Made from scratch deserts, coffees, teas, ice cream, you name it! Everything I have tried from this place has been rather delicious. Pricing is kind of high, but I'd say the quality is there to make it worth while. Definitely recommend a mudslide shake from here. Atmosphere is pretty cool. Super open layout with room to sit d9wn and open a laptop and do some work, while enjoying your treats.

Oh my goodness! The Milkfloat is awesome! The decor is great! Love the Wooden Tables, Paper Lantern Lights, and Open Beam Ceiling! Also the modern feel in the mix! Now to the yummy food items they offer. Ice cream, pastries, cakes and cupcakes, teas, cold & hot coffee, expresso, and shakes!! Plus a little more. They all looked so delicious! The staff was very cheerful and friendly! It's was really a laid-back atmosphere the time we visited!! So cool! Our choices we picked out were awesome and very yummy!! We enjoyed our time at the Milkfloat!! You gotta check it out!! Thank you!!

Really cute space with good pastries. Got a matcha latte with oat milk that was pretty good but only have 16 oz. They have sodas, ice cream, pastries, desserts and a Lego wall.

This became our ritual stop for dessert while we were in Wichita. It's right down the street from the Drury Hotel, and right on the river. The desserts are made on site, and the milkshakes are delicious, but the best part of our experience was the friendly and helpful staff!

Great soda floats... my killer combo is getting the huckleberry ice cream with the black cherry soda... its a great combination, especially if you want something with a fruit kick. The staff here is also friendly. We walked in a few minutes prior to closing and they were happy to help us and let us try samples before we ordered. If you like ice cream be sure to visit!

The shop is super adorable I love the look. The waitstaff is super kind and super patient! Lastly, the food here is amazing. The fruit tart was my fav and I highly recommend it. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

Milkfloat is one of the best spots in Wichita. The staff is always friendly, the drinks are delicious, and the desserts are simply divine. As a regular, I appreciate the welcoming atmosphere and the fact that they support local artists through the Wichita Sketchclub every Monday. Highly recommend!

Great place with yummy homemade pastries and goodies! So many options to choose from and fun drinks from coffees to teas and lemonades and pop. Only issue is every time I get coffee it’s super duper burnt :( but everything else is very yummy!

Seriously kicking myself for not going in sooner. Amazing atmosphere and really nice baristas. I got a chocolate covered marshmallow cookie and an Earl Grey Latte. The latte was amazing and the cookie was delicious. Can't wait to go back but with the kids.

Heard great things about this cute local coffee shop and had to give it a try. I have been searching for a fantastic cold brew with low acidity and found it here with their Japanese Cold Brew! The milkshakes are incredible too. We also tried a chocolate chip cookie. The service was excellent and the staff had a lot of knowledge of the menu and place itself. They informed us that depending on what time you arrive in the day, breakfast/lunch items are available.

Stop in for our 13 year old birthday ice cream, the blue berry lavender pie was amazing. The milk shakes and giant cookie were delicious, and we all love the oreo pie. This place is a Must try and try again, the workers and atmosphere are super welcoming

Long has Wichita needed a place for the late night sweet tooth (but not overly). This place is still new (11/1/2016) and has lot to be added before it is a complete experience. However, they are open for business today and despite being a little sparse, it is showing lots of promise! I have visited twice so far. I was the first (so I was told) to try their sweet potato pie! Very good, very different. Perfect for fall! I also enjoy a good iced mocha and the one I had is hard to beat! Not overly sweet, and made with quality chocolate, possibly organic. Both were satisfying after a long walk at the park. I can't wait to try more soon! The atmosphere is both modern and rustic, a welcoming mix of wood, old brick, glass and metal. Great for solo relaxation and conversating with friends. The WiFi works, but we'll see if it struggles when there is more people there. More pictures to come!

The breakfast selection is a little slim. I hope they add some more in the future. The atmosphere is very nice and upscale. I had the cranberry orange loaf and it was good, just a tad dry. I also got the hot chocolate. It was very rich. I wasn't a big fan of the hot chocolate.

Loved the variety of options! Definitely going to be trying different choices each time. We tried the Banana Cream Pie, Hummingbird Cake, Birthday Cake bar and a Cherry Cronut! They were all great. Cute shop and friendly staff! Everything looked delicious and it was so hard to decide because there were so many options. I tried the rosebud latte and the banana pudding cruffin and both were amazing! Highly recommend because they have something for everyone.

This is such an adorable dessert shop! I got an ice cream sandwich with toffee cookies and caramel toffee ice cream. So good! And the biggest ice cream sandwich I have ever seen!

Perfect spot to stop for dessert! The inside is a big wide open space. You never feel crowded. They normally have a display counter of desserts available. They serve coffee as well. The owner is a very nice gentleman. He takes the time to speak to customers. Has considered hosting small events.

Ive been meaning to come in for a while and try the food here. Went in with my boyfriend for breakfast today, but just couldn’t decide on what to get. Ultimately we decided to try a few different items. Biscuits and gravy, a salted caramel pecan brownie, strawberry and cream cheese puff, cheesy tomato and pesto puff, and frozen chai latte and iced mocha. The biscuits and gravy have been the best I’ve ever tried. The gravy was fresh and so flavorful. It had great texture and the sausage was juicy. We were lucky enough to get a free one for the wait. My salted caramel brownie was also super tasty. The first thing I could taste was the salt on the roof of my mouth. It had the perfect amount and never tasted overpowering. Just a nice sprinkle. The brownie itself wasn’t overly sweet either, which I was a fan of. My boyfriend got the cheesy tomato pesto puff. The one bite I had was surprisingly pleasant as well. It was really like a light, flaky, pizza. If the cashier who served us sees this, we were very thankful for the extra biscuit, just a little distracted with our game lol. She was also very welcoming and patient with our indecisiveness.

This is a fun new spot to check out if you, or those you are with, enjoy coffee and dessert. Family friendly environment. The owner had a vision for something that this city hadn’t seen before and should be proud of the result. It’s great to support a local business that cares about the employees and the customer experience. I’d recommend checking it out if you haven’t been yet!

This is a scratch bakery. The sweets were fresh and delicious. Lots of seating. Nice atmosphere. No pics. We tried the cinnamon donut muffin -basically a muffin rolled in cinnamon, oreo cupcake, nutella cupcakes, the cupcakes are the large ones. Not standard size, and a really yummy peanut butter pie. They also have cookies. Ice cream. They do have drinks also but did not partake in any.

I have only visited a couple of times but each time the staff has been so incredibly helpful and kind! They have been super welcoming, and very informative and truly seem happy to be there. All of their desserts look amazing, and everything I’ve tried so far is delicious! I definitely recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for a sweet spot 🤗

Great decor and family environment. Ice cream was good, hoped for chocolate but the machine was down. We just did desserts and overall they were tasty. They have games and books to use while you're there as well. Recommend if you're in the area.

Discovered a great getaway for coffee and desert. This bakery even has soft serve. That is a treat. So of course I ordered their double shot expresso over my soft serve — new to me and delicious. My daughter ordered a coffee drink that came with a roasted marshmallow. We sampled their brownies that melted in our mouths. We shared a cookie they filled with chocolate morsels that melded perfectly with the cookie dough. Milk float offers plenty of outlets for you to study, work, or surf on your computer. For the IRL experience, they offer board games. Friendly staff and a fun experience.

Wonderfully yummy and unique treats and inviting atmosphere! We love that they have children's books and board games for when you have more time to spend. My family's favorite is the birthday cake in a cup, but everything we've tried has been delicious and different from any other place in town.

Was just walking back to our vehicle and stumbled upon milkfloat. We ordered 3 cookies and a muffin doughnut... With to coffees... The muffin doughnut was very hard and old tasting kinda of a let down... But everything else was top notch.... Now i know this place exsists... I will go in the morning to try fresher muffins. So we can make milkfloat a 5 star

Charming spot just a short drive from Keeper of the Plains. My girlfriend and I stopped here because we had 30 minutes to kill, and we picked the right spot. Great seating available if you need to study or have a big group. Generous portions for the price of coffee / custard. We didn’t get any of the baked goods but we were certainly tempted by them.

Stop here and grab a They've got fresh, house made: croissant-doughnuts with Berry frosting, buttery smooth bread pudding, banana cream pie, cherry pie. Want a Delicious mug of standard new, French press, expresso, regular cold Brew, but wait there's more ways there to brew...Japanese cold Brew, pour over, siphon brewing. As soon as we walked through the door you can tell the place is special. We were greeted immediately by the barista. The atmosphere was so welcoming and calm. Everyone who worked there was happy to help, and the owner was there and even came out to give recommendations on desserts to try! There were individuals on computers hanging out, and a family even came in to sit down and spend time together while enjoying their treats. We got 2 bags full of treats to try, and it was a great deal! We couldn't wait to get home before we tried them, and that was some of the best desserts I have ever had!! all in all, I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone I know!! I will 100 percent be going back soon!!

Our first trip to Milkfloat was fantastic! I had a float made with homemade chocolate ice cream and strawberry soda, my husband had a float with vanilla ice cream and caramel soda, and our daughter had chocolate cake and a caramel shake. Atmosphere was great with live music and all. We'll definitely be back.

The desserts are always top-notch at Milkfloat. We stop in about every 6 weeks for some pre-dinner dessert and have never been disappointed with the variety, quality of food, or the service. Great experience every time! And my daughter loves the Lego wall in the back, so bonus points for that!

Only tried two flavors of the single scoop of ice cream (chocolate, cookies and cream) . Great flavor and price was more then reasonable. $3 for one scoop and size is very well portioned for the money. Very friendly service and patient service as they were more then helpful with my four kiddos!

Good experience for any single person or group. Their variety of desserts changes seasonally so check back often. I particularly enjoy their variety of cookies Wich aren't too hard or soft. They run decent deals on deserts if you want to try a few in a group. Their coffee is good, and they have a good number of staples but don't expect to impress any coffee snobs. Come here if you want to treat yourself or have a nice group gathering at one of the larger tables available. Try not to go too late in the night as the dessert choices will likely be thinned down by then. This is a good choice for anyone looking for a dinner chaser.

If you are in the Delano area and looking for something to fulfill your sweet tooth this is a cool shop to visit. Have been a few times and had the cookies and ice cream. Both were delicious. The chocolate chip cookie is incredibly rich and loaded with chocolate. Looking forward to trying other things as they have many offerings. Staff is friendly and helpful.

10/10 would reccomend! I haven't yet eaten something here that I haven't liked or seen where someone else would enjoy it. The service is good as well. I've never had a problem, and have always felt welcomed by staff. Besides the great food and service, I think the best part is the atmosphere. It's a welcoming place where friends and study groups get together to have game nights while they eat, but it's also an elegantly lit, sophisticated environment for a date, hang out, or study session.

I went to Milk float when they were giving away free scoops of ice cream to educators. ( Really needed that scoop!) They were very busy and there was only 2 of them but they were working hard and getting scoops out fast. I bought a turnover and it was delicious and also vegan! I'm allergic to eggs so it's nice to find a pastry with no eggs for once. I would recommend to anyone who likes ice cream, sweets, and coffee!

Excellent treats and great coffee. Unfortunately, they refused a transaction because I attempted to pay with a $100 bill. I can understand this if it was a small purchase, but it was for several pastries, two coffees, and a holiday pie. There would have been no change except for what goes in the tip jar. Mind blowing that a cashier would be instructed to refuse orders that large if paying with anything bigger than a $20.

NIce spot for Ice cream in Delano. Did a scooter excursion downtown on a hot day and ice cream came to mind--this place popped up on Google and we gave it a go. Fun and inviting atmosphere. Menu and ordering were very simplistic (in a good way). Definitely worth visiting again.

Favorite place for dessert in town! They have a diverse menu and everything is incredible, always. It may seem a bit expensive, but it is definitely worth it! The pies are divine, even the crust! Great food and really cute atmosphere. My only complaint is that when I visit (over the noon lunch hour) and ask what vegan options are available, they are usually not ready. I don't understand why most if not all baked goods aren't ready by the time many people working downtown would be visiting. When items are available, it's delicious and the staff is very friendly!

We love Milk Float. I meet her with some of my friends about once a month. We bring our kids. It's not usually too busy mid morning during the week, so the kids can roam without being a bother. They love the Lego wall. The food is always good, we love that they change the menu with new desserts often. We have all eaten breakfast there and it is so good. A bit pricey, but worth it for the space and super friendly staff. Our kids love being able to watch the bakery staff through the glass doors.

The desserts are really wonderful. The atmosphere is fun and it’s nice that they offer board games to play while you’re enjoying your treats. If you go in with the expectation that you’re going to pay a bit more and spend some time enjoying the experience you won’t be disappointed. However, if you’re looking for top notch service and reasonable prices you will not enjoy this place. We will certainly be back.

I love this coffeeshop. They have a small but nice selection of gourmet coffee. Their specialty lies in all the homemade baked goods. They always make amazing homemade poptarts. Yesterday they had mini pumpkin loaves, big brownies, doughnuts, rice Krispy treats and more! The atmosphere is cool and inviting.

I want to be a big fan of this place, I really do. I've been looking tirelessly for a good bakery here in Wichita and especially one with a good slice of cake. Sadly, I can't say that about milk float. The only dessert I've ever liked was their vegan fig pie and I'm not even vegan! It was moist and flavorful. Another I can think of was this pumkin bread, same concept it was moist and flavorful! My one big disappointment is their cake in a jar which are almost always dry, and the frosting is way too buttery it coats your mouth entirely. There really is no flavor to their cake frosting. I've come here multiple times and bring all my new guests in town to try this place out. I love the innovation and love of dessert they have. By no means am I not ever gonna bring my friends here but I'm starting to not want to order any desserts. It's kind of like having frequent disappointment. My dessert standards may be pretty high since I have a baker in my family and am from a larger city that has hundreds of desserts available. Yet I like to give restaurants a few tries before I make a decision to come back or not. For example when I go to milk it's likely that I try almost 3/4 things at a visit. I've been there at least 10 times, but now it's just barely 1-2 items even with their ever changing seasonal menus. The only reason I come back is because it reminds me of home, it's up beat and trendy inside. I don't know if they have music playing in the background but it might help build the atmosphere more. So if things change my honest review will ultimately change.

I've been to Milk Float a couple times with friends, it's a great place! It's hip and trendy, super hipster. From the pour over coffee served on a plank of wood as a tray, to the chalkboard wall near the bathrooms to write your thoughts, to the guy with a man bun behind the counter asking you how your day had been as he serves your dessert, this place has all the best of the Millennial generation. Being a Millennial myself, I just love it! The made fresh daily baked goods are a special treat! We've sampled several menu items, including a Key Lime Pie that was garnished with gold leaf, everything had been exceptional! Can't wait to go back! A great place to have a treat, some coffee, and a great conversation with a friend. It's location in Delano also cannot be beat. Try Milk Float! You won't be disappointed!

I went during midday Wednesday so it could be busier at night, but it would make for a great quiet place to do some work and enjoy some great food. I will happily continue to support this small business. If I could offer them one piece of constructive criticism, perhaps look into delicious allergy free options or make what allergies people may be exposed to easily available. I didn’t ask if they already had this so I may be chiming on something they already do. Anyway, I am so glad I accidentally drove by this place and decided to stop in randomly. Great coffee with a fun atmosphere. Reminds me very much of the milk bar from clockwork orange. A great spot to get some studying done or work on a group project. The treats are delicious, though a basic black coffee is a tad expensive at almost $4. Granted it was damn good coffee.

It has a nice atmosphere and the space is clean and neat. The items you can order all suit the small diner style feel. The pricing however is a little bit on a the expensive side. I got some tea and a breakfast sandwich and it cost me about $10. Parking is good with a large parking lot behind the store and it even has a rear entrance.

Best coffee in town. Kept having to settle for Dunkin Donuts coffee because I refuse to go back to Starbucks, until I was shown this place. A very clean and spacious place to chat with friends or get work done. Super friendly staff as well. They also played The 1975 and other good music so that's a huge plus. Really cool modern dessert and coffee place! Took my family who was visiting Wichita here for dessert after a healthy meal at Lotus Leaf and it was a great time. The 3 and 6 year old loved the ice cream and the children's books that were there, while the adults enjoyed a wide selection of goodies from an espresso shake to pie and shortbread poptarts. Only thing still desired is a more cozy atmosphere. Inside is very open and it can get loud when it's busy.

Located in the heart of downtown Wichita on the west side of the river off of Douglas St... the Delano District. The guy who took our order was super friendly and I ordered a Chocolate Oreo Concrete which was delicious and made rather quickly. The atmosphere is unique with a bit of an industrial design and lovely lighting. Large globe shaped paper lanterns and several large wreath shaped chandeliers that exquisitely decorate the ceiling. Milkfloat is a nice place for sweet treats, coffees, teas, and a small selection of salads and sandwiches on their lunch menu.

I understand that everything is homemade, but the portions are very small. I special ordered a pie about 20 days in advance. I had a voicemail confirming the correct date. On pickup day, they told me it was for the next day and that it was not ready. I spoke with an employee a couple times trying to remedy the mistake. Unfortunately, we were not able to reach an immediate solution. But I do appreciate them reaching out and caring about their brand and image. I did keep my original order because I do honestly love the food here and recommend it to everyone. Just make sure you double-check your orders if you order in advance.

Milkfloat features the most unique and creative desserts in Wichita. They change their menu seasonally and I am always fascinated by what they have to offer. The pop-tarts are probably the standard. The venue has tons of seating and is family-friendly (e.g. board games available, Lego wall at the back, etc.). Be aware that their prices are high due to the uniqueness of their desserts.
