This is my 6th tattoo and Louisa is the 4th tattoo artist I've worked with. The studio is very private, professional, and welcoming! While all artists I've worked with are great, Louisa was probably the most personable and made me feel so comfortable (I still get anxious every time I get a tattoo!). I asked her to fix an error on another small tattoo next to my newbie, and she touched up the entire piece without hesitation. Her linework is so delicate and precise, I am absolutely obsessed and will hopefully return!

I had a great experience at Bluebird! Ashley is extremely talented; I am still thrilled every time I look at my tattoo—the artwork is precise and clean. Ashley made sure to clarify what I wanted in my tattoo and made sure I was comfortable throughout the duration of my appointment. Additionally, the boutique itself was clean and everyone was very welcoming. I would highly recommend Bluebird to others, and will definitely be returning myself for future tattoos!

Lyndsey has of course done a wonderful job on my eyebrows and I couldn't be happier! It's amazing to wake up and not have to draw on my face everyday. I could rave about my eyebrows forever but the focus of this review is the tiny tat shown below. I am heavily tattooed and have been going to Louisa for some time now. I love learning about the process and what better way than to volunteer to be Lyndsey's first tiny tat client! I love these women and the knowledge they share with each other. It's refreshing to be around women who encourage each other. Lyndsey drew this little gem by hand and I couldn't be happier. It has such an organic vibe and to know that I was able to provide her with an opportunity for professional growth makes my heart so happy! This girl is going places, whether it be makeup, permanent makeup or tattooing. She is driven and eager to ensure that you leave happy with the artwork she has created for you. This was my first tattoo and I really wanted to go somewhere that specializes in fine line artistry. The studio is very classy and provides a very calming experience. The atmosphere of the studio and Louisa made me so much less nervous. Louisa was amazing, she was so supportive and made me feel at ease. The studio was clean and everything was done professionally and in a timely manner. The tattoo itself was exactly what I had pictured in my head, but couldn’t put into words! Very detailed and sharp lines. I had a great experience and will definitely return in the future! I never write reviews so this shows how much I loved this place!

I was here today for a touch up to my eyebrows. My face was severely burned years ago and Louisa was able to give me perfect eyebrows, I get so many compliments on them. I absolutely recommend Bluebird Ink to trans masc people seeking nipple/areola tattoos after top surgery. Everyone is so nice and considerate, the communication is amazing and the results are so good. As an autistic person, I get a lot of anxiety about new places and experiences, but all my questions were answered and my sensory needs accommodated graciously and I was never treated like a burden. The studio is very calm and welcoming and pleasant, which surprised me a little because "calm" isn't a word I would use to describe other similar businesses I've been to in the past. If you're wondering whether to give them a chance, I highly recommend it!

I got a tattoo in a typewriter font that says “grace” and I love it! Louisa did an amazing job with it. The lines are so clean on it. She’s also an amazing person! She was so kind. She also took time to make sure my tattoo was perfect for me in size and placement. She suggested placement adjustments based on what she knows about specific positioning in the specific body area. It was also like being with a friend the whole time because she was so kind. We moved to Louisville recently and she gave us a bunch of restaurant and activity recommendations in the area. Love her and her work and will definitely be back for future tattoos!

I got a large tattoo that took about 5 hours and the time went by so fast. Louisa is an amazing artist and the moment I walked out of the shop I was getting stopped by people saying they love my tattoo. I first met Louisa when she did my tattoo about 8 months ago. Her shop is gorgeous, modern and so clean. Last night, I went to her apprentice, Lyndsey, to have my permanent eyebrows done. She was so friendly and bubbly and did an amazing job. She had such attention to detail. I wouldn't recommend anywhere else to have tattoos or permanent makeup done in Louisville. A+ work!

After going to some shifty tattoo parlors I walked in and felt right at home. Mind you I flew in from PA walked right off the plane and into this studio! The studio is warm and inviting and just makes you want to be there. Louisa is not only a pleasure to talk to but her work is outstanding! I not only immediately felt comfortable in the clean, trendy, unique atmosphere that is Bluebird but I also was quickly at ease with Louisa and Lyndsey. Lyndsey was my artist and I cannot say enough good things about her work as well as Louisa’s guidance and honest opinion during the session. The process was far easier and less painful than I was anticipating. Lyndsey’s light touch and their use of numbing solution making the painful part virtually painless. I have had so many compliments since having my brows done, I do not hesitate in telling them they need to make an appointment as soon as possible! It was most definitely one of my wiser decisions where my self care and beauty is concerned. A woman with beautiful eyebrows is confident in herself as well as easy to admire. Not to mention it’s a lot easier to know when I am surprised or angry now hahaha. If you’re on the fence in regards to pursuing permanent brows, fear not, take the leap! You will not be disappointed!

I went the first time and got a tattoo with one of my best friends who is in from out of town and then I ended up loving it so much that I came back to get my eyebrows done. The whole environment is so welcoming especially for women; every time I’ve been in other tattoo businesses it feels just a little bit weird (aka intense rage music and mostly men) this was the first time I felt really comfortable plus everyone who works there is a blast if you’ve ever considered a tattoo or we’re thinking of having your eyebrows done absolutely go to bluebird Ink!

My appointment was with Lyndsey. She is easy to talk to and she truly customizes your brows for you and your lifestyle. I was nervous to begin with but by the time we were finished I felt like I was at a friend's house. It wasn't painful and I love my new brows. I highly recommend Bluebird Ink and Lyndsey. If you've been wanting your brows done, this is where you need to go. I will update as I go along and after my touch-up. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
