Recently ordered a cake from Ubereats. I was so happy they actually had full cakes available. I was able to have them write something on the cake as well which i loved. I ordered candles with my cake and that didn't arrive. I asked for a Red Velvet cake with cream cheese frosting. The cake looked absolutely beautiful. I loved it. The cream cheese frosting was NOT good at all. Tasted like horrible butter cream or something. The cake was good but the layers are thin so there's no missing the nasty frosting. I will give this place another try soon. Maybe try some of the smaller items or buy a pie or something. I'll def stay away from the cakes for now.

This was the second year I’ve ordered my daughters birthday cake from here, and both were spectacular! The first time we ordered a simple chocolate cake and it was lovely. Second go around was even better then expected. We showed a picture of what we wanted and I could not be anymore happier. We’ll definitely be coming back for more cakes.

Ordered a carrot birthday cake on Uber eats and it was cancelled for no reason. But something told me to reorder the next morning. The cake was amazing!! It was the perfect last minute cake. It was so fresh and moist. The frosting wasn’t too sugary, just right. Glad i gave this bakery a second chance

Cake looked amazing and tasted even better. We added our own topper and flowers to make it less traditional and more us. But we got exactly what we asked for. Everyone was so thorough and detailed during the ordering process and it paid off. Our cake came out exactly how we decribed. I'll be recommending this bakery to everyone I know. We even picked up a cheesecake and cookies last minute and those were delicious too.

Me and my entire family has been going to this cake shop for years and we love it. There cakes are amazing and every time we have a event everyone loves the way the cakes taste. Have been going to them for years. From birthday cakes to baby showers cakes to just a regular good pastry snack. The prices are very good for the most part. I paid 300 for this baddie but it's for my wife. They do all types of flavors and everything is always fresh. Will keep going to them.

Needed a quick Birthday delivery- had EXCEPTIONAL Experience with a woman by the name of Chyna, I believe, who selected gorgeous enormous cupcakes and wrote Happy Birthday with my friends name on the cupcakes , sent a note with wishes from me, and quickly had it delivered ( through Grub Hub) within 20 minutes! What a fabulous person and shop- I was so impressed- thanks Chyna and E& L. !!( PS- and I called from Florida and my friend in the Bronx)!

Came in for a quick coffee & buttered roll and cheese danish. I had a medical appointment in the area and went to bed the night before thinking about coming to E & L for a bite. As usual, I was not disappointed. The staff is as warm and comforting as the food. The only drawback is finding a parking spot that is close by.

My 50th Birthday cake was bought here on Sept 20th. I loved the cake. I usually make all my cakes. The cake was beautiful and delicious. I gave out huge pieces. Only because of lack of space to refrigerate it. I regret giving out such big pieces because I ran out of the cake already. I will be in there today getting another one. I love the fact that's it's very light and not extra sweet. It's perfect. I am new to the area but you have definitely gained some business from me. Their Red Velvet cheesecake is awesome and I'm not a fan of Red Velvet anything! The half&half cheesecake is good too. Love the cannoli's,Napoleon,chocolate covered strawberries and Oreos. I ordered a specialty cake for my dads 50th birthday. One of the designers took his time going over the details of the cake .he was courteous, and attentive. Their pricing is very good! But most importantly the quality is exceptional! You have bakeries that design cakes using week old cake . But E and L provides the freshest product by far . Started coming here around 6 years ago after tasting the ice cream cake. Discovered how amazing their cupcakes taste. And get the ice cream cake and cupcakes for my kids bday parties at school always a hit!!! My daughter was in the hospital after birth and for 10 months on 2nd of the month I would buy about 3 dozen cupcakes to share with the nurses who cared for our baby to celebrate every month we were given with her and they were always a hit. Love this place .

I wanted to pick my cake up early so i called of course the guy that pick up ask me what time was i schedule to pick my cake up i told him he said no and hung up on me(great for customer service right?)did my errands got there 1 hour after the time i said i would pick my cake up and i still had to go there and wait because it wasn't ready i order a "jamaican cake"which was ok it wasn't as dark needed rum or more rum all in all its a good bakery.
