Amazing barbershop. Michael the owner is such an awesome guy. Very talented, know what he is doing and Michael and his team ill give you a 5 start Service. From the welcome to the honest prices to the amazing service. They are so talented. I have been going to Michael now for about 3 years followed him from the old store to this new one. He does an amazing job with haircut, but man the beards. He is a pro at giving you a perfect beard to match your amazing hairstyle. And the hot towel at the end is the cherry on top!!

Was on a 10 hour layover in Phoenix Sky Harbor when I went decided to go out into the town to sight see. On a spur of the moment I stopped at Hairflix to get a quick cut before my flight. And I have to say it was one of the quickest and best looking haircuts I’ve had. Mikel went above and beyond what he had to do to make sure the customer was happy. As well as the other staff being very friendly and accommodating as well. Really recommend anyone in the area or that is stopping by.

This place was great! Everyone was friendly, and it was clean. What is great, is they take walk-ins and are open late PLUS open 7 days a week! I'm new to the Phoenix area, and glad to say my boys have a new barbershop they can trust. We will definitely be back. Naz did one hair cut, and unfortunately I cannot remember the other young man's name but he was great too!

I was in search of a new barber in town and Hairflix was recommended. It was THE BEST barbershop I have been to in Tempe and Sergio gave me the BEST FADE I have had. Great price and a tremendous experience. I highly recommend this barbershop and Sergio. *UPDATE This is the best shop in town. Sergio never disappoints. Michael, the owner, is always quick with a hello and a welcoming vibe.

I almost always leave with a great haircut, and when I didn't, they fixed the mistake free of charge. Overall I really enjoy this place, but one thing I'd critique is the use of their personal cell phones. I don't typically mind, but I noticed that when they are taking a 25 minute call during the service, it affects the quality of work I end up leaving with. I think Hairflix should have a team meeting regarding this, as I've seen other reviews mention this as well.

I got a "Complete Makeover" package, and let me tell you, I feel as a brand new man to say the least. Here is what this package includes: haircut, beard trim, face scrub and facial mask, and finished it off with a shampoo and styling. It's by far the best experience I have ever had in a barbershop, try "Complete makeover" your self and you will know what I mean.

Got a haircut by sergio. Haircut was great, he gave me exactly what I asked for. However, upon waiting for my cut and while receiving my cut I noticed the music was not changing. It seemed like the same song over and over again. Although my cut was great, I don’t think I would come back because the music was so frustrating. A change in genre every now and then would be great!

This barber shop is the best in the universe it is insane they have the best fades and a lot of barbers 8 chairs and they dont do just hair they do facial cleaning eyebrow threading and they also do perms and they never mess up they have drinks and candy and they will give you discounts if you dont have enough money and they have a atm for you in the shop it is so clean and they are welcome everytime you come in and they talk with you about your day and stuff and you can never get bored if you seem you are having a bad day they will talk to you and make you feel better I for sure recommend this barber shop

This place is really good. I’ve known Michael, the owner, for the past four years when he worked at another place and in all that time I’ve never had one bad experience. Walked In for a haircut after finding them online and reading nothing but phenomenal reviews. My experiences at other local shops have been very poor, so I decided to find a new barber. This place was very neat and clean inside and had a great feel and looked very professional. They greeted me immediately and were happy to take a walk in. Michael was cutting my hair less than a minute later. He cut my hair exactly how I asked, was great conversation, and clearly knew how to cut a mans hair. He used a certain technique when blending my hair that I have never seen and it was phenomenal. I could just tell it was going to look good as he was cutting it… He was very quick, but not rushing. The man has skills. My haircut was only $20 and Michael even asked me how I would like my beard trimmed and trimmed my beard for free as well. They offer customers free cans of soda and water also. If you want someone who understands customer service and is beyond professional go to Hairflix Barbershop in Tempe on the corner of Dorsey and University and ask for Michael!! - Happy Customer Kody Also, I just had to come back and edit this review because I forgot to mention the wonderful cologne he gave me a few dashes of at the end and the way he styled my hair was amazing. I came here to get a straight razor shave! Michael was hesitant at first and offered a buzz cut before bringing out the straight razor. I've been shaving my head for a year now and felt a little weird getting questioned about the straight razor, but he did do it and also exfoliated my head without me asking, so that was nice! Over all, the place seems good. I'm a little sad because there's a bit of hair left around my industrial piercing, but everything else worked out nice for a good price. Very minimal improvement needed next time. I definitely recommend them, though. (:

Moved here 3 years ago and work throughout the valley, have been hitting random shops but everyone else has a stupid niche or appointments only "when you walk in to 6 empty chairs..." It was unbelievable how hard it was to find a shop! Not only did he fix my busted haircut, he gave me the best fade I’ve ever had in my life. This man is an artist, a true craftsman. I originally met Michael - the owner of HairFlix - years ago when I was desperately searching for a place to get my haircut at 7PM on a Sunday for a date I was going on that night. Fast forward to approximately 4 years later, and there isn’t any other barber that I’ll let cut my hair. Michael has been cutting hair for over 20 years and that experience shines through in his work. They say it takes 10,000 hours to become a master, and I think Michael has largely surpassed that standard - and it shows. I’m very particular about my hair, my fade, line-up, and shave. And very early on in my patronage with Michael I realized I didn’t even need to verify his work when he would attempt to show me with the barber mirror when he was finished cutting my hair (even though he’s very professional and tries to do so everytime regardless). My haircut is perfect every single time. And he does everything he can to make me and his other customers happy. I know men can be far more particular than even women when it comes to their hair because imperfections in a haircut show through and standout much more in shorter hair that most men have. But I can assure anyone reading this review that if you’re looking for a new barber or a place to get a haircut for any reason, you’ll be in good hands at HairFlix. I’m happy to say that the barbershop patronage I’ve offered Michael has turned into a friendship over the last years and he deserves the sparkling recommendation I hope can be found within the narrative of this review.
