First time there. Lovely folks and yummy treats!! I stopped in for some birthday goodies. What I chose was perfect!!! Raspberry brownie, sprinkle brownie, lemon bar, raspberry bar and button cookies.

Cheri's is great! Marisa and the team were able to crank out 7 dozen cupcakes for me in a pinch (12 hours notice). The cupcakes were awesome, and we also picked up a few seasonal treats as well that lasted only several hours. They're always so helpful and kind as well - would highly recommend!

I don't know if people are just miserable human beings but Cheri's cookies and cakes have always been delicious. I've been purchasing from them for at least 6 years and have NEVER been disappointed. The Frosted Sugar cookies are always decorated so well and taste great. I order cakes for birthday celebrations and they are always rich, moist and decorated well, they have a lot of talent at Cheri's. For the one complaining about a Snowman being "Christmas theme", sorry, snowmen are NOT specifically Christmas, as it snows in January, February and March. The cake you posted to try and tear down a small local business just made YOU look bad.

Cheri's Bakery created a beautiful and delicious wedding cake for us!! The cake was exactly what we pictured and tasted so good. All of our guests complimented the cake! I thought we would have leftovers out of this giant cake but not a bite was left. Delivery was perfect and they placed the cake on the stand for us and added the topper to it for us so we did not have to worry about a thing. Their customer service was also great. Today I called twice, the first time no answer, 2nd time (2hrs later) which was at 3:44pm the lady who answered was already short from the get go but I went on and asked her how much a dozen of cookies star shaped that would be Red, white and blue and said thank you for service would be? She told me the price and I then asked her if it would be possible to place a order just 1dozen and pick up tomorrow before you guys closed and snotty and short the lady says “ummm no” I then said ok could I try and get it for Thursday? Again short and with a attitude says “umm let me look” at that point I just hung up and decided if your staff who works here can’t have better costumer service then I will not be placing any more orders from here anymore. I understand if I was asking for several dozen or something even more complicated but I wasn’t it was one dozen! And there was no reason for the shortness and the attitude to begin with.

Recently stopped by spur of the moment while I was in the shopping center just to see what they had in their display. Got some brownies and button sugar cookies. Tasted fresh and they looked great too. Looks like they do some pretty good work with cakes and everything else so will keep that in mind and do another review if I place any orders for anything other than just a quick sweet snack!

Our wedding cake was perfect! I just wanted plain and simple multi textured cake and a simple grey color and it was perfect looking! It was also amazing tasting!! I picked out my groom’s cake which was chocolate/vanilla swirl cake, and the decorating was a fishing theme! My husband loved it and all his friends thought it was so cool, they are a huge fishing bunch! Everything was amazing they where on timing with delivery, looked and tasted amazing and all the staff was so sweet! We will definitely be using Cheri’s again.

Very yummy cookies! I was looking specifically for some oatmeal raisin cookies for my Father in Laws Birthday. Came across Cheri's bakery during a google search and noticed I could even have them delivered to me using Grub Hub. I had cookies at my door about 45 mins after my order. I was a little nervous at first because who knows how fresh they are when you get them that fast. The cookies felt cold when I first got them so I imagine they store them in the fridge or freezer to help keep them fresh. By this afternoon they were room temperature and such a good texture. Exactly what I was looking for. One of the best oatmeal raisin cookies I've ever had.

Best cake ever!! We have tried most of the other bakeries in Wichita,ks and Cheri's definitely tops them all. The cake tasted amazing ( strawberry flavor ) not too sweet just right. The design was AMAZING greatly exceeded my expectations, way better than what i thought. The price was excellent I felt like my cake was worth three times more than what we paid. Our cake was the talk of the place we had our party at, everyone was taking pictures of it and commenting on how incredible it was. I was definitely pleased with my experience with Cheri's and will always use them every time we need a cake!!!!! Loved Loved Loved our experience cant say it enough. Thank you for making my sons bday a memorable one!!!

The best sugar cookies around. The button ones are the perfect mix of cookie and icing... absolutely delightful. Consistent, beautiful and priced right! As an aside....I just read the other reviews and was sad to see some negative things posted about this place. Each and every time I've been in Cheri's I've been treated very politely and left feeling great. I'm not anyone special, usually my order is for a dozen or less cookies, I'm by no means a "big fish" customer, lol, but I did once order 17 dozen cookies which were perfectly prepared and ready as promised. And....they were devoured and raved about at the event! I'm a small business owner also and understand and appreciate the impact a review can have. This being said, I hope this one at least helps you see what a lovely bakery Cheri's is and that you will decide to try it. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

They make the best cakes!! They are moist and their buttercream frosting is to die for!!! Their design work is also great and they have never let me down. Inside the bakery, they sell a variety of treats you can stop by and take home. I highly recommend them!!

All in all this was a great experience. I ordered 4 dozen frosted cookies (Ninja Turtle) to bring to bring to my son's classes. When I called to place the order, the lady I spoke to was a little unfriendly, but hey, we can all have bad days. When I picked up the cookies today I was very pleased. The lady who helped me in store WAS friendly, the cookies looked amazing and both classrooms thought they were awesome. I have 4 stars because I felt the cookies were a little expensive at $20 a dozen but I also understand local businesses don't get the discounts of larger companies. I will definitely return in the future, and for today, I got to be cool dad.

I wanted a very customized "Curious George" cake for my daughter's 2nd birthday and was frustrated that i couldn't find a cake shop that would take this order for me. (I live in East Wichita). But i found Cheri's bakery and although we traveled 20 miles to their store, it was totally worth it! They did a marvelous job on my daughter's birthday cake. I am very pleased with the customization that they made for us. The cake was absolutely delicious! They are willing to work with you on any customization and even suggested some great ideas. The cake was beyond my expectations and very well priced. I would highly recommend Cheri's bakery!

Soft iced sugar cookies are my favorite and the cake! I absolutely love the button sugar cookies (perfect size) not the cheapest around but by far the best! The cakes are creative and very beautiful or fun if that's what you want and the cookies come in a ton of fun shapes if you need customized.

Love, love, LOVE their frosted sugar cookies. And the Lemon bars are the best I have EVER had! They do take orders, cater and make cakes. Check them out for all of your traditional bakery needs!!

We have been going to Cheri's for all of our birthday cake needs! All we have to do is show a picture or two, share our ideas/theme and it always turns out so cute! Plus, the cake flavors are amazing (white, chocolate, swirl and strawberry are the ones we have tried!). We have never been dissapointed!

This was the first time going to Cheri's Bakery and it was a great experience! I went in to order my daughter's birthday cake and they took down all the details and made sure it was going to be what I wanted. It happened to be National Cookie Day and I received a free sample of thier buttercream button cookies and it was so delicious I ordered a dozen! Friendly staff and very helpful!

I live out of state and ordered a cake for my Grandmother's 103 birthday. It was beyond expectations. The cake was decorated just as I requested (and I was pretty specific and picky). It was ready when I got there (I had a very small window of time). And it was delicious. I could not be happier with the service I received!

Just had our one year anniversary top tier from our wedding cake. We were told that it may not be good, but it is tradition. It was actually pretty good. The ladies we worked with when we ordered our wedding cakes were great, the cakes looked awesome, and everybody loved it.

We have used Cheri's for every occasion in our family since we moved to Wichita years ago and ALWAYS get so many compliments! I tell them the general idea of what I want and they create something fabulous every time! We just had a birthday party in a restaurant and brought a Cheri's cake for dessert and the guy at the table behind us turned around saying "That looks like a Cheri's cake! They're the best!" So I'm pretty sure it's general consensus that they are the best :) And the prices are so reasonable it would be silly to go anywhere else!

This place is a treasure! This is my 2nd time to leave a review, EVER! The employees are AMAZING! It is one of those atmospheres where you walk in and are instantly treated as if you are a friend of the family and not a customer. I had a cupcake and a "button" cookie..they were both outstanding. They were so soft, and fresh, and YUMMY! DO yourself,your spouse,(which in turn would be yourself), your children, someone, a favor and check out the welcoming atmosphere, and tasty treats of this bakery. I guarantee an amazing experience!

I got married in April 2013 and Cheri's was the bakery I used. We had a cupcake tower with a round cake topper, brownies, whoopie pies, and a groom's cake. Everything was beautiful, absolutely delicious and it was reasonably priced. Also, I live in NC and got married in Wichita...the ladies were all very nice and helpful during the planning process which helped relieve a lot of my stress. They were on time and set everything up nicely. I would highly recommend Cheri's to any bride!

I got married almost 5 years ago and had a beach themed reception (since we had a destination wedding). I had NO idea as to what I wanted my cupcake "wedding cake" to look like but they sat my husband and myself in a room with a designer and she just went to work and drew something amazing! They only thing I said was "blue", she did the rest, lol! We picked it up the day of the reception and everyone LOVED the cupcakes! No fondant (thank goodness!) but beautifully decorated in buttercream that tasted just right. Enjoyed the cupcakes for almost a week after the reception too! Have returned every year on our anniversary to get a small round cake for us to enjoy. The prices aren't much greater than what you would pay at Wal-Mart and cakes are custom decorated and you can trust that they will turn out wonderful!

What to say about this lovely bakery...Just delicious! A great place to stop in if your craving something a little sweet or you have a party that you are in a rush for and forgot to grab something to bring. They have sweets already packaged to go for you! 10 out of 10 would recommend! Lol

The most positive thing I can say is that Cheri's cakes & cookies taste good. The most negative thing I can say is that Cheri, herself, is a b**ch, like big time! She made us an $800 cake for our wedding, which I paid for IN ADVANCE, and when my mom went to check in w/ her, Cheri claimed that I had not paid ... until I showed up 30 minutes w/ my receipt. Boy was I pissed! She also messed up a baptism cake for my son and claimed that there was nothing she could do a/b it. If she makes a mistake, it is ALWAYS the customer's fault, never her own. I do continue to have her make sugar cookies for certain events that I have, but I DREAD going in that place. As soon as I find a better replacement I will be giving THEM my business, not this rude woman!

I don’t understand why they don’t charge upfront if you get a square cake but if it’s round you have to pay in advance... I found that odd neverless my mom picked up the cake for me and brought it to the party it didn’t look anything like the pictures. For that amount of money I would think that it would have looked better than that.

Pies are flakey, great, and perfect. Cakes are decent. I'd avoid the sugar cookies though. They're pretty, but expensive, and other cookie stores in town have better flavors

Never been here but based on the review from customer who wrote the very ugly comment about and still chooses to return regularly I'm going to go there today to see how great they are and will confirm the greatness. The response to the ridiculous comment by the owner further confirms that I want to go there. People make mistakes....period. The person who wrote the ugly comment either knows that they don't have a real complaint or they're a gluttonous sugar addict that isn't welcome at other bakeries in town. I've owned a similar business and miserable people love to abuse the "customer is always right" theory. It's highly flawed. Sometimes they are wrong and their business is not really worth having.

I am a baker and after a kitchen mishap I was short a birthday cake for my FIL's party. I called Cheri's and they saved the day with a DELICIOUS carrot cake. I got rave reviews on the "amazing cake, even if you didn't make it!" I wish I could describe to you how moist and flavorful this cake was! Thank you for saving the day, Cheri's!

To no surprise, the cake tasted really good. It was moist, and the buttercream frosting was not overly sweet. I cannot rave enough about this design, though. It was hand “drawn”, and I am more than impressed with it. They did not disappoint on this; and absolutely understood the assignment.
