I’ve been coming here for a few months now and I absolutely love it here! Everyone is friendly and professional, it’s like being around family. It’s not like the other salons where they just want your money. There’s conversations the people who are doing your services (in my case it’s Amy) and Tara is always amazing! They know me by name and greet me when I walk in the door always ask me if I want anything so I’m comfortable. It’s always a pleasant and relaxing day and experience and I will always go back and recommend this place without hesitation.

Been here a couple of times for various occasions and they never disappoint. I've had some iffy experiences with other local salons and Modish has become my go to as a result. Last visit I believe was with a man named Chung (I am so sorry if I am wrong on the name) and he was super friendly and was very attentive to ensure my nails turned out how I wanted. Always a good time.

It's always a good experience when I leave. They have water, sodas and wine that they offer you for free while you're getting a service. Both pictures are dip powder and it last at least 2 weeks. I wash my hands frequently and am recovering from Breast Cancer.

This was my first time a Modish and I have to say that it is a clean and inviting place. The Staff were all friendly and accommodating. I am satisfied with my nail but think I'll try a different shape next time, since I have fat fingers. 😅 I have been so disappointed with the nail salons in Philly, especially after living in Illinois and experiencing the excellent services out there. I got my wedding nails done here and they did a great job on my manicure. I got dip French tip almond shape. I showed them an inspiration picture and she replicated it remarkably well. However my pedicure was extremely mediocre. I’ve had way better pedicures else where.

Highly Recommend!! The service is Always A-1 and their nail Care services are really paramount. Before polish, design, etc. they make sure that Your nails are healthy. Debbie is THE BEST! (&My mom loves Jai Nak!) But, really each nail tech is friendly and personable whether you’re in their chair or not. Love them!!

I don’t get my nails done too often so when I do it’s a splurge to treat myself, and I can be a bit particular. I saw Jack and she was amazing. Super focused, clean and organized. My nails turned out exactly how I wanted them and she asks for feed back to make sure they are exactly how you want them. She took her time which a appreciate and I left with the cleanest prettiest nails I have ever had!! Not to mention my pedicure was also incredible. I will definitely be back to see her again! My-Linh did a fabulous job on my nails today!! First time I’ve had her as my nail tech and I love her work!! I love this Salon! The spaciousness is nice and i love that it’s full of light. It makes for a very relaxing experience. The massage chairs give a great massage while you’re getting a pedicure and I love that!! Everyone has been friendly and prices are fair with the current market for these services. Highly recommend this great nail salon!!

This place is wholly dependent on what manicurist you are assigned to. I had the best pedicure I’ve ever gotten 2 weeks ago and a really not so good one today. The paint looks good but the massage was short and a bit too gentle for me, personally. Let me be clear the guy was super nice… just not the manicurist I requested and had a different style. I requested the same person as before this week and was not informed she was unavailable—I would have scheduled for another day. At the end of the day the staff is kind and the service is good. The quality of pedicure is just inconsistent. I’m hoping to return to see Tammy again next week to get the extra massage I was hoping for this week and didn’t get.

I received a jelly detox pedicure with green tea. It smelled so good and was very relaxing. The complementary wine didn’t hurt either. 2 of my toe nails had cracked and Eric was able to restore them to a beautiful state. Eric was very professional and kind. I definitely will return in the future.

I was greeted as soon as I walked in. The receptionist had me sign in before working with Cindy. She did a really nice job on my nails. I’ve gotten so many compliments. The salon is beautiful and the staff is professional and friendly. They offered me a drink with my service and got me in and out.

Modish Nail Salon is the only nail salon that I now use to do my dip powder nails and pedicure. Everyone there does a really good job, but I go to Debbie. Debbie is very patient and takes her time. I go every three weeks. My nails hardly chip and the dip holds up well.This nail salon is not in my neighborhood but they are worth the 20-26 minute drive. Update: love my Holiday nails! Debbie did a wonderful job.

I had an appointment at 2:15 and my service did not begin until 3p. So be weary if you are on time constraints. However they did rectify by giving me a discount. That’s not why they received 3 stars. The actual just of the nail tech was sloppy and rushed. I had to guide her through smoothing the sides of my nails. (I was very polite and she still seemed annoyed). After they looked better but if you look closely they’re very uneven. If you’re someone that’s particular about you sets, this may not be the place for you. The pedicure was nice but I paid for a deluxe pedicure and was given a basic pedicure. My feet were not scrubbed nor were they massaged. There’s no real difference so just stick with the regular “spa” pedicure.

I’ve never had a bad manicure here, and ever since I discovered this place a year ago I cannot go anywhere else. The prices are worth it. It’s a fun atmosphere, and they’ll give you a complimentary beverage (wine, etc.) while you get your nails done. I def recommend to make an appt bc it can get busy.

I found this salon after years of going to mediocre places since moving to PA and I am so happy! I’ve only gotten pedicures done the two times I’ve been, but Van did a beautiful job both times. I have acrylic on my big toes for length and I get gel polish. I always get a regular pedi and Van gives a fantastic massage, scrub, and etc. I love her and trust that she’ll give me exactly what I’m paying for every single time!

I had good expectations after reading about Modish as highly recommended in some neighborhood groups, and my first visit here for a regular manicure and pedicure was great. The place is super clean and pretty and the gentleman at the desk when I arrived was very welcoming. Amy N, the technician who did both my mani and pedi was so wonderful. Very sweet, professional, and asked me a couple of times throughout if I was happy/wanted any changes. It's been 9 days and my nails have not chipped! The drinks they offer (including wine and coffee, maybe beer also) were a nice touch. I look forward to my next visit and plan to make this my new nail salon even though it's a bit further from me than where I was going before.

I love this salon, I really do. But as a loyal customer for the past two years, there are some things that need to be adjusted. I had an appointment today for 6pm and ended up leaving because I waited for almost half an hour. I’ve never had this issue until recently, with longer wait times and not being able to get all the services I want done because of understaffing. I understand being short staffed but what’s the point in making an appointment if I have to wait? Especially on a week day where I’m coming after work. The receptionist could be more attentive instead of ignoring waiting customers. I’m giving 3 stars because it is always clean and generally a pleasant atmosphere, but I’ve seen a decline in customer service. For the price, I expect better.

I cannot imagine going anywhere other than Modish. From the professional staff to the amazing service, I am always leaving so relaxed and satisfied! The pictures do not do it justice. There is a reason that they are always booked with appointments (because the service is that great!). I have my specific nail technician that I go to and I will not go to anyone else! My dip powder can last 4 weeks which is amazing!! I am constantly receiving compliments on my pedicure designs. I would be so lost without Modish Nails.

From start to finish, the entire experience I had at Modish nails was probably THE best experience I’ve ever had at a nail salon. When I first stepped in, they had me sign in and then offered me complimentary drinks (water, beer, wine) and then promptly directed me to a seat where I chose the color of my nails. Throughout this entire process, the owner had taken care of me and my friend the entire time, and I noticed she did that for everyone else in the salon as well. I had a very bad experience at a different salon, and coming here made up for it and more. They are professional, caring, and fairly priced (probably the lowest I’ve seen for a gel manicure anywhere remotely near me). If you’re hesitant about coming here, please don’t! I can promise you, you will NOT regret it!

By far the absolute best Nail salon in Philadelphia!! The staff is highly skilled and the place is BEAUTIFUL. I was lounging in the massage chair getting the best pedicure and deep foot massage. I would recommend this place time and time again. I am not one to take the time to write a review but this place was just that good! The Owner is also incredible to talk to and very personable! I went for the first time around Christmas so it was SUPER busy. I had an appointment and had to wait about 10 minutes, but again they were busy, so it was understandable. The lady who did my nails was so sweet and kind and did a great job with my gel manicure. There so SO many colors to choose from (I'd probably need an appointment time just to pick a color! lol) HOWEVER. My one complaint is my gel manicure started lifting/peeling after a week.. which was so disappointing. I'm going back though because everyone was so nice and I loved the color selection. It's worth another shot :)

I didn’t have appointment but they squeeze me in and I wasn’t rushed. My toes look really nice and my nails was really clean and smooth So fast forward i went back yesterday and i was not happy at all. I thought i found a new nail Salon. The girl i had yesterday rush me out the door. I ask for a gel manicure and pedicure. Pedicure was ok (just ok) but i get my feet and nails done just about every other week so i know my feet and nails don’t be that bad but still don’t skip steps. The gel manicure was horrible i have cuts on my cuticles. A manicure you have to use cuticle cream or whatever to push them back and she cut to deep. She didn’t even give me a bowl with water for my manicure and i even said something to her about it she said this is another way They do it. And then filed my nails after the gel polish was done and dried. It was just a mess. My poor little fingers are so raw right now. Bright side is i don’t have to work. Begin as though I have a hair salon and my fingers are always in water i would be in trouble but I’m off a few days so I’m good. Another reason why when it comes to a manicure i know how it should be done !

This place is great!! I just moved here from California, and I have a lot of issues with ingrown nails so a lot of places either make it worse or hurt me a lot while getting my pedicure, this is the first place I’ve found that is completely painless and it looks amazing!! I am not going to complain about my nail salon search, since moving to Philadelphia a couple of months ago. But, I am happy to announce that it is over now!! The weirdest experience happened to have me search last minute on Yelp for a new place, but I read about Mia and Ubered out there! Mia did my dip powder for me, shaped beautifully into almond shape, like I love. It was clean, perfect, and shiny. She was meticulous, but fast. I will only be going to her from now on! The color selection is great! The salon is clean and bright! And Tara, the lady is charge, was very welcoming. She was singing while sweeping, and I sang along with her!

Decided to get a pedicure during my lunch break today. They took me right away. Water temperature was perfect the moment I out my feet in! (No waiting for it to warm up or asking them to add hot water). I bought my own polish as is my practice, but they had great selections, so I added a sparkle to my own. Foot Massage that came with the service was very good! I got back to work on time to finish my day!

My first visit was great! Excellent nail tech and my nails looked perfect! My second visit was drastically different. My tech was no longer working there and 2 different techs did my nails. One did my pedicure and 1 did my refill. Not very efficient. My nails looked ok but were not perfect. I was charged $25.00 more than at my first visit!! When I questioned this I was given an attitude. Fortunately there are plenty of other options in the area.

My first visit, several months ago, was just ok because I had a new technician who was clearly just learning powder dipping. However, I have visited again and again since then. The owners are great! Hubby is funny, wife is adorable and both are very customer service oriented. I totally ENJOY the experience and the glass of wine! I do make these suggestions though; -Techs give longer, better massage...we pay for it ($$$) and it will show in your tip. -Techs not concern themselves with other drama. My foot is cut now, and I can't wear a shoe, because my tech was SCRUBBING my foot so hard, and not paying attention to me because she was busy chatting to her co-workers. -TURN DOWN THE SPEED OF YOUR DRILLS! THEY BURN!!

This is an unacceptable business practice to me, but you make your own choice on whether or not you can tolerate this… just making you aware.

I stopped in today to get my eyebrows done because I happened to be shopping in the same area. This was my first and last time going here. The receptionist was nice and when I said I was there for my eyebrows she told me it would be about twenty minutes. I could see they were busy so this didn't bother me. When I was called back, the girl that did my eyes seemed nice enough and I was impressed that it was less painful than normal. She worked really fast and then held up a fingerprint covered/smudged mirror. It was hard to see so I thought they looked even. As I was driving home, my eye started to inch. I pulled over and opened my mirror. There were TWO eyelashes in my eye, actually in my eye. After I carefully got them out, my eye felt better but that's when I noticed in the mirror all the small hairs still at the middle of my nose. Her mirror was so dirty that I didn't notice she missed so much with the wax. I don't really blame her for the eyelashes in my eye because she did wipe my brows after waxing like they normally do but needing to pluck when I got home... What was the point of the wax?

I'm not sure what they do differently here, but every time I've had a refill done here it lasts so much longer! They are very detail oriented and do such a great job, while also being very quick. I've always made an appointment and have never had to wait more than ten minutes. The staff is very friendly and the complementary drinks are just the icing on top. Truly don't have a bad thing to say!

I have been to modish about 5 times and I think I have gotten a pedicure every time. I LOVE that they have the plastic bowl covers for santitation purposes and I’m surprised more places don’t do this. My only complaint is the lack of massage with the pedicure (as mentioned by a couple others). I timed it today and the woman had massages both feet/legs in about 2 mins, which is about a minute and a half longer than the tech I had last time, she basically just rubbed lotion on my legs. I’m not sure how long is an acceptable amount of time but it felt very short and I barely had a chance to relax and enjoy it before it was over. So if you are reading this, please please please tell your employees to give a little bit more of a massage! I don’t know about others but for me, that is the best part of the pedicure and it’s such a tease to only get a barely 2 minute massage. Overall, the place is sparkling clean, they are very friendly, and the complimentary beverage is an added bonus! I will give them another try, before I go back to my previous place.

I had a gel French mani/pedi and my daughter had a mani. The place is very clean, the people are very friendly. I didn’t have to wait for my appointment at all. The work was meticulous and I got the best French mani I’ve ever had. I would have given 5 stars but the tech (Linh) only massaged my right hand and the pedi massage could have been longer. I will definitely go back. I wanted to give an update. It’s been three weeks and my gel manicure is still perfect and I haven’t restricted any activities.

Disappointing to be charged for a removal...even if they did the gel polish and I'm getting it redone. Almost all salons would include that in the pricing. Very pushy with 'extras' and such. The "deluxe" pedicure barely had any massage at all....which is the main benefit of a pedicure for me. They were friendly though. And the whole place was very clean and didn't have the overpowering smell that some nail salons have.
