I got my nails done closer to where I live and called hollywood nails for a soak and set as the other place left me highly disappointed . Not only did they completely fix my nails… but they look beautiful! they are so nice and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and well treated !!!! More than a few friends recommended this place and I am very happy!!!

Excellent service! Was able to make an appointment that worked great and got a pedicure and dip powder nails. I’m very picky and usually have a hard time finding nail techs that are as detail oriented as I like. All I had to say was the shape I wanted and the length and that was it. Both of my nail techs (one did my pedicure and another one did my dip nails) were so sweet and friendly and it was a great experience! I left with exactly what I wanted and I’ve never been so happy with my nails before! The pedicure was amazing and the leg massage was just what I needed! Definitely found my new nail place!

Best. Nail. Salon. EVER!! The family that runs this business is AMAZING! They’re so kind and talented and I just can’t express how happy I am as a customer. They’re amazing! And my nails are gorgeous! I combined three designs I couldn’t decide on and the young lady was like “I got you girl.” BAM! Best nails! I’m still drooling over them! The mother was so kind too! I will not be going to any other salon when I’m in Anchorage. These are my absolute favorite people, hands down! 5 stars! 10/10! Best EVER!!

I found my new nail salon!! Yay!! Exceeded my expectations! Not overly priced either🥳 I normally go somewhere else for nail sets and fills and thankfully they were booked!! So I started my search for a different place and found Hollywood Nails😁 I got the same quality of fills + CARE!! I'll take the CARE because without the care you won't get quality! Love Love Love!!

Amazing nail salon!!! I went with my fiancé to get mani pedis the day before our wedding in Girdwood. I got dip with tips and they are some of the best I’ve ever had. I wanted a very natural friend/American. I showed a reference pic and she did an even better job than the reference. My toes look excellent too. My fiancé got a basic mani pedi without polish. We were treated by all 3 nail techs and they all were great. If I am ever in AK again I would definitely come here. Salon is clean, friendly, excellent service, and high quality nails!

Vy always does an excellent job! I look forward to my regular nail appointment with her. In the past, my nails would chip often before the two weeks came for my fill. Since I’ve started seeing Vy, my mani lasts 3 weeks and still looks good. The selection of colors and her ability to do designs is the best! Great customer service. Thanks, Vy!

ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT HERE I spent four months trying to find a good nail place in town and this is it!!! They've done an outstanding job every time and I always leave happy with my nails. Everyone who works here is sooo nice and I haven't gone anywhere else since coming here ❤️❤️

So this is my new nail place! I have a standing appointment with V. V is amazing. She's friendly, she works SUPER hard, and she's meticulous. I walk in with pictures of nails from Pinterest and I get them (barring tools like stamps that they don't have). Even then, V goes out of her way to hand paint stamped/press on designs that I like. I am incredibly happy with her skills as a nail technician. She's gentle on my very dry cuticles and in the 4 acrylic sets I've gotten, I've lost 1 nail. This is also a family owned business. I never went before the management change, but they are all very welcoming. V works with her mom and cousin. The cousin does admin and her mom helps out with nails then they have any overlap. They're wholesome and locally owned. I'm excited to support their business!

Hollywood Nails is under new management and they are fantastic! V squeezed me in for a quick shellac change and she was SO fast and they turned out great! Perfectly smooth and precise edges around the cuticles. Great price too. I will definitely be back. Would highly recommend. I’ve tried other nail salons in Anchorage and this is by far the best one I’ve been to.

I called them for a full set and was able to get in last min appt. This is the first time i ever left an review. Went in for my birthday today (11/05) and Vee was the one that did my nails. She definitely took her time and did a beautiful job on my nails. I cant stop looking at my nails 😍. I am definitely going to go back to her! She’s so nice and the place was clean!

I've gone to Hollywood nails for years and I've never been unhappy. I will say the husband does the best work. He is always very careful when filling my nails so they are never sore. I went in once and he was busy with anther client and I couldn't wait so I went back the next day and remembered me and apologized and gave me a discount. I don't go as often as I used to but he always remembers by name I will never go anywhere else to get my nails done. As for the kiddos there it is a family business so get over it . Its a family business and I've always been treated like family and he doesn't take forever to get my nails done where other places take an hour or longer. They have a great selection of nails the conversation is always wonderful. So please if one of the owners read the bad reviews don't take them to heart you guys are wonderful and you definitely have a loyal customer base. God bless you and your beautiful family

I really loved this place and the fact that my fingers were not all cut up after was unbelievable. My nails lasted a good amount of time and the girl who did my nails was considerate and was good at holding a conversation. The people here are so nice and hard working and I really appreciate that they took the time to do my nails the right way.

Between Anchorage, the valley, and Fairbanks, "V" @Hollywood Nails has Been the only nail tech to NOT argue with me about wanting long stilettos. She is easy to describe exactly what you want. V has NEVER disappointed me and I've referred many friends her way. I literally brag about V being my nail tech, that's how much I love her! I've never ran into a scheduling problem and she is usually ready for an appointment within 30 min AT MOST of me calling. I will probably never go anywhere else. Thank you V!! 💞

I didn’t get her name but it was my first time going and getting gels done! I clean houses so they help my nails not peal from the chemicals and hard scraping I do. The day after I had a big cleaning and not one chip!! She did an amazing, fast and awesome job!! I found my new place to get gels!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I've been going to Hollywood Nails for 3 years. Thao and Jimmy are great. Yes, they often times have the kiddos at the salon, but they are exceptionally well behaved and really pretty cute. Jimmy does my nails and I don't even have to tell him what I want, he just does it perfectly. They last a long time and he's fast. I get my nails done on my hour long lunch break! They remember who you are and will even say hi if they see you in public. I quit getting my nails done for a year and a half because I had a new baby and just didn't have the time. When I went back (not expecting them to know me) they greeted me warmly and asked about my baby! I've never left dissatisfied!

This was like the 2nd nail shop I went to since I've been here... and it's as close as I've gotten in the lower 48. After a while, I tried to venture out to other nail shops that had higher ratings and even ones with not so high ratings, and I just ended up right back here. I gave it 5 because like I said, it's the closest that I'll get to the states, the guy is really good (he's the only one who's done my nails), and their customer service is good. He remembers everyone that comes. It really doesn't bother me that they bring their kids, lol what does that have to do with how they do nails?! I bring mine sometimes, so I don't care.

Best place to get eyelash extensions! As well as best manicures and pedicures in Alaska. Recently got eyebrows tattoo and Thao did excellent by listening to my fears about it and the results are amazing! Love the natural look and my confidence skyrocket! Been going to this place for about 18 years. Love Hollywood nails! Love Thao!

1st of all im from CA and i have gotten my eyebrows done since i was a young girl... i have gone to MANY place in town to get them waxed and have had HORRIBLE experiances!!! everyone left them looking worse then b4!
