Paradise Bakery’s Meltaways put Eastchester on the map! They are so good! My family and friends missed them so much when Chester Heights Bakery took a ‘hiatus’. Literally, our hearts ‘melt’ when we have your Meltaways, Paradise Bakery. So excited for the years to come of having dessert in Eastchester with you. Eastchester is so lucky to have bakeries like you guys.

Awesome bakery! Honey buns are incomparable. Seven-layer cake has even become a family tradition since the Chester Heights Pastry days. Meltaways are quite famous, yes, but everything has ALWAYS been delicious. Owner graciously goes out of his way to customize creations and can be trusted to come through on major orders.

So happy Chester Heights Bakery reincarnated. My favorite childhood cookies (pink dots) came from this bakery and I was heart broken when they closed. So happy I an buy them again, they are SO GOOD!

We were traveling through from Massachusetts in the morning and wanted a quick breakfast item. At first it looked like there wasn't much to choose from when we first went in and almost left. I am glad we decided to take a minute more to look. The woman behind the counter was so friendly and patient as we asked questions. I got a jelly filled cinnamon donut!! Oh my goodness delicious! My husband got a double chocolate muffin. It was so delicious and moist too. We brought home a melt away which we look forward to trying and a blueberry danish as well. We plan to stop in whenever we are in NY.

Small, no-frills bakery selling delicious pastries. The meltaway here is crave-worthy (as the other reviewers have raved), and I really like the danishes and jam-filled butter cookies. The ambiance and decor is a little plain, but the owners are so sweet and friendly and they treated me so well…being patient, helpful, and offering a sample when I couldn’t decide.

I used to go to this bakery as a kid when it’s location was in Chester heights....just stopped in at the new location...wow I am so glad I did. All the cookies & pastries tasted delicious & fresh, especially the rainbow cookies !! I am assuming the owner that was there gave me fresh cookies right of the baking rack without me even asking... !!. So glad they opened up here, this will be my new go to neighborhood bakery for pastries & cookies. 😍

Having missed his danishes and meltaways for years, I am so thrilled to find my beloved Chester Heights pastry shop reopened in Eastchester. Please don’t let the size of the shop fool you - the pastries melt in your mouth! The meltaways are unmatched.
