This is the best tanning salon in the area. They have a range of beds with different intensity as well as stand up cabin. The beds and place itself is always super clean and organized. Fresh towels and disinfected googles are offered for each session. You can make an appointment online but walk-ins are always welcome and stuff does everything to accommodate every client. Highly recommend.

This is the best tanning salon in the city hands down! They have nice beds which they make sure that its constantly being cleaned up and a really friendly staff! Clean goggles and towels always waiting for you in the room.. I've been coming here over 3 years now and never had a problem of any sorts before.. And its usually easy to do walk ins as well, i almost always find a spot

Best salon in North Brooklyn by far! Been coming here for the past 4 years when I moved to the area. Super clean (this is huge for me), good range of beds/intensity, and a huge selection of lotions. Staff is really easy going and helpful. Everything including their single sessions are at an affordable price point, but their packages offer a huuuge value

I got my first spray tan here a few days ago. The lady working there really went out of her way to make me feel comfortable. I am OBSESSED with the results and already booked in for another. I'm usually very pale and it's given me an amazing glow - it still looks just as good nearly a week later! I'll definitely keep coming back.

Cannot recommend Urban Tanz enough! The customer service is excellent and the beds are always very clean with good bulbs. As someone with psoriasis on my torso, visiting Urban Tanz has been a great help with keeping my outbreaks at a minimum when topical medications no longer work. Check them out for your tanning and beauty needs!

Klaudia is the key to the best tan - I’ve legit ever had. She sprays effortlessly. I look sun kissed - what else can you ask for ?? I’ve been getting spray tans for many years but her technique works the best with the longest lasting solution technique ! I go to her every week / week and a half since it stays so well. She always makes the room clean and I am comfortable in front of her to get a seamless tan !

I mean wow. Not only is this place so cozy, clean and cute but the prices and the staff make you feel so comfortable and taken care of. Every time she has sprayed me (i've been going for years) before a vacation or an event, it is gone the extra mile. She sprays me like she would herself. I absolutely love Urban Tanz. I never write reviews but as a loyal customer I felt I should! I have a been coming here for years. They are very accommodating and flexible. I have brought my friends before events to get spray tans and they LOVED it! They said it was the best spray tan they’ve ever gotten. I normally just tan in the prestige bed and every time I get great color. They are very knowledgeable of lotions and can help you pick the one that will help get the tan you want. I really can’t recommend this place enough!

I've been going to Urban Tanz for 5+ years and it's honestly the one and only tanning salon I will go to in NYC. The beds are the highest quality and give you the most natural glow of any others I've ever used. Open Sun bed gives you a deep bronze tan that lasts super long, and KBL Extra Sun gives you that rosey sunkissed look. Highly recommend buying a package of 10!! Best bang for your buck.

So glad I found this spot when I moved to Williamsburg! The Open Sun bed gives the most gorgeous, golden brown tan (12 minutes). Everyone that works here is sweet, kind, professional, and happily willing to answer all questions about packages, tanning beds, cleaning procedures, etc. They're extremely punctual and have been flexible in the few times that I needed to reschedule. They also continue to take temperatures upon arrival, which makes me feel safe : ) Totally recommend this place if you're looking for a tanning hit before the weekend comes. A+ experience every single time!

Cant say enough good things about this salon! I’ve lived in almost every borough of NYC and have been tanning for years, Urban Tanz is such a step up from your average tanning spot! Want details? How about it’s spotless, the customer service is off the charts, they have the latest and best beds, and the spray tan technicians are artist with that gun! I was a little nervous at first returning back to my normal tanning routine with covid but felt totally comfortable after seeing the precautions taken and the care they take sanitizing. Normally I use the beds but after months of not tanning I needed a quick fix, Laryssa was my Technician and advised me on what coloring would work best. I was given aftercare instructions and even received a follow up call to see how my spray turned out. So happy with the results and it was so natural looking! A week later I decided to try the teeth whitening service they offer and again I was treated amazingly by the staff and couldn’t have been more satisfied. If you’re looking for a place to pamper yourself look no further! Urban Tanz you rock!

This is the nicest tanning salon I have ever been to. The individual rooms for each bed are very spacious so you feel comfortable and secure changing before and after your tan. And the decor and furniture is so nice! The staff and service is top notch, they always recommend great services and products to help maximize the experience. They also seem to change the bulbs with frequency because I always get a great tan!

I’ve been going here for a long time for a skin condition. The beds are always spotlessly clean, the customer care is above and beyond, and I get the privacy I prefer. I rarely wait, I’m always treated very kindly & I never feel judged; Which as a guy going to a tanning salon is a kind of a thing... this place is great! & it’s a Mom&Pop shop! One of the few left in Williamsburg, run be true blue New Yorkers from the neighborhood who are very cool. If your looking for a tan, this is the place.

I’ve been to a lot of tanning salons in the city and the cleanliness and professionalism of this establishment is the best I’ve seen around. These girls really know how to take care of you, make you feel welcome, and guide you in the right direction to achieve the results you desire. I’ve been a regular weekly customer for about a year now! It’s always a pleasure to come here to relax and unwind. They always have great deals as well as fun contests you can partake in. They have a nice selection of tanning lotions as well as all of my favorite sun beds. Overall me and my friends love to come here and will continue to do so as long as I’m in the neighborhood!

They have a good selection of beds and lots of different lotions to choose from. You have the option of making an appointment online or walk-ins which is super convenient. I find their different packages to be fairly priced based on their location of condition of their beds.

I really like this salon. I used to tan in queens and I recently moved to Williamsburg. The prices are pretty cheap considering the area and it's really clean. Everytime I come in the staff is cleaning and sweeping. They're really nice also and they dont try to upsell you with any lotions or extra services. I have had 2 spraytans here last minute and as a guy they made me feel comfortable. This is probably one of the best salons I've ever been to. Keep up the good work!

Love this place! I have been coming here for UV tanning for a while and recently began getting spray tans. The technician is awesome and makes the process so quick and comfortable that I forget I'm standing in the buff. The staff is super helpful and I've noticed they take the time to go thru all the beds, packages, and lotions with customers so that they understand what's what. The girls that work there are so sweet and down to earth, but not young and immature like some other salons I have gone to over the years. They really know their stuff about skin care. Gotta say they are pretty darn cute too. Never disappointed. Loyal custy for sure!

This salon outdoes every salon I've been too. I've been coming here for years, never an issue. Just started airbrush tanning with the ladies there and they give me that nice cali sun glow. I'm shocked a fake tan could look so real. The ladies that work there are friendly, dont push products on you, and are always all smiles even when I myself have noticed customers being annoying and nasty. This is a real cool laid back spot. I recently started spraytanning at urban tanz and I would never have imagined the tan would look so natural and real. Was totally nervous i was going to look like a freak but I trusted the reviews. The price for spraytans are really affordable and I use the opensun tanning bed just to feel warm and get a little kick going before my spray. Nice combo. Really clean place, staff is friendly and considering I'm a dude, they dont make me feel awkward that I'm getting an airbrush spray. Loyal customer here!

I got a really good base tan, and then the next day I used the open sun and every single person at work the next day asked me how I got so tan. I ended up purchasing a level 4 package, it was economical and totally worth it. I was so bronzed and glowing. The open sun is a miracle bed. And unlike most places they keep this place immaculate. I never have to ask for the sanitizer bc my bed is always actually sparkling. I am so picky with that you have no idea. The girls are really nice too, they don't make me feel bad if I ask them a question. Some other places I experienced attitude when all I did was ask what kind of lotion would be best...hated that. So I'm happy about that. It's nice and cozy in there, warm and welcoming. I have gotten spray tans too and I love them- never thought I would but it's so instant. This winter I will give my skin a break and start getting more airbrush tans :) hope this was helpful. I always review places before I go so I'm happy when I can give feedback also

I just got a airbrush tan from urban tanz for the first time a few days ago and it is by far the BEST airbrush I've ever received! Laryssa and Allison are truly artists at what they do. If you dont believe me, just book an airbrush with them. They pay such close attention to your body and help contour your not so flattering parts. I've been a repeat client for a few years now and felt it was time for a review. With my hectic schedule, they always find time for me and with each and every airbrush I receive, I get the most exceptional service. As long as they are in business, I will be a lifelong client!

So far I have received two services from urban tanz, the airbrush tan and i got my eyebrows microbladed. Literally the BEST airbrush i had especially considering I am quite hairy lol. HUGE FAN OF THEIR SPRAY TANS!!! I've gone to a bunch in the surrounding area including Manhattan and this is by far the best place for an airbrush! Technicians are so friendly and professional. There's no upselling or awkwardness. Easy booking system too and super cheap for an excellent airbrush. So many choices of solutions too! A++++ recommend!!

Second time writing this review, bc this small business is WORTH IT! somehow my first one was deleted? Anyhow, I've been mystic tanning and verspa spa spraying for years and even worked at palm beach tan in salt lake city prior to moving here, so cleanliness, professionalism, atmosphere, and ESPECIALLY a flawless tan are what I expect from any establishment. I have been impressed every single time with my interactions with alllll of the staff, their generosity with flexibility on helping me repair my tan when i messed one up myself (they then educated me on what body showers not to use to avoid it next time, which i had no idea soooo im so thankful how quickly they jumped on helping me out with that so i didnt have to live with a less than perfect spray.) I refuse to tan anywhere else now and always look forward to seeing the staff. Theyre time efficient as well, which is great if youre in a rush their one hour spray is my go to and I'm in an out in 20 minutes! 10/10 recommend!

Was visiting NY for the past month and felt pale as hell. I searched around and dropped by Urban Tanz. Ended up coming 4x to use a bed and once for a spray tan. Opensun bronzing bed is bomb and Marie rocked my spray tan. I looked natural not fake and orange. Bonus points for the fly girls that work there.

I was really impressed by this place , mature knowledgeable employees made me feel comfortable - not like other salons that have teens behind the counter who don't know the difference between uva and uvb, the spray tan was amazing and I felt the employees were very accommodating and flexible with my schedule, definitely will be my new regular place !
