I have never walked out of a mani appointment so satisfied with how my nails turned out, especially French manicures. Cindy did a phenomenal job. She was very careful and paid close attention to details like how my two hands looked together, not just individually. I don’t live close by, but I will definitely be back for her! Only problem was the woman at the front desk wasn’t very friendly. I asked if someone could help me get my socks and shoes on since my nails were still a little wet. I’ve been to many salons before, and I’ve always been helped in this capacity. She said that they don’t do that here. That’s completely fine! But when I asked about oil and plastic for my toes, which I saw up front, available for anyone, she became very short and angry with me. Maybe I offended her, but that was not my intention. Even so, overall very great, and I love my nails!

Super easy to schedule online. Very flexible by phone if you need to call & move an appointment. Only received gel & dip (with some extensions) manicures here and they are consistently the best manicures I’ve ever had. Meticulous with cleaning up your cuticles and shaping your nails. Incredible attention to detail when applying gel or powder. Always nice about squeezing you in for removal. Whether it’s to pamper yourself or for a special event, you are choosing the best salon when you choose Gaelic.

Honestly very disappointed with the experience. Firstly, I mistakenly made my reservation for gel and changed to dip and was spoken to sternly by the staff member in charge of this. Then, I made a reservation for 3 people and the 3rd person in my party arrived a few min later than the other 2 of us. I let my pedicurist know that the 3rd person was coming soon and they assured me that the 3 of us could sit in the 3 seats in the back of the salon. Despite this, the 3rd person was seated on the opposite side of the salon. Lastly, the quality of the regular pedicure I got here is the worst I’ve ever experienced. The pic I’ve attached is 1 week after my visit.

Every time I go I leave satisfied and happy. I love the attention to detail when you are getting your nails done. I’ve been to enough nail salons to know when I’ve found the right place. It’s a little bit of a drive for me, but it is so worth it! Ken always does an amazing job and always knows how I like my nails. Everyone there is kind and accommodating, my go to nail salon.

I usually never leave reviews but now that my roommate and I are out of Southie I figured it was time to tell people how great Nhiem is because he deserves it. He is so lovely, always takes his time and my nails have never looked better! Everyone should go see him!

I have been to this location multiple times in the past and had a good experience. Today I called because I was looking for parking and would be a few minutes late to the appointment. The person on the phone assured me that they would take me when I walked in. A few moments later when I arrived, I was told that because I was late, I would have to wait 90 minutes for the next appointment. I explained that we had just spoken on the phone about the fact that I was running late and was told to still come in. Although I have appreciated their services in the past, this was terrible customer service and I will not be back.

This review is for Vee, as she is the only technician who has done my nails. I usually don’t write reviews. However, it’s important to also acknowledge great quality work. I was referred to Vee from one of my colleagues. I am not the easiest to please when it come to my nails…. I love powder BUT it needs to be extremely thin and the width has to be slim so it appears natural (not wide and chunky). Vee has a technique and EXECUTES every time. My nails last a long time. I only go in the fourth week because I don’t like the way the nails appear due to growth. Vee is kind and professional. There are many selections,nudes and neutral colors for those who don’t like loud colors. The place seems very busy. I have not had a problem with my new favorite tech. Eva did my toes. They came out so cute. I don’t have a preference on any techs. This is probably my 5th time coming back. Each time there was a new technician. Each of them did a good job. Minus one star because Eva was a bit rude.

Gaelic is hands down the best nail salon in Boston, and probably even the state of MA! I started coming here in 2018 and got put with Lee, the owner. My gel nails lasted 3 weeks, anywhere else I had gone I was lucky to get 1 week out of them. I returned back when I was due and I asked to see the same technician as last time. Lee and I got chatting, and I told her how thrilled I was to finally find someone who could actually make a gel manicure last. She was so appreciative and told me she trains all of her employees to do it the same, so every customer gets a good manicure. From then on, I was able to see different technicians if Lee was busy, and I have never had a bad manicure in the past 3.5 years. They also have a great appointment booking system. Go to Gaelic!

I just had a manicure, pedicure and my eyebrows worked on at the salon. Kim who did the manicure and pedicure did a fantastic job. She is truly a professional at her craft. I apologize for not getting the young lady’s name who did the eyebrows but she also was very good at her craft. I highly recommend this place to anyone that needs this type of service.

I have been going to this place ever since I was a kid. There service is always excellent. I usually get a mani and pedi. they make sure to clean u up, massage u, and do your nails very nicely. Designs are also done with precision. They do it all with reasonable prices. Will recommend to anyone.

I liked that I was able to book online. This salon was large and had lots of stations. They had a nice color selection and the technician cared enough to find a fresh bottle of polish as the one I'd chosen was too thick to go on smoothly. She took her time and it was a fair price. My only gripe is it was my first time there and the woman at the front desk was extremely rude when I was checking out.

I have always had very good experiences with Gaelic salon. All the employees are professional and friendly. They give a great massage w pedicure. But the one thing that I appreciated was watching the tech open a Brand New package of tools (clippers, file, etc.) That may sound odd but you'd be surprised at how many places re-use them. Definitely a returning customer.

Today was my first time coming here, it’s so hard to find a good nail salon/tech and wow this place was amazing. They greet you so professionally and nicely, van did such an amazing job with my pedicure, and dip powder. She really took her time, and put up with my indecisiveness when it came to choosing a color. I am very indecisive, but always end up getting the same color! Lol. They also play such calm mellow music. Will definitely be returning.

Great salon! I had tried to get a nail design at another salon and they completely butchered it so I ran over to Gaelic and they immediately helped me out. this is one of the best nail shops in boston! the quality, cleanliness and professionalism is on another level with them. They pay a lot of attention to detail and ask you every step of the way if things are going as you like them and are just really nice personally. I have small nails so acrylics tend to not last as long, but with them i can go three and even four weeks and they will still look amazing. My only recommendation is to not book for a friday! They're really busy friday so you may not get seated until an hour after you've booked which is understandable. I've booked on saturday and thursday before and they had me in a chair within five minutes of entering.

Cindy is SO sweet and kind!! I have horrible feet, always in pain-hands always stuff and in pain.. she gave me the best pedicure I ever had-my legs and feet felt like ice and then warm and then ice-she massaged my tired hands day and use my hands a lot and I’m always aching-Cindy made me feel like a brand new woman’s and fingers and I was so grateful!!

This place is top notch, not only are they quick, but the pedi's are to die for. They took there time, running my legs, and very detailed. Definitely get your money's worth and more. Very friendly, and helpful smiling faces. I would highly recommend this place for quality and detailed work. Only downside is the parking is 2 hour parking thats all the bad I have to say. Amazing Pedi's. They can also do anything you show them for mani's two girlfriends showed them what they wanted, changed there minds a few times, lol and they were happy to do it with a smile on there face. Fast, clean, professional, and overall a relaxing, and worth every penny experience.

This place is amazing, very clean and super attentive staff. Three friends and I came in here on a whim and it was worth it. I got a pedicure and my eyebrows done with Nee who was really friendly and welcoming. This was my first time ever getting a pedicure and it was amazing. Amanda was also really good and helped one of the girls in our group touch up a nail she had gotten done else where and had smudged. she found the right color and fixed it for free. I would recommend this place for its staff and cleanliness.

I had a manicure with gel. This is the second one I had at Gaelic. My nails were always chipping, breaking and very weak. When the operator saw the problem, she suggested the gel which I never heard of. The nails look spectacular and last a month, plus I do not have the discomfort of having them break off at the quick the way they always did. In addition, Gaelic is clean, and every person who has done my manicure and pedicure has done a fabulous job. I cannot recommend this place enough.

I forgot the young mans name that did my pedicure vut he did an amazing job 2 bad i couldnt tip him with my prepaid visa gift card.. n had no cash on me...ill have 2 go back n give extra he did such a goid job...the "massage" they give during oedis usually focus on the legs but he tutaly focused on my feet which pedu means feet n um on my feet walking all day ever y day...and it was a good massage 2 not a quicky......i wish i could remember his name .... very short wait even though the place was packed...great review from me!!!
