I’ve seen Andrew for years and wouldn’t even plan to go anywhere else. The shop itself is stunning and high end. The talent in this shop is amazing across the board. All the guys are personable and respectful. Plus talented and authentic which makes the shop even that much more unique.

Got my haircut from Bobby a few months ago and he made me feel like a brand new shiny penny to say the least. Best way to put it. I couldn’t have asked for a better trim. Layers? On point. Didn’t take too much or too little off my noggin and a lady always appreciates that! The energy in this place also doesn’t compare to any other. Extremely kind, genuine people working here. Really makes the atmosphere hard to not wanna go back. Love going into imperial for haircuts, tattoos or even just to say hi to some friends while they’re getting all dolled up. Tip these guys well, they absolutely deserve it!!! 100% the best shop in Burlington hands DOWN

Lovely art, great music, very relaxing. These guys are very passionate about they do, which gives a great feeling a trust every time I get a cut. After going through 3 barbershops in Burlington I can confident say they are the best in town. Highly recommend all around

I’ve been getting cut by Andrew for a few years now. Best barber in the state and best barber shop in general. I’ve had many friends make it their go to spot as well. I would highly recommend anyone give Imperial a try. Amazing environment with good tunes and great laughs. All are welcome.

I first brought my 7 year old son in early this year. Andrew C was great with him and he was excited to go to go back the next time with my husband. With a couple returns they have both seen Andrew J, Bobby and Qui. Always coming home looking fresh, like someone actually spent time to cut their hair to fit their head shape and style, not just a standard cut for a quick turn over.

Awesome shop with talented barbers! I live on the road and almost never see the same barber twice. I’ve experienced the full spectrum of barbershops and Imperial was amongst the best. Scheduled a cut with Qui last minute and he did an excellent job. A cut of this quality would cost three times as much in a lot of cities. Needless to say, if I’m ever back in Burlington, Qui and Imperial will have my business.

Imperial has only done positive things for this community by offering well-priced haircuts serviced by talented hair stylists. The safety of the business can be effected by the unfortunately unhoused members of the community due to the proximity to the intentially positive actions Battery Street Jeans. So, when you provide services to a variety of human beings, further actions and behavior needs to be considered, BSJ. Uneduacated and blindly mannered media lacks the historical knowledge of the employees of Imperial. Many, if not most, have suffered from the unfortunate effect of homelessness or substance abuse, and do everything they can to aid their costumers and community members with continued effort that goes outside of their career expectations. The Imperial owners strive to react in respectable manner; only to continue to offer their necessary services to those in need of a trim, shave, wax, or appropriate presentation needs.

Andrew is incredible! He was my barber for nearly 3 years until I moved. He is a true creative. His skills are absolutely undeniable. He does the best fades even on hair types like mine where it’s super difficult to achieve. He has extensive knowledge and creativity for days. I would absolutely trust him to do whatever he wants with my hair. Beyond that, he’s a great person. At first, I was initially intimidated at the concept of being a femme going to a Barbershop but Andrew always made me feel totally comfortable and right at home. I have nothing but respect for him and his work.

Andrew has always given me a high quality haircut, from different fades, scissors, styling post haircut, and etched in designs. He’s got talent, and genuinely loves what he does. He’ll also work with you on what you want. For example, if you want a certain style that may not be possible today due to hair length in certain areas of your scalp, he will adjust today’s haircut so that 2 or 3 haircuts later, he can get the hairstyle you’re looking for. Plus, you can stock up on all the clays, pomades, sprays, and powders they use in-shop. Andy also does a great job. I haven’t gotten a haircut from him, but he was Andrew’s apprentice, and I’ve seen the quality of work he delivers. Aside from services, the Imperial Collective has a cool atmosphere. Brick walls, wood floors, modern art, and good music (if you’re into hip hop). If you don’t want to pay for parking, park at the Cherry St garage. 5-10 min walk away. After your haircut you’ll want to show it off, so grab a drink or meal at the many businesses nearby. It’s less than 2 blocks from Church St.
