Amazing spa day. Everyone was friendly and offered me everything I needed to be comfortable. Kayla gave me a wonderful massage and was very attentive to what I explained were the areas I had the most pain. The atmosphere and refreshments were great and it was all very relaxed with no rush and great service for the money. I will certainly be returning.

This spa always treats you with class, before and after your treatment. I had a facial by Mia and she was absolutely wonderful. She was personable, considerate of my needs, funny and an all around great esthetistion. She made me feel comfortable even when my skin was very angry and painful, she helped alleviate some of the stresses and I see an improvement! Will definitely see her again 🤍

Probably one of the worst gels I’ve had done in a while. Photo is from x6 days after… didn’t even last a week. They kindly re-did both of my thumbs because those peeled off after 4 days. They sanded down the gel with an electric sander… did not soak off which further weakened and damaged my nail and one of the thumbs they fixed completely snapped off the next day from being sanded down so heavily for the repair. I do think this shop would be nice for a standard (non gel) pedicure because those last a while (for me at least)no matter what. I just would not come back for gel. I will say on the plus side this is a nice location right on the beach. The people who work here are nice and they give you a free coffee/ tea or wine with your treatment.

We booked a couples massage during our stay in the area for a wedding. We're from the DC area where we have high end salons and spas - but NOTHING LIKE THIS for the price. We've even paid triple the prices and received nothing on the level of service you can expect from here. If you live here and aren't coming here all the time you are doing yourself a disservice. I would go out of my way to come back to this place anytime I am in the LA area. This place is a gem. Fresh coconut water from real coconuts, the best massage of my entire life (and better relief that my chiropractor), and incredibly kind and caring staff. I wish I could go home to a place like this. Makes me sad we don't have this place at home. This place is a Gem. It's clean and tidy and very relaxing. Book now.

From start to finish this nail salon has it figured out! My husband Craig & I took his mom who was visiting L.A for a little pampering, figured we'd try this place out since it has excellent reviews. Thao was so nice and did an excellent job for my mani & pedi, it came out looking so good and clean, I felt very relaxed and refreshed after. Thao made sure I was comfortable the entire time and was very thorough with her work. They took such AMAZING care of us, even after I was finished and waiting for my husband and his mother to be done with their mani&pedi (which they also throughly enjoyed), Tracy came around and was so nice and friendly, she brought me fresh ginger lemon tea, with some grapes and strawberries . This place truly understands making their customers feel welcomed and appreciated, all while offering great esthetic services for a very reasonable price. Will always come back here from now on.

Very nice salon! I walked in and got an appt for a mani+pedi $55 with Tiffany. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and my mani pedi came out great. I enjoyed that they did my mani while I was still in the massage chair rather than having me go the mani table. It was way more comfortable that way!

I've done some funky looking metallic and cat eye polishes here. Keep going back for their selection of colors and relaxing atmosphere. I do wish the pricelist was a little more straightforward, I'm never quite sure what my total will be.

This nail salon is a hidden gem in Venice Beach! Upon recently moving to the city, I was disappointed in the ridiculous prices of most salons in the area. Venice Soleil has incredibly reasonable prices and a number of membership deals to take advantage of. Beyond that, the staff is friendly and the salon is clean and inviting. I received an excellent acrylic nail gel manicure. I was also offered water and champagne during my visit- something I greatly appreciated. On my way out, the owner gifted me a flower from the front desk- something sweet to remind me of the hospitality this city has to offer. I will definitely be back!

Easily one of my favorite spa experiences ever. You feel so welcome and taken care of. I got a Swedish massage and an hour long facial. I loved that the esthetician doesn’t treat you like a glass doll when working on your skin. You get fruit and tea/water prior to your appointment, and even fresh coconut water at the end. I’ve been to fancier spots where you barely even get a drink beforehand. I hope to come back again soon.

Went to get a pedicure almost a month back, and their service was absolutely superior. The music, the massage chairs, the politeness of the entire staff. Joycie runs a tight ship and she even gave me an extra service at no extra cost because of a misunderstanding on my end. Top tier spa, highly recommend, definitely can’t go wrong by going to Soleil. I will be continuing to go there for all my gfs and mine future spa needs

Loved the salon and the workers.... HOWEVER, the owner was there the entire time and he kept reprimanding staff in front of customers.... he is too involved and makes the salon uncomfortable. The staff were wonderful and my nails are literally perfect.... it would have been a nicer experience though if he had not been there. My massage and facial were also fantastic and everything was worth every penny.

Totally worth the price, everyone is so kind and my regular manicurist Thao is the best. Shes helped me grow out my nails and keep them healthy my natural nails are starting to look like acrylics. I was visiting for my bday and could not find anyone to put jewels on my nails! I had went to several nail salons in the area only to find this one! I walked up and they were jammed packed but they still put me on the schedule I came back and it was time to close almost but they still did my nails and a lady massaged my feet, I ended up getting all of my services done and they took their time and made me very happy for my bday! the price was so reasonable surprisingly for california near the beach, i got everything I had been looking for, everyone was so nice and professional and comforting. I really appreciate them! check them out the next time you are near the venice beach!

First time going, appointment was for 12:15, I was seated in a chair and wasn’t approached by anyone until 12:35. The drink offering was nice, the place seemed clean. However, the swatch colors looked nothing like the final result. Gel shellac ended up with a bumpy and sticky texture to it. The guy doing my nails seemed very frustrated when I asked about the bumps he left, redid it but made me uncomfortable enough to not want to go back. TLDR: For the price of mani/pedi of over $100, I would go elsewhere.

I’ve been getting my manis and pedis done here for several months now. The owner is very friendly and ensures that everything and everyone stays safe and follows all safety procedures set in place for covid. Kathy is amazing! She takes her time and is very meticulous in her work. My gel mani lasts weeks every single time. I can’t say enough about her. While the price is a bit more than I used to pay at a different salon, Kathys work is worth every dollar.

I received a gel manicure and pedicure, which totaled out to $101, exactly. Pretty pricey, but standard for that kind of service. John the owner, is very gracious, so that’s a plus. What I was not a fan of, was how rushed my manicure was. For $40, I would hope that more time and care would be taken. It just seemed as if the tech (May-Lee? My-Lee?), had somewhere to be, like yesterday. She was nice, but my second hand came out super dull looking. I could have complained, and I should have, but I was pressed for time, and just had zero confidence in the place by that time. I will not be returning, and instead be going back to Natura in Santa Monica.

Couples massage: The experience was ok, I felt very uncomfortable being upsold at every interaction. I’d pre-paid and made an appointment so it felt… desperate. The services themselves where great. Good pressure, not painful and clean space. Although It’s hard to relax when someone is asking you to buy more time Or buy a membership. I would’ve come back based in the massage alone. Let your services speak for themselves There was fresh fruit and fresh coconut post massage which was a lovely touch. But the constant up selling pre- and post massage makes this place a bit too thirsty for my comfort.

The only time I’ve had an issue with my gel manicure, I went back and every one was so understanding about it and offered to do it all over. Mimi did it and this time it was perfect as usual. I always come here and usually get good quality nails for the steep price I pay.. this time I am completely over nails. I got acrylics with sharp blue tips which cost me a steep $75 I was at the salon for 3 hours and I’m just over it at this point so I paid and left. My nails lasted a week. Every day they pop off because of how thin they were made. Which is so frustrating. I also got my toes done which costed me $50 for French tip which also lasted me less then a week. For the price I paid I felt like I could have gotten better quality.

Great experience- 15 bucks for a regular manicure and they spent an hour on me. Offered water or tea on arrival and had fresh lemon and lime in it. Very friendly staff and welcomed me even though I came in about 30 minutes before closing. Overall best nail salon experience in LA so far and the cleanest by far. Decor is also awesome and relaxing.

It was a very nice place and relaxing. The hand massage was amazing. Only thing I struggled with they were quite aggressive on my nails getting rid of cuticles which left them feeling sore for a little while. The choice of complimentary drink was a nice touch but the cup size was so small it seemed like a wasted effort. I'd consider coming back here as the end result looked nice. Not overly impressed. Pedicure polish was rough and bumpy to the touch and nails uneven. Gel mani is sloppy - a few nails are so thick they’re wavy on the edges, and others have little imperfections. To be fair, I didn’t point out my disappointment or ask them to fix anything while I was there because I didn’t have time for a redo, so I don’t know how they would have handled it. The techs and front desk were friendly but service was not worth the price. I would not go back.

Special spot! Not only do they do a really great job with nails (and, how many places can you say that about? Most places are just okay), but they have great massage chairs, and give you a beverage of your choice (and have a drink menu). They also offer facials (I haven't tried one yet) and massages (Keith is amazing, I highly recommend booking a massage with him) upstairs in their spa. Friendly, talented people, and great customer service all around. I see why they have such a strong neighborhood client base.

I just experienced ultimate day spa bliss. A 60 min. massage, dip manicure and pedicure. I was in heaven the moment I walked through their front door. John and Tracy are the classiest, most detail oriented, customer service oriented business owners I have encountered. I was presented a long stem red rose after my incredible massage with Keith. He soaked and cleaned my feet in their relaxation lounge while I sipped tea and nibbled on fresh fruit. His work on my neck and shoulders was EPIC, and I loved that he listened to my specific requests. The outdoor patio that looks out onto Venice Beach is the perfect place to relax post- service. Connie and the other beautiful lady that did my dip manicure were professional, kind and extremely detailed in their work. I will be back every 3 weeks and enjoy being treated like a Queen at Venice Soleil. Having worked in luxury spa management for years, this spa exceeded all my expectations. Average quality, noting really bad, but typical stuff you get in most places around US. My companion was cut during the manicure. The staff is very nice, even though you won't be able to communicate with everyone easily. If you need to give special instructions this becomes a bit difficult. The receptionist was confused but for us everything worked out fine with the schedule. The OPI collection seems to be very old, the stuff will push you to use the other brand they have.

Great service! They offer you tea/water right when you get in, there are multiple people working on you at once, I really felt pampered! Only complaints are that the staff was unorganized, as they kept switching who was painting my nails, even in the middle of doing the same finger which was confusing. Overall, good experience, I would come again.

I've come here 3 times, and I've never been wowed! My nailpolish smudged within 5 min of being out the door because they layer it on so thick! Lots of nailpolish but a lot of it is old and thickened, the ladies constantly talk in a foreign language which can be irritating especially when you mention that they hurt you in the cuticle removing process and instead of saying sorry they start talking in their language together. You feel rushed, which is why I was out the door before my nailpolish dried, because they started putting in my shoes (hint hint). Not to mention the edges of my nails weren't filed properly, some sharp corners, some hangnails not removed. I've had to ask for their attention on a few issues like that. And they go through kind of a half hearted routine that doesn't make sense, at one point my hands were dipped in a Hot water bowl and a white bristle brush lightly brushed my knuckles ? One stroke, and my hands were switched? What's the point of that? Surface scrubbing on the bottom of my feet so the dry skin I was hoping to get rid of - still there. It's pretty frustrating walking out of there noticing polish smears that were not removed from my fingers and hands and then polish melting off and smearing cus it was laid on so thick, not cool at all. You go here cus it's cheap, not quality. They have the look of quality but not the service. I would only go back for ... Well I'm not sure I'll ever go back because I can probably give myself a better mani pedi at home and save $40, splurge on polish instead.

This was my first time at this salon and I really enjoyed myself getting a gel manicure and pedicure! Everyone really took their time with their work and was so detailed!

I stopped in here while in town for a regular manicure which lasted about 45 minutes — pretty long for anyone who's just getting a simple mani. The manicurist took her time and did a great job on the polish. They use high-quality (Aveeno) lotions and super clean utensils. Prices are a little higher than I'm used to in NYC but $12 was fair for the experience.

Love,love,love taking care of nails, toes, feet! It is also the way which you love yourself. I found a wonderful place to do all of them. And it is Venice Nails Spa & Salon, very clean and decorated beautifully. There is a modern and useful system of equipments. The technicians do massages skillfully and enthusiastically. People talk to each other openly.The price is ok. Besides, everytime when i go back from this salon, my nails are more and more perfect. I like it!

Great little gem of a location in Venice with a gorgeous spa upstairs. Mia is fantastic! I was able to do nails and waxing with her-and she was amazing at all of it. They gave me a fresh coconut normally reserved for their massage clients too…
