The prices are reasonable compared to other bake shops in Riverdale. I had an everything bagel with cream cheese. The price was good, the garlic in the bagel was extremely strong.

It was a short notice and they had no problem creating a small cake for my wife. She loved it and to top it off, it tasted delicious. I would definitely come here for any of our future cake needs.

I was very impressed with this place. I explained what I wanted and I got even better! We ordered the cake for my daughter’s birthday party and it was the most beautiful and delicious Encanto theme cake. I asked for the cream to be not too sugary and sweet and I was pleased with the result. At the store we got a great service as well. The cake was placed in a very nice box and we got birthday candles and balloon on a house. It was very thoughtful and kind. Thank you!

Grateful for this flavorful local bakery in our hood! Have you ever had a blueberry muffin where the flour besides the actual blueberries in it taste like blueberries also? Then come to EJ's and try it. So grateful to have a bakery that knows how to incorporate flavors other than sugar and flour into their desserts. The owners are welcoming and nice and I'm grateful to have them in our hood... that guava turn over tho... Sooo good!

First, the customer service is outstanding! Second, the pastries are delicious, my favorites are the apple turnovers and the vanilla conchas. Third, prices are very reasonable. Definitely worth a try!

Delicious and varied pastries and cakes. Mom loves their flakey guava pastries.The black & white cookies are Hubby's favorite. The cakes and butter cookies are fresh and so habit forming!!! They also started making flavored cream cheeses, the veggie cream cheese is awesome!

Really impressed with this beautiful cake they made for my daughters birthday. And we got so many compliments on how great it tasted too. I will definitely get more cakes from them in the future.

This place is simply amazing, such a “sweet” gem!!! Everything I tried yesterday for the first time was outstanding! Fresh, not overly sweet, generous portions and such affordable prices. And the owner was so kind and helpful! The guava and strawberry tres leches were outstanding, and I can only say the same about the Oreo cheesecake and flan! I can’t wait to come back and try everything :) !!!

I needed some dessert at the last minute end of the day for a dinner gathering. Since this bakery only had slices of different cakes, I decided to get a Flan, Tres Leches, Carrot Cake and cheesecake. I can’t believe how big of a hit this dessert assortment was. My guests were very happy, one after another great tasting, right sweetness and textures. So glad I found this place and can’t wait to try other pastries.

Really, really delicious coffee cake, turn overs, sticky buns, and chocolate croissants. The egg n cheese sandwich on the homemade bread roll was excellent! Great coffee. Beautiful interior paint colors are so soothing, and accentuate the old fashioned bas-relief ceiling design. The couple who own the bakery are charming. They bake everything fresh right there, and the aroma in the shop makes me long for tables and chairs to soak it up indoors/outdoors. (They said the seats are coming soon!) WONDERFUL! New favorite breakfast shop!

This new bakery in North Riverdale has the best Bacon, Egg, and Cheese on croissant! The cheesecake, black and white cookies, and all the pastries are awesome! Jesus the owner is really nice 2.
