This is far and away the best nail salon in the city, especially for nail art. Ann did a remarkable job taking my vision of Halloween Cat nails and making it a reality. Seriously, get her to do your nail art- you'll be obsessed staring at your nails in awe. Both locations are amazing, clean, and provide above and beyond attention to detail. If you love you to get your nails done, there's no better place.

We had a wonderful experience. Laura and Mary Ann took such amazing care of us. Mary Ann did a wonderful job reshaping nails. Laura did such a fantastic job taking off an acrylic set of nail. She made sure to take her time to keep the natural nails intact and healthy. They were both so fantastic and nice. We are so grateful for their dedication to excellence! Love it here so much, they are the best out there!

Wasn’t my fave experience in a nail salon. Will not be returning. Paid $80 for opulent pedi and the nail tech burnt my nails with the drill 3 times where I jerked my feet back in pain while trying to do a gel soak off. I had to tell her to stop using the drill to try to get every piece of polish off and just soak off the bottom layer of remaining gel. I mean that’s common sense and basic nail tech knowledge but I had to verbally tell her that after she seemed completely oblivious to my suffering with her drilling my nails off. Then I had to keep giving her corrections to perfect my toe polish. There were parts that were not solid and appeared as gaps in the polish due to an uneven coat, which is something an amateur would do. She eventually got the full nail solid but only after a bunch of extra coats so now my toe nails are lumpy looking. I almost told her to take it off and start over but I gave up at that point. I shouldn’t have to micromanage my nail tech she should already know what they’re doing smh. The four stars are only for the good customer service and the nice ambience. But, I will never return again for that amateur level of service. They also did not have enough color options for my liking.

Courtney was the lovely woman that removed my acrylic nails. She was so gentle and did such an amazing job. She also gave me a gel French manicure. It was prefect. She also has tricks on how to keep your nails stronger without fake nails. That said I am a fan of them. She was great.

Honestly I really debated making this review because everything else was wonderful. I asked for dip ombre at first when I arrived, which they couldn't do at that time, because a certain tech wasn't there. That was 100% fine because I forgot to request it in my original booking, so I was totally fine to do regular dip. As the tech was working on me, she kept complaining about my hands being too tense, but not really telling me what she wanted me to do. By the end I could tell she was really frustrated with me, and all I could do was keep apologizing. I was really upset by the whole exchange, and not satisfied with my nails at the end. The color and shaping was really uneven. I was trying not to cry when I was paying, so I didn't even notice that she didn't deduct my deposit from the cost of the visit. I called later that week to fix the deposit issue and they were very helpful. Again idk if the tech was having an off day, or what, but the space is beautiful and everyone else was very friendly. I will definitely try again, because they have so many good reviews! I'll update my review after the second try.

Tweedy was my nail tech and she was amazing! So efficient + professional! She handled my services with care + expertise. I felt so comfortable. Jennifer was serving my girlfriend + she offered great conversation. The massages were much needed, we particularly enjoyed the hot stones! We highly recommend these ladies + this nail salon. A little over a year ago, I asked friends for recommendations on a new place to get my nails done. One friend suggested Nail Bar and advised that u book my mani/pedi with Ms. Pam. I followed her directions, and I'm so glad I did. I've been a loyal customer since then because in addition to the glass of wine I receive upon entry and the energy-boosting crystals throughout the space, Ms. Pam provides excellent service. She's meticulous, conscientious about her craft and clearly cares about her clients. Plus I love that she has so much personality and is almost always wearing a fun outfit. Like my friend, I now recommend Nail Bar, and I absolutely suggest booking with Ms. Pam... just make sure you leave space on her books for me.

I have tried several nail salons in New Orleans and this is by far the best place in town!!! The bar is so beautiful and clean. They have professional and friendly staff with amazing service! The owner and the entire team made me feel welcomed and comfortable as soon as I walked in. Tracy did my manicures and she is the ABSOLUTE BEST!! She was so welcoming, personable and super helpful. This was my first time coming here. My wife treated me to a mens pedicure. She understands how much I'm on my feet from being a home chef, working, being a travel foodie and doing food reviews. I just want to say Ann did an amazing job! She made me feel so comfortable, she educated me as well as provided great conversation! Be warned this place is pricey. While i like my nails i don't feel like they should have been $165 with no other service. No one discussed price so if you want a design ask how much its going to be before you get started. *Update the owners got in touch with me about about the issue and let me know that the tech are suppose to go over price before designs. Jewel personally called and corrected the issue and let me know the tech felt bad for not going over the price which i should have asked as well. Great customer service.

From the moment I walked into Nail Bar NOLA, I felt one thing: loved. I was welcomed by first name, and I was offered a mimosa, sparkling water, or chilled water as I settled in. Every element of the beautiful and calming aesthetic whispered, "Breathe and rest." My luxury pedicure included a gentle scrub, warmed stones, and - my personal favorite - a collagen treatment. But, perhaps most healing of all, was the conversation I shared with my pedicurist, Mary Ann. She genuinely expressed care for me as not just as a client, but as a friend. I also really enjoyed meeting the owners who checked in on me as though I were the only customer in the nail bar, which I wasn't at the time. I loved my peachy pink pedicure and would recommend Nail Bar NOLA to anyone in New Orleans - whether they are new to the city or call it home. It was wonderful to feel so cared for and for my kids to be loved, too (they were given special balloons while they waited).

I was staying in the neighborhood and stopped by for a pedicure on a Thursday afternoon. They were able to squeeze me in same day, and I'm so glad! The receptionist, Lexi, was such a sweetheart, and I loved my technician, Mary Ann. She was attentive, gentle but firm, and did a great job. They served wine while I relaxed in the massage chair and the service was impeccable!

She gave me a new shape, we called it almost almond since my nails were not quite long enough & then she gave me a gorgeous colorful almond French tip. I think that’s what it was called. I called for a same day appointment, but this nail salon was booked and now I know why! Nathan asked if I'd liked to be placed on a wait list and I declined thinking I'll find somewhere else. Within 20 minutes I received a text asking if I was still looking for an appointment today. When I arrived, Jewel immediately greeted me with a warm smile. This is NOLA hospitality at its BEST. Tran treated me with a pedicure. Although they "squeezed" me in, I did not feel rushed at all. Tran was meticulous in her work. If I lived here, I would only come back to her. Pro tip: make an appointment at least 3 days in advance even outside of tourist season.

Walked in for service at noon, they are open until 7 p.m. and was told nothing was available for me and I could try again on Monday. Mind you, I paid for parking downtown and hoping to experience what I had heard about this place. I suppose if you’re a guy and only want a regular pedi without the gel and acrylics then you aren’t really worth their time. *Feedback - the owner was reactive to the situation and was kind enough to reach out and explain a few things. I appreciate any owner who is willing to take the time to either apologize or explain. This made a positive change in my outlook on the situation. I will likely give this salon another try in the near future.

My nails were done by Hana which is the only reason i will be coming back because her service was super amazing and her nail art was perfect! Exactly how i wanted... the problem i had was i got my toes done and i kept telling the worker i do not like my toe nails thick.. she proceeded to add more and more acrylic making my toe nail look chunky. I like my nail to lay flat and thin...my toe nail recently broke off and it looks horrible. The shape of the acrylic on my toe made me look i had ingrown toe nail and i could see where the acrylic began which just showed a lack of care to what i wanted..in total i paid 130 plus 20$ tip..just wish i had what i wanted if i pay that much.

I went to Nail Bar NOLA to get my nails done for my wedding. The experience was excellent from start to finish. Booking my appointment was so easy. I did it through Yelp and the owner replied to me right away. I also added my now husband to the appointment with no problem. The actual salon is beautiful and very well kept. The staff is friendly and goes above and beyond. They gave me suggestions for my nails and made me feel confident that everything would turn out great (and it did!). Before Nail Bar Nola, I tried 6 different salons in the greater New Orleans area, and none were as kind, professional & competent as Nail Bar Nola. Tu was my nail tech & she did a FANTASTIC job with my dip powder manicure. She was quick, so personable, and excellent at her craft. I always have had the issue of dip powder lifting after 8-10 days on my nails, however not a single one of my nails lifted after Tu did my nails! I highly recommend her, and Nail Bar Nola!

PERFECTION! I have been getting acrylics for 15 years and have been to countless nail salons in multiple states. This is by far my favorite. Lauren the manager is amazing and so personable! I don’t let just anyone do my nails, Tran is so talented I only go to her. It’s hard to find someone that can work with black acrylic and I’m super picky but she does an amazing job every single time! Don’t waste your time with any other nail salon. Nail Bar Nola is the place to be!

This salon is a must!!! I was lucky enough to get Victoria, and she was amazing!! She gave me an incredibly thorough pedicure, and a truly awesome lower leg massage!! I haven’t had a pedicure this good in literally 5 years!! They accept walk-ins, which is how I was able to try this place out!! They also offer mimosas and pink ladies to enjoy while being pampered. If I were in town longer than just another day, I’d get another one only because it truly felt amazing!! Victoria did a phenomenal job!! Thanks!!

The customer service is amazing. Ms. Jewel is just that, a true jewel and very rare. She has the most kind, hospitable, and professional attitude. I am in love with this salon. It’s even more beautiful in person and it smells amazing! My birthday is coming up and my husband wanted to treat me to a mani and pedi. What an incredible experience. The Valentino pedicure chairs give THE BEST massages ever, the nail artists are super talented, the owner went above and beyond to give me exactly what I wanted, and they even used Valentino acrylic for my pink and white set! I live for amazing salon experiences like this and they definitely delivered.

I’ve been coming to Nail Bar Nola for almost a year now, I have my favorite nail tech and she never does me wrong! However, Tran was booked this weekend so I got the pleasure of her sister Tu! Normally I’m hesitant about “the new person” but I swear Nail Bar never lets me down! Tu is incredible!!! I’m so impressed! Getting my nails done is my “pamper time” so not having to worry about ANYTHING while I’m here is so nice! If you live in New Orleans or are just here visiting you MUST treat yourself to Nail Bar Nola!

Fair service for the price paid, but didn't feel like a deal or even a great experience. Would go again if I had a $10 off coupon, groupon, etc. (Perhaps a discount for people who don't want the 2 complimentary drinks?) The foot/calf massage was VERY weak, even after I asked for a stronger intensity. It felt as if they were applying lotion rather than giving any sort of massage. I still have calluses on my feet after going - the buffing/scrubbing was neither intense nor thorough. They left my (male) toenails quite long, so I will need to cut them sometime in the next few days. They joked several times about painting my nails, but didn't do anything to replace the nail-painting component of the pedicure - simply finished a bit early and told me to wait for my girlfriend's toenails to dry.

As other reviewers mentioned, you can’t beat a glass of bubbles during a manicure. They really take the time to make everything perfect. I can’t recommend this place highly enough! Very sweet, communicative, and down to earth. I went back for a second visit and got a very elaborate design also done by Vicky. Vicky was even better the second visti. Waited a while to finally get in a chair and I had an appointment already prescheduled. Was promised a drink while I waited if I came early due to the parades which was not delivered on but they made up for it with the friendly staff and the champagne mimosas during my services. Quality of work done was very good, limited color selections for dip however. Overall very happy with the experience and worth the price while on vacation.
