When I saw this nail salon got Harry Styles’ nail polish line Pleasing, I couldn’t wait to go! My best friend & I went today, we had a wonderful experience! The massage chair is very relaxing to sit in while getting a pedicure, the glass of wine was a top notch touch. My nails and toe nails look great! They were fast & efficient. I was also amazed at how reasonable pricing was!! We will definitely be repeat customers! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

This is the best nail salon and I’m a loyal customer! Kevin & Kristine are SO nice as well as professional. I don’t understand the one star negative reviews . 🤷‍♀️ If you are looking for a pedicure or any kind of nail service , they do their very best to accommodate. If you don’t like what a technician is doing , just TELL THEM ! They will fix it on the spot ! Don’t wait until you get home and feel the need to write a negative review. 🧡

They do a beautiful job every time I go -consistent, excellent customer service from skilled technicians!!! At one visit, I went for wedding pedis with my nieces and the rest of my wedding party! Everyone was so accommodating to us! Love that they serve complimentary wine, too. I won't go anywhere else but Genesis!!!

This is my #1 nail place. I go here regularly and they are always accommodating! They really take the time to understand what you want and to help you decide on colors. Pros: - The wait time is usually not long, - a good place to go if you’re in a rush and need a good mani/pedi Cons: - no appointments on Fri/Sat -no other nail place will be better than this one Things are spectacular here. I called to make an appointment for myself and my bridal party. Kevin (I think 😬 I’m terrible with names) was super accommodating. The appointment was at 1pm on a Saturday, so a very busy time. I called to confirm my appointment a day or two beforehand. He verified with me my appointment and services. Saturday came and everything was perfect. I saw his management skills in action while he was doing my nails. He was very nice to everyone. And my nails 🥰 are perfect. I told him a wanted an ombré full set from natural to black. He let me know the potential issues with it and walked me through his process. I showed him my inspiration picture (the screenshot below) and I feel like he really just copy, pasted my picture onto my nails. They’re exactly what I wanted and the service was beyond exceptional. I will definitely be returning and recommending Genesis to everyone. (Just as a heads up, they’re not doing acrylic nails from this point, just SNS) I genuinely loved my experience.

I’m from out of town and come to visit my daughter here. This week I was here and chipped my nail. I walked in and asked if they could repair it for me. They were busy but took me in and realized another nail was in need of repair. They fixed both as we talked of my daughter and how she gets her nails done there. They remembered her. The phone was ringing off the hook with people requesting appointments since it was two days before Thanksgiving. He answered each call politely and apologized to me for the interruption. When my repairs were finished, he wouldn’t take any money even though I urged and urged! What service and kindness! That doesn’t happen very often in this day! I highly recommend this salon! High quality people!

I highly recommend Genesis Nails. I have been several times now and have had many different technicians. Never disappointed - quality of the pedicures and manicures is fantastic. I recently had my nails done by Quyuin and she was great! They let you make appointments too so wait time nearly doesn’t exist this way. COVID protocols are in place and I always feel safe there.

I always get my pedicures here and they are always great, however I never get manicures anywhere I go because my nails never hold the color on my nails (Or I used to think they didn’t). I have tried gel nails, SNS, and regular polish and my nails ALWAYS chip after 3-4 days no matter the type of manicure, when done at other places. I got a manicure at genesis 2 weeks ago and not a single chip in my nail color so far! Colors looks still as vibrant as the day I got the manicure and I have been rock climbing, kayaking, went to the beach, and other regular daily activities. I’m so impressed and will continue to use Genesis for as long as I live in Birmingham 😊

I’ve been here several times and each time I can’t believe the quality of the gel’s on my nails. They seem to last forever! The salon takes excellent care of Covid protocol and you can see how serious they take it. I highly recommend the salon over any other in Birmingham that I have tried.

By far the very best nail salon I've been too. Definitely worth the drive. I saw Tammy, who I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE. She did a fantastic job. She paid attention to detail and my nails look great because of it. No bubbles, nails are even and symmetrical, perfect length, and the acrylic isnt thick and bulky. I've been shopping around for a good salon to call "home." Finally found it. I won't be going anywhere else. It's a clean place with a 100% health rating, which is important to me. Prices are reasonable and comparable to other salons. Complimentary drink service too, wine or water, which I thought was pretty great. I have to make about a 25 minute drive to get there from home but it's worth the drive. I don't know about the other nail techs and their work but Tammy is my new go to girl.

I have been going to Genesis for 6 years and I can honestly say it’s the best nail salon ever. I like to think of myself as a manicure commissioner. I used to write a blog devoted strictly to manis and polish so I know my stuff! My latest manicure has been the topic of conversation everywhere I go. The best nail salon ever!!! Always quality, professional work and my pedicure lasts at least a month! Nails are still glossy and no chipping! They really take their time with you and don't rush. They make you feel special. It's super clean and the workers are very friendly! They offer you Champaign or water to drink. I love them!!!!

AMAZING nail spa! I'm just mad I waited so long after my friends told me how wonderful Genesis is to actually visit. During my first visit, P. Dang did a wonderful job with my gel manicure so now I make all of my appointments with her. Let me say this -- I've been wearing gel manicure since my sophomore year of undergrad (now 8 years ago) and my manicure has never lasted 3-4 weeks. With P. Dang, it does and I absolutely love it! However, I do hear that every technician there is top notch. I now live in Macon, Georgia and Genesis is still my primary nail salon. So yes, I travel over 200 miles just for a gel manicure (and, of course, to visit family and friends).

My SNS nails last longer and look much better when I get them done at Genesis. It's best to make an appointment ahead of time because they stay really busy. I always get Quyhn to do mine because I feel like she cares a lot about making them look the way I want. She's quick, but doesn't rush through it carelessly.

We had a bridal party here the day before my wedding. It was absolutely perfect. Kristine and the rest of the staff made sure we were all taken care of and suggested/executed gel nails for most of the wedding party. I communicated with her via email and sent pictures of nails I liked beforehand. She did gel nails with ombre glitter on the tips and it came out beautifully. Highly recommend this salon for a bride looking for a professional salon with easy staff in the Birmingham area. Prices were very reasonable. We were staying at a hotel downtown and it was but a 10 minute drive away. Absolutely perfect!

I'm from out of town and its so hard to find a decent nail salon when traveling. I Googled this place and after reading the reviews I thought humm I'll try them. So glad I did. The staff was great and the service was even better. I really enjoyed my tech she was super friendly and up to date with the stiletto shape nail...go Kim! Only thing that caught me off guard was the price for a acrylic fill $30..little over priced but it was worth it.

I like them a certain way and there's little room for error (lol) so taking the time to pay close attention to detail is a must. I’ve been to Genesis before. Today my husband went in for a pedicure. His feet are still almost completely calloused over. His toes look great compared to when he went in but the bottoms of his feet are awful. I have always had a 5* service but his only time coming in was less than expected. He’s pretty disappointed because I made him drive 35 minuets and pass MANY other salons as I insisted Genesis was the best.

This salon does a fairly decent job on gel pedicure and dip ( SNS ) nails. You don’t get much of an actual manicure with your nails when you get them. For $10 extra they will soak your finger tips in warm water a few minutes and put a little bit of lotion on. Very minimal cuticle attention. It’s always VERY busy in there and very loud. I think because they serve wine. People start getting a little buzz and it gets a bit loud. Even if they aren’t drinking the sheer number of people in there makes it loud. Personally, when I get my treatments it’s part of some relaxation time for me. This is not a relaxing environment at all for me.

I got a classic pedicure for $30. They offer you red or white wine which you can drink during your pedicure. While they do your pedicure, you get to sit in a comfy massage chair. The staff was very nice and attentive, and they do a great job.

The owners and most of the workers are great. This is my go to, but today my experience was not good. There are fingerprints on 2 of my nails and I could see my nail coming out the side of my nail extension!! Then I was told how I don't look good with a certain nail length/shape.

I came here a couple times and did mani pedi and all with appointments. Everyone I went with the same lady (Asian with glasses). I thought she’s ok until I started going to other nail place and also started doing my gel nails at home after getting things from AliExpress: 1)example, she hurt my toes during pedi and she didn’t apologize. Instead she said my toes need more “cleaning” and that’s why it gonna hurt. (2) one time she did an ombré with powder for me and she left so much gel under the nails and it stuck with my nail beds and fingers and she’s like that’s how it is with powder gel. Now I am doing my nails at home and started to realize that’s not how it supposed to be like and felt a bit awful that I didn’t say anything before. Don’t remember her name though. 3 star cuz the other people at the salon seem to be nicer
