Every time I’ve had my nails done at Downtown Nails & Spa I’ve walked out so impressed and happy with their work. Nina is an artist. She is a meticulous perfectionist. She takes her time, she considers every small detail. She is a nail surgeon! She has her own special technique for producing beautiful nails every time. I have long natural nails, and struggle to find someone who can maintain the natural look, while also giving them a finished look. Best of all, her work lasts 3+ weeks for dip. The only reason I came back after 3 weeks was because my nails got too long, otherwise the polish was as perfect as day one. I would give 10 stars if I could! :)

I came to this salon today on my lunch break for a fill and I am blown away with the work they did! I think her name was Nina- absolutely incredible. She reshaped my nails into almond and I love them!! I will absolutely be coming back. Highly recommend

Hands down the best nail salon in Boston! I was so lucky finding Nina to get my nails done. I highly recommend this salon- Nina does an absolutely fantastic job every visit. She is a perfectionist and always takes the time to make sure everything is to your liking! I found a nail design online and she was able to replicate it beautifully. Make sure to call ahead to book with Nina- her schedule fills up!!

They were a little bit late on the schedule, but it was a busy day. They let me wait inside, sat and enjoy the AC so was ok to wait. The place is very clean. And they are very gentle. She heard my request and reproduce exactly what I asked. I'm super happy about it.

Very pleased with the service, my pedicure was very relaxing. Maggie helped me and she did great! She also helped me with gel extensions my first time trying and I’m so happy I did! Place is new and very clean! Prices are a bit higher than other places but expected because of the quality service and area! Will definitely recommend! Kelly does a great pedicure. Highly recommend. I've had 4 back surgery's in the last 10 years. Putting my socks on is the hardest part of my day. Kelly has really helped. My feet have never looked and felt so good. You can tell all of the ladies in there love each other and it shows by the way they treat each other abs their customers.

Went in today after having not been for about 8 months and was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the new Management. The salon has been remodeled and has much better decor and seems more spacious. Very clean. Staff are welcoming. And my mani and pedi turned out great!

When it comes to my nails, I am absolute perfectionist regarding the shape of my nails and the paint job. My nails were damaged from DIP and over-filing at a different salon, and Nina recommended doing the gel builder to help repair my nails (it’s a base for the gel manicure) and I couldn’t be happier. She did an incredible job and they look absolutely perfect!

Stopped in today quick for a full set while I was here from NY with my boyfriend for his work as something to do to kill time. Was able to get in right away. The staff seemed knowledgeable about what she was doing and made sure to understand what I was looking for. She took her time to make sure the nails looked nice. Glad I made the 10 minute walk there. Happy with my nails.

This picture was taken 6 days after manicure, so it looks a little worse than it did right away but I love it!! Cost $45 and I tipped $8 so total $53 for a full set of brand new acrylics and GEL nail polish. One of the most affordable places in Boston for nails. We just walked in on a Saturday around 1:30pm and were helped immediately with no appointment. Took about 30 minutes from start to finish. None of the polish has chipped yet and all the acrylics are still secure. I will definitely be going back for a touch up!

I love this place. I saw the reviews, and yes, it's not the most luxurious spot, but the prices are right, there is no wait during the week (I go a lunch), and the woman who painted my nails did a great job. She took her time perfecting my cuticles, and was so careful and precise with the polish! I only go for a basic manicure, nothing fancy, but my nails look great and at $12, I can go in and get them done whenever I have an issue. I'm so glad I found this place!

Ive been getting my nails done since i was 22 and from mattapan to downtown boston these people are the best ive ever came to because they do the acrylic even through out the nails and don't scam you by putting the acrylic thin on the tips . they are the best because they prevent the nails from breaking ... I will never go anywhere else and i come from Beverly mass to get them done . it's worth every dime you have to spend with appreciation !!! 😇😇

For my wedding day, I got my French manicure done over there. There's a woman, I think she's the manager or something, she does her job really fast. Extremely fast. She did my nails in 25 minutes. They lasted about two weeks and I'm sure they could last longer (I mess them up). I also do my waxing over there. Really fast as well. They have the blue product that does not really hurt.

It's a very enjoyable experience for me. Nails were done nicely, the staff were nice and it's an overall good experience. At first the place may not be the most beautiful, but I don't really enjoy leaving it to looks. ( I had also seen the reviews and they are extremely split either someone has a good experience or a bad one) I didn't really know what to think, but after trying it I loved it.

I came here when I traveled to Boston and had some time to kill. My experience was great- the woman doing my nails was very patient with me as I decided what design I wanted. She was knowledgeable about what colors she thought would look best and even stayed past closing time to perfect my nails. Very kind people. Definitely worth visiting.
