Kashif and Alex were BEYOND grand today. Maggie and I just wanted to have a fun girls day and wow, we were impressed. The fun picture oops and delicious treats were so good. The atmosphere is so fun too and both allowed us to have a great girls day date! We can’t wait to be at your St. Pete location and we will definitely be back to this spot too!

This place was adorable. It was decorated for Christmas when I went. The staff could not have been better. They were fun, kind, informative, and made the experience. My fiancé and I like this area, and we enjoy trying new things for date nights, new experiences, foods, etc just to keep things fun. We had a blast here. I’d recommend it to anyone.

We had such a great time! We were visiting Tampa on a girls trip and The Cake Drip at Hyde Park was a must stop. I didn't research well enough and was thankful someone canceled their reservation so we could enjoy. Make a reservation ahead of time on opentable!! I wasn't able to leave a review there since we were a walk in vs booking on the website. Kashif did a fantastic job at explaining each step, was a true gentleman, and even took group photos for us without hesitation. I never got the owner's daughters name but she was super sweet too the few times she stopped over! The cheesecake and to go box of sweet treats were delish. The chocolate bar made it home safe and was delish as well. This was a highlight of our trip. Loved the atmosphere. Clean establishment. Friendly staff. ❤️

Ayla and Gabby are awesome! It was our first time, there were 4 of us. The whole experience was worth it! The ladies were so accommodating. The chocolate is really good! We had a really good time as girlfriends. Would definitely come back.

It was an AMAZING experience!! Nothing like this anywhere I’ve ever been. Being able to create your own chocolate bar with many many many different selections! The staff and owner was delightful and so nice. Constantly checking and making sure we had everything we needed. This is a place everyone should visit. Will visit again!

A super cute & fun & totally unique experience like nowhere else I’ve seen before. Part selfie-station, part dessert tasting, and all about the vibe - The Cake Drip in Old Hyde Park, Tampa is 10/10 a great date night. Did I mention the included bubbly? We met the owner’s daughter and she was super sweet. This place is reservations-only and all about making you feel ultra-VIP - velvet rope included. Highly recommend this for date night, tourism (what other cities have something like this??), birthday parties, bachelorette parties, or just some afternoon family fun! Can’t wait to return and try their gingerbread house experience.

This spot has the audacity to be that darn good! Forget that: excellence. Pure excellence. On par or even greater than the “Better Than Sex” dessert restaurant chain out of Key West. The menu has a braggadocious selection of cupcakes, gingerbread houses, chocolate cakes, and a multitude of other desserts. And they will all give your taste buds those electric tingles like your lover does when they are doing the thing that you love! Yeah, you know exactly what I’m talking about! Yes they are crushing the dessert game in Tampa and showcasing a flavor and style all of their own. Hyde Park and all of Tampa can consider themselves lucky that this spot is on the map. If there is ONE thing you need to do in Tampa either off the beaten path or even on the map, THIS IS IT. Go! You will not regret it!

On a girls trip and we were looking for black owned restaurants, and one for the girls found this gem. The place is beautiful, vibrant, and has fantastic music. We did the special of making our own chocolate bar. The drinks were amazing with the candy on the rim. If I’m ever in Tampa again, I will stop by.

Such a unique and fun spot for desserts and all the Instagram pictures! It is definitely more about the experience and it was a little pricey but everything was delicious and the staff was super nice and attentive! $55 per person or $86 per couple. Must have reservations!

I visit the Cake Drip in South Tampa it was amazing I enjoyed my time the owner was very nice & very pleasant, everything was fresh and very tasteful. I would definitely recommend this for a girls night or date night the location is a nice vibe very detailed. I love the style and coziness I definitely will visit again in the future

Personally I had a good time here. The decor and vibe was a nice touch, but the quality of food could use a lot of help. Some of the cake was awfully dry. Wish they could serve wine as well, but they do not. And you are not allowed to BYOB if you do not like the complimentary champagne (which is what makes the cost more reasonable). The chocolate was really good though and from my experience the service met my standards. Definitely good for a girls night. Can’t wait to see what else they have to offer!

The experience was really fun! I enjoyed making a chocolate bar and how cute the place was. However, I only recommend coming here for the experience not the quality of the food. For example, the cheesecake tasting was just the cheesecakes sold in the freezer section of Sam’s club (Member’s Mark Cheesecake Miniatures).

Just opened and I am A M A Z E D at this interior. It is straight up gorgeous with some bumpin' jams and a young groovy atmosphere. Not to mention that their chocolate is literally SO buttery smooth, velvety, and not overly sweet. Everyone was floored with the quality of the chocolate, especially my mother who never eats chocolate because it's usually too sweet, but oh my goodness those MACAROONS. . . Literally the BEST macaroons I have ever had in terms of texture, sweetness, and flavor and I've been to macaroon only bakeries. If you scroll through the photos you'll see my wife's first bite impression, I think you'll understand when you try it too. They offered us complementary champagne with our sampler plate of pistachio, raspberry, and caramel macaroons with a selection of their chocolate spoons and fresh strawberries with a side of this gorgeously luscious melted white and milk chocolate. My goodness, it almost made my wife melt in her seat. I don't think I will have to convince you to just come in and check it out, this place will speak for itself 🙌 Much love and respect for this family run business, they know what's good 👌👌👅 Oof, definitely coming back!

This place is an Instagram hotspot, but I think their dessert was alright. Maybe because I ordered it to go and didn’t make any reservation inside. But, I ordered desert to go and it was small portion for a pretty expensive price and I expected it better. Maybe I came at the wrong night. However, I will give it a try again next time and make a reservation, because my friend said it’s pretty different experience if you’re there.

Love this concept so unique Great staff! Definitely require a reservation in order to enjoy the experience. We made reservations for galentines day on a friday at 2. No wait, very exclusive. Loved to be able to curate your own candy bar. Such cute pictures. Suggestion would be to pay after the experience in order to tip staff more based on service received. Obviously tipping 20% is customary but had we known we wouldve tipped even more she was so fun!!

The BEST service in all of Hyde park. From the moment you walk in the door, it is an experience you won’t forget. All the deserts were delicious and tasted like quality chocolates & cakes. Where do I begin? The entire High Tea Brunch experience was absolutely beautiful from beginning to end. The staff was so professional, kind and attentive. The ambiance was so peaceful, laid back and yet still fun. We enjoyed the variety in music from Nina Simone, Amy Winehouse to The Weeknd. . Perfect for the occasion. The pastries and fruit were so tasty! Fresh and soft, I ate my leftovers for breakfast the next day! The cucumber sandwiches and croissants by far my favorite. The tea pot presentation was so fun and fancy. Overall I would highly recommend this experience and look forward to returning!

Cannot say enough good things about our booked experience. Wow. We came with 8 girls for a Chocolate Bar Making experience and it was absolutely phenomenal. First of all the place is GORGEOUS. If you are looking for a girly fun vibe with great background music and some amazing photo opportunities, book. this. experience. I even saw guys taking their women on a cutesy date here which is a fun idea! The owner of the Cake Drip, Faronda, was at our experience and gave us the absolute best time! She was fun, relaxed, but kept our group engaged the whole time. Her energy was a huge highlight of the whole experience. The Chocolate Bar Making experience was so much fun- each of us got to pick our own toppings, type of chocolate for the bar, and even got to pour it into the mold and add our toppings to our liking. Such a fun personal and creative experience! they even wrapped our bars in pretty gold foil at the end so it’s like getting a little gift that YOU got to make! Thank you, Cake Drip! Y’all were the BEST.

Make your own chocolate. The place was fun. You will get all the ingredients you need for your chocolate. They freeze it for you and give you champaign while you wait. A chocolate board with mini cheesecakes as well as a box with many chocolates and brownies is provided as well. It is an experience which you would definitely love.

This place is so unique! I’ve only seen you laces like this in LA or NYC, I love that there’s such a chic place in FL. The decor, the vibes, omg the chocolate and dessert, SO FREAKING GOOD!!! Stopped by today. Place looks amazing. Unfortunately they were booked for the taste flight and experience inside. So we had to settle with ordering the products to go. Let me just say, what they show online is very different from the actual product you receive as far as presentation and execution goes. And flavor wasn’t too good either. Will probably give them another chance by doing the experience, but definitely sub par flavor and presentation.

This place is amazing, great staff and atmosphere. For the few of you that are leaving negative reviews we all know there’s a select few of you looking to cause problems in Hyde Park for no reason. YOU chose to live where businesses are held (you’re lucky no one opened a night club under you) I work next door to the cake drip and these people are some of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. They close at a reasonable hour and if you’re all so concerned about music levels maybe you shouldn’t have moved into the village above businesses. Just some food for thought. Great place! Don’t let any of these reviews deter you because you won’t regret your experience! **one more thing the latest reviews about music noise are irrelevant considering the cake drip has been closed for about two weeks and those reviews were made less than 24hours ago. Again grow up and stop causing problems for these amazing people.

Loveee it! Went here with a few friends and the entire experience is so cool! We did the Chocolate Tasting Flight. For this experience you make a chocolate bar and taste various desserts such as cheesecake, cake, strawberries and marshmallows etc. You also get complimentary champagne. The place is very cute with lots of photo props. They have really good customer service! The employees and the owner were awesome. The owner came over to our table and chatted with us and even played some songs that we wanted to hear. She was very friendly, welcoming and accommodating for my friend’s birthday. fun experience with tip it was $70 wouldn't do it again and don't think it was really worth the money. I was under the impression the champagne was bottomless because i've seen a few tiktoks stating that it was, but it's not you get one 4oz glass. Overall it was cute. I have not yet tried this place, however... A few weeks ago, my boyfriend and I walked in at 9:05, 5 minutes after closing, just to see what it was about. Im assuming it was the owner, a woman approached us asking if we've ever been in before. We said no we just wanted to try it out. She was so nice and welcoming so much that I wanted to leave a good review before even trying it! She was more than happy to let us come in and enjoy the experience even though it was late! As a business owner, I know how annoying it is when people come in late so her generosity was so appreciated! I am about to make a reservation for my birthday next month so I will give an updated review about the experience. Thank you so much to the owner and the staff! Im so excited to try it out :)

Omg this place is such a vibe! Im only shopping black owned so when my bday Was coming I had to reserve a table at Cake Drip. For first timers here are some details. Always come with a reservation. Every experience is minimum $55 a person But it is worth it for the experience. They encourage lots of Instagram pictures and TikToks So don’t be shy and ask for help they are so great with customer service. What a great experience!!! I went w my husband as a date night after a loooong work week. We were sat at the bar and did the create your own chocolate option w chocolate flight. They give you a glass of champagne even prior to you deciding to do a flight and refill throughout the experience. We did the couple flight and considering the flight, create your own chocolate experience and practically unlimited champagne, it’s such a steal!!! We even had a chance to speak w the owner and she was so incredibly sweet. I really appreciate locals (her and her husband) trying to give a great, intimate experience for their guests. Not to mention the chocolate / cake/ marshmallows were sooooo good. I don’t even eat sweets! Such a great experience! Highly recommend for a date night / girls night out / small group activity. We went on a Saturday I thought I had reservations that night, it was actually Sunday (my mistake) they had an a event going on that night. This place has an interesting concept, it looks really nice and I’m sure it is, but their customer service could use some improvement. Don’t overbook customers for events, then cancel their reservations and sabotage their plans without offering some kind of reparation. It’s tacky. Good way to lose future business too.

Although a bit pricey, it was an amazing experience. Came here with my husband and in-laws. The music and atmosphere was top notch. The whole experience was roughly an hour, evening well spent. While I am not from the area, I will recommend friends traveling this way.

FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I can't say enough about the fabulous service at the Cake Drip. My friend and I were planning a surprise party for another friend and we ordered their Drunk Barbie cake. I was meant to pick it up March 27th. When I showed up, however, I found out my friend accidentally ordered the cake for April 2nd! So the poor people didn't have our cake ready, understandably. This was totally our fault. But they came through right before my eyes! She grabbed a cake, and got all the extras together (icing, fondant, sprinkles, the Barbie, the little plastic toilet, the mini liquor bottles, sticks, scissors) right then. We had also ordered popcorn and macrons, which they also pulled together for us on the spot. I was so impressed with their kindness to pull together an order on the spot and attention to detail when we made the mistake of ordering everything for the wrong day. And everything was delicious. The Cake Drip rocked and came through to make my friend's surprise super special! I cannot recommend the Cake Drip highly enough!!!

While the concept is nice and the staff are awesome, it is wayyyy over priced for what you get. It’s ok for a special occasion just to check it out but wouldn’t go back because spending hundreds of dollars on a chocolate bar and a couple treats on a tray was just kind of ridiculous. The Melting Pot is a way fancier experience for a 1/4 of the price.

Absolutely perfect for date night or a girls night out. Online is hard to make reservations so it is easier to call, it can get pricey but overall loved the experience. I wish they had a day where you could bring kids because my oldest daughter would love this!
