I was in town for a wedding in Des Moines and I was in need of a haircut. Blades was one of the only barbers in the area accepting walk-ins, so I decided to give it a shot. When I walked in, the place was busy. But I was immediately greeted by friendly employees. I was soon assigned to a young barber named Tray. I gave him a brief explanation of the cut I was looking for and mentioned a beard cleanup. He did a fantastic job! In fact, it was probably the BEST haircut I'd gotten in months. A random chance in a new city proved to be a pretty great experience. Thanks again to Tray and thanks to Blades Barbershop!

Great barber shop. Even though they were busy, I got taken care of pretty quickly as a walk in. Lot's of barbers. I think there's usually like eight every time I've been in. They use the Booksy app for appointments. The prices for stuff are on there & totally up front. I suppose just pick whatever time works if you don't know anybody there. You're going to get great service from the guys (& gals) that work there.

Well jus got to say that I have found my Barbershop , Big shout out to VT for my cut . I was a walk in and he took the time to fade me up along wit beard trim when he finishedwit his client . I will definitely be going back to blades .

I was very impressed. I recently just moved back from out of state and was told this is the place to take my little ones. Everyone seemed friendly and both my boys walked out with adorable haircuts. We will be back for sure. Tyler was great with both kids but especially patient with my toddler who hasn't been to a barbershop before. I truly appreciate him making the effort for my little guy to have a good first experience. I am in love with how adorable his hair turned out. Thank you

The minute you walk in this place it feels great and I can’t give enough shout outs to my barber VT He does the best job and helped me find the right product. All of the barbers do one hell of a job. They work hard and deliver to the deal. VT makes me look fresh every time and is overall without a doubt a professional at what he does. The price is also very reasonable for the things they perform. Overall a amazing atmosphere as being their is almost like family. Overall I can’t recommend it enough. Go give it a shot because ever since I went for my first time I became a regular!

Hey, I come from Chicago I know what’s a good barbershop looks like and I have been having haircut in numerous barbershop here in Town none of them can’t get to the professionalism of this one. Wonderful shop - impeccably kept with real welcoming, chill vibes. Kalie absolutely CRUSHED my hairsnip. Whata talented barber. From the technical (which admittedly, I know little about but I know what I like) to the experience aspect of the cut, she was a pro through and through. Absolutely lovely human, true craftswoman. Probably the best and cleanest haircuts I've ever gotten! VT is a craftsman at what he does. Chill atmosphere with plenty of games playing on the TV's while you're waiting. Will definitely be back!

I went in just as a walk in and nobody really came to see me when I walked in just kinda looked at me. After a moment or so someone came and assisted me. Said I would have to wait because I was a walkin with no time frame just kinda wait until someone picks you lol I left went online and made an appointment with Kat and now that's our spot for sure!! She is awesome and efficient. I would recommend looking the barbers up if you are going to walk in because some don't do kids so your wait time may be lengthy.
