So I look on Google for a barber shop with over 4 stars and I see this place. Glad I went here. The atmosphere is very up beat. The barbers are all very good as everyone leaving had a good cut. Heather cut my hair and did a fantastic job. The price is more than I am use to paying for a haircut but you get top service. They cut my hair, then washed my head giving me a head massage and having a hot towel wrapped around my face. Then they shaved my neck. You can also grab a beer here, or soda. This is a great place and I highly recommend it.

I have been a member for 2 years. Always great hair cut. All locations have a great atmosphere but I prefer the downtown feel the most. You get a drink with your visit. Prices can't be beaten especially when considering the services you get. The only thing I wish is that they would take walk-ins.

I always leave feeling so much better than I did before I went in. Unlimited Haircuts for one monthly payment; no contracts. Hallelujah! I sprung for the Master Craftsman package, just short of $30. It comes with a Haircut, tea tree shampoo, hot towel, and an adult beverage of your choice. I went during lunch, so I opted for an energy drink, but water is available. You can walk in to get a hair cut, but I don’t suggest it. You can easily sign up online and schedule your appointments using an app available for iOS and Android. Haircuts are subjective to taste, so I’ll just say that my review of 5 stars reflects my Haircut and overall experience. Bonus points to the Local Business owner for bringing a new business plan to Boise, incessantly supporting Veterans, the Military, First Responders, and Law Enforcement. Highly recommended, just do your barber a favor and bring in some pictures for what your trying to achieve with your haircut or trim. Just as a courtesy, ya know? 😎

It was a great haircut experience, but came out to be my least favorite haircut. Who cuts hair like this? Why wouldn’t you cut around the ear instead of making a weird straight line… $30 and I’ll be uncomfortable with how my hair looks for 2-3 weeks. Thanks, but no thanks. I should’ve said something while I was there. The massage and shampoo was nice. Friendly staff. EDIT: Felicia called and offered to fix it. She gave me a skin fade and made it look a lot better. She also gave me a gift card to get another haircut and overall made me feel a lot better about the way I look. Really appreciate the above and beyond customer service.

This place is amazing! I have been a member sense they opened and have nothing bad to say. Tess Nails the cut every time and remembers the style. It may take a visit or two to find the stylist that you prefer, it’s worth it. If you like to keep a style, this is the place. Unlimited haircuts! Need I say more.

Been coming here for years, love the great services they provide. Always greeted warmly when entering and asked if I would like a cold beverage. Never have had to wait more than 5 minutes when I have had an appointment booked. Very easy app to use to book appointments. I always leave and receive compliments on my haircut and beard. Definitely 5 out of 5 stars for Jazmyne and the stylists at the Boise location.

Never been pampered in such a way, so will take some getting used to, but plan to go back again in couple of weeks. The app is a little weird some times with trying to set up appointments and if you don't use the clear when going back you can end up with multiple services. Sure there are some other services. Did get the straight razor on the back on the neck which actually felt pretty good. Thanks Angela.

Great service, receptive stylist who actually listens to requests. I have hair that grows quickly, so I am in every two weeks. Worth the $40 membership each month for a shave, a fade, and a high/tight...as well as a beverage. As a customer it's evident that the stylists/barbers work well independently and in tandem with each other. Cool old building too.

Jazmyne has been cutting my hair now for about seven months. She is absolutely fantastic! Not only is she a great barber, she is outgoing, friendly, and a superb conversationalist. And how many barbers do you know that actually keep notes on their clients? Jazmyne has earned my full trust and loyalty. If I had one complaint, it would be that it is sometimes hard to get an appointment with her due to her obvious popularity. My initial review six months ago was a 5-star; I'd give Craftsman Unlimited Haircuts a higher mark now, but 5 stars is already the top.

I love Craftsmen! Making an appointment couldn’t be easier with their app. The barbers are all very good which is a nice change because I can pick anyone depending on what time I need to get in and I don’t have to worry about a bad haircut. I’m very picky about who cuts my hair and I usually like to try and get in with the same girl but I also like knowing if she isn’t available I can have whoever is available it my hair and I won’t be disappointed. If you haven’t tried this place yet you have to give it a shot, you won’t be disappointed.

When moving out here I had trouble finding a good barbershop for a reasonable price. When a friend of mine suggested craftsman unlimited I was sold after my first cut. Craftsman Unlimited is by far the best barber shop that I have ever been to. Ever single barber there makes you feel more than welcome. They all treat you like your a long term friend. My barber Karlie is so awesome, it’s like getting a haircut from a best friend. She knows how I like my hair, when is the best time for me to get my haircut. We always have a great conversation while she cuts my hair. If at anytime she won’t be there for one of my appointment due to illness, she will let me know and try to either get another barber to keep my appointment or she will work on getting me rescheduled. She is just fantastic at what she does. I will never go to another barber shop again as long as they are in business. I am a member for life.

I got my haircut here on 6-26-18. When I walked in, the shop was clean and welcoming. Everyone was friendly and happy that I was there. They walked me through the process of getting signed up and offered me a beer while I waited. My barber (Heidi) was friendly, fast, completely comfortable with me, and good looking! Walked in 15 min before my appointment, and she was already available and ready to go. Super friendly and professional. Did a great zero fade, then threw a curve ball by asking for a hard-part type design. I could see her hesitation but said she would do it, but would get help from her co worker, well the co worker was busy so she did it herself. While i was skeptical because of her hesitation, I gave her the go ahead as she just did an awesome fade. I walked out knowing, if she was available, I definitely would book an appointment with her again. A+++ definitely recommend.

Great place for a haircut! I moved to Boise about a year ago. Was looking for a place to get a haircut. I’m very meticulous about my haircuts. Found this place online and decided to give it a go. I booked with Tess, and right from the start we developed a good working relationship. She listened to what I wanted and did an excellent job! My wife commented how good the haircut looked when I got home. I signed up for a membership and been going to Tess ever since. Do yourself a favor. Went in for a Scheduled hair and beard trim. This is my 3rd time going. I signed up for the ultimate craftsman after my first visit. It’s been the best haircut experience I’ve had in over a decade. I’ve been a customer of Craftsman Unlimited Haircuts from day 1. I’ve enjoyed the value proposition of the monthly subscription and the products in store. The owners are prior service military who bring the same core values I’ve come to expect being in the service myself. As with any new business, they have had some staff changes which makes it difficult to stay with the same barber or stylist. The great part about the team at Craftsman is that they are open to suggestions and they actually listen to their patrons. Rating four stars because they are still growing and finding their perfect team. Will report back for an updated review at their one year anniversary. Will be a member for many more years. Love the business model and the service! Frustrated by some of the inconsistency. I frequently go to the location in Meridian and since the first day my appointments have always started at least 15 min late. Sometimes even stretching upwards of a 30 min appointment. I plan on these times. The last time this happened I arrived 10 min early to my appointment to see my barber had taken a customer as a walk in back for a haircut. I waited for 40 more min. By the time I was in the chair it was roughly an hour past my allotted appointment time. I can get over this one time. But halfway through my appointment my stylist started rushing things and taking shortcuts not washing my head or taking the time for a proper neck shave because her next customer was behind and getting impatient. So I did what any person might do. I switched to the Boise location to try it out. My second time I was running 7 min behind in traffic and when I arrived they had given my slot away. Now at least that makes sense. I was late. It does make me curious what the cut off time is for running behind. Is there a grace period of 5 min? It’s on me to be on time and I get that. I love the haircuts and the monthly price!! Not giving up yet but I do want to share my experience.

I went to Craftsman unlimited for the first time today. Went in not really knowing what I was in for, but a buddy had referred me. Faith gave me an excellent haircut and worked really hard to make sure to tame my straight, thick hair, tame my cowlicks and give it texture and volume. It's the first haircut where I was given a hard part using a straight razor; definitely a good experience. She clearly put effort into making sure I got the best haircut possible. Pricing is reasonable, there is an app so you can schedule your own appointments, and they stick to the schedule so it's reliable enough to get a haircut on your lunchbreak. I am a long-time customer of the big sports themed haircut shop. I always ended up with a great haircut and enjoyed the experience. However, these guys managed to take the process and make it better... at a great value. I absolutely hate my hair getting long, but can’t justify paying to cut my hair multiple times a month. It just doesn’t make sense. I thought to myself, why is there not a place where you can pay a monthly subscription and get unlimited haircuts? You can do unlimited music, car washes, cloud storage, etc. Why not haircuts? I do a google search for this concept. Lo and behold, there is this new company doing exactly what I want, right here in Boise. I immediately signed up, downloaded the app, and scheduled an appointment. I will say, the online/app experience for the end user was far better than I could have possibly expected. You don’t see something this sophisticated in many of the chain shops, let alone a local company. These guys put a lot of work into making this work well. When I showed up for my haircut, the experience was awesome. Nicole did a great job cutting my hair and was extremely friendly. The atmosphere is great with a pool table when there’s a wait. Being a member, they give you a beverage from a wide selection. Members get discounts on hair products and bumped to the front of the line of non-members. I seriously cannot say enough good things about this place. I wish these guys the greatest success and hope everyone considers taking advantage of their services.

So I found this place while driving by and called and made an appointment. Well I showed up to the one on overland in Meridian not realizing they had a Boise location. So I left frustrated and headed to the Boise one. Got there and was pretty surprised. The facility was pretty rad looking and the staff was awesome. I had Karly or Carly however you spell it. She was pretty awesome and put the chicks at Sportsclips to shame. She was funny and her fade is "Prestige" how she says it but it was pretty legit. Definitely can keep a convo. I ended up getting the Journeyman Membership today because well it was probably one of the best cuts I've had. Highly recommend!

Living in Boise my whole life, Ive been to just about every barbershop from Boise to Caldwell, and Crafstman takes the cake for Best Atmosphere, Best Employees, Best Cuts. If you can get yourself fit into her schedule, I highly reccomend it. She's fast, energetic, and ALWAYS produces a fantastic haircut. First off the whole concept and idea is genius. I was forced to pay $20 plus weekly for a haircut so I can look clean cut. Discovering this place saves me money with the craftsman unlimited. But more importantly I get a free beverage everytime I go in. Beer, energy drinks, water etc. My main reason for the review is these guys know how to cut hair. From styling, to cutting. You can just come in unlimited times for the scalp massage. I want to give my barber props but don't want everyone taking up appointment slots. Oh what the he'll. Go see Bennie, he knows his stuff. I went from my buddy I grew up with who cut my hair for 15 years, to finding this place. The added perk? The brothers that own this are both veterans. Having served in the Army myself that was cool. They even have a veterans wall you can tag. Wolfhounds!!! If your paying for a haircut why not pay a monthly set amount and look good every day. We all use reviews to guide us, but don't take my word for it..come see for yourself. Oh the app is awesome too.
