We love this tanning salon! We get a package before every tropical vacation. The owners are so personable and the staff is knowledgeable and polite. The rooms are clean, machines are easy to use and the bulbs are good - it’s a plus that they warn you if a bed has brand new bulbs. They have a great variety of lotions and bed levels and options! I’m always happy with my tan. Back in the day, I worked at a small business tanning salon for 4 years that has since closed it’s doors, so I feel like I have even higher standards than the average tanner. Highly recommend!

At The Beach Tanning has been great from the start 20 years ago! You can count on meticulously clean beds and a friendly staff. They use high quality bulbs and beds, so you will get better results than other salons. Best salon in the area hands down. Give them a try!

The tanning services are great there but the workers and management is what really makes the best tanning salon! It keeps my family and I coming back for years!!! They are always so helpful whether discussing a time, lotion, or new bed. They are all so friendly and you know they truly care about their customers because even if it's been well over a year of stopping in, they somehow remember you!

The guest service is stellar!! The owners husband and wife go above and beyond to accommodate whatever you want or need! They answer any and all questions and make suggestions on what will work best for you. You walk in and they know you by name!! They make you feel so welcome!!! Fantastic place and kudos to you guys!! Thank You For All You Do!!! 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀 Oh and the beds are also awesome! They keep up on changing their bulbs! I have never had any kind of issue with bad beds here!

I have been a loyal customer for years! I have tried other salons and I have always come back to At The Beach. Not only do they have great beds, that are always clean and well maintained. They also have by FAR the BEST customer service I have experienced, not just in tanning. But in ANY establishment I have ever been to. Which says a lot. I went to another salon to try spray tanning. At The Beach then started offering spray tanning and I was blown away!! I love it!! I was using the Mystic spray tan at another salon and after being in At The Beach's spray tan, I now call it the Mystic Mistake!!! I truly believe in supporting family owned businesses. Those that continue to work hard and achieve their American dreams instead of these corporation and franchise chains taking over. This is a family owned business, and it shows in their customer service, their passion for what they do, attention to detail and truly caring about their customers. I can not say enough great things about At The Beach. Its why I used to drive all the way from Oak Grove just to tan there. Because I could not give my business to anyone else knowing it would never meet my expectations. I am still a loyal customer and have been for 16 years!!! If you don't use At The Beach for your tanning needs, you are truly missing out and I feel bad for you! Get your butt over there and try it out! I highly recommend their spray tanning!! It is WAY better than any other spray tan I have every used. And their tanning beds are great too!! But the best part of At The Beach tanning, is the people that own and run it!

How do I even start... This is the best experience in tanning that I have ever had. I have been to many tanning salons in my time but non have equaled the service and results that I have received from At The Beach Tanning. They always are really friendly and Very knowledgeable. They always have new bulbs in their beds. This definitely shows me that they are supplying a quality product. Other salons that I have been to apparently do not change theirs enough. After going to John and Monique's salon they have informed me more on tanning than any other salon. If you ever need a QUALITY tanning salon, At The Beach is the place to go. If there were 10 stars I would give them 11!

Fantastic and amazing small business! The owners are amazing friendly and knowledgeable. Tried a different shop in Circle Pines and they closed their doors leaving me with no refund on my payments. At the Beach gave me 5 free tans and ask that I come back if I liked it. Well I have now been a Costner for 3 years. Wouldn't go to any where else! Can't recommend them more!!!

I've been tanning there for 15 years!! I can honestly say I look forward to going there every single time, not only for the amazing tan I get but also to just chat with John and Monique! They are such kind hearted, honest people... which is hard to find these days in the business world. It says a lot about a business and the owners if you're able to be successful this many years and still have your business growing! I would highly recommend them!!!!

I have been coming here since they opened. That's 16 years!! Everytime I walk in I am welcomed with a friendly smile and because they are family owned most of the staff knows my name. They have upgraded and remodeled the salon through the years and everytime it gets better! I am a customer for life and I would absolutely recommend At The Beach to anyone!! Keep it up!! Much love!

I really like not having to call and make a appointment. They always have a bed available. I particularly enjoy the Mad Max bed. I have had great results by following their recommendations. The customer service is outstanding and tge location is very convenient!!

Got a spray tan for the first time ever, because i'm pregnant and whiter than all get out. The women here were so kind and patient at explaining everything and going through the process. The tan looked great and the color was a natural tone. Just remember to slather that barrier cream on your nails and palms of hands. The machine does talk you through the steps, but I was a little overwhelmed with all the info being my first time. I would definitely go back.

When another tanning salon writes a 1 star review like Tracy Johnson did on our page and then tries to advertise on my page for her salon, I think that is a desperate move on the other salons part. As you can see our wonderful tanning salon @ At the Beach tanning has glowing reviews and only a desperate tanning salon owner would try to advertise and give one star on a competitors page. What does that say about that owner? I will leave it at that and just read what real customers have said about the BEST tanning salon in the area. Check us out on Facebook for specials. We change our bulbs more often than any other salon guaranteed. We have 6 different beds to choose from and the #1 rated NORVELL spray tan booth on the market. This is 100% better than the Mystic booths. We have been here 17 years with the same owners unlike the other salon who has had 7 different owners in the last 10 years and each of them closed the doors without any refunds.

Best tanning salon around! I use to pay way more $ going to ultra tan and didn't get even half the tan I get from At the beach! John and Moniqe are THE BEST owners you could ask for, very friendly and nice. It's a home away from home place =)

Since I've moved into this area I've used this place once a year as a nice treat to myself and I would certainly recommend it to anyone looking to tan. Prices are very reasonable, everything is always clean and everyone is always happy to help. The bunch of times I've been there I've honestly never had any sort of issue. Will be back next spring!
