The donuts here are exceptional. They aren’t too sweet and they’re so fluffy, it feels like you’re biting into a cloud. Unfortunately, the breakfast sandwiches suck. Makes sense since their name is hole in one DONUT. I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese sand which on Cuban bread but received an egg sandwich. They gave my my actually sandwich that I ordered but if you see the pictures attached, sad is the only word that can be used to describe the image.

Stopped in afer some recommendations about this being the best place to get donuts in Tampa. Well, everyone was right! I got the "Special Dozen" and me tell you, they were beyond expectations. The glazed just melted in your mouth, the fritter was delicious and all the others I've tried so far were incredible. Highly, highly recommended!

Such a great spot for a simple breakfast. The ham and cheese sandwich is deceiving. It looks a little plain and lifeless it it was oh so good. I wish I had it soon so I could have gotten it all week. Their Boston cream donut was amazing filled with a bunch of cream and still warm from being baked earlier in the day. Such a great spot with low prices.

My son and I come here to get our donut fix. Always fresh and you can taste the difference from them vs the big chains. We love this place, it has other items Ike breakfast sandwiches and café con Leche. The specialty dozen is the best option. This has been our little ritual every other Saturdays.

Great donuts at a reasonable price. I got 6 of them for $7.10: two Boston creams, one jelly, one apple fritter, one with sprinkles, and one with striped frosting. The apple fritter was still slightly crispy, so I imagine it was quite fresh. My favorites were the jelly and Boston cream because the fillings were not overly sweet like the donuts at, say, Dunkin Donuts or Krispy Kreme. The Boston cream donut doesn't have a strong chocolate flavor though, but whether that's good or bad depends on your preference.

HANDS DOWN BEST DONUTS IVE EVER HAD !! The food is just as amazing as the staff is . I’ve never been treated with so much gratitude before . They make my food exactly how I ask them to . The donuts are mouth watering. I drive an hour just to eat here . The lady that makes my sandwiches ( Sarah ) has a smile that will brighten your day . I’ve never ever had a bad experience here and I’ve been coming everyday for almost a year now . This is a family owned business and they are such wonderful people . I highly recommend the glazed croissant and the French curlers they will change your life and you can’t forget the apple fritters and the CUBAN SANDWICH!!

This was always my favorite place to go for donuts; so much that I bragged to friends & co-workers that "they are better than Krispy Kreme"! But my last experience has left a bad taste in my mouth! Yesterday I phoned in @ 5:05 AM to pick up a dozen glazed + 6 other donuts! I was told "no problem....see you soon"! When I arrived at 5:35 AM I was told "your order is not ready, we don't have any glazed...they are making them right now." Anxiously asked, because I had to be at work across town by 6 AM, "well how much longer will it be"? And told that..."well they are just now making it & maybe 5 more minutes?" By now it is 5:40 & knowing I would be late to work I declined the order & left! How do you run a donut shop that opens @ 5 AM & not have any GLAZED DONUTS @ 5:35 AM? I feel they sold my order to someone else & no other offer was made to make it right (they deliver so that was an option)! I will NEVER shop their again!

Hole in One is a great little hole in the wall breakfast and donut place. I love their donuts! I think they're probably the best in Tampa. If you catch them when they're fresh out of the oven, they're even better!! Price-wise, it's not too bad around 9 for a regular dozen and 10 for the special dozen. I got a special dozen and replaced the jelly for the glazed croissants (yum!). I definitely recommend!

I went on a Saturday because I was craving delicious donuts, and your regular old franchise (you know which one I'm taking about) just wasn't gonna cut it. That half hour commute was WORTH IT. A dozen donuts and a coffee rang up for around $12. Every bite was as delicious as the last. I never wanted it to end. There was definitely a wait with the line never less than 15 strong, and a lot of the donuts were in the back (being made). But these were everything I wanted and more, and the customer service was excellent. 10/10 will go again. P.S. they're closed on Sundays

They didn't have a wide variety when we were here but what they had was good. Especially the blueberry and strawberry doughnuts. The kids scarfed their eclairs down, too, so I guess they enjoyed those as well. The parking and seating g at this store is limited so I recommend parking down towards the hookah store and getting your doughnuts to go. There is a park nearby that has more seating.

Small local shop, BEST and freshest doughnuts I've ever had. Get there early, there was a line out the door. But also get there early to get the glazed croissants while they are still warm, unbelievably good. If you are a fan of Apple Fritters, then you know it's those little crispy edges and apple bits all over a super soft, light dough with plenty of apple pieces all throughout. I can easily say Hole in One Donuts has the BEST apple fritters I've ever tasted, Perfectly done. Try ALL of their donuts, simply amazing. DEFINITELY worth a trip to get them.

I've had a lot of good donuts over the years in a lot of different places, but I always come back(for the past eight years).It is also my go to when I get donuts for my office. If you're into the artisan or vegan style donuts; this will probably be a pass for you. But If you want a delicious no frills donut this is your place. They have a great variety and it's run by some quality people. Get there around 5:30am-6:00am for optimal options. Do yourself a favor when you go and get a glazed croissant. If you ever trust a random person on the internet, let it be on this. They also have a solid line up of breakfast sandwiches.

And the price is excellent! Always go at 5 am when they open so there is no line...but even when there is a line they do what they can to keep it moving. Barring none, Hole in One Donuts at the Lithia Pinecrest location is the best I’ve ever had - and I worked at a bakery when I was young! Despite the distance, we get there once a week or as often as time and our weight allow :) The flavors are expertly crafted - the best sour cream and maple frosted you could ask for. They’re made fresh from the wee hours and they’re all gone by closing. The owner and his children do the baking and serving and they’re as nice and friendly as anyone we’ve met. Nicer actually. Thank goodness we found Hole in One Donuts - our search for delicious morning munchies is over!

Excellent donuts and service! Staff is efficient and nice which is why it’s so busy! Donuts are not hard (like other places), and are fresh. The bagels are soft and delightful to eat:) I would recommend if you’re ordering a large order, please call ahead or at least know what you want prior to ordering. There are times when someone is order 5-6 dozen donuts, and do not know what they want. This holds up the line tremendously, even with the highly efficient staff.

I have been here a few times during the pandemic. They have a solid set up. You now order via a counter they crafted into the main door. They have a separate opening to the outside in addition to the one in the door. They were all wearing masks. Friendly, efficient staff as usual. I get the feeling that they are glad to see customers, something I look for in mom and pop places but do not always see. Donuts were still warm. A rude man picking up a large order (looked like around 8 dozen) for Epiphany of Our Lord seemed to be taking a no mask stance and was being very rude. The staff did not skip a beat, one staff took over for another, in a pleasant/respectful way. I would be hard pressed to stay so composed. Keep up the good work. Sour cream & glazed donuts freshly made....wonderful! This place often has several customers there right when they open at 5am. Friendly, efficient staff.

This is one of two shops. The original one is on Alexander Street in Plant City. They are a family run business that makes fabulous donuts. I think they are the best in the area. Try their apple fritter. It is huge and absolutely delicious. All their other donuts are great too. Just a warning, do not bite into a jelly donut while driving. You will be wearing some of the ample filling from the donut. Not one for diabetics to eat. Be there early as they sell out fast most days. They are usually open early until early afternoon or until donuts run out. There are a few tables to eat there if you wish and you may find a line. They are very fast in getting you the donuts you want and get you on your way.

Best donuts ever!! Great prices, super friendly staff, did I mention they have the best donuts? My only issue is that the store is a bit small and can quickly become crowded. But I personally think it's worth it. Oh, and you should custom order a custard filled donut with maple glaze. Take my word for it!

This place was really good. It was incredibly busy and that's usually a good indicator that somewhere is good. We got a couple donuts and some breakfast sandwiches. It was all really tasty. I'm supposed to be getting my body back in the new year! The donuts are sooooo good. I've been coming here for the past 2 years and I've got to say I've never been disappointed, it's become a special place for my mom and myself. Our go-to is the bacon, egg and cheese cuban and a jelly donut. I feel bad for this establishment though, majority of their negative reviews are because they were temporarily closed earlier this year due to covid-19 and people did not call ahead. Advice with everything going on this year if you are on a time crunch, call ahead and make sure they are open, if they are get there and get yourself one of their delicious sandwiches and donuts and start your morning right!

Simply the best old fashion donuts in Tampa. Order by phone so you don't miss out. The glaze donuts have amazing texture. The lemon is a palatable zing zing full of filling. The jelly is joyful too. Although I still think the staff is friendly, the prices are good, and the food is delicious, I've had multiple issues getting fast service here the past month. They have two lines going (one inside and one outside), but sometimes it seems only one person is working both lines. They also seem to have only one contactless purchase device which easily gets misplaced. The other week, I waited 15 minutes for six donuts that were just sitting in the display window. I watched at least half a dozen customers walk away as opposed to deal with the lines. Today, the lines were just as bad, and only one person seemed to be working the counter. This time, I walked away (and saw at least one other person left as well). That's like, lost business! How much money are they not taking in because of these simple fixes? They know Sunday morning is going to be busy, so maybe they need to have everyone (including the manager) helping out. I am sure there is some 15-year-old out there that just wants to work 4 hours on a Sunday morning putting doughnuts in a box. Honestly there is no better doughnut place in the area, so I will keep trying, and I am optimistic the issues will be resolved.

After Krispy Kreme stopped offering their chocolate frosted cake donut (my favorite), I reluctantly went to Dunkin Donuts and found theirs to be a surprisingly good alternative. Then...Dunkin also stopped offering it. I decided to see if there were any other donut shops to try in Tampa. Todays was my first time here and I ordered two donuts and an egg biscuit (total=$3!). The donuts were DIVINE, so light and fluffy! And each well under a dollar. As for the egg biscuit, the biscuit tasted prepackaged and wasn't appetizing. Everyone seemed to order a croissant for their breakfast sandwiches and the cuban bread had already run out so maybe I just ordered wrong. Will be back for sure!

I visited for the first time a couple weeks ago, on a recommendation from a friend. Its a small shop with a few tables. When I arrived, the line was almost out the door. The pricing/menu were clear and easy to understand; and the employees were friendly. I ordered half a dozen donuts, and three sausage rolls. The sausage rolls were slightly above average. The sausage itself tasted like a typical hot-dog with cheese. The dough is what made the roll delicious. It was yeasty, and soft, even after sitting in the bag for a few hours. The doughnuts were good. I prefer another place in Winter Haven, but these are probably the best in the Tampa area. They were warm when we got them, and they tasted fresh; unlike places like Dunkin Donuts or Krispy Kreme. However, after a few hours, the doughnuts were not nearly as soft or delicious. I would go back, probably more for the sausage rolls than the doughnuts. I would probably try some other pastries as well. Overall, this is a good place to go if you want fresh, homemade tasting doughnuts in the Tampa area. Much better than any chain doughnut shop.
