting in satisfying results and a great professional experience. While I had had my legs waxed before she still provided a helpful refresher on anything I may not have remembered and kept me distracted through any of the painful parts of the process. I hadn’t had any sort of facial before so she talked through the process with me but still made it a very relaxing experience and accommodated any requests I had. Her demeanor, personality and knowledge make it very easy to trust her and feel like I’m in capable hands in situations that otherwise could have been very stressful or painful. Both treatments were done very well with much noticeable improvement that resulted in beautifully smooth skin and no lasting pain. I will definitely see her again for any aesthetic needs I have in the future and highly recommend her if you also look for that type of person that not only gets what you’re looking for for your beauty needs but is also willing to work with you to get it.

Update: I went there again on 2/7/20 and had a very good experience with Blanca would go there again. In July had a very good experience with Amber, haircut and color, blowdry. Students are well supervised and take their time (don't be in a rush). If you use a Groupon this is really an excellent deal. Then on 11/4/16 I went and had a facial which was very nice. The young woman spent an hour on me and received some massaging as well. My only feedback for her would be to speak a little more, let the client know exactly what you are doing and what kind of products are being used.

I had the European Facial done by Colandra. she was wonderful and very professional. She asked about my comfort frequently. The whole ambiance of the room was quiet and soothing. It was not loud and brash as most teaching schools in the area are. After my facial I had a manicure. Kelly was very good at her job and paid attention to detail. My only complaint is the Academy does not have lights to hasten the drying process of the nail polish. My manicure was ruined the moment I put on my seatbelt. The drying lights would be a wonderful addition to the school and not have an upset customer leaving with a totally ruined manicure. The whole visit was enjoyable up until I left the building. I have scheduled another visit in two weeks minus a manicure.
