I have been with Gate City Bank a number of years. I highly recommend them. Their customer service is beyond compare. They make banking easy and they are so kind. The free cookies and coffee inside the bank always makes me feel welcome like how banks were when I was little. Do you know how some banks feel cold and impersonal? This bank is the opposite. Everyone there makes you feel cared for and ready to help you. I really love them! Thank you Gate City staff!

To start I would like to say thank you to Savanna Carlson for her outstanding customer service, was super impressed with her professionalism and at the same time making it seem like I made a good friend. My overall experience was great I went to Gate city to open a Roth IRA I was pretty nervous since I don’t have a lot of financial literacy but from start to finish I was guided the whole way and all my questions were answered to the fullest ability of Savanna and her resources which was great. I was helped on understanding interest rates and basic information about IRA and the differences in terms from 12 month to 60 month CDs and so on I felt very good about my experience walking out of there today. 10/10 would open another one again and will definitely continue banking with Gate City. P.S Savanna should be what the others strive to be for customer service; she would make a great example of outstanding customer service. Accidentally wrote it on the wrong location lol.This is the right one, sorry Broadway Gate City

Gate City Bank is a great bank. I was new to Fargo and needed a local bank ASAP. I ended up asking some of my new coworkers for advice and was referred here. It’s been about 3 months of being a customer for me, so I think I’ve had enough time to have an opinion. Customer service is great and it was easy to open an account and get all my stuff moved to my new accounts. Customer service has been great from day one. I don’t dread stopping by the bank or calling like I did with the national bank chain I used to bank with. I always use this location because it’s in between work and home, and everyone is always so nice and helpful.

This review isn't specific to this location, but just in general with how impressed I was recently working with Gate City Bank. I have moved away from ND but kept my banking here, and I'm so glad I made that decision. I had an issue with an unauthorized user withdrawing substantial amounts of money from my account, and I called customer service and they. resolved this quickly and effortlessly for me. I got to speak to a real person without having to wait on hold, and the person helping me (Danielle) was very kind and helpful during a stressful situation. Highly recommend this bank!

We worked with art, senior loan officer, on an auto loan at this location. I cannot say enough good things about him. He truly is someone who cares and tries to set you up the best way possible. The whole process was easy to do and was a very comfortable setting. We will only be doing loans through art from here on out and plan on referring all of our friends and family his way as well!!! Perfect experience.

I was dissatisfied with my "Big Bank" for many years. All of the hidden fees, all the red tape you had to go through to get something done, all the ATM fees.....the whole 9 yards. One day, I finally had enough and made the switch and I could not be happier. I should have done this years ago. Everyone at this location is helpful, kind, and the get things done! To anyone that is looking to make the switch: I strongly recommend this bank, and don't be worried about all of the hassle of switching your auto payments, getting new checks, and so on because they help you with all of that too! It is a very smooth transition, and you will be glad you did it.

We bank with Gate City and ended up working with David VanBruggen as our mortgage lender after speaking with other local lenders in Fargo. Since this was our first time buying a home, Dave was great in answering all of our questions and making sure we understood all the numbers. He even quickly responded to my email asking for a mortgage estimate on a Saturday during Easter weekend as he was building a playset for his kids! My husband and I were impressed with his dedication and attention, and we'd recommend him to others looking for mortgage lenders.
