I had a great experience at the salon. Kevin did a very good job with the dip powder, I’ve never seen a technician so attentive, especially with the shaping. Rachel finished off my nails with the design and she did an amazing job. It came out exactly how I wanted it. It was a 10/10 experience and I would highly recommend it!

Amy was great! I came in for a fill + 1 nail fix and found the experience to be pleasant throughout. I was a little apprehensive about the, brighter than I would normal select pink color, but wanted something a little Barbie pink like for Valentine’s Day. Amy reassured if I did not like the color she would change no problem, but I ended up loving it. I’ve been wanting to transition out of acrylic nails and into dip or gel for sometime now. However, after years of acrylics in my adult life and years of nail ripping/rubbing/picking my nail beds throughout my adolescence and into adulthood (Never a nail biter, but just as compulsive with the constant rubbing of the skin around my nails) I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to transition out of the acrylics and into a natural nail strong enough and pretty enough to paint. I was able to talk to Amy about how I wanted to do just that and she gave me some great advice and a plan on how we can transition over the coming weeks. I felt so comfortable with her and look forward to continuing to see her at Swanky Nails. My nails are short, which I like, look natural, which I really like and most importantly I felt Amy took the time to discover what I wanted not only today but in the long term. I found my new spot after moving to the city! $60 for a gel fill and fix was very reasonable. I’ll be back!

I went to Kevin at Swanky Nails to get a French dip manicure for my wedding and he did an incredible job! He knew it was an important event for me so he was very attentive to detail and even showed me an example of what my nails could look like on a tip before deciding if I wanted to go with it. My nails ended up looking great and Kevin was such a pleasure to work with. I 100% recommend him and will be going back regularly to get my nails done by him! BONUS: the nails are lasting so long! even through some adventurous excursions on our honeymoon!

Alex did a phenomenal job on my nails. The shape was perfect, he was super quick, less than an hour, and extremely friendly. This was probably one of the best experiences I’ve had getting a manicure and I’ve tried a lot of places in Chicago! Definitely recommend this place, will be coming back!!

I called the day before I wanted an appointment and they were able to schedule me next day right after work. When I arrived to my appointment everyone was very nice and attentive. My nails were finished very quickly and they came out perfect. My nail tech noticed my nails were very thin (from treatment at another salon) and she took her time to remove my old dip and not damage my nails. She told me she wanted to help me with growth and strength of my natural nail, which I greatly appreciated. I will definitely be making this my new go to nail salon!

This place is amazing. Kim is fabulous, professional, and you can tell she is a hustling smart lady. The place is beautiful and the service is beyond what I’ve ever experienced at any other nail salon. The receptionist is a boss and such a sweet one. The price was a little higher than my small town nail lady, but reasonable for the city, and definitely worth it.

I love my nails!!! I called around 2:30pm on a Sunday to see if they could do an acrylic fill with gel polish and they were able to set up an appointment at 4:15pm. I walked in at 4:10pm and was seated immediately! They offered me a drink, and allowed me to choose a few colors and helped out when I couldn’t find exactly what I needed. The gentleman I had was very kind and worked diligently on my nails to even them out. I prefer to have a thinner nail that is more natural and he did exactly that. He even took the time to try and match the pink acrylic I had from before, and it was a perfect match. Better yet, my entire manicure was only $50- but I tipped $10 since the service was 5 stars. I highly recommend here and if I ever have to get my nails done in Chicago, this will be my go to place. Thank you for such amazing service!!

Swanky Nails is great. It is brand new and clean and very well-maintained. I had Kim do my manicure and pedicure and she did an amazing job. She was nice and thorough and my nails look great. The chairs for the pedicure are brand new and the massage features work very well. I got a color on my toes and it looks excellent. This place does an incredible job. They don’t cut corners with any service you get. For the pedicures they put rose petals in your water, make sure to massage your legs and feet for a while and ensure you are comfortable. My wife cleaned something with her freshly done nails and the chemicals made her new nails turn yellow, they took care of her the next day, first thing in the morning. Their staff are always friendly and kind!!

I was very impressed with the service here; the salon was extremely clean, the techs were polite, the service was reasonably priced, and I didn't have to do a minute of waiting for my appointment. Kim did a beautiful job painting my nails and Rachel did incredible freestyle nail art. They were both kind to me and constantly made sure I was satisfied with how my nails looked, which I appreciated. I highly recommend this place!

I love this place. Swanky is so easy to schedule with on the phone or online and I’ve had great customer service from the front desk and techs. You can tell the owners care about the clients and they take the time to know their regulars. They never make you feel rushed but will go out of their way to help you if you are short on time and communicate ahead. Kevin has been consistently the best mani experience for my nails out of all the places I’ve been to in Chicago. I’ve done both gel polish and dip with him and they always last longer than I would expect, the shaping is fantastic and he’s helpful with colors as well. I’ve had pedi services with Alex and Annie and they were both great also!

This was my first time visiting because I needed a new nail spa and they did not disappoint. The place was clean and comfortable and quiet. They offered you a courtesy drink and made sure to check in. Now for the mail service, it was great and I went to Kevin the nail tech he was nice very professional and efficient so I will definitely be going back. If you get a chance this place is worth it.

I’ve been a customer of Swanky Nails since it opened, over a year ago. I was anxiously awaiting their opening and I am so glad they are actually in my condo building. The owner, Rachel, and her staff have been always welcoming and flexible and professional in their nail art. I only get something very basic but I’ve seen other customers nail creations and they’re gorgeous. I’m always pleased with my basic manicure and every technician I’ve found to be extremely conscientious and professional. It’s always a pleasure to visit Swanky Nails.

Which why I’m writing this one. 10/10 service and the staff is amazing, incredibly friendly, and they take their time. I’ve been there a hand full of times and was happy with all my services . First time in Swanky's today. Got a beautiful regular manicure/pedicure from Kim. She did a wonderful job and nails look great. Shop was very clean, relaxing music and overall good vibe. The only thing I was a bit puzzled by was the 2 X $3 charge for Infinite Shine that I received. I was not asked if I wanted this or told that anything I was getting was an extra cost. Not sure how this happened. Will try again though.

Had the most amazing pedicure by Thu! I love this salon because it’s in a great location, clean (they sterilize equipment), great massage chairs, and love the pedicure upgrades. I got the lavender pedicure which included a super long massage and multiple steps of luscious moisturizers. It ended with a jelly-type paraffin!

The first time I went to this salon, I thought “this is my new place” - Angie was so sweet and kind, and did an amazing job. The next two times I got stuck with Jennifer even though I didn’t book with her. I don’t mean be rude but sometimes nail appointments are about decompressing. Instead I end up getting interrogated about whether I’m married, if I have a boyfriend, etc and lectured for 1.5 hours about how it’s unfair that when people get divorced it’s 50/50, and women should get more because they’re girls. It’s frustrating. It’s weird. Also, she’s super aggressive when removing a gel manicure - and gets so frustrated that I wanted to layer two gel colors. I saw on an Instagram account (don’t roll your eyes) of another nail salon that gave the exact color names and how many coats of each. She was so frustrated with me that I wasn’t doing dip, she did such thin layers my nails look completely clear. I want to give this salon another chance, but I’m not seeing an incentive given the prices.

Really happy with my service here. They were able to fit me in with a short notice appointment. All tools came from sanitized packs, they used fresh gloves for each customer. Pedicure felt a little rushed, but was still good. In love with the full dip set from Amy! She really payed attention to detail and made the set super pretty.

This place is great! I do a terrible job of cutting my toe nails so I need some maintenance done every month or so. Rachel took care of me and I got the citrus honey tea pedicure. Totally worth what I paid for! My fiancé got a classic pedicure from Lam and he did a great job! I’m happy this place opened in our neighborhood. We will definitely be back!
