Peter is always amazing! This place uses clean practices and is so diligent with their work. I can’t praise them enough! Peter cares so much about his clients and directs me and my nails based on what is better for them. They get busy so make sure you make a reservation! I also loved Angela with my pedicure ❤️

I recommend charming nails for anyone who is looking for an amazing nail salon! The staff is highly talented & professional and extremely accommodating for any of your needs. Although Peter does my nails, all nail technicians have great technique across the board. Peter & Eileen treat staff with respect, and genuinely care about the safety and quality of their products for you and their staff. Clean environment, NO harsh chemicals, and they will never compromise your nails just to make money. The prices are fair comparatively to other salons and especially given the experience you receive. They will always make things right if you are not satisfied with something. I highly respect this salon and will continue to come here as long as I am able to!! Truly a west hartford gem.

I absolutely love Charming Nails! My best friend and I have been going here for a while now and Peter and his team are amazing! We always have some silly idea on what we want and they deliver every time. My nails have never looked better. Highly recommend!!

I don't usually write reviews but I've gotta say that this nail salon has certainly earned mine. Not only are they reasonably priced but their services are all great. What really earned my review though was when a customer walked in without a mask, the owner pulled out an unused mask and asked the customer to wear it. As someone who is still masking up to protect people who don't have protection in their household, this means the absolute world and makes having these outings much less anxiety provoking. Thank you, charming nails! Also, Fuego Picante is a few doors down and i absolutely love getting my nails done and walking over for one of their delicious drinks! Their food is absolutely delicious too. Update as of 12/22: I still adore this place and I was feeling extra rebellious on my birthday so I requested a special addition. It came out much better than I even imagined. I can't say enough great things about them.

I’ve been coming to this nail salon ever since I moved to the area and I am always so happy after visit. Peter and all the staff are so caring and truly take their time. They don’t overbook themselves which I love! I always call a day or two before I come and I’ve never once had to wait even 5 minutes. Love love love this place!!

I absolutely love this place. The atmosphere is great. Everyone is super nice and I never have problems with appointments. Peter and Eileen are the best when it comes to UV gel manicures and fills. Well priced for the services provided :)

Having gone to many different nail salons over the years in the area, Charming Nails is the best! I am a regular, every 3 weeks, powder dip. The salon is clean, the owner, Peter, is professional and friendly as is his entire staff.

Very clean, ultimate experienced staff. Nails are the best I've ever had done. Awesome awesome awesome! Mani comes with massage and pedicure can include more massage for a small amount. I wish this was in Arizona where we live. Peter and his staff were friendly and on time for the appointment. Love everything!

I love Charming Nails and Spa, not only is the salon itself wonderfully clean and relaxing but the staff is always cheerful and caring. They truly take their time with each client and offer you the best options for what you’re looking for through recommendations and being extremely knowledgeable with their craft. I’ve been going to another place but was tired of it. I haven’t been in charming nails since the new ownership and for my first time, it was fabulous. Prices are more reasonable with lots of options. I ended up messing up one of my nails and walked back in looking to get it fixed. A worker there which I’m assuming is the owner fixed it for me quickly and was nice about it. Definitely recommend.

The Spa Pedicure #1 is my go-to! Amazing 10 minute massage, callous treatment, scrub & hot stones + a shoulder massage when your toes are drying. Peter & his staff are very kind & attentive. Calm, clean environment.

Found this place because my original tech cancelled on me last minute. I’m soo happy I took the chance on them and even more happy I got to work with ANGELA ! it’s a different experience when someone really enjoys what they do and it shows ! Angela takes her time with every nail ! Every time ! It has been 4 months since I’ve been seeing her and I have never been disappointed. I appreciate her attention to detail and the effort she puts in making sure my nails meet my standard and hers !!!.

Charming Nails is amazing! The salon is very clean, comfortable and welcoming. Peter did a fantastic job on my dip powder manicure. He did a french ombre manicure and it is exactly what I wanted. Peter is very attentive to detail and made sure the shape and color were perfect. A number of my nails were broken so Peter added tips to make them all the same length and you can't tell which are my natural nails and which aren't. Truly a wonderful job! Very reasonably priced, $55 for the tips & ombre design ($10 more than regular dip powder). Love this nail salon, will definitely be returning. Highly recommend!

They were all very professional and really courteous of me and my comfort. They made me feel like a royal with the way they look care of my nails while getting my spa pedicure. If I had more time I would of gotten more services. Definitely next time. I loved the massages!

I have been here 2x so far and everytime I go my gel manicure lasts for 3 weeks before chipping it’s amazing!! I’m not sure if it’s the technique they all use or the polish. But I will definitely keep coming back! Also the free added back massage is always a plus! :)

The only nail spot I go to in CT. They're friendly and so wonderful at what they do. Their pedicure + massage combination is a must try as are their gel manicures. I also love the massage chairs they have us sit in throughout the pedicure!

Very relaxing. Most of the technicians are personable too and speak a fair level of English. This is great because you can clearly explain what you need, their response is clear, and they can talk to you casually while you get your service done. I've been there twice. Once for a pedicure which was nice and once for a full set powder dipped manicure which wasn't bad either. The prices are fair too. Cash only is the only down side I can think of right now. I will return and I highly recommend.

I have been twice and brought my daughter with me last time. They are open later than most places which is what I needed both times. The place is clean, and they are very accommodating. My daughter felt is was the best mani and pedi she has ever had. I had the same woman both times and felt she did good. The pedi massage on your feet and legs can be lengthened and price goes up if coursewith tge duration. They give a few minute shoulder massage afterwards that we both felt was amazing.

Charming Nails and Spa is a cute new nail salon in West Hartford. I have to say what really sets them apart from the rest in the area is their incredible customer service - they truly want you to be happy with their service and care about your nails being perfect. I was in recently for a pedicure and dip powder nails. There was an issue with the particular powder I had originally chosen and Peter, one of the owners, stopped at nothing to make sure the problem was fixed and my nails looked beautiful, and they sure did. Most other salons probably would've given up or let a customer be unhappy, but that's not the case at Charming Nails and Spa. Peter and his staff genuinely cared about my being 100% satisfied and I was! The salon also offers complimentary bottles of water, never reuses their nail tools on clients (yes, I've witnessed that elsewhere) and they give the greatest complimentary massages after your service. Check them out for any nail service; you won't be disappointed!

So I don’t want to give this place any lower of stars because I do really love it and they do an amazing job! However, my last visit was a little rough and I want to share the experience because it was a bit upsetting. I came in for a manicure with an appointment, I was looking to get a French manicure- I had two broken fingernails and wanted to add the extension tips as well which required dip and gel for the French ends (because of the extensions) first woman was great and applied the gel remover. Then I sat for 30 minutes with the acetone on my nails and she began to do someone else’s pedicure. It was very busy so I don’t blame anyone but I would have preferred them to decline my appt rather than have me sotting with acetone on for that long. A new man finally sat down and was visibly annoyed. He couldn’t get the gel off my nails so they had to put acetone on again and again multiple times. When I explained the nails I wanted he was very annoyed and I felt really bad because he clearly didn’t know how or want to do these. Constant sighs and he was definitely stressed. I don’t blame him and he did a great job on the nails but I wanted to cry after because I felt so bad. I guess I just wish they scheduled me on a different date or maybe have employees a break to refresh so I wouldn’t have to cause someone so much inconvenience with something I really enjoy doing (getting my nails done)

I have been hopping around a handful of nail salons since moving to West Hartford a few years ago. Charming Nails has great staff, a clean salon, great prices — and my nails always last the longest from here! 10/10 would recommend.

I like this salon, very clean - there is an autoclave to sterilize tools and tub liners for pedicure. The pedicurist made sure to put an extra layer of the color I chose because it was semi-sheer and they are very generous with the massage portions of the service, I will frequent this place again.

Literally the best gel manicure I have ever had. Almost been a month and the polish has not chipped AT ALL. That has never happened to me before since use my hands a lot. Definitely going back to get them redone. My nails feel super strong. I’m highly satisfied.

Everyone working there was very nice. The salon was very clean. I really enjoyed the service overall. I noticed the girl who did my powder dip nails left them a bit round and thick. I'm not too happy with that but it's not too noticeable and I'll be sure to have them evened out a bit next time. I requested an extra 15 minutes of back massage after my nails were done. I was charged $20 and the young man who gave me the massage was very rough. It made me a bit uncomfortable and wasn't very relaxing. I think his goal was to get out my knots, but I was looking for something a bit more soothing. I will go back there for my nails though.

I went to get a manicure at Charming on March 23rd and I do not have enough nice things to say. Peter and Eileen are so friendly and have created a spotless and inviting spa. From the extensive nail polish color choices, paraffin hand treatment, bottles of water, and perfectionism (cuticle filing in addition to trimming making the best shape, redoing a nail until they are satisfied)... the customer service was great! Peter made me promise to come back if I got a chip so he could fix it. My manicure lasted until March 31st with only two nails getting small chips in the corners of the polish (one on each hand). I went back today to get them reshaped and painted and I have plans to come back!

Got the dip powder nails and they lasted me three weeks without chipping or cracking! They were very strong and the color or shape never faded. I have recommended this place to all my friends and will definitely go back again for my next manicure.

Pedicures during process are awesome and though they offer a "spa" pedicure for more their normal pedicures are great too. My only comment, please don't thin down the nail polishes, if they are thick it is time to toss out. Thinning polishes shortens the time a manicure or pedicure color will last. Nice people who work there.
