First time here but they were really friendly, quick, affordable, & highly skilled!! I didn’t catch the name of the woman I saw but she saved me money by talking me out of replacing my current acrylic set with a full set, and she did a fill instead. They charge $45 for a fill and $65 for a few set. This design was $15 extra. I love that instead of up-charging me on the shape or how many colors I want like some of the salons in uptown or downtown do, she told me she could fix my existing set! Mind you my existing set was a disaster, with parts of my real nail exposed & they were incredibly thick & poorly applied. She spent the majority of the time shaping & refining my nails & it shows! I couldn’t be happier! Also the whole appointment only took an hour, plus I was a walk-in & they fit me in 45 min before close. Absolutely am coming back!!

The detail artists here have always given me exactly what I asked for. A week after my 19 y/o kitty passed away, I wanted a black cat inspired nail set and what I got was identical to the images I provided. My daughter got her first short acrylic set here and it lasted longer than expected. Boyfriend came in for a pedi during my set and then opted for a mani and went full color on a few nails because mine looked so good! They are always kind, it’s very clean and even if I have to wait, it’s never an issue for me. Having been to various nail salons before, I’m aware of what to expect and just go with the flow, be respectful and tip well. Thanks, ladies! I will be back for a fill soon.

It used to be enjoyable going to nail images but recently it’s been anything but enjoyable. The work is usually pretty good but the last few times I’ve had to ask that the shaping be redone on multiple nails. I hate to ask because it can seem like a burden but for $45 for a fill or $60-65 for a full set I’d like to like my nails. The price for a fill online says it starts at $28, I have always been charged $45 I’m not sure if the gel color is responsible for the additional $17 but it really shouldn’t be. There were multiple incidents that I remember but these really stuck with me. One of the last times I went my tech and another tech asked me if I was “the girl who always gets purple” I don’t so I asked for her to clarify but instead of an answer they giggled and talked between themselves, I left the appointment feeling like I had done something wrong. Another time I went in to get a fill and a woman came in about 10 minutes after me. My service started and she was asked to sit at a techs station, two or three more clients trickled into the salon over about 15 minutes. As the other clients arrived the original woman was asked to move from the station back into the waiting area. As she sat waiting each client who came in after her had their services started, she left after her 45-50 minute wait where she was not acknowledged by the techs. I don’t want to have to ask my nail tech to make my nails the same shape, and I certainly don’t want to leave feeling like a burden for having done so. To be fair I have had good experiences here and the nails last, something has changed in the past few of months that’s altered the whole experience. After my last appointment I felt the need to share.

This salon is a few minutes from my house so it is super convenient. They accommodate walk-ins even at peak times. The lobby can be full of waiting customers but there isn’t much of a wait due to how efficiently the staff work. Their hours are helpful with my work schedule across town so it is easy to get in for an appointment. My daughter, her best friend and I both have gone to this salon for years and they continue to offer new and edgy nail techniques for them to try. My latest appointment inspired this review because I cannot stop looking at my nails. They are perfect. It is a simple acrylic full set but the shape and smoothness show the care that Tammy A. took to do my nails. My cuticles are trimmed nicely as well. I’d like rate my experience as 7 stars out of 5. Thanks for the awesome experience.

I tried this location out after seeing really good reviews online and was excited for a really awesome experience. However I left feeling pretty disappointed. I would say overall the quality of my nails was, okay. She didn't do a bad job, but she was clearly rushing through the appointment.. I did not feel listened to or like it mattered that I had even made an appointment. I arrived early for my appointment and still wasn't even seated for an additional 20 minutes after my appointment time. Every time I tried to talk to somebody nobody listened and I was often spoken over when I tried to talk about what it was I came in for that day. When I emailed about my appointment online I specified that there was specific designs I wanted done and wanted to know for sure that they could be accomplished at this location. At no point did anybody actually talk to me about why I was there or what I wanted. When I tried to pull out my phone to show pictures of what it was I wanted my tech only looked at one picture for half a second and then proceeded to rush through removing my old polish. She then left and worked on a different person's nails for 15 more minutes before coming back and then just starting work without asking me anything. I had to stop her and show her and what I wanted and explained that I had picked out colors which is why the swatches were there in the first place. She seemed really annoyed with me about this too and I felt like this would be going better if anyone was listening to me or asking me what I want. By the end I was pretty disappointed in my nails, the designs were really basic but, they were technically what I asked for, and none of my nails were the same length one of them being twice as long as any other nail. I felt like this was obvious and did ask for them to be taken shorter but she barely filed them down. I tried to chalk it up to it being busy and having taken in a lot of walk-ins as well as appointments. But I felt the quality was really lacking as well as a poor customer service experience. When I make an appointment I typically expect to have my own nail tech working with me, not splitting their time between two people. I also expect to be looked at or in some way acknowledged when speaking to my tech especially when I asked ahead of time for a specific service. Again the nails were fine if I was looking for basic, but I was looking for something extra special and was left feeling very disappointed

I came here for the first time and I am still in awe of my nails! I never knew my natural nails could look this good. I got a dip powder manicure with Hannah, though I’m sure all of the technicians are great. Hannah was extremely thorough, took her time and I never felt like she was in a rush. She helped me pick out and customize my color exactly how I wanted it! Great service and very reasonably priced.

Made an appointment at 2:45. They let 2 other women without appointments go ahead of me and I have been waiting 20 minutes to be seen. They only have 3 people working and allow 6 people to come in at a time. Makes no sense. Nails took an hour and a half. ** It took me over an hour to get these nails off. They were so thick that I had to soak them in acetone for well over a half hour and even after soaking I had a hell of a time getting the nails off.

Hannah was amazing! My nails came out perfect and she took her time to ensure they looked great. Salon was clean and staff were very inviting and ensured I got the nails I wanted. Great pricing as well and not over the top like some other places. Definitely will be coming back here every time I need my nails done!

Pros: Very clean salon and welcoming atmosphere. Nail techs were friendly. Cons: oof, where to start. I think the main point that I want to share is that what I paid was NOT worth the experience and service I received. • We had to wait for our scheduled appointment for about 20 minutes after the scheduled time, despite having shown up early • Pedicure water was cold, I asked the tech if we could make it a bit warmer, she added about 3 seconds of warmth. • The manicure was SO disappointing. We did dip nails, the tech left them so thick that I had to go home and spend an hour filing them down myself to get some semblance of normalcy to my nail. • When she was done with the dip she just got up and walked away to another client. Didn’t tell me I was done, didn’t say thank you. She didn’t even give me lotion or cuticle oil! As I said. It wasn’t horrible, it was clean at least, but absolutely not worth spending $93 + a $20 tip for to go home and try to rectify the situation.

I came for the first time and thought it was a nice salon but I purposely came because the website said they take sanitation and sterization very seriously. My nail tech took her file and buffer out of her coat pocket and it looked filthy. The nail clippers were in her drawer. It did t appear that anything was sterilized. Too many places to choose from With better sanitization procedures.

Booked an acrylic fill online and it said $28 i choose a design and the woman doing my nails tried to charge me $70. I ended up with a basic french tip and paid $55. When i brought up the original price that i booked for they said it was actually $45, and that designs and changing of the shape were $5 which still didn’t make sense for it to be $70. Overall the nails were basic and not worth $55

Went here for a girls day and did pedicures and manicures and everyone was very professional and quick. Usually my nails never last more then a week with gel but my nails look amazing! Tammy did a great job and I will be back to see her again. It’s also very affordable. Highly recommend, but make sure to book an appointment if you go on the weekends since it gets busy very fast.

I have been going to Nail Image & Spa for years and I cannot say enough nice things about the salon and the women who work there. I have tried a number of places in my life time, however I have not found a salon the competes with Nail Image. They are professional, timely, affordable, always clean and go the extra mile to ensure you are happy with your service. The owner, Hannah took over the salon two years ago and does a phenomenal job (she has been working there for 12 years)! If you are looking for salon you can keep going back to, Nail Image is the place to go!

Hannah is the absolute best!! Always very punctual and professional. She gave me the best dip manicure I’ve ever had- it lasted 4 weeks with no chips or damage! I love this place! They do great acrylics. It’s hard to find shops that will file them as narrow as I like them. If you have a break, they fix it for free! Even if it’s 10 days after your set! Such great customer service :) highly recommend.

A very average experience. I moved to this neighborhood and needed a new salon. I went in for a gel manicure and somehow ended up spending over $50 for subpar nails. I had an appointment but the nail technician was doing a manicure for me and another person simultaneously. I completely get that they’re busy but it felt like I didn’t matter as a customer. The topcoat on a few of my nails is super thick, I can already tell it isn’t going to last. I posted pictures, you can see that there’s nothing really wrong but it also doesn’t look like time was spent making them look like $50+ nails.

I went here today for the first time as the other salon I used to go to has closed. I was able to walk in and be seen for a gel manicure in about 15 minutes wait time. Hazel was very professional and thorough and did a very nice job with my manicure. I liked that she used the foil and acetone to remove my old gel polish as this was less harsh than using the sanding burr exclusively. I also liked the atmosphere as there was a water bubbler going and a nice spa smell. I will definitely return!

My go to nail salon! I moved and still commute here to get my acrylics done. I normally find something wrong when I get a mani/pedi, but here I always leave obsessed. Not to mention, the value at such affordable prices is unbeatable. Every nail tech I've had is amazing and takes their time, I've never been rushed out. I can't recommend this place enough.

This Nail Images has been my go to nail place for over 11 years. Hannah one of top nail stylists has been there for 10 to 11 years and now she is the owner for the last two years. Nothing short but perfection from Hannah! I have had mixed feelings about full sets since a few bad experiences within the last year added some new doubt-- some were too thick, others sloppy. She brought me the best pillow since the back problems became apparent after driving over an hour and a half! Hannah was absolutely meticulous and gave me the most beautiful, modern french tip full set! I'm talking perfectly thin, natural acrylics shaped like nothing I have ever had before. When you have that idea of what you want when you go to the salon, you leave with exactly that-- nothing less. It is worth the drive and will be my go-to place every month!

I have been going to this salon for years. They are wonderful, though I go to Hannah exclusively. She is extremely thorough, kind and I always get an exceptional mani or pedi that would cost me a fortune elsewhere. I often get compliments on my nails and appreciate her willingness to try new things on my nails. They do accept credit cards, cash is only preferred. They will adjust their hours to meet schedule. You will notice a lot of ladies (and men) in the salon who want great service and results for a fair price.

Nail Images is the best in Edina. Hannah has been doing my nails regularly for 8 years now. I travel to other cites and pay triple the price and it’s never as good as what Hannah does. I used to go here all the time when I first started to get acrylics because it is walking distance from where I live. At first I thought they were great and I really liked them! And they cut me a couple of times and made my nails really uneven and really thick and some really thin. But like I said, I didn’t ever really notice, or if I did I didn’t really care. Because like I said, it was my first times ever really getting acrylics. But then I went to a very professional nail salon and I relished how choppy and bad my acrylics were from this particular nail salon. And one day I decided to go to this nail salon one more time and get a fill because they wouldn’t be starting a new set so I thought it would be fine. But when I asked for a fill they told me that they couldn’t? And would have to get a new set? So I mean, I was already there so I said ok. When it came to the nails shape, I asked for coffin shape. She said that they only do round or square. So I said that was fine and asked for squad. Then before I got my old nails off to get the new set, I thought she would have known that my nails would be really thin and sensitive sense I’ve had the other acrylics on. But no. She shaved then down so, so, so, much. It hurt so bad, and I told her that I hurt and she didn’t really Seem to care. Then it came to cutting and shaping the plastic nail. I usually get them at lease an inch long and told her that. But she cut them really, really short. And I asked if she could make them longer in anyway and she told me that they would look longer when the gel powder was on. So I said ok and she started to put the gel powder on. They didn’t look any longer. So I was sad about that. And when it came to the filing to shape them some more. She kept filing them down, down, down, and they where almost to the tip of my finger. I usually get them at lease an inch long like I said, so I made me kinda mad. Anyway, when they where completely done, they were very uneven and very thick, they were also very sore. And all the nails fell off about four days and took half my real nail with them. Two of my nails are completely gone. This is not the first time this had happened ether. I would not recommend them for acrylics like my story explains, but they are really good with just a paint or gel. They make really pretty designs and are very welcoming and nice. Their nails salon is very well kept and clean. I would just NOT record them for acrylics.

I came to this salon with my friend, it was my first time here and I loved it. My only complaint would be that the employees were constantly speaking in Vietnamese to one another. This was distracting and took away from the relaxation experience I was hoping for!

Pay the 11 dollars more and go to spalon montage for a gel mani.

Editing a previous review. I think this place is kind of a 50-50 shot at having a great experience now. It can be good or bad - and my recent visit on 5-15-14 was one of the bad ones. My feet are scuffed on top because of the heavy filing they did to get nail polish off of my toes (I literally have scabs on two toes and scrapes on the top of my foot). My friend complained that her "warm" towel was way too hot, but they left it on her skin anyway. A girl across from us was scalded by the hot water when they rinsed the exfoliating scrub off of her legs. I think they were just having a bad night. I'd still go back to give it one more shot because they do kind of let you just enjoy yourself while everything is going on and don't force conversation if you want to read or visit with a friend, and I like that. They are still CASH ONLY - so have funds on hand!

Got dip nails. The shape was awkward and she started the bonding liquid at the nail bed, which gave an unnatural shape to the nails. She also dipped the nails directly into the container instead of separating it, which is the standard practice.
