So busy the line was out the door! Despite that, my props go out to the Sunday morning staffing manager because things went fast but there weren't so many employees working that they would be tripping over each other. I enjoyed a gluten free sausage breakfast boy and it was fantastic! Not really tough or as dense as other gf items. Filling and tasty!

We were visiting from Omaha, NE and heard this was one of the places we must try! We went on a Sunday morning around 10am. For as busy as the restaurant was (line was to the door), they moved us through the line quickly and I didn’t feel rushed to scarf down my food once we got it. We got the pizza bagel on Asiago and a salmon bagel with veggie cream cheese and lettuce, onion, and capers. The bagels were fresh and soft. I love the variety of bagel and cream cheese flavors they offered. We even got some 1/2price day old bagels to take back home with us! Will definitely stop by again if we’re in the area.

After 13 hours on the road, we took a gamble on a small bagel place, and we won the jackpot. Made my tummy, my wallet, and my soul happy. Crowded place but they still pump out bagels like spikes on the transcontinental railroad. If I could describe this location in 3 words it would be “literally bagel heaven”

I can't believe I haven't left a review for this place years ago! I grew up in this city, and bagel boy was always the place to go while I was in high school. I still go there now, often. Inexpensive, and good food! My particular favorite is the pizza bagel. But there's other menu items that I'd love to try! Great lattes as well 😊 fantastic service! They get things done quickly and efficiently.

Today was my first time trying Bagel Boy! It was a decent experience with both pros and cons. Pros: First off, the customer service was phenomenal. I love the choices and variety and the environment is enjoyable as well! Cons: The bathrooms was filthy at 9am indicating that it hasn’t been cleaned for the day since the toilet was dirty inside and out. Bathroom garbage was full, and floors were dirty. They also have a small section where yogurt and pasta can be grabbed togo. I was interested in the pasta but it looked a little old so I searched high and low for a date on the items and could not find any. For a restaurant with a food license this is mandatory to have. I’d more than likely come back, but I’d like to see some of these cons worked on. I think this place has a lot of potential! Thank you for serving me!

A must stop every time we're in town. Every single time! Real bagels boiled and baked perfectly. Add whatever you want on them. Toasted and sliced.... made to order, organized and always fresh. This place is always busy and that's a great sign. Very clean and organized. Many cold specialty drinks also. I love this place.

Went to Bagel Boy on S. Minnesota for the first time last week. First off, the staff: They are super friendly and very patient. I mentioned this was my first time at Bagel Boy and every staff member paused what they were doing and looked over at me and said "welcome". That was awesome. Now the food: I wasn't sure what to order because of the excellent selection of ingredients they offer. After a little discussion with the staff I got the blueberry sausage egg and cheese bagle. It was delicious. The price was no more than you would pay anywhere else. I will absolutely be going back.

The quality and experience at this location is much better than the one on 26th Street. Although every busy restaurant should require staff masks, Bagel Boy does not. Otherwise, bagels are delicious, soups are yummy, and coffee from The Breaks is on point.

Went about 1pm and it was packed! I wasn't sure how their ordering system worked (you have to go through this sort of line system,) but friendly staff helped me figure it out. Ordered a turkey club and it was GREAT! Loved it! We also ordered a pumpkin spice latte (hot,) which was not very good at all. After several sips, we decided the lady who prepared it probably forgot to put in the pumps of flavoring. Will go back, though because of that amazing sandwich =)

I really enjoy bagel boy, the workers are nice and I go there frequently, but I keep having a reoccurring problem where i say sun dried tomato bagel and they give me a cinnamon raisin bagel. Its terrible on a veg head and artichoke melt. it’s happened 3 times now with different employees too and i made sure after the first time to say it loud and clear but it keeps on happening. lol its kind of funny because who would order that on a savory bagel sandwich, it tastes terrible. other than the terrible flavor combo, love the place.

I live quite a few miles and don’t have access to fresh bagels. I stopped into pick up some bagels to put in my freezer. I enjoy having 1/2 of one each day. I bought the crispy cinnamon and blueberry. They are the best bagels I have ever had. I will be back soon, as I can’t keep away from them. The food was pretty good here. A wide variety of menu, both hot and cold. A good selection of drinks and other sides, if so desired. Ordering was a little hectic. You had to order the food, and then tell the cashier again what you ordered. They need a system so I don't have to do everything twice. But it was our first time here, so maybe the double-ordering inefficiency makes more sense when you come regularly.

So I spoke with Brenda and she made this right. She agreed I was overcharged. Changing my rating based on the conversation I had. The bagels are delicious. I will be going back. Still steamed. Yesterday I paid over $55 for 14 bagels. I had the bagels wrapped individually and cream cheese were in individual servings so I could serve them at the office and meet Covid protocols. Wow, I didn't know that would more than triple the price. I bought a dozen two weeks ago for home and it cost $18.22. I guess people have to make money during pandemic, but I have other choices and I will make a different place my choice next time.

They aren't extremely helpful to new customers. The bagels tasted good but the cream cheese selection is lacking. The savory bagels seem to have more options so I went across the street to Hy-Vee to get cinnamon and blueberry spread.

The bagels are so good! The hummus is good too, but it was better before Bagel Boy changed the recipe. I wish they would go back to their old hummus, because it was some of the best hummus I've ever had. Regardless, this is a great local business in a cozy location. It's cheap, convenient, and comfortable.

So I went to Bagel Boy today how about 10:30 to meet my daughter whom I hadn't seen in many years because I was not living in Sioux Falls Bagel Boy has always been top match phenomenal food everyday. I know the owners in the manager and they're awesome people very caring very giving. Would recommend this establishment to anyone worldwide it is worth your time to stop in and Sample the food and let's not forget the awesome coffee they have by all means please stop in and try them!!!

The Minnesota Ave location is quite precise constructing my smokin' fish breakfast bagel Sammy. Open face, with light capers salmon tomato and red onion on a toasted everything bagel. Delish.

We are from out of state and thought we would try this place. WOW! It blew us away . The bagel variety was great as was the toppings. I highly recommend the spinach and artichoke topping on an everything bagel. We will be stopping before we leave out of town tomorrow!! Gotta take some home!!

I have been a Bagel Boy fan for many years. I'm not such a fan of the new location but maybe that's just due to nostalgia. I visited SF recently and went to this new location. The staff that day were not very friendly and were actually a bit rude. Three stars because I still love Bagel Boy! EDIT, Response to owner: You'd better believe I'll be back! Yes, the parking lot is a definite improvement on the old location.

Love bagel boy! The cinnamon crunch bagel is delicious. I only gave four stars because the first time we ever tried it, the staff were not very kind. We didn’t really know what to do since we had never been there and staff grew impatient. And may I say it wasn’t very busy. But now that we know what we like to order and can move right through the line we have had zero problems. Delicious food and great prices. Big place that usually has spacious seating.

Best bagels I've ever had. They have a great skin and enough chew. For me, they are head and shoulders above anything else in town. Plenty of options for breakfast and lunch, plus snacks and goodies. Qi have been a customer since it opened. My orders have been correct except for the last few months. More mess ups than not. Today i ordered my turkey clubs on onion bagels and they turned out to be on everything bagels instead. Once got someone else's bagel too. Being wrapped in foil when they hand them to you doesn't help either especially if you get them to go.

I was visiting in Sioux Falls from Phoenix Arizona and I went to Bagel Boys two out of the three days I was there. I wish we had something like that down in Phoenix. They have an amazing selection of different Bagel sandwiches kind of both for breakfast and a regular meal

When we moved to Sioux Falls a little over a year ago we started buying bagels at Bagel boy.....They were quite good, even the day old ones. However, we have found that the rudeness of the staff overshadows the great taste of the food, therefore, we quit going. They have lost all our business until they change their staff OR the people who work there realize that it is not that difficult to be pleasant. such a shame

Called in an order-lady on the phone was friendly, service was excellent, food was correct and on time. Inside of the restaurant was clean. Probably the one downside was the fat, sweaty older man who was talking over me to his clerk while I was trying to check out. I assume the owner? I love Bagel Boy! A must stop if you’re visiting Sioux Falls. As I regular, I’m so sad when I go out of town because I can’t find a bagel shop that even comes close to comparing. They have many options for breakfast and lunch. Soups is great too. Fresh fruit, veggies, yogurt, etc. are available which isn’t always the case at other bagel shops. Quick service makes a to go order very easy however the large dining area is great when meeting a friend or just hanging out. My favorites are: bacon breakfast boy, cinnamon crunch bagel with walnut cream cheese, or pizza pizza bagel.

Most of the time we truly enjoy the bagels here. Quite often we get the bacon breakfast boy bagel and ask for Dijon mustard on it and quite often the staff forgets to get the mustard on it. This particular visit the entire order was correct and tasted amazing.

Always a local favorite. The Breakfast Boy sandwiches are a great choice. The coffee isn't necessarily spectacular, but when taken together with all the bagel options, it's a great place to grab breakfast on the run, or sit with friends for an hour or so.

Better bagels then the other place little small but they are fresh and not frozen and the nice thing is that they are half the price versa the other bagel shop in town and with bagelboy you get what you pay for , I would give a 5 but the other bagelboy in town wasn't the best due to costumer service with cashiers and I didn't get hardly any cream cheese on my bagels even though I played for extra but maybe it was a not good day IDK but I will come back at least to the Minnesota Ave one where they get a 5 . love there bagels 😊😊😊😊😊

Quality food - but prefer the other location. Darker lighting and service was not as great. One of the older women working there was barking orders at the poor high school students working there (they all looked kind of miserable). Seating area is also more cramped than the other location - drive thru is a bonus!

Agree with previous post regarding nostalgia and being a long time loyal customer. Service is hit or miss, they are sometimes indifferent and almost rude but other visits are great and friendly so an extra star for those great visits.
