I was told about this barber shop from a friend after recently moving into town. Having a wedding to attend, I figured I'd give them a shot. I was a walk-in, and Gail happily accepted me on the spot and gave me the best cut I've had. I've been a repeat customer refusing to visit other shops and making appointments with Gail. All of the barbers are welcoming and friendly at all hours of the day, and being able to have a cold beer while you wait is always a win with me!

This place doesn't need my review; it appears to have a following already. But on my visit each barber had a different personality and vibe, and they are allowed to express it in their space; All of them seem friendly, and "regulars"appeared to be the main customers during my visit. Each barbers work space seemed to be unique with music and personal touches that give the shop a great atmosphere. Appointments are preferred, and there was a slow response to walk-ins, not the barber shop of old where you can run in for a quick trim it appears. Dudes on my visit was staffed by both male and female barbers, No uniforms or bland appearance standards; barbers were comfortable and at ease. *Note; all the female barbers were really attractive, but this isn't a Hooters; don't allow the name of the place or appearances to fool you; my impression was each is a talented, serious, well trained, and experienced barber. My barber was a younger male who knew the proper technique for a military haircut. Fast but not rushed, attention to detail was great. He really took pride in his craft. Not the old single chair shop; it's more modern, younger, but still a good place for anyone needing a haircut. The price was good. I'd recommend this place.

Jordan is amazin💯 you Kno u have a good barber/hair dresser when they pull out a str8 blade she definitely knows what she's doing😉 not gonna lie I walked in there an was like damm I hope this dude cuts my hair sumtimes a woman cuttin a guys hair is not the best but hands down so glad she was the one I got!!!! Great place. Not perfect, but the perfect places are on the other side of the milky way. Great cutting, very involved, detailed, thorough - and a lot of work for a very reasonable price. Been going there for 2-3 years. Had Lauren the last 2 visits and she is excellent. Very personable and skilled at what she is doing. I will ask for her from now on .

I have been going to Dude's for over a year and I've always had excellent haircuts. I went just yesterday and was very impressed with how they are handling the re-opening since COVID-19. They have had to transition from walk in business to entirely online and they seem to have done that seamlessly. They have scaled-back on the number of barbers to make more space in between clients. All customers have to wear masks as do all barbers. Gina, my barber, Is very good as always. I highly recommend Dudes.

Took my 1.5 y/o nephew to get a boys cut. He saw Liz and she was amazing. We were seen right away the service was extremely friendly and proffessional and she made my nephew so comfortable he actually sat through the whole thing without a fuss. Reasonable pricing and a great experience, would definitely recommend this place!!

Been several times for our boys' haircuts (ages 2 and 3). Never had to wait more than 20 minutes. First come, first serve model, though you can request your favorite on the list. Very good with kids. My husband also gets his cuts there! Reasonable prices, great staff, great cuts!

I drive across town to get my haircut here. Top notch professionals, clean workspaces, and big screen TVs if there is a wait. And there can be, not usually that long, but with good reason. They do good work. I've had Kevin, Keith, and Josh recently. All great. I don't recommend any one over the other. Go here for a great cut.

My son and I get our hair cut here. Its a nice atmosphere. I dont have a preference for one barber over the other, they each do a good job. The wait time can get long in the afternoons. I think they should offer a call ahead service to get your name on the list. But I keep going back anyway.

Great place. Very clean. Friendly staff. Average price for adult is $20. It is first come first serve. You can write in your go-to barber next to your sign in name. It May take a little longer instead of getting the next available barber. We go with Jordan, she's a fabulous Master Barber. If they are busy wait, times can be 1/2 hour to an hour, but worth it.

My husbands first trip here was GREAT! The guy listened and did an amazing job. I couldn't stop checking my husband out! Just came in today with him, pretty busy which was no problem. Different guy cut his hair this time. The worst haircut I've ever seen! My husband had stragglers all over his neck. He cut his lines way too thin and left way too much hair on his chin. So now my husband paid $25 and is now in the bathroom shaving his face because of how disappointed he was. My advice is to stick with barber who did it right the first time. Just feel like not only did we waste our time but we wasted our money!

I am Asian male and it's challenging to get neat haircut especially in new England Area. Not many hair stylist have experience cutting thick and dense asian hair. I got perfectly satisfying hair cut from Gail and it was cool hearing the history of this barbershop. Thank you and I will be coming back! P.S they seemed very prepared for Covid-19 sanitizing. Place was clean, mask was encouraged and Gail was confident to go through this hard times well prepared.

I don't know who 'Spike' is because I only started going last year. This is also my first "real" barbershop experience. With that said, I'm happy with Dude's. I've had excellent cuts from three stylists (usually go to Josh now). The hot towel shave is wonderful! It's also wonderful that they all use a straight razor, and even use it to clean the back of my neck. Good haircuts, good prices, and good company. I highly recommend. Keep in mind that there might be a wait on Saturday mornings and other busy times.

Great place if you want a really good haircut. They take their time and do a good job. You pay for it though as they charge more than any other barber I've been to. Gail was great with my son's first haircut!

Haven't had a bad haircut yet. Good variety of styles and lots of chairs. It does get busy but there plenty of sitting room and it goes pretty quick. Process are reasonable and the stylists are perfectionists.

Probably the best hair cut i've gotten in a long time. "Lorin" was great and kept me laughing the whole time. Only thing that could make it better is if they had a little bar or just sold beer, something to make the wait go by a little faster.

Got in quick after work and sat right away. being open til 6 allows me to stop In right on my way home. The staff all does a great job. The only thing is they charge you more if you choose to use a card. In modern times there should be no difference for a customer

Gail cut my hair for many years beginning when Spike and Kevin bought the place down on Webster Street. We moved to Arizona almost 3 years ago and I have yet to find a barber even close to Gail!! Nor Nor have I found the atmosphere of Dude's I really miss it.

If you want a fun and very professional barber experience I suggest you check this place out. I used to go to Dudes years ago when it was in Manchester and had 3 chairs. Well they have moved to Hooksett and added several more chairs. Sometimes there is a wait to get in a chair, but when you do it is well worth the wait.

I go there everytime I need a haircut and I love it. Doug always does my hair for me and he does it very well. He gives me a shave on the back of the neck too. I have no complaints about this wonderful place. :)

I have been going to this barbershop for over 4 years and never regretted it. I onetime went to a different barber and over paid for a bad cut and have since remained tried and true with dudes. I am greeted everytime I enter. The wait can be long sometimes but I have never minded wating 45 mins plus to get my hair cut.

Good environment,they definately do not rush, which is good to an extent, but turnarounds between cuts could be 1/3 of the time easy if they would stay on task...good professional barbers,would come again,just maybe when it's less busy...had to wait for an hr and there were only 6 people in front of me...5 star spot if they could get time management down

I moved to NH in Feb and I was looking for a barber around here that can cut my hair and line it up the way my barber did in the Bahamas, I found out about dudes one day driving to Shaws went in and saw Josh at work on a customer hair and was impressed with his skills and the line up. I've since moved to Boston for work and I drive to NH once a week to have my hair cut by Josh.
