Made a decision to change to a new shop as my old barber ended up going on tour as a stylist for a musician. Decided on S&S as it was a recommendation from a good friend that’s an investor. Awesome concept and like the subscription packages. Shannon is great, and keeps full notes of your preferences and the previous cut which helps quite a bit. Overall very happy with the transition, as finding the right barber can be tough based on personal preference.

I visited Scissors & Scotch for the first time today at the Brentwood Location. Right off the bat, I was welcomed in by Ryan, the bar lead, and had a drink at the bar while waiting. The bar area was very clean and Ryan was great overall. He spent time explaining the membership options to me which I truly appreciated. Shortly after, I went to the haircut room with Stephen. I had ordered the 25 year cut, which I'd highly recommend. Stephen was on top of everything and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. It was one of the best haircut experiences I've had in a while. I'd highly recommend Scissors & Scotch. They have a unique concept with enjoying drinks before and after the cut along with packages that include massages, beard trims, and shaves.

Just got the best haircut and beard trim I have ever had. The best way to describe it would be to call it an "experience". Sarah P did a FANTASTIC job. I called my boss when I got to the parking lot and told him to try it out next time he was in town. Shannon was real good @ razor shave . I’ll be back . Also , i left my sunglasses (which i cannot live without) and the front desk guy texted me and said they’ll hang onto them until i can get back. But anyways , ask for Shannon if you need a shave . The price was the only drawback but its Brentwood, so what the hell . And U get a drink .

Details!!! Cmon Now, I cant even begin to start to explain the amount of incredible things that Scissors & Scotch offers its customers(which are treated like family, BTW)!!! The moment I walked in, I was immediately "Welcomed" into the fold and made to feel that I was a regular or local!! Sara P (my barber), greeted me with such enthusiasm and fervor, then explained to me just what my experience was gonna encompass. WOW, is all I can say, then when we sat down where she and I created a hairstyle(she pulled inspiration from our conversation),which ended up just franlky "blowing my mind".....Oh did I forget to mention that "with every cut ya get a drink?? Yup, ya heard that correct..a drink before or after (umm why would ya before but if your early sure haha, cause I wanna show off this new cut!!) So, to finish my lil blurb for ya'll, this is the hands down best freakin concept that will keep ya coming back, yes they offer memberships that keep ya lookin fresh to just continuing "livin your best life"!!! I would feel remiss also not mentioning that if ya also want to pop in for a great cocktail or libation, thats encouraged too!!! Scissors and Scotch just takes everything to the next level, so level up and ensure you give them a visit!!!!!

I’ve been here a couple times and the staff is just excellent. In the back room: I got my haircut from Jason and immediately booked another cut and a membership, Jason’s diligence and desire to make my hair cut perfect was impressive. He went out of his way and make sure even the smallest of hairs lined up. In the front room: you have an amazing bartender Ryan who knows just about everything distillery you could want to. Karrah runs most everything else and is a very hospital-able and friendly. If you want a solid cut and some great service this is the place!

Just moved out to the Nashville area and tried this location for the first time. It was an exceptional experience! Sara Ann took great care of me during my 25 Year experience here. Although she said she was a beautician and not a magician, the overall experience was nearly magical. After an incredible haircut, facial, paraffin hand dip, and hand/face/shoulder/neck massages, I felt amazing. Afterward I enjoyed a cherry smoked old fashioned with Woodford Reserve which felt like a happy memory from a hunting trip out in the woods and mountains. I cannot recommend trying out this barber shop enough. You won't regret it!

This location and Chelsea Trejo were the ABSOLUTE best I've ever had. Can't say enough about how relaxing the experience was here with Chelsea. She is truly one of the best hair stylists I've ever come across, and I've had my hair cut all over the country. Her people skills, likeability, and skill set and top-notch. From entering the building I immediately felt welcome, then when Chelsea took me back it was like having a conversation with a friend. The hot towel amenity was really nice too while your hair is being washed. Again I can't say enough praise for Chelsea Trejo, she definitely has raised the bar for service you should expect from a hair stylist. Be sure to check out this location and ask for Chelsea. You'll walk away with your next appointment already booked!

Great haircut. Decent selection of beverages to choose from. Good atmosphere. I was able to get a quality scissor cut and not a covid style shearing ( not a big fan of the electric sheep shears )like most places deliver only. Personable stylist and a manager on-site taking care of the business side so the stylists can take care of you rather then stopping every 3 to 5 minutes to handle a client walking in. Getting harder to find service oriented businesses like this. Definitely recommend you try them.

Everything about my experience here was amazing. Beginning with being greeted by Ryan, the bartender, and being offered a drink while I waited for my appointment, to my stylist Bethany who is incredibly talented and gave me an amazing haircut. I even decided to stay after to have another drink and met the owner, Kevin, who was extremely friendly and welcoming. 10/10. This will be my new spot for sure. I’m not gonna hold anything back. Because scissors and scotch didn’t either! An incredible atmosphere right when you walk in. I like that the crew there isn’t “fake nice” everyone is genuine and easy to talk to. I got my hair cut, eye brows waxed, hair washed and havnt felt this good in a long time! My stylist was incredible but also everyone getting their hair cut by me and even their stylists were joining in conversation making me really feel at home. It’s a very interesting concept, You can enjoy a drink while you wait, or after you get your haircut. Friendly welcoming and all that sappy stuff. What really got me was the honesty and humbleness of the girl that cut my hair. I’m used to getting haircuts with the razor. She was honest about that not being her thing. But once I finished she finished the haircut she took me up front and asked the owner to talk to me about it for future reference on how to book it online so that another stylist would pop up. Overall I’m satisfied. Next time I’m sure I’ll know who to ask for. Oh did I mention you can enjoy a drink!! Even if you’re not getting a haircut, you can drop in and have a drink or two. And just enjoy a very nice welcoming environment.

Amazing business concept come have a luxury haircut for gentleman and get a free drink but to top it off you don’t even have to get a haircut you can relax at the bar with a knowledgeable whiskey sommelier! The owner truly cares about his clients and I 100% recommend to anyone looking for an amazing barber or old fashioned!

I've been here 7 or 8 times and had a hair cut by almost every stylist and never had a bad cut or experience. Normally I would request a stylist that I know does a good job but you literally can't choose a bas one. I signed up for the membership and co.w back every 3 weeks. Plus you get free clean ups between cuts. I have no need to go anywhere else.

Game day specials are a plus with a very inviting atmosphere for an afternoon event with friends or coworkers. They have food and coffee to also enjoy. Great place. Not cheap, but I've never been to another upscale barbershop (salon?) before so all I know is it's more than I've usually payed. I have very curly hair, which can be daunting when looking for a new person to cut my hair. Chantel did an excellent job, and really knew how to work with curly hair. Can't beat a drink included as well. I will definitley be going back to see her when I need another trim up.

I went first thing on a tuesday morning and opted for coffee rather than an adult beverage but the bar variety was nice. Class, atmosphere and and ambiance are the main selling point here and they really make the customer feel welcomed and valued.

I figured I had to try this place because of its unusually high rating. It turns out the stars don't lie - you will get a great haircut without a lot of fuss (ask for Rhonda, who used to cut for some famous country stars), and can hang out in the full bar (drinking quality bourbon) as long as you like.
