18k Nail Boutique is an exceptional spot. Everything was super clean, very cute set ups for their sugar scrubs etc, and they did an excellent job on our manicures and pedicures. My cousin got dip for her nails, which they used their own unique process. I did gel for my manicure and it looked (and still does!) absolutely flawless. Definitely check this place out for your next treat yourself day!

I've been to this location twice, the first time in February, Kristin (I'm sorry if I spelled the name incorrectly!) took care of my nails and later in March going back I had Kenny's help - both were excellent experiences and the location has such an awesome staff! Everyone here does such a beautiful job and are so helpful and dillegent. I recommend 18K 100% and plan to come back very soon! Both times I came in I got the nail dipping service and am in love with their work! I am so bad with my nails but this procedure had helped them grow and look so pretty at the same time - I'm always in awe! Thanks so much! The photo without and the photos with the white sleeve are from my first trip, done by Kristin. The photo with the pink sleeve is Kenny's work. The color is Dip powder #17 bubble bath (for both times) (: I tried to take the pics in different lighting. If you're thinking about coming here, do it!! This is my go-to spot now! Can't wait to post more photos in the future!

Katie does such an amazing job on my nails every time. I like to do dip to let my nails grow out longer without needing extensions, and it's difficult to find a place that knows how to do dip well. Katie definitely does the best dip manicure I've had. It never looks thick and she shapes my nails exactly how I want. Also, 18k nail boutique is the only salon I've experienced that uses a top coat for dip that doesn't require a uv light. Most salons just do dip and then use gel as a top coat. I highly recommend this salon if you're looking for a high quality manicure! The prices are fair and they accept credit card which is a plus!

This place is the best! It’s very clean, a nice environment, and everyone who works there is incredibly friendly. I consistently have excellent gel manicures that last for many weeks - and the only reason I need to get them redone is because my nails have grown too much. Also, I am always pleasantly surprised because my nails seem to stay strong underneath the gel (which hasn’t been my experience at other salons). On top of everything, I think their pricing is very fair and it’s super easy to call or use the website booking feature to grab an appointment ahead of time.

I am so happy I found 18k Nail Boutique! My nails were very weak and damaged from polish removal at other nail salons. They use a much healthier technique to remove dip powder and gel so my nails are much healthier. Everyone is super nice and does an amazing job! I’ve been a few times and always love the results.

I think I’ve tried every nail salon on the west side and nothing comes close to this place. It is the best! Not only is the salon beautiful and clean, but they consistently do such a great job. They have every color of dip powder imaginable and they also do gel and gel-x. My powder always lasts 4 weeks which is amazing and they never damage my nails. Everyone working there is so nice, hospitable, and fast! The online booking system is really easy and I’ve always been able to come in same day or the next day. Not to mention I’ve always been able to find parking right in front. So happy to have found my go to nail salon!

I have to say that I’ve never been super impressed with any of the Santa Monica nail salons. You get spotty results at best, sometimes good sometimes bad. So I was excited to try this new salon and have been pleasantly surprised. First off the salon is beautiful and clean. I’ve been 3 times and worked with all 3 employees and had a great experience with all. This last time I tried the dip, which I’d heard mixed reviews about, as it can be thick and not look great. But they did a GREAT job on my thin nails and I’m excited to have it last for several weeks and it continues to look fantastic. I really hope this salon survives the pandemic as it’s a cut above. Pro tip: make a reservation as they’re growing /have a small staff and it may be hard to just walk in at certain times without a wait.

The best nail salon on the West Side! Kenny and his team are professional, kind and always provide a beautiful manicure and pedicure. Salon is super clean. Polishes are even well-organized on a lovely display on the wall! I’ve received dip, gel-X and gel manicures and pedicures. I’ve tried most every salon in Santa Monica, and I’ve never gone anywhere else. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone! Truly the best in town.

This is my favorite nail salon. The service is always polite, fast, and high-quality. Their products are sanitized and the place is very clean. There is a great color selection as well. My beautiful dip powder nails lasted 3 weeks without chipping or fading away. Highly recommend a visit!

The gel is never too thick which I love because it looks more like my natural nail. It was also probably the best nail salon in Santa Monica I’ve ever been to!

18K truly became my happy place - the team is amazing, but most importantly the manicure quality is absolutely fantastic, best in West Los Angeles hands down. I am not lying when saying that this salon completely transformed my nails - I have struggled with weak brittle nails my entire life and never was able to grow my nails to any reasonable length - they would immediately break. This salon introduced me to dipping powder, and this has become a game changer for my nails - they never break now and I am so in shock at how long my nails become. The dipping manicure that they do is super high quality - seriously, no other salon I have gone to can compete with this. I am always super pleased with my cuticles, shape, how thin and natural the dipping powder looks. Last but not the least, the service and the team might be the best part. All the staff are super nice, they never rush you and they truly want to do a good job. It is so rare with nail salons to come across people who don’t just care about the profit but care about their customers - I feel so welcomed here every time. Katie and Kenny - shoutout to you guys, you are the best. I am so glad that dozens of other 5 star reviews share similar sentiments, because 18K salon deserves all the praise and hype in the world.

The BEST nail salon on the west side for sure. Not only are the people that work there so friendly, but their dip manicures are so good - they make them as thin as they can so they look like a normal gel manicure. I’ve gotten dip done at many other salons and can say that they are by far the best. It also lasts a good 3-4 weeks easily. Their online booking system is also really easy to navigate and book appointments in advance. 100% recommend.

I seriously love this place. Reasonable price & very nice staff. Fully recommend their "Orange You Pretty Pedicure"! They do an amazing job on your feet and have completely removed your stubborn dead skin. And the fresh orange, mask & hot towel wrap and lotion massages remove a lot of tension.

Highly recommend this nail salon! The manager is lovely and clearly cares about her customers' experience. The staff are nice, do meticulous and gentle work, and seem to have a good work environment. The ambience is pleasant, spacious, and clean. My dip manicure lasted almost 3 weeks. I went back for a regular mani which lasted a week with no chipping.

Everyone here is so friendly. Great quality nails. It is exactly 2 weeks later and there is not one chip, my nails look very shiny and my cuticles look the best they ever have! Love it every time and the prices are super reasonable. Call for an appointment or they also accept walk-ins.

I've known Kenny & Katie for several years, back when I crossed paths with them at a previous nail salon in the Westside, where Kenny was the manager. And honestly, Kenny & Katie and the workers that they hired are EXACTLY why I came back over and over to that salon: They hired extremely competent workers that were extremely talented and kind and friendly. If you want to try dip powder nails, then Kenny is DEFINITELY the guy that knows the technique. And they do sooooo many other options on nails, from simple manicures, pedicures, mani pedi, gel nails, acrylic nails, etc., etc., etc. When Kenny & Katie left their previous salon, I was honestly DEVASTATED because it's hard to find such a reasonable price for such amazing skill & talent on the Westside! You either pay a TON of money for really good skill, or you're getting mediocre skills for a lower price. So imagine by utter surprise and extreme excitement when Kenny & Katie told me that they opened their own nail salon in Santa Monica not long ago! Keep in mind that they work really hard and they drive from Orange County each morning and fight the traffic each morning and each evening and they haven't taken a vacation in YEAR; that just goes to show how amazing Kenny & Katie are. Parking is a bit annoying, but it isn't their fault! After all, the closer a location is to 3rd Street, the harder it is to find free street parking, but if you park 2 (long) blocks up, north of Wilshire, you can get free 2 hours parking in the neighborhood. Finding a good nail technician and nail salon is like finding a good hair stylist or a good doctor; once you find a good one, you never leave and I'm honestly super duper happy and thrilled that Kenny & Katie are back on the Westside!!!
