Simply the best. We have had checking, savings, credit card, car loan, personal loan, and now a mortgage and homeowner’s insurance through Rivermark. The experience has always been professional, simple, and enjoyable. Our mortgage loan officer (shout out to Sunny Freestone!) even connected us with a phenomenal realtor after our previous one didn’t work out. They make payments easy with their app, and everyone strives to make sure that your experience is top notch. I’m so grateful to have all of my accounts here!

Everyone here is the nicest, most considerate, and by far the most knowledgeable. I have only been there twice, but each time I am greeted professionally. I recently opened an account at Rivermark Credit Union in Portland on Hawthorne Blvd. It Is an interesting, popular, and odd place. It kind of fits the neighborhood. To start, it is on a hill, the parking lot is small and quirky, The ATMs are different, and just not what I am use to. I like Rivermark Credit Union.and I remember them being in this same location since at least 1983. The staff are always friendly and helpful.

Rivermark is pretty great! Credit unions are a great alternative to for-profit banks and Rivermark is no exception. The online banking has been difficult at times because of inaccurate or unclear instructions.

I have been a member since the late 80's when it was Safeway Credit Union and I have found that I have never had a bad a experience with it in any way. If there was a problem it was handled in a very professional way. I do most of my contacting with you by phone if there is a problem. I have only been in the actual building where the Credit Union is a few times. But every one who I have had business with were so nice and polite. Don't change a thing. I love the banking here.

Goodbye, bank demons! How did it take me so long to realize the value of a credit union? I'll make this short and sweet - Rivermark is a great community financial institution. Real people work there, not programmed robots brainwashed from BofA or Chase. They're helpful and educated on the services they offer... and you're going to find a lot less fees than you would at a typical bank. I did previously take issue with their procedure for managing clients waiting to meet with representatives. My first time in, someone took down all of our names (presumably an organized list).... yet, when they called us out, they essentially just asked the group who was next and continually grabbed the wrong order of people. I finally asked the rep what the point in her taking the names down was and she did inform me that they do not keep track of the order, simply the names... What?!? Anyway, this seems to have since not been an issue. So... they still get five stars as I absolutely love this credit union. The tellers and account clerks are wonderful, friendly people. Their services, in my opinion, far exceed what the big banks can offer. I've even switched over one of my retirement accounts with them. Looking forward to developing a relationship with Rivermark as time goes on.

I opened a checking account and I was happy. Then little by little I noticed differences. The customer service is wonderful. The checking account is wonderful. Since then I switched everything to rivermark. Auto loan, credit card, and finally auto insurance (which saved about $100/month)...everything. Hands down, the BEST banking experience I've ever had! Love the idea of supporting my local credit union vs big corp banks, so I decided to join for my auto loan. After receiving incredibly friendly, helpful and personalized service, I decided to start doing my checking and savings through RiverMark CU as well. They have amazing rates, in fact the best I have seen for any basic checking and savings accounts of any banks. The systems are great, easy to use app and website. Everyone that works there is extremely friendly and kind, always serving with a smile on their face. The bank locations themselves are great too, free coffee, clean, welcoming and offer awesome services - video tellers at the drive up ATM's?! The way of the future. Coin machines for members as well. All in all, the best bank I've been a part of. Love Rivermark!

Favorite things about banking with Rivermark: they print your credit and debit cards in house so you don’t have to wait weeks to get replacements in the mail, they refund you atm fees if you use your debit card a certain amount of times a month, and great free checking.

Rivermark is literally the best bank I've ever done business with. They are so forgiving and I feel that they're one of the few banks nowadays that treat their customers with respect and fairness. I'm currently living abroad but am still banking with them. Even from here in Panama, they have been nothing but SUPER helpful and nice whenever I reach out to them with any sort of issue or concern. My partner and I opened a joint account at Rivermark because we have friends who say only but great things. We were helped by Brian and he’s super helpful and informative. He checked in with us to see if we’re doing okay and if we had any questions. I then decided to open a personal account and I’ve been happy since! Yes, I agree that they should update their app. It’s pretty out of date. But, with more feedback from customers, I’m sure they’ll update it.

I've been with them since they were Safeway Credit Union and I love them I've never had to pay for any banking ever I'm in and out quick and the tellers are always very helpful even if I do the kiosk one outside very very helpful they were able to set up my son's checking account from the kiosk outside cuz we there too late to do it inside which was great I can't think of any bank that would do that.

I just signed up with this credit union so I can’t speak about fees and other long term customer service issues other reviewers have experienced. However, I have not had a better experience with a bank before! Victoria B was so helpful and accomodating. I had a few issues with setting up the app and online banking in the beginning, which I emailed her about. She emailed me back right away, was very enthusiastic and extremly helpful. So great! I hope I continue having a great experience with them.

I live nearby and joined many years ago. This is not my primary financial institution. IOW my mortgage and etc. held elsewhere. It has proven to be a very competitive and winning place to do business, and overall I am very pleased and a happy customer. In several cases they have exceeded what my primary bank offered for a particular banking product. I do have a bias in that I would rather do business with a local intuition with local ownership than a publicly traded entity. I live here and would like my money to circulate here. Rivermark has created that option, in the bottom line and I think that is worth investing in..

I am very happy with Rivermark! There is no fee or account minimum. They have overdraft protection. I love the deposit feature on their ap. I have always had excellent customer service at their physical location and they have called me when they suspected fraudulent charges. They also refund ATM fees. I am so happy I switched from a bank to Rivermark Credit Union!!! And to the gentleman whose review is below mine...NJ is three hours ahead of us! You have to take time zones into consideration!

This is an awesome credit union; there is no reason to use a big bank when you can have the same convenience with better rates and service. The customer service is excellent in both the branches and over the phone. The interest rates are solid. You can manage your accounts online and through a smartphone app that also lets you make mobile deposits. You can be refunded for ATM fees incurred at other machines and they partner with other credit unions to give you even more locations to make withdrawals and deposits. You can even earn rewards points that you can trade in for all sorts of things.

this ATM was the most magical machine I've ever seen I went up to it and it was able to process a piece of plastic I put into it and then give me bills of cash. I didn't know quite how to describe this miraculous sensation and wonderful miracle of modern technology. I can only say that if the world continues in this direction I don't see why anybody should ever have to actually be within a hundred feet of anybody else ever again. It's an ATM I don't know why you could leave a review for these but here you are.

I was feeling pretty financially stressed after losing my job due to Covid. To make matters worse, I had bought tickets to a music festival that was cancelled and that particular company was making it truly impossible for me to get a refund. I could have really used the money and went in as a last resort to ask if anyone at Rivermark could help. Josh Clark greeted me and calmed me down almost instantly. He said he wasn’t sure if he could make a dispute because it had been over six months since the purchase but took my case seriously, had my back and tried anyway. I ended up getting my money back but even if I hadn’t, I’d still be stunned by the warmness and care from the employees that made me feel heard and seen in a situation that initially made me feel I had been taken advantage of. Very important to me especially in these really hard times... thanks y’all

I've been dealing with Rivermark simce I moved to the PNW, about 6 years ago. The only issue I've ever had was with their mobile app when it was first released. Once that was sorted out it been all good. The lines can be a little long at times, they typically move at a reasonable pace though. The vast majority of my banking happens online anyway, so not a big deal to me. I've never had any sort of accounting issues with them, in my experience that alone puts them.at.the top.of the heap.

This used to be a good centrally located bank to do shared branching in. This year, they stopped shared branching inside with the tellers. Now, you can only use the outside ATM.

I was looking to switch to a credit union from Bank of America. I didn't end up choosing Rivermark but I wanted to be sure to give them a 5 star review for the customer service Laurie Baker offered. Pretty early on we realized that RCCU's international policies just weren't right for me since I'm moving abroad. At that point she could have just let me continue my search of credit unions elsewhere; instead, she offered about 15-20 minutes worth of advice on how to find the right credit union (what questions to ask, what to look out for, etc., etc.). Her suggestions were so, so helpful and I sincerely appreciated her thoughtfulness. She really cares about the people who ask for her assistance and I think that should always be recognized. Thank you, Laurie!
