I came here with my sister a couple weeks ago to get our nails done for my wedding, and we had a great experience! The technicians who did our nails were friendly, kind, and incredibly talented. We opted for super simple gel manicures, and they put so much effort into making them look perfect for my big day. They've held up really well, and I couldn't be happier with the result. So excited to come back sometime for another manicure!

I was literally running around last minute and called about 8 different nail salons and none could take me. I’m so glad I stumbled upon Athenian because my experience was amazing. I was squeezed in at 7pm but I did have to wait until about 7:30 to actually be seen which is fine since they were accommodating me. Lisette took care of my gel polish change quickly and did an amazing job. The place has a full bar and it literally felt like a club which I loved. I will definitely be back!

My husband and I came for my birthday, he got a pedicure while I got a mani/pedi. Neither of us had come here before but 10/10 would recommend. If anyone goes, ask for Lizzie or Marlee, they are amazing and took such good care of us! We will definitely be back!

I had Nicole and she was lovely! She did my mom's nails the first time we came in September for my birthday and I will always request her. But tonight on new years eve as I was shocked to even get a last min appointment today I booked yesterday there is this poor woman Chassidy running around way overloaded. Please please please owners If you see this please give this hard working woman a raise. Look at the cameras and see all the running around she's been doing having to take care of her clients and the front and other clients other staff has but left without doing. She's doing 3 plus people's job and restocking and making drinks and refilling this becusse the people that left didn't bother to ask I'd anyone needed help and restocked things before they left. These ladies who stayed and worked through everyone else's clients becusse their technicians left is insane. They need to get a bonus or raise for their hard working efforts. They're doing their best to take care of us while running around doing a million other things. I will always be a returning client for the atmosphere and the great friendly service of Staff and cocktails. But please appreciate the great staff you have so they can stay and be here when we come back. Chassidy and Nicole are badass!!

I went to the other location about a month ago, and I was really happy with my nails. I decided to come to this location, because it's closer to my new place, and I was not disappointed! I got the Spartan pedicure and renewed my dip nail polish on my hands. I was very happy with the way they turned out. I hope to be back again in the future!

We are visiting from out of state and this place had good reviews and very professional website so we picked it for a pedicure day. It was fabulous! We had Anisha and Amie as technicians. Both were friendly, personable, thorough, and did a great job! We got the Alexandrian pedis, it was just over an hour and not rushed. Drinks were very good. Disposable tools and liners were used. Bathroom floor could use a detailed cleaning. I highly recommend!

Came in to get a pedicure for my birthday. Reven took very good care of me while visiting. She was not only extremely nice, she was very knowledgeable and educated me on pedicures in general. As a relatively nerdy person I appreciated this quite a bit. The place itself was extremely clean and everyone was helpful. Prices were fantastic as well. They deserve this review, but I'm trying to go back so everyone don't start showing up all at once!!!! I'll be back to see Reven for sure. Check this place out.

The prices are a little higher than most nail salons, but I feel like you're paying for the experience. The inside is set up like an actual bar, which is pretty cool. There's a limit on alcoholic drinks, but you get unlimited refills on the sodas and juices. The variety of sugar scrubs is amazing and they smell REALLY good. It's worth the money if you're looking for something more than a simple mani-pedi.

I have had a terrible time finding a salon I really like but after tonight I think I have found my salon home. Tia took extra good care of me and educated me along the way. Very good experience. Good customer service. They have a variety of colors to choose from to use for your nails. They have basic, gel, and dip in all their colors. Service comes with a complimentary drink. A group of 4 females went on a Friday evening at 6pm and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. They even gave recommendations on where to eat afterwards.

I have such mixed feelings about this place. First I want to say I enjoyed my manicurist her personality was great and she was super easy to talk to the manicure itself was decent not the best I've ever had but better than I can do myself. Here comes the not so good I booked a service on my birthday. The service didn't even begin until an hour and 10 minutes after my booking time. Before my service even started someone came over and told me that due to the inconvenience they would comp part of my service. I booked a mani-pedi and I knew that I wouldn't have time to finish it as I had a dinner planned for later in the evening. I opted to only get my pedicure and come back the next day for my manicure. I paid with the holiday card I had gotten and tipped at the front. I was told I would be all set for tomorrow to finish my service. I was happy with that and I came in the next day were for some reason no one had told the front desk staff that my service was already paid for. I felt super awkward and uncomfortable as the front desk person didn't seem to really believe me that I'd already paid for my serviceas. She gave me trouble in the beginning and then as I left she said I had to pay $20 extra. I again told her what I had been told the night before luckily she didn't buckle down but the exchange soured the good experience I had had. I probably will opt to go to a different place next time.

Been here a couple times and every time I am very happy. I have had a couple different people do my nails and all are very good. This past time I went I had an older gentleman so my nails. He was amazing! Paid super close attention to details. Spent a lot of time making sure my nails were shaped perfectly and my feet were hella smooth.

tl;dr I’m not going back. Dirty facility, sloppy tech, poor selection of colors. I was pretty appalled at how dirty the place was. I only stayed for my appointment because there were several of us, and someone else had booked it. I didn’t want to cause a problem. The floors looked like they hadn’t been swept in a few days, and the tables where they did pedicures hadn’t been wiped off all day. there was reside and little bits of stuff all over them. Even the pedicure chairs had visible debris on them. The sink where I was supposed to wash my hands partway through the manicure did not have soap or paper towels. My tech was nice, but sloppy. They weren’t busy, and it was 3 hours before they closed, but he cut as many corners as he could to get through the services as quickly as possible. He gave a really weak massage for both my feet and my hands, even after I asked him to use a little more force. He didn’t clean up the polish on my pedicure, there was still a bit on the skin I had to take care of once I got home. He didn’t ask about shaping my fingernails, I had to ask him to do it. He didn’t ask about the temperature of the hot towels, I had to tell him that they were too hot. I didn’t want polish on my hands, not even a clear coat, and he didn’t offer to buff my nails or put any oil on my cuticles at the end or anything. When I asked him about buffing them, he said he would but didn’t seem like he knew what I meant. He had already cleaned up his station while I was washing my hands, so have got a buffing block and gestured for me to give him my hand right on the dirty countertop without putting down a towel. I just thanked him and told him never mind. I just buffed them myself when I got home. On top of all this, they have a very disappointing nail polish selection.The colors are limited, and on my visit, the color I chose on the little board with all the fake nail tips (not sure what it’s called!) was very different from the polish in the bottle that the tech used. They encouraged me to use the board with the nail tips to choose a color, because they said it have a more accurate match. This happened to my friend who was with me as well, and hers was so different that she ended up choosing a different color entirely. I don’t understand how this place has such a high rating. It really disappointed me in almost every way that matters.

Pros: Staff was relatively nice and the place didn’t smell like chemicals. Their prices are listed up front. Cons: very pricey for a basic manicure & pedicure especially since both chipped within 24 hours. They also charge 4.5% for using a card. Overall, ok experience so average rating. I’d suggest maybe finding a more affordable place if you’re just looking for a simple pick me up nail day.

This nail spa was amazing, it barely took us five minutes to be seated.The drinks were nice to have while your nails are getting cured. Tia, my technician was very nice and she was able to do a plaid design for a holiday look! My experience was amazing and I if I come back to visit this area I will definitely consider coming by to get my nails done!

My nail artist was Tori and she did an amazing job. Great conversation while there, plenty of laughs. Throwback music is played all day long with music videos. Get treated like the Greek Goddess (or God) you are when you’re there! Would recommend and will return!

My boyfriend wanted to take me to get my nails and toes done, so we went and were there for quite some time to realize my dip and nail art isn’t even that good. One of the toes I got painted is already peeling after just 5 days. The dip looks messy on a few nails and where I got art on my nails, one of them looks like a bubble. So I’m not too happy with this place. If you want something simple I’d say go to them but the art and dip I don’t really recommend.

This place is super relaxing! I love the full experience that they offer. A bit pricey as they charge already around $99 for the full experience mani and pedicure and any added powdered or gel nails is more money. The shaping and tips are extra charges as well. The service you recieve is almost worth it though! I will say I love every step in the full experience and I would do it again for the price even though I think it's a bit much. The employees here are also very nice. I heard that they are starting a new point system, so I will definitely take part in that next time!

We were a Friday night walk-in and they were booked up, with only a 30 min gap. They understood that we (working moms that NEVER get to do this) we’re beyond desperate and they squeezed us in. The girls, although hurrying, never made us feel rushed and gave us the best they could with the time constraints. ***UPDATE*** I mentioned below how unsatisfied I was with my nails and the same day the front desk rep called me to see what happened with my service and offered for me to come in and they fix it for free! I definitely went back in, yesterday, and saw Nikki! She made sure to fix everything about my nails and I sure left satisfied! I’ll be back every other week to see her for my nails! This is an example of great customer service how they make sure you are satisfied! I’ve been to this location twice now. The first time I saw Nikki and she did a great job! I actually made sure to get her name so when I went back I could request her. However, when I went back I think I got someone by the name of Tan, or at least that’s what my text for a review said. He was okay. He did cool on my feet from what I can tell but in my hands, that’s another story. I got my dip taken off and put back on and he didn’t do the best! I can easily see how my nail surface isn’t smooth and it shows straight through my polish. It’s all on my cuticles as well which doesn’t look great at all. I’d go back but definitely not to him. This nail job makes me wanna take it off and get it redone. I feel like it was a waste of my money....

So I’ve been going here for a little while, the people are usually nice. The services have also been fairly good from what I’ve tried. The only unfortunate thing is if you try to book ahead and it doesn’t go through cause they are booked then you get no notice. So when you call at 6pm about the appointment you tried to book at 2pm, your kind is sol when everything else closes at 7pm. The prices aren’t bad, and the results have been good, but this is an issue for me on a personal level. A simple “sorry we are full” would have been nice at least.

I have been serviced here many time before but tonight was nothing short of amazing. My nail tech, Rosa, was absolutely amazing. Not only did she do a wonderful job on my pedicure but she was so nice it was unbelievable. She was extremely cordial and knowledgeable. First 2 visits were fine however the last was horrible: price misquoted and way too expensive not to mention 2 days later 2 fingernails and my big toe had polish chip off, the Special $$ shellac paint. They said they would redo within the time allotted however my mother was in town for a week and I was unable to do so. About $100 down the drain wasted oh well. Be careful, communicate thoroughly from the start, know what you’re paying for, and review receipt (breakdown). I believe they saw me as a mark that wouldn’t notice.

Came here on Friday for the first time. Was greeted right away and did not have an appointment, but they got me in quickly. The man who did my nails was great. He was quick, but did not rush, very gentle and he was patient when I took forever to pick out colors. I normally go to a different nail salon, but will be coming here from now on. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. My husband and I were in town on our honeymoon. I had an appointment scheduled while he went and did something else, but his thing got canceled. We showed up and explained our situation and they enthusiastically accommodated us both. Our technicians were friendly and we left feeling so pampered and so happy. The prices cannot be beat. If we are ever in the area again, this will be my first stop!

I called three times to the Anthenian Nail Spa on old hickory and I also text and left a message on Facebook. No one got back to me after about five hours. I wasn’t going to drive there after trying all those solutions. I had an idea to call the other location in cool springs and thankfully I did. Hannah, which was the manager ended up going above and beyond to get me an appointment. Unfortunately it’s at the old hickory location because I’m going to see Hannah from now on. She really deserves recognition for getting me one of the last appointments on Sunday. Go see Hannah at Cool Springs location she takes care of her customers.

I have only been twice now. Both times were around the holidays. I went based on a recommendation from a co-worker. They do really excellent work there and don't let you go until they are happy. I normally do dip nails and eyebrow wax. The drinks are a nice perk too. I enjoyed the flavored tea which can be naughty or nice depending upon services or personal preference. You can't make appointments but you can sign up for the fast pass on their website. It allows you to bypass any walk-ins who haven't signed up for services as long as there is a tech available within the 30 minute window you pick. I've never had an issue getting in right away. Another great thing is they have later hours than most places. Most nights they are open until 10 PM which for any girl working after 4 PM who wants a fresh set of nails done when a place closes at 6 or 7 PM is heaven sent.

They are nice but EXTREMELY over priced. Everything is an up charge- and not a $5 dollar up charge, we’re talking $15-$20 for a different type of polish. Mani and pedi was no better than any other place I’ve gone to. Staff was very nice but I think the prices over shadowed them

This place is absolutely amazing. Not only is the nail salon gorgeous and so relaxing but it has a full bar! This is a dream nail spa for any women or man. You can have a cocktail while being pampered... what is Better than that?? Their staff is incredibly helpful, sweet and are honest and upfront about your prices before you begin the services. Tan is absolutely amazing. He made sure I was well taken care and loved his services. Highly highly recommend!!

My friend and I went to this place. It took not even a five minute wait and was very quick. They have a very good variety of colors to choose from which was spectacular. They were very attentive while doing are nails and did not rush. They even do nail designs that you like which is pretty cool. I would reccomend going here is you are looking for a good nail salon. I went for the first time on 8/2/15. The space is gorgeous, neat, and clean! The entire staff is friendly!! LARGE selection of gel colors! Drinks are amazing! My pedicure is flawless. It was amazing! Staff was VERYYYY accommodating to my needs and ignorance as far as what would be best for me. It’s been forever since I’ve gotten my nails done so I was at a total loss and I took so long to even choose a color yet they were so patient and never showed a sign of irritation. I went here because they took online reservations and I had a large group. Had never been before. They were AWESOME. friendly, took us all at once, just great overall. The manicure I got lasted for A MONTH. I went to Asia, Cuba, Montana, and Miami all within that month with lots of salt water, hiking, and generally not manicure friendly activities. I could not believe how long it lasted and how good it looked. I wish I knew the girl's name who did my nails. Legitimately the best manicure I have ever gotten.
