I absolutely love Cindy’s Nail shop but hands down my favorite nail tech there is my girl Emily. Emily is the sweetest with such an amazing personality, she makes you feel right at home. Rest assured that you will always be satisfied with her work. She takes her time and makes sure she is putting her best work forward.

My friends and I decided to go here because they were the only nail salon we called that didn’t require you to make an appointment. It was my first time & we went on a Saturday. They were extremely busy (which was a good and bad thing). Since they were busy, I was under the impression that they were a good place to get my nails done, but that also came with a very long wait time for me and my 2 friends. I ended up getting seated and started on my nails before my friends who were just doing pedis. We were probably there for about 3 hours or so. They also prefer cash payments (not sure if it has always been like that) so they have ATM, but they do still accept card. Overall, I was happy with how Lynn did my nails! And, on a final note, they do serve drinks like water and wine!!

Great service. Beautiful nails. Free wine! I've heard good things about Cindy's and they didn't disappoint. Ms. Cindy and her staff were very friendly and were able to accommodate my-walk in gel manicure without hesitation. They even offered me free wine while I waited for a nail tech. Ashley was very meticulous and did a fantastic job on my nails. I was also able to get a decent spa pedicure last minute. It was only $50 for both! I will definitely be returning.

They did a great job with my dip nails. The nail tech was really nice and experienced. The only thing is that they used a new nail file on me and ended up cutting my skin from it. Other than that she did great.

Great prices, great service. I called in advance, and despite the salon being packed when I arrived they squeezed me in and I was out within an hour and a half. Got a dip manicure, gel pedicure. Very accommodating. Edit: My DIP nails did not last a week. Usually, when I do dip it lasts me a minimum of 3 weeks. I’m disappointed because the service was great but I won’t be returning.

Got my nail art done by Jenny, so happy with the service! I love nail art and was worried to find someone who would be happy to do it. I made an appointment, I’m glad I did because on a Thursday at 9am they were already busy. Save covid procedures with plexi glass and masks required. I also got a pedicure and was helped by rose and Cherry (I think that’s their names!). Very happy with Cindy’s and if you want nail art go to Jenny!

Im from out of town so i found this place on Google maps and we WERE NOT DISSAPOINTED AT ALL😍 FRIENDLY, PROFESSIONAL, AND FAST SERVICE AMD AWESOME JOB! We had a GREAT experience! Boyfriend and I went in 30 minutes before closing and they took both of us and did pedis and my nails and the Same time. The guy doing my nails was so patient about me cutting alot of length and changing shape due to work. He found my the colors I wanted and helped with design! My boyfriend LOVED his pedi and felt 100% better walking out! We WILL BE BACK😍

Everyone here was so sweet, accomadating, and extremely fair price. I spent $100 for a gel fill and a full pedicure ($20 for tip) and it was worth every penny. Love you all! ❤❤❤

I've found me a new favorite place. Went here a few days ago to get a Mani/pedi and eyebrow wax. They only charge $25 for gel nails and they do your Mani/pedi at the same time which is ectrely efficient! Getting your eyebrows waxed at nail salons is a big risk but the woman did an amazing job! All in all, I'm really pleased with the results. Picture is blurry but the color is "Rich Girls and Po' Boys" from the New Orleans collection.

My daughters and I have been going since the opening and now my son goes as well, sometimes without me. I drive pass several nail shops to get to this one. It's always worth it.

Just ok. It was crazy. I found a technician that I really like but she wasn't there....so Sad. The technician I had was ok. My Sister....not so much. Three technicians to do her nails? One started her nails got up and went to another client without telling my Sister anything . Every trip to NOLA when visiting my daughter I have to get my nails done. There is never an issue with waiting we are seated quickly in messaging chairs. The ladies are sweet and do a wonderful job. I would highly recommend

Unimpressive except for the pedicurist, Tracey. Even though I called ahead to see whether they had availability, I still waited in the pedicure chair for about 40 minutes. (Also, the employee who led me there just turned on the water and walked away, so I had to figure out how to turn it off myself to prevent it from overflowing.) Once the pedicurist came, she was great: highly recommend Tracey! Unfortunately the mani with Moon wasn't nearly as good. I had to remind her to clip a broken nail and to take off the rest of old polish; then she smudged a nail and fixed it poorly, basically by filling in the smudge with so much polish that it still isn't completely dry 3+ hours later.

Fantastic! Went for the first time and got a Full Set of French Acrylics for my hands and a quick pedicure. The service was great and I told them I wanted quick service (not a spa like, relaxing experience). They had someone work on my hands while I had the pedicure. I was seated in a chair right away, my nails and toes only took 30 minutes.

I stayed pedicure/manicure but first it took over 25 minutes for my pedicure to begin snd then I was carted off to a table for my manicure and have been sitting here for close to 45 minutes WAITING! Go here all the time for deluxe pedi!!! So great when it comes to the massage they give feet and legs! I love it!!! Since the remodel it looks so clean, fresh and inviting! New massage chairs are awesome as well!! I also really like that they take everyone's temperature and information for contact tracing during this covid-time.

My wife and I were staying at an Airb&b and it was suggested we come here for pedicures. It was a fantastic experience! Cindy truly knows how to run her business. Employees were very friendly and hard working! We were asked several times if we needing anything to drink and how the water temperature was. Very reasonably priced. If you are in this area...go here for sure!

I love this place. The staff is really nice and do a great job. I had a mani pedi and the whole thing was in the massage chair which is amazing ! They offer drinks sometimes like wine so you really feel like you’re having a spa day. It was a little crowded but they have put up plexiglass glass for each manicure table and also between the pedicure chairs. I will definitely be returning :)

Ive been going here for 3 years for pedicures and will never go anywhere else. It's the only place I don't get fungus in my nails because they use plastic bags in their good tubs. I have NEVER had to wait...except once during the week of Mardi Gras but even that was only 5 minutes. The staff here is extremely friendly, they do a great job and have a wide variety of polishes. The only complaint for me is that they don't do good acrylic nails so I go elsewhere for that.

The staff was real friendly, the inside of this place is real nice decorated with chandeliers, very clean and I was offered a drink when I sat down after I choose a color for my nails. Rose did my pedicure ,I LOVED IT but I wasn't satisfied with my full set... I cant remember her name, but she the acrylic was uneven and she did not follow instructions to fix the issue she just kept packing on product on an area that didn't need product. Its not too noticeable because I Chose a dark blue color any other bright color would display the imperfections of my full set. maybe she was just a bit inexperienced and young. My pedicure was lovely but my full set was not lovely... ill go back but I do not want the same person to to my refill.

All staff is super friendly and accommodating. There can be a bit of a wait if it's busy, but they always try to help everyone in a timely manner while providing excellent service. I've visited at least 4 times, including once with my mother, and each time has been exemplary. I now have a favorite nail salon.

This was my first time visiting and I loved it. Everyone was nice, my nail tech Linda did a fantastic job on my pedi. Cindy did my gel manicure and she too did a great job I was pleased that the gel wasn't thick. I didn't wait at all upon arrival I was able to get my polish and sit right down for my pedi with a tech there as opposed to letting me sit there to soak my feet while I wait for a tech. The only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars is because Cindy had to constantly leave my station because she was taking care of walk-ins and taking payments so it made my visit longer but in their defense it was an extremely busy day (Thursday) because of the essence fest/labor day weekend here so I do understand. I will absolutely go back again and again!

Great job, but all but one staff member that I've seen were a bit too rough when grinding on that lower [most sensitive] part of the nail which I believe would not happen you stay where to take your time a little more. Other than that my nails look great!

I've been going here every few weeks for a year, it's convenient, they're friendly, and they have the color change polish I like but honestly it isn't that great. They seem too rushed lately, my nails are chipped within a few days with gel or dip (granted I am hard on my nails). I've had a couple really bad experiences, one toe infection, bleeding from the rotary tool, and once they popped my dip off with an acrylic nail. It hurt and I asked him to stop but he said it was fine and I didn't know any better at the time. I had to regrow my nails for months after the damage. I kept going for the color change polish but finally gave up.

EDIT/UPDATED REVIEW March 2019: I went back to Cindy's after I heard they read my review and straightened up. I didn't say anything about who I was. I just went in and got my nails done. MUCH BETTER EXPERIENCE! The male employee was there and he was being professional this time. He didn't say a word about boyfriends etc. And my nails came out beautifully! I still am hesitant to get a pedicure again but at least I can say I do see improvement. So I'm changing my rating from 2 stars to 3 stars. Hopefully they can keep it up. PREVIOUS REVIEW/December 2018: No longer Cindy's! Now that there's a new Magazine street location, this place has gone all the way down. No more attention to detail. Rush jobs. They don't offer a drink anymore and they make up prices trying to overcharge. Then the only guy in there keeps rambling about boyfriends and makes me uncomfortable. This used to be a really nice place, but after my nails broke TWICE after only ONE DAY of getting them done AND my toes were infected, there's NO WAY I'm returning again. The staff is really nice but the quality of service is not worth it. It's getting harder and harder to find a nice clean PROFESSIONAL nail salon in New Orleans.

I would say this is fine, not good. I got my first set of acrylics here an my technician was very spacey. He kept looking around while buffing my nails, a couple time he hurt my finger so bad I had to pull away. He also put one of the tips on very crooked. He kept mumbling to himself the whole time. Meanwhile the tech next to me was very animated and was chatting with his customers. Not a great experience, but not awful.

The first time I came to Cindy’s my nails were in a pretty devastating state. Abuse via “locally-made” nail polishes, bartending, and pure lack of attention led me to realize I needed some self-love. My friend recommended Cindy’s and I don’t see myself going anywhere else in New Orleans again. Efficient, precise, accommodating, and skilled in service; this company also gives a friendly and hospitable (*cough* wine *cough*)service. They even have a fair price of $25 gel manicures that have left me feeling like a whole new woman! Uptown, yes, but worth the check-out 👌

We have been going to Cindy’s since the day it open over a decade ago, and also the new location on Magazine (much quieter), If you’re looking for a more relaxed environment. Carrollton location is super busy but the wait is doable, if that’s the case. Cindy doesn’t have dedicated staff working the front counter—so Cindy or another tech will blurt out a greeting from across the salon and ask what are we there for. Which at that point—everyone in the salon knows you’ve just walked in the door, and what you’re there for! Annoying! The service is mostly satisfactory when the tech is not distracted with who’s coming in and who’s going out. I think the atmosphere would be a lot calmer and quieter if the owner hired one person to work the counter, so techs (including Cindy), wouldn’t have to yell across the salon to assist new customers, stop what they are doing to take a payment or answer phones. I keep going because I can walk there, mostly good service and affordable. That’s it..I’ll stop the rant! :)
