I moved to the Fountain Square neighborhood recently (from Illinois) and made the unfortunate choice of going to Fatboys first when it became time for my first Indy trim. Fatboys is by far one of the BEST barbershops I've ever been to and I have no intention of trying out the competition. So it's unfortunate because my opinion is biased, very poorly researched, and based on a tiny sample size...1. But if you are a creature of habit that also loves connecting with neighborhood businesses while getting a sick skin-fade, then you know that finding a barbershop that feels right is a lot like falling in love; you just know. Luckily, you can't elope with a barbershop, or get it pregnant. With that in mind, I highly recommend checking out Fatboys Barbershop. They are cash and walk-ins only, so you should try and get there early in the day and leave some extra time in case there is a line.

Great barber shop! Great atmosphere! Super clean! Expert haircut specialists! I got my boys and nephew and I all cut for my daughters wedding and they gave us the royal treatment! Bald fades all around and it was smooth as a baby's butt! Straight razors and shaves are available as well and the pricing is as good aa you'll find in indy! This is definitely my new cut spot!!

Kevin White gave me the best first fresh fade. I have so many curls and he did a great job at getting my hair to lay down and be able to be styled still. Highly recommend. Will return. Heads up they have an awesome environment as well with games and music. It is cash only tho.

Very nice Shop! Everyone is always so friendly, they remember every customer by name and give you a wonderful personable experience while your there. The Barbers are very professional and can cut any type of hair. There is a nice/clean separate waiting area, if do not wish to wait in the chairs along the wall with big screens TV's, you can unwind and relax on leather sofas while your waiting or have the kids okay off to the side and safe. These Barbers really like to talk and be very involved with their clients. Everyone just kinda keeps a general topic going while your getting your Cut done. It's just a good and inviting place! The big tall one Fast Freddy is stationed right at the front door and makes sure to greet everyone as they come in and have a laugh or two with them while they are seated. The prices are average and this shop is the best value for the money. They do give discounts for medical and first responders!! The owner is very knowledgeable on his products he has there for sale. There's a wide selection very reasonably priced he will explain each product too you and custom fit something to your hair type and make sure your happy with it. They do have a ATM inside and except cards as well.

I just had a great haircut and experience at this barber shop. Tiffany was súper profesional, sweet, and even offer me suggestions. After the haircut, she offered me a hot towel around my knock that was the cherry on the cake. I left happy and relax. You do not need an appointment. I will definitely come back and recommend this place to everyone. Also...almost forgot...they have a nice waiting area, coffee, and if you have kids, they can wait watching TV. Cheers guys!!!

I was a little skeptical driving up in the dark, but walked in and received amazing service! If there is a long wait, you are welcome to watch TV or even play one of their game systems. Barber was amazing and was very quick for the first haircut as well as the next. Looks like I found my new barber for the new town!

I used to live in the area but have since moved. I still make the trip across town to get my haircut here. All of the barbers are really good. Waits can be kinda long sure, but they keep it moving, and honestly I don't blame them for having a lot of people coming in. They do really good work.

I was a first time customer this morning, I've been trying to visit this location but with my work schedule I wasn't able to until this morning. Now before I came in. I did my research and looked up the business and saw nothing but positive reviews which is really nice going into a new location especially Barbershop's. I was not a regular but the Owner Chris and his brother Kevin were both super cool guys. The atmosphere was very chill, relaxed. They made you feel at home and a part of the crew. And they went above and beyond with my haircut. They took their time and gave me not only a great experience but a great haircut. Long story short, I will be back and I will be recommend everyone and all my friends to come here. Great local business and great new addition to the neighborhood. Mad I didn't come in sooner. 5 STARS!!

I took my son to Classic Cuts on 10th st Friday June 12th 2020 for a simple fade, they gave my son a Forrest Gump fade/chili bowl. Saturday I took him to FatBoys and Chris fixed my son's hair and put a design in it, not to mention he did it for free. Hands down the best fade in indy, and Kevin wasnt busy so he was holding a solid conversation with me which is always nice. Very intelligent men and women dishin out legit haircuts here at FatBoys.
