A haircut is excellent, the conversion easy and the price is an absolute steal. Ty is a very likeable guy and has no issues with last minute appointments or walk-ins. 100% recommend

I’ve been to Ty’s twice now to get my beard trimmed and I forgot to leave reviews, the beard trims were perfect and the conversation was great. Did a straight razor shave on my neck with hot foam. He also uses some great smelling aftershave, I had never used aftershave before but I have since then. I gotta remember to ask him what kind it was when I go there today. He’s got good music playing always and the atmosphere is super chill. I’m never trimming my own beard ever again, or letting the wife do it.

Had a great first experience at Ty's! The haircut was awesome. Haven't got a cut in 5 months so I was extremely shaggy. Asked Ty to shorten the sides and do what he though would look best. Turned out awesome! The barbershop was unlike anywhere I've been before. It had a chill and positive vibe. The wait was short. Ty had good tunes playing. He was relaxed and very easy to talk to. We had a great conversation. I recommend Ty's barbershop to everyone. This is my new spot.

Single barber in the shop. Nothing fancy like The Man Salon or other places, but he does a darn fine job at cutting hair. Polite conversation the entire time. Was interesting to get a straight razor for the back of the neck, but it was the closest shave I've ever gotten there. Would recommend and go again.

What is usually 30minutes of crying and moms broken heart was instead 10 minutes of calm and smiles for us both for the rest of the day!

I'm a younger guy who likes a good barber-style cut. Good barbers in Sioux Falls, especially for modern fade cuts, are few and far between in my experience. Finally, though, I found Ty's shop. Not only is Ty a super nice guy, he is seriously good at his craft. He's detail oriented, tidy, and efficient. He also spotlights local artists, which is super cool. Five stars!

I was recommended to Ty's by a friend. My friend said that Ty was a skilled barber and knows exactly what he's doing. So I went in there about 2 weeks ago and I Ty exceeded every expectation I had. His shop is clean, has a retro feel to it, and the guy knows how to cut hair and shape beards. I have since recommended him to anyone I know that's looking for a real barber. Stop in, you won't be disappointed.

Went to 2 other packed places before I found this little place tucked away. Walked in to one guy in the chair and nobody else inside. I sat down and the guy with this pink mullet/mohawk says he's ready for me (I don't personally go for this style for myself, but something about it made me feel I was in good hands). I sit down in his vintage barber chair. starts hand cranking the chair in place and he asks what I want. All I say is that the top should stay the same, but the sides and back should be shaved down to basically skin. He followed the directions perfecy, but gave both the sides and the back a really clean, neat fade. He even took out the straight razor to make the back have a real nice line. This guy takes real pride in his profession, and he makes your hair look fantastic. I am not kidding when I say that I have had maybe one other haircut that holds a candle to this one in my 36 years. You will not be disappointed. It's quick, clean, and he will give you exactly what you want, while still adding a little extra creative touch that puts him a step above most others.

Shop was tidy, clean and organized. Ty is skillful and efficient. Prices are much better than previous places I've been. I liked my haircut and beard trim, just what I wanted and my wife says it looks great. Ty, you just earned yourself a regular customer!
