I was recommended this place by my grandmother. Avalon is the only nail shop she is comfortable going to since the pandemic.Such a beautiful place with a nice atmosphere. All of the employees were very nice to me and my mother. The person working on my nails was very gentle with them and made sure I didn’t have any pain taking off the previous set. They also did the design I really wanted! I’m so happy I found this salon.

I love how they take walk ins and are kind & nice regardless of having an appointment or not. I have been here twice already and have not been disappointed! Love their nail art, time management and customer service. I am very picky with nails because I was raised around it (my mom is a nail tech) and I can definitely say my expectations were met 100%! Thank you Avalon for your cordiality and beautiful work!

It's a great salon. Not super fancy, but efficient. Started going to Avalon when my place closed. Glad the search wasn't to grueling. Good cleanliness, good prices. Seems like the best time to go is on Sundays before noon.

Recommend for traditional manicure. One of the best I've had. Nails have a special shine and their method for drying worked well. I will be back for sure.

Really enjoyed my experience for a mani/pedi. Quick and detail oriented. Dedicated to making sure nails came out right (even to helping me get my shoes off to make sure mani didn’t smudge!). Saw a review that you could walk in early on Sundays and took that route.

since the ownership has shifted, I find myself always come back here to get my nails done. prices are very reasonable. all the tech take their time in making sure my nails- I usually get acrylics- are perfect in shape and design. very friendly and simple small talk. never waited too long.

What the heck - I was literally amazed by how efficient and detailed the technicians are. I had a full set with colored gel french tips and it turned out better than I could’ve imagined. The technicians were very kind and accommodating. Great teamwork! Update: After coming here frequently, I’ll never willingly go anywhere else 😭 I love this nail salon!!

My toes look nice but they trimmed to much skin of the big toe and it hurts. Also i got my eyelashes done. I mean I got what I paid for I guess (25 for eyelash extensions)... they used drug store eyes lashes ), they look incredible fake and the glue they used is rubbing my eye lids raw. The person who did everything was really nice and I was in and out.

My favorite nail shop! Vanessa goes out of her way to not just do a great job, but to teach me what I should be doing at home for proper nail care. They do a great job w/ painting, shaping, and even relieving painful ingrown nail issues. You can just come in for foot massage too!

But these people were wonderful from the moment I walked in. They do an excellent job. From full sets to eye lash extensions, I couldn't be happier. I drive from the French Quarter just to go there.
