This spa is like an oasis in the middle of a cement strip mall. My mother and I came here to get pedicures together. I called ahead to make sure they could fit us in and do our nails at the same time. Sure enough, when we walked in they immediately sat us right next to each other. The decor is absolutely beautiful. It is very tastefully done and everything matches. They even have a bar with wine and assorted alcoholic beverages. The chairs are some of the best massage chairs I have ever sat in, and I left feeling like a professional had rubbed the knots right out! The pedicure tech herself was very professional and my nails were impeccably done. She massaged my legs and feet for a long time, and was very detailed on my nails. The tv's were on a nature channel and instrumental music was on in the background. It was so much more enjoyable than hearing a tv blaring. Overall, I would recommend this nail salon to anyone. It was about 5 dollars more expensive than other places but you pay for the experience and decor. SO worth it.

I started coming to King Nails and John was my nail specialist. This was while Peter was here. I remained for about two 1/2 years off and on. Then My husband (was my friend) and I started coming out in 2016 while dating. I started out with Susan for my pedicures and Macie, nails; and Trampus with Song or Sung. It was my very 1st time there and I thought the service was okay. I paid $112 for services and left a 20% tip. I got the deluxe pedicure with option c (aloe mask on legs) for $43 Andy was my tech and he was efficient. my fingernails are a different story, the work is OK but overly priced for what I got (full set, acrylic fill, coffin shape and gel polish with a 2nd color basic design) and sadly not even a bottle of water was offered.I didn't ask for the techs name but I was on table 3. The tech did not listen or understand what I was asking for and did not give me what i wanted. A few instances thw next tech would jump in and try to assist but that was a bit annoying. i didnt get what i really wanted but it was my anniversary and i Had missed my appointment at regular place so I'm not mad. I may return for the convenience of it being really close to my house and their friendly service but I won't be sitting on table 3. Overall I give them a 3.5 for fast, friendly service and their convenient location. (they're located next to the Dollar tree Plaza and accross the Walmart plaza Near Ft Jackson)

I have been a customer for years and have always had a great experience. I have been with King nails since before the remolding and they have always kept up with all the trends and new styles of nails. Their products are of great quality and always treat you with a warm welcome. Every nail tech is pretty much well experienced, However Macy and Holly are my favorites! I went initially to get a gel fill-in and was very impressed with quality of service, friendly professionalism/customer service and clean facility. I then decided same day to get the individual lashes, lash tinting, eye brow wax/shaped and was just as equally satisfied with each of those services. Highly recommend to others. Ok, got a pedi by a friendly guy. Pedi was ok, but the guy talked to me and made me laugh. I liked that. 😊 Then I got my fingernails done. I am not an easy client, but I’m very pleased. I got an ombré’ with two colors that the technician told me were difficult to mix. She did an awesome job, but she was not friendly. What I have to say is that, I really hate when the tech doesn’t talk to me at all and only speaks a different language to other people while she’s doing on my nails. It always makes me feel like she’s talking about me. She did snap at me a couple of times, I didn’t like the color, and I didn’t understand the process so she had to take a little bit of time to make it right and help me understand. I don’t think she liked that at all. She did a great job, but she was not friendly. I will go back because when it’s all said and done I was pleased with how my toes and my fingers looked. I have been there twice and both times I have been pleased with my results.

So I think I found my new nail place! Moved here a couple months ago and I have had my nails done at 2 other places and this place was the best hands down. First off before you even enter the building they check your temperature and once you get inside they have you wash your hands before you get your service. They are actually practicing social distancing, everyone wears their mask and the place all around is clean and professional looking. Kenny did my nails and even though I felt that he rushed a little, he did my nails exactly like the picture I showed him. Price wise they are very reasonable I had a pedicure that was $35 and my nails were $55 because I got them long coffin shaped and I had the acrylic polish on my nails. The only thing I didn’t like was the lady who did my brows did them way too thin for my liking so I won’t be getting my brows done there anymore but I will definitely continue going to them for my nails and toes! This is a great place!

This rating is based off of my very first experience at this location. I stopped in last Thursday (05/10) to treat myself to a pedicure & a manicure. I have absolutely no complaints with my pedicure. It was a great experience! My issue is with my manicure. I felt the process was extremely rushed. I got gel polish on both my toenails and fingernails, and the while the gel polish on my toes are still perfect, the gel polish on my finger nails started to peel the very next day. Today, Tuesday (05/14), the gel polish on four of nails have completely chipped off and the remaining finger nails are starting to chip away at the cuticles and sides. In my experience, gel nails are suppose to last up to two weeks. For the amount that I paid, the quality of work is far from worth it. Although the atmosphere was great, the staff seemed friendly, I won’t be returning to this location.

So I was trying to find a place closer to home to get my nails done, as I have been going somewhere near where I work. I am so glad I chose this place! Not only can you make an appointment online, but when you get there you do not have to wait even if you're a bit early. They have tons of technicians, and from what I could see, they are all really good! I came in with nails that were less than desirable and left with probably the best and most beautiful nails I've had. I have acrylic nails and I needed a fill, a cut down, and of course gel polish. I also opted to get a design on a couple of nails. I am so pleased with the end result! Emily was awesome! I don't think I will be going anywhere else in the future other than King nails and spa!!!

Super friendly! Cindy and Kenny (I think we’re their names) did an amazing job today on mine and friends nails! The Aloe Vera deluxe pedicure was delightful and was just want I needed for the cuts and scrapes on my legs. My manicure was just as good with Kenny doing a powder/ S&S French tip style on my nails. I picked the pricier options but definitely worth it! This nail salon is probably the best nail salon I’ve ever been to. Would recommend making an appointment if you’re going on a weekend just Incase they are busy!

My nails look really natural. Honestly no complaints, that’s rare with me. Kenny did my nails and he focused with no distractions and continuously asked me if that’s what I wanted which I liked! This was my first time coming to this location. Amazing service not only in their high quality level of work but also their interpersonal skills. I received a gel fill in, deluxe pedicure, and eyebrows. From beginning to end I continued to be more and more impressed with the service I was provided. My first experience was not the best Nail Work was ok did not take the time to check all nails we're even. Another thing they don't like children in the salon but won't say anything when you get an appointment over the phone. To avoid the issue So it becomes uncomfortable and mission to accommodate your child where it doesn't bother them. And of course they talk Among themselves. Last for the amount of money you pay you expect close to perfect. Sorry but you work hard for the money to just throw it away to anyone and expect to give a feedback.

I refused to go to King Nails due to the rude staff and the horrible quality of the techs back in 2016. This shop has been revamped and it is so much better. The tech took his time with my pedicure, he made sure I was comfortable and he made sure I was pleased with the colour I had chosen. This is my favorite nail salon. Macie is my nail tech and she does an amazing job every time. She’s very professional also. Since they re-opened since the pandemic they take your temperature before entering the salon and you must wash your hands. You must wear a mask while receiving services. This makes me feel more comfortable while I’m there.

I’m used to paying $15 for a gel manicure and $25 for a gel spa pedicure. It seems like anywhere in the South, you’ll be charge over $70 for both. If I’m going to pay that much money for my nails, it better be a good nail salon. This place is the best place I’ve found so far. They offer you water, soda, and wine, as you wait. They do go out of there way to get the color/design the way you want it. They do an amazing job with Dip Powder. That being said, there are also some cons. They are always busy. Some days, there isn’t room to sit as you wait. I personally went in one day and asked if I could set up an appointment. I had set it up for the next day and I watched the guy write my name down in this big blue book. When I went in the next day, I was told they didn’t take appointments, it was walk in only. 🤦🏻‍♀️ When you’re constantly busy, they should allow customers to make appointments. Just my professional opinion.

Best place ever!!!! Just moved from Buffalo, NY to Columbia best experience I’ve ever had in my life! The shop was clean and the atmosphere was very upbeat. A perfect Sunday! I visited King Spa on 8/5/18 with my husband and son for pedicures and left feeling refreshed. We were provided drinks and was catered to for 45mins. This is an excellent place too come and relax getting pampered by a great staff!!! I really enjoy that they do not allow children for the safety of their wellbeing due to the different chemicals plus this is a place for pampering of the adult costumers. When you look at it with an open mind it makes perfect sense not too allow children for the safety and the relaxation for the client. This is my second time coming because I enjoyed the “me time” for myself and the atmosphere is so peaceful. Kudos to the staff for doing such an amazing job with my pamper session and for their care and concern for the young children.

I really like this place!! The massage chairs are just what someone with back issues needs! It’s a very relaxing environment, and they offer you drinks too including wine! I have heel spurs and Plantar fasciitis and a pedicure helps SOOO much!! This is the only place I would go for a pedicure!! The staff is nice too!! Highly recommend!!👍🏼👍🏼 I’m never turned away like at some other places. Everyone gets there own individual bag for pedicures which is very sanitary!! Highly satisfied customer here!!❤️❤️

Usually when I come. Service is great. Always. But today I came in for a pedi and full set. I could tell the guy who. . Was doing my pedi. Was a little inexperienced because he was way too rough. To the point my toe started bleeding. . I let it slide and went on about my service. I did bring it to his attention before he put polish on my toes. Because he tried to cover it up as if I was not watching . Anywho. I pay for my service. Get to my car and looked at my feet a little more. And the paint was terrible. So I go back and explain to the manager. And of course not understanding what he said. Offered a refund on a giftcard. I accept I got home literally around the corner and found out. That I was only refunded 10 dollars now I Kno that no service is free. But at least pay for me another pedi. When my toes was messed up by an inexperienced nail tech.

I had a spare of the moment weekend in Columbia and I didn't have time to do my own nails before hand. So I ended up going to this shop . I got a full set ombre coffin shape nails. It came out pretty to the eye but the tech did not secure my stress point. They are expensive. 55$ for this set. If I have to go to a nail shop ever again, this wouldn't be my 1st choice. Oh .....I also seen that they had complimentary drinks. But I wasn't offered one as I sat & waited about 15-20 mins for a tech to do my nails. I'm not sure if they were just for pedicure clients but it would have been nice if I were offered something for the wait.

I would disregard the reviews older than a month ago (prior to this posting). I'm just visiting the area and wanted a pedicure. I pulled up and there was a 'Grand Re-Opening' sign. I didn't have to wait at all as there are plenty of nail techs here. They use a 'one-time use' pedicure kit, so it's a sterile pedicure. The decor is nice along with the relaxing music, like what a massage therapist would play. NOT TO MENTION....they have a wine and champagne bar.
