The service is EXCELLENT! Very good manicurists & wonderful customer care. I recently moved to LA and tried so many shops from very high end to very low end. Polish + Paint exceeds them all! Although they’re very busy, they have lots of staff and I’ve never had to wait more than a few minutes. Also their prices are GREAT!

Decent place but pricey could use a bit of a clean up. I continue to go here even though they charge more and more every time. Their pricing is not fixed so they can up charge you whatever. For example I have hard gel. they said hard gel mani $55 fill $30 yet when I go to get a fill they charge $55 dollars no matter what. Need to invest the time in finding a place with more consistent pricing. Without every little thing being an up charge for example a mani is 30 but if you want your nails and cuticles trimmed it costs 40 cannot seem to get out of there without spending $120 or more. Also bring cash there is a fee for cc use.

Always very crowded! You are PACKED in there. I suggest to have an appointment but you can usually make one the same day. I fell it is also very expensive. Expect to spend over $120 on gel mani/pedi here plus tip. Helen is a very good artist who can do many trending designs but you have to know exactly what you want and have a picture. Don't expect to them to bring the inspiration, want to try something new or be creative. You can tip through venmo. They take credit cards and apple pay, Samsung pay and they have an ATM. Parking here can also be very crowded with all the other businesses in the same shopping center.

Note 5 days later and they still look amazing. Beautiful Tray-Chella themed birthday nails by Peter! I've always come into this place for about 6yrs now on and off and this was my first time getting Peter. I showed him inspo pics and I was lowkey all over the place. But he laid it out and told me what he could do realistically with the products they have. Keep in mind ladies that no artist can replicate an exact design but they can make their own version. Pics are just for inspiration and this is me speaking as an artist myself. Overall I rate Peter high as the length was on point, the shape, curvature, and design all came out perfect.

Love it. All the technicians do an awesome job. You usually pick one at your nail spot. But I just cant they are all great and dont have to wait for your favorite nail lady. Because they all exceed your expectations. Love love love. My go to spot.

I went there one early afternoon I had a party to go to an I said try this place you are right here, waited afew minutes and the took me in Tiffany ask me what type of nails I wanted I said very short, she finished me in 40 min I was surprised the new process was nice not alot for filing your nails . They turned out nice and I will go back, note they are really busy on the weekend the parking lot is small but it is worth it I live my nails.

I really like how clean this place is. I paid $110 + pedicure for this set plus tip. Brandy is de definently my go to for a pedicure. She leaves my toes really clean and my feet really smooth. She takes her time and I really feel like I'm getting pampered and getting my money's worth. This nail set was done by Rachel.

It was my sister’s birthday and one of her wishes was for me to go with her to get a mani-ped. Don’t get me wrong, I take care of myself. But it was merely for the meme. So I’ll start by saying that parking is tough. You’ll have to be patient unless you happen to come on a good day. Tip #1, wait in the handicap spot for a few minutes but leave your car on Incase you need to move. I reversed in so that I can have full view of when a parking spot opens up. Took about 10mins max. As for the service, I don’t really know how to rate it cause yeah I’m just a first timer. I ended up just getting my toe nails cut and feet cleaned + massaged. My feet have never felt so smooth. & there you have it. Tip #2 the hot dog place next door is FUEGOOOOOOO 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

I used to love this place so much and I would recommend it to family and friends. Some of my friends still come here and myself, but the reason I give it four stars is the lady with red hair (Not Mary) but the other one. She is always so rude and unorganized. One time she had me wait almost an hour for my pedicure lady, but an hour passed and nothing still. So then I decided to make an appointment which I did and when I went to my appointment they had me wait another hour so I left because I thought with appointments you will wait less. This 3rd time around, she takes always the lady working on my manicure so she can go with the lady who had an appointment. I understand appointments first, but why give one of your employees if you knew she had an appointment. I have been coming here since they opened and been a loyal customer since then. The only downside is the lady in the front.

1st time here. Lulu did an amazing job. Got down with the perfect shape and size, not bulky, thin on all the right places. Cant wait to come back for my fill n see what other design or color i can get. Cool thing, they have all the major trends on sample nails that way you can choose what u want. Downer though, VERY PRICEY . I was jaw dropped, if i want design on 2 nails its 15 bucks. If i want something extra on ALL the other nails, 15 bucks. On top of that set it is like 45. I just hope they dont lift thatll be a bummer

I liked this place for whenever I needed to get a pedicure. I never had a preference for who to work with because they always got the job done. Sometimes it wouldn’t last as long and sometimes it would last longer than 3 weeks (that is gel). But recently I went to get Gel X on my nails & it was my first time so I didn’t know what to expect. the girl doing my nails (Tiffany) was really burning me with the light that’s supposed to cure the nail to my finger. I had mentioned this and so she tried doing it from a distance for a second and then went back to doing it really close to my nail. I was actually in pain, and I’m sure this can’t be healthy as it’s penetrating through my nail to my skin. And then she started filing the fake nails and she was being so harsh with them and my nails really hurt again (especially after all the chemical bonding) and I’d asked her to be a bit softer but she kept being really aggressive. At one point I wanted to cry bc of how much pain it was, it felt like my nail was gonna come off. I literally was waiting for her to finish I was sweating lol. Overall, the experience isn’t bad, but when I ask you multiple times to be softer cause I’m in pain, maybe be a bit softer???? I come to this place out of convenience and cause it’s the cheapest in the area, but will only be going for a quick pedicure from now on.

PERFECTION! When I tell you I was STRUGGLING to find a decent nail salon in LA, it was an ordeal. Personally I can't stand the thick acrylic look but every spot I went to they just piled it on willy nilly 🙃 Then I heard about Polish + Paint and decided to give them a try. My nails are looking SO GOOD, I truly have no complaints. The tech was super kind and very knowledgeable, she took good care of my natural nails underneath when she removed the acrylic mountains the last salon threw on. I am so so happy! The nails are more natural looking and have a beautiful finish. Worth every penny and I will most definitely be back! ✅

Good place to get nails done. But if you want a positive experience stay away from Michael. He had an attitude and was highly rude to me after I asked him if he could clean around my cuticle. He told me he wont be doing anything except changing my polish because its not his job and he is ready to go. Very unprofessional and rude.

Totally forgot to add a picture! Surely I’ll do it next time. This is heaven for us! You can choose from powder, gel and regular nail polish. Price I paid $130 for full set and pedicure, i had French tip on my toes and ombré on my acrylic. So here’s my experience with this place. This is my 3rd time and I have to recommend “LULU” she’s the best! She fixed a broken nail from the passed service. She end up fixing the whole set.

Do you know how you can tell if the nail salon is good or not? If it's busy, it's good. Polish + Paint is ALWAYS VERY busy. They have the latest nail trends and colors. Nail techs Peter, Judy and Will are excellent. They can do anything: stilettos, almond, super long, dip powder, gel, you name it, you'll find it here.

The staff is very friendly and kind. They always treat us well. Location inside is clean. Is pricier than other nail salons. Plan to spend $$. This place is always packed with clients, so if you don't have an appointment, plan to wait. They offer a wide range of services here. Parking is a pain sometimes as there are other businesses in this little plaza and a drive thru Popeye's that people are always madly trying to get into.

Good costumer service and clean place. Be prepare to wait at least 30 minutes. I went there for pedicure and manicure $55 which I think is fair, compared to other places. I liked my pedicure but I'm not so happy with my gel manicure, they could have done it better. I hope it last, otherwise I'm not going back.

I actually love this place. The chairs are nice for pedicures and the nail artists are very precise, but quick. I never felt like I was getting my nails done by a hack and it's super affordable. The color choices are AMAZING and they pretty much always offer you water. Make sure you are very specific about the way you want you nails as far as length and shape, because if you aren't they just kinda free style it.

Due to covid they are taking in people by appointment. Not sure the time they open, but I was there at 10 AM on Sunday and there was already people getting their nails done. You must wash your hands upon arrival, they disinfect your chair/area before you sit, and they ask that your mask stays on. Prices went a bit higher up, but nothing crazy and for the work the work they do...it's no problem. Jesse really put in work.

This nail shop is great! I've been going here for a little over a year now and I'm always treated with respect by the nail techs. The only downside is the services seem rushed (even when it isn't busy), especially when doing gel manicures. My gel always chips earlier than two weeks when I don't leave it under the UV light for the allotted time. So I just started leaving my hand under the light until the 60secs is up even with them rushing me to switch hands. They give attitude sometimes but I don't care, haha, I'm paying for it so y'all gon' wait.

I’ve never been this happy with a salon before since I’ve moved to California 4 years ago!! I got a full set and it was reasonably priced also for the quality. The front desk woman is also very nice. Once you walk into Paint + Polish, it felt like home. There is a good vibe and a comfortable atmosphere. The employees are very friendly and provide great customer service. Mary did my pedicure and she made sure i left happy with my service. I would definitely come back again since it is super close for USC students. Recommend!

Last minute find recommendation from a friend, this place was full, no where possible to practice social distancing and temperatures are not checked, they do ask you to wash your hands and in the middle of place sat man with no mask, not even a client just someone waiting on his wife or girlfriend. I will go back when things let off a bit or maybe on a weekday because parking was the pits and the transient problems kind of make me not want to go back, saw a man sitting on the chairs placed outside the store with his pants and underwear down, I feel horrible for the workers there that have to put up with this problem but any how not their fault. The job was great so pretty much go at your own risk.

No massage for a much higher priced mani/pedi. Cut up my finger and my toe. Nail design ugly. Offered a 15% discount for my slaughtered, battered digits. I ended up having the design removed right after. The guy removing it was the highlight of the experience. *edit* after reviewing them on Facebook, they contacted me and offered first a complimentary follow-up manicure and pedicure, and then a full refund. The technicians may not the best skill, but their customer service was definitely good. I was impressed with how quickly they responded.

Come here for pedicures. They're fast and prices are good. They open at 10 but if they get there early they open maybe 10-15 min earlier. They have parking but it is shared with the other shops in the shopping center.

Just wanted to stop by and talk about this nail salon it’s absolutely amazing.I’ve been in California three years and every nail shop I have went to has a live acrylic around my fingers I’m scraping it off for three or four days or my cuticles are being cut but this place I had none of that my nails are absolutely perfect and I’ve never had that happen before Peter with my technician and he is absolutely amazing he’s very gentle and very quick thanks Peter I love my nails
