Chef Michael is an absolute gem! We did a pasta class for my moms birthday and had the best time. His home is beautiful, humor on point and made for a truly memorable one of a kind birthday. I'm already planning my daughters birthday there. Do not hesitate to take a class with him, you won't be disappointed!

Chef Michael is truly a talented magician in the bakery department. We came to Tampa as out of towners, the day before Wifey's birthday. I called Chef Michael and told him my situation and he more than took care of me. He went above and beyond! He even delivered after hours to our hotel and added a birthday balloon. His Chocolate Raspberry Vegan cake with Buttercream frosting that had a hint of Coffee was so amazing. It made my wife so happy. The fondant decorations had so much detail. We all loved the cake!!! Cake foodies, will not be disappointed. I wish I took more pictures before we started eating. Thank you so much Chef Michael, you're a blessing!!!!

I worked with Chef Michael for my wedding reception held in August 2019. He made the process so enjoyable. We started with the cake tasting where he not only educated me with the different layers of the cakes, but also helped me picked one and let me customize and match it with my dress and hall decor. He was very kind and flexible to work with. Everyone loved it. Thank you again for the delicious cake.

We had the BEST time with some great friends at Michael’s enjoying a pasta class. He has so much knowledge and is super sweet! He works with everyone and is so patient and understanding. I recommend taking the pasta class and I’m sure all his classes are enlightening and fun for all. My wife and I can’t wait to go back for another one of his classes. We not only made all the food but got to enjoy eating it also. If I could give 100 stars he deserves them!!!!!

We ordered our wedding cake from the shop, and it was amazing. We had so much fun doing our tasting, too. They will work with you to make sure your cake is exactly what you expect. Tons of options, and the sky is the limit when it comes to decorations.

Fabulous experience. One of Chef Michael’s cake decorator left suddenly two weeks before the wedding and called my daughter, the bride to be and gave her some spiel of how she was the only one who could decorate cakes etc. my daughter freaked out and began looking at other places which designed wedding cakes. I called chef Michael and he was so reassuring and specially called my daughter to tell her that she had nothing to worry about. His is a company that has been in business for years so quite obviously he has a team of people not just one person doing a specific job. The wedding cake was lovely, extremely tasty and unlike many weddings the guests ate it. Highly recommended.

We hosted our daughter's birthday party with several of her friends at Let Them Eat Cake. The kids (and several adults) baked personal pizzas and decorated cakes. Chef Michael Baugh made it a memorable experience! Engaging, funny and patient, he let the kids explore his bakery, answered their questions, and showed them how to toss pizzas and decorate cakes. The bakery is quaint, with antique machinery and nooks and crannies, and has a charm of it's own. Our guests loved the unique experience and the birthday girl was over the moon! I heartily recommend Let Them Eat Cake for children's parties.

LOVE this place, LOVE Chef Michael and his staff! LTEC was one of two preferred vendors included in our package for our wedding and we were so happy with with our choice. Tasting was so much fun with Chef Michael. Cake came out beautiful AND delicious, and the surprise groom's cake came out perfect. Our 1st anniversary cake was just as delicious (and decorated like our wedding cake) and I just ordered our 2nd anniversary cake. We look forward to getting an anniversary cake every year. Can't recommend them enough!

Got a cake for my boyfriend's birthday and it turned out AWESOME! He had a huge smile on his face all night. It taste great too.. all in all, I had great experience with Chef Michael and his staff. Definitely would recommend them to anybody in the Tampa area.

Let Them Eat Cake is amazing! I owe them a big thank you for making my daughter's Wonder Woman cake on short notice. The cake was beautiful and the flavor of the black and white cake was to die for! I will be using them again for sure!

The experience at Let Them Eat Cake is not to be missed for brides in Tampa. From the cake tasting to finalizing details Chef Michael was funny, creative, he listened, and delivered our perfect wedding cake. We had two different flavors, Boston cream and jour de nuit (choco and vanilla) and our guests raved about our cake. At our first meeting we had a wonderful tasting. We felt Chef was a little distracted but the bakery is always busy (with repeat customers!) which was a great sign. When we discussed the design I presented ideas we had agreed upon prior and Chef was happy to accommodate and made suggestions as well! Our cake came out PERFECT, thank you Let Them Eat Cake!!

Fab Cakery

I ordered my Birthday cake for there. It looked AMAZING but, Chef Micheal told us that it was $75 for a 3 layer cake and charged us $260! He said if I helped a certain amount of days he would take off some money. I helped a day under his requirement and we made him take it off considering the price he told us when we ordered it! Also the cake did NOT taste good. It was not moist and not very tasty!

Chef Michael will knock your socks off. Really! You need suspenders because the cakes are butterlicious beyond your wildest expectations. First my wedding cake and then my daughter's wedding cake and wonderful special cakes and desserts in between. You'll run over and waddle away with a piece of heaven on a cake plate.

Great & creative cooking camp for younger kids up to pre teens. Nice, friendly & the kids bring home their creations each day. Our 6th grader learned so much about baking & world cuisine. Definitely will return next summer...both girls & boys enjoy this Cooking Camp.
