I personally wouldn’t recommend coming here unless you make an appointment. I’m good with waiting a long time on a walk in, but not having my cut rushed because of it. Haven’t really had this problem before, but I wasn’t asked anything about sideburns/the back/lineup he literally just did whatever in like 15 minutes, even saying he had an appointment coming in. I’ll just pay the premium for an appointment if I come here again.

Isaiah is the man! He shows great customer service and carry’s a great conversation. He was very fast with the haircut and the haircut came out to be one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had. The price was outstanding compared to other places! 10/10 recommend!

I always receive an excellent haircut when I go to Campus Barber Shop. Abraham Ruiz has been my barber for many years and he is friendly and professional. The shop itself is clean and has plenty of comfortable seating while you wait. The two giant flat screen tvs are great to watch some sports or funny cartoons too. The prices are affordable for whatever style of cut you get. Thank you Campus Barber Shop!

Been going to Campus Barber for four years now and I have no plans to stop anytime soon. The staff are beyond personable and I've never left with a bad haircut. There's no place I'd rather go for a haircut than to Campus.

The gentlemen at Campus barbershop are some of the best barbers I've ever had the pleasure of having work done with, BAR NONE! Friendly, Knowledgable, Professional, Stellar Conversation, and AMAZING WORK!! All the barbers there are MASTER BARBERS (Abraham, Isiah, Zack) each with their own unique and interesting style, yet none so strict they could not easily perform what is desired. Abraham, Isiah, Zack are (hair) gods amongst men. Fair warning, they are almost always busy, they do there best to get you in but its not always possible, an appointment is highly recommend they are always so busy!

This is my husband’s barber shop they are nice people and I’m here saying thank you they donated to my daughters go fund me for her cancer fund and not only did they do that they also put three of my daughters donation boxes in there shop ! My family thanks you for being so kind ! The person who cuts my husbands hair his name is Dominic he always does a good job on my husbands hair as well I would recommend him if you go in ! You can call in advance to book an appointment which is nice because this place gets pretty busy during term time. Had a nice conversation with my barber who didn't rush through the haircut. Would recommend!

Easy place to go if you're on campus. Place can get busy and the barbers do detailed work so the wait can be long. You can always schedule appointments. I got a shave. Not a bad job. Left a couple places unshaved. The shave experience was fun.

Pretty awesome place. Popular - so it's a bit of a wait most of the time. Cash only is a minus, as well as finding parking. You need to sign in, which isn't obvious. There's one barber you should avoid - he spends most of the time texting and cuts your hair the way he wants. The rest of the crew are great.

this is my spot. Dom and his team are all very friendly and provide quality haircuts. My barber is Waldo. Be sure to ask "where's Waldo" if you want a cut from him. The location is great, too - right across from campus. Perfect for me, since I am a student. Be sure to take cash, cards not accepted.

I am a student at UNM so this place is close, but this was one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had, Zack was my barber and he was fast but good, from walking in and walking out it was around 10 to 15 minutes, the service as well as the proximity makes this place my go to Barber in Albuquerque.

After leaving my hair to grow down to my shoulders I was ready for a change. I sat in Dom's chair, who owns the joint, and told him I had no idea what the hell to do with my hair and to cut it up. He gave me a great cut that was clean and a perfect balance between business and rock n roll. I'll for sure keep swinging back to this place. Thanks Dom!

Yes, the wait is long if you don't call ahead but totally worth it for a quality haircut. If you've seen the movie "Barber Shop" or been to a barber shop in an urban metropolis you'll have an idea of what to expect. The loud music or sports playing on the TV, barber/clientele banter and of course phenomenal cut are what make this place great and gives it an identity similar to the "ma and pa" spots of Chicago or New York. Without a doubt the best place for a haircut in town.

Always worth the wait if I forget to book an appointment in advance, and I have never had a disappointment in a haircut in the six years I have been going. Best place I have been to in Albuquerque and willing to fly in from out of state to get a cut there.
