Reviews of Raised Doughnuts and Cakes

Nice place for doughnuts and not very busy on a Saturday morning. We tried four different doughnuts and I liked the maple bar the best. Will definitely have it again. The next one which I liked was the Dalgona. This was coffee based and I liked it as well. The tahini chocolate was something new for me. Although I liked it, my wife did not prefer that one. We also took the plain glazed and it was pretty good.

Small and cute donut shop, donuts are made from raised dough with cream on top. There are several flavors and a couple more on the weekend (Fri-Sun). I had an "everything" donut, it tasted fresh and delicious.
No in-store shopping at the moment, you can peek through the big window and order at the door.

I had been meaning to stop in for a while. Today I roamed the area and it had changed soooo much in the last 5 years (I only live 1 mile away).
The location is stunning. I walked in and it felt fancy, inviting, made me want to buy everything on the menu.
I got there around 1130-12 and they make everything for the day and start selling off. Therefore I only had 8 options instead of the normals 15 or so. The donuts were unique and all sounded appetizing. I grabbed a sweet corn and raspberry donut hole, with a nitro cold brew.
Tasted amazing. Prices were very in line with what I would expect and service was great.

I was actually looking for a cake vendor for my wedding, and my friend recommended this place. And I'm so glad she did, because their cake was a HUGE HIT! Not only did I become a returning customer, but some of our guests were converted too! I haven't actually tried their doughnuts yet, but their cakes are absolutely delicious!

Best donuts I’ve had in a long time! Freshly made. The donuts felt cake-like in every bite. Unique flavors made the experience a lot better. Each donut fills you up!
MaddiezMunchies
Gluten free mochi donuts were ok. If you like an airy, more fried donut this is for you. On the smaller size of donuts but reasonably priced. The cafes dog is super cute.

We used Raised Doughnuts and Cakes as our wedding cake vendor and they were amazing. While we knew exactly what flavors we wanted after living near the shop and tasting flavors since they opened, Mi was so helpful in helping us figure out how much cake to order and how best to decorate the cakes as well. Everything about the process was very flexible yet professional. Communication was easy, paying and pick-up were simple, and best of all perfect in both taste and value. We had many of our guests compliment the cakes. We'd highly recommend Raised Doughnuts and Cakes for their wedding cakes, and of course their normal selection of cakes and doughnuts as well.

I did enjoy the donuts I got, my only issue is there seemed to be a base flavor similar to olive oil/savory flavor I wasn’t used to. I’m sure this means they don’t use as much sugar in their donuts which is good but honestly if I’m gonna have a donut I’d rather it be sweeter and less healthy. I’m not going for health when I’m having that donut once in a while craving.

TL;DR: One of the best small batch donuts in the WORLD - with great Asian and seasonal flavors.
WE LOVE RAISED DOUGHNUTS! My husband's favorite treat has always been donuts, so we've had our fair share of donuts all around Seattle, Portland, and any international trips - but Raised has always been our favorite!
Every donut is so tastefully (delicious AND instagram able) and thoughtfully (creative flavors) crafted. The classic mochi donut is incredible and wows all the friends we've brought boxes of donuts to. We also love the classic maple bar, any seasonal fritters (like the gingerbread one pictured), and anything with a fruity glaze (like the pandan mochi donut pictured) - yummm.
COVID protocols: the owner Mi has made things so easy and health-first. You can call in to order (and reserve those special flavors cause they go QUICK!) and pick up later in the day or plan ahead and order in advance on their website. The donut shop has 2 parking spots, which are usually free because people just drop by to pick up. Mi is always so kind, personable, and reliable. It's a great experience every time. Since we can't wait to dig in, we end up parking on the street and eating them in the car. 😋
Raised Cakes update (8.12.21): Mi makes custom cakes now and they are SOOOO GOOD! I'm going back to Raised any time I need to celebrate someone.

I've gotten donuts from here before and loved how soft and fluffy they were, so I thought I'd treat myself to one today. I showed up around 11:15 on a Sunday and they were already out of a lot of stuff, but thankfully, they still had the ones I was eyeing. I got the bacon blue cheese blueberry, sweet corn, and black sesame mochi (all from their July flavors).
The bacon blue cheese was really unique! Strong flavors from the cheese, but I'd get it again. The sweet corn was a bit plain to me -- the corn flavor was almost non-existent, even with the corn topping. The black sesame mochi also missed the mark. It was good, and I really wanted to like it, but I was expecting more black sesame flavor. The photo on their menu showed the donut ABSOLUTELY COVERED in black sesame, but mine had a handful of sprinkles, and it was really tiny for a $3 donut. All of the donuts had that signature Raised Doughnuts pillowy-ness, and I'll keep coming back for that. I just wish the flavors were true to their names.

This airy, bright but unassuming industrial bakehouse in Central District (no I’m not Stefan from SNL) captured my heart right away. You should order your donuts online the day before and pick up before 1pm, or just go there the day-of before noon and hope they still have the donuts you want. They have specials on Friday and Saturday (and possibly other days but I don’t remember).
I truly am not a donut guy — very occasionally if I’m feeling randy I’ll get a nice Krispy Kreme, or if I’m super depressed and flying into BOS or JFK (sometimes EWR or LGA but those are really dark chapters in my life) I’ll get a niceee Dunkin’. Yes, I am aware of General Porpoise, Top Pot, Voodoo, Blue Star, even some other popular Portland donuteries. They don’t do a donut or a slice of cake the same way Amandine Bakeshop did a macaron though… and frankly the blueberry donut at M&M donut in this shhh-hole (Trump said it first) parking lot stand in Anaheim, CA blew all those pretentious would-be donuts out of the water.
However, when I bit into the caramel crunch cruller at Raised Donuts and Cakes, I knew I had found a donut I could trust — a donut I could love!
THANK YOU, RAISED DONUTS AND CAKES OF CENTRAL DISTRICT, SEATTLE!
Cole Mickens
Yo, these folks are awesome! Amazing donuts, super friendly, new donuts monthly, what's not to love. The gluten-free mochi donuts are quite a stand-out star in my opinion, too.
Ethan Mertz
The Apple fritter is very good. The staff was nice and let me have a rubber band when I asked
Colton Ostermiller
Been wanting to come here for a long time. Finally made it today and was not disappointed. The passion mochi donut was absolutely scrumptious. All the flavors this month were tasty. Definitely will be coming back!
Selena Chu
Absolutely delicious! The donuts completely blew me away. My husband and I ordered 4 donuts and 2 coffee, and it was a very fulfilling breakfast. I was definitely a bit sugar-overdosed afterwards, but it was worth it! It’s a small but cozy space.

Favorite donut place in Seattle, hands down. The owner is a super awesome POC lady who is very friendly, has an adorable dog and does recipe testing on Thursdays! The shop is open until her morning batch of donuts sells out, so depending on business they can get sold out and closed as early as 11am on a Monday (when we first went!). Because it's largely one woman making donuts every morning at 2am no wonder there isn't always a huge quantity ~~ but everything is really good!! The blackberry cruller was amazing and the pull-apart quality was really satisfying ~~ and the kinako mochi donuts are deliciously nutty, dense and chewy! I didn't get to try a savory donut (limited edition flavors are usually released on weekends, a single different one each Sunday/Saturday) and posted on their instagram! She also super generously gave me a box of 3 kinako donuts she was recipe testing on Thursday with my name written on it 😭💞💕 love her fusion asian flavors!!! Go give them support and eat lotsa donuts!!
Michael Natkin
Clearly the best donuts in Seattle. Not just innovative flavors but also super well executed. I like that the donuts aren’t too huge, you can eat a couple and not feel gross. The black sesame ring was my favorite so far.
Diane Thach
My husband and I decided to go to a few donut places in one day recently and this was our favorite of the 4! They have small batches, so you know everything is fresh! We loved their unique selection/flavors and the texture of the donuts! We were also delighted to find out that they sold pupnuts (little doggie donut holes) so our dog Otus could join in on the fun! Cute shop interior too!!
Michelly Calzadilla
Good inventive doughnuts. There's a line if you arrive when they open (9:00 AM) so be ready to wait 15 mins. The Everything Bagel Donut was surprisingly good - like a soft airy bagel without the jaw workout. The Pineapple Upside Down was too oily for my taste, but decent overall. Staff was nice and prices were fair. I'd recommend coming here.
Caitlin Conley
Amazing! This is right by a rapidly growing and changing part of the CD. For COVID precautions, they ate outside to greet you and take your order, so it’s minimal contact. Their classic apple fritter did not disappoint, and the gingerbread fritter they have for December is SO good. Gooey, soft, fresh, and sweet perfection. Can’t wait to go back to try some of their weekend specials!
Lauren Fulton
First time we came around 12pm on a Sunday and they were already sold out! The second time we called ahead to reserve doughnuts, but they had some available anyway at around 10am. These doughnuts are delicious. Particularly loved the toasted coconut special and will be going back to try the mochi flour doughnuts.
Matt Krause
Interesting flavor ideas, was tempted mainly because of the mochi donuts for something different. Caramel crunch was very unexpectedly subtle while the black sesame had fantastic flavor. Big downside is the price of the donuts which are also fairly small in size, see banana Pic for reference. Also the mochi donuts ended up disappointing due to their greasy sogginess, not fried at the right temp I guess.
Shawndelle J
I bought 5 donuts and some holes and forked over 20 bucks! The flavors are creative and I don't mind the small size, but the price is too high for small clever donuts with the wrong texture that don't taste as exciting as they sound. Also, I got there around 720am and the donuts seemed not that fresh🤷🏻♂️
Shared with friends who I didn't realize had had them before and weren't that impressed either...but their kids devoured them.
That being said, the store was hip and clean and the staff was wicked friendly.
David Felt
Awesome doughnuts, MiKim is the best when it comes to everything baking! Doughnuts are a must try. Best around!
Gotta love the monthly change of donuts. Carmel Crunch for October are my favorites!
😋🍩😋🍩😋🍩 Go Go Donuts!
Noodle the mascot is awesome! 🐩

Cute little shop with some of the best donuts I've ever had, and I've had a lot of donuts. The donuts are light with a nice crispy/chewy exterior and soft/doughy interior, making it easy to try a few flavors without feeling like you just ate a bunch of donuts. Flavors are well thought out with plenty of classic as well as seasonal options that exceeded expectations. Dehydrated strawberry with balsamic drizzle was packed with flavor and the maple bar and mochi dusted with sugar made me regret not buying a full dozen. Parking is a bit of a challenge but manageable.
Jimmy Zee
Incredible donuts and service! I'm going to have to come back earlier for more flavors! I like the no waste philosophy as well :)
Cristobal Leal
Good donuts, some of the rotating options we had were great (big fan of the mango mochi). Everything donut was a hit too. Price is also reasonable given the creativity and attention to detail.
Cat Koehn
So much more delicious and so much more variety than a standard donut joint. We loved the raspberry donut holes (tangy and amazing!), apple fritters, and everything else we tried.
H D
Absolute gem of a shop. The raspberry doughnut holes were unlike anything I’ve ever had at a doughnut shop. Definitely a must try. The pumpkin fritter was also such a unique option. Every bite was wonderful.
Natalie Trongtham
Raised Doughnuts has great doughnuts....But I wanted to give Mi a shoutout for Raised Cakes. Raised started doing cakes not that long ago. I did not hear about them until I saw a foodie friend post a birthday cake she bought from Raised. I was looking to find a wedding cake vendor, and I loved Raised's cake flavor options! It is a mix between American style and Asian style fruit cakes. I was a little worried since they are so new, but the cake flavor was totally my taste and Mi was so nice and professional with all of her communication. She made us a beautiful tiered wedding cake and we got SO many compliments on the taste! I got the funfetti cake with whipped cream and fresh strawberry filling with white chocolate pearls. My family and I are so excited to be ordering our birthday cakes from Raised in the future!
Emily Min
I had a cake made (red velvet). It was delicious!! Flavorful, not too sweet (haha the ultimate compliment!), and very reasonably priced for a custom cake. Also, the shop is beautiful! Can't wait to come back for a leisurely cup of coffee + donut!
oren
Great smaller sized raised donuts. Tons of flavor in every bite. Apple fritter, peach fritter and a regular were delicious. They have a new location with excellent indoor seating and still incredible amazing donuts with new seasonal flavors that continue to impress.
Rachel Koller
This place was very cute! The owners are extremely helpful! we tried a lot of the donuts this am! My favorites were the black sesame and the coconut and ubue**sp? The texture of these donuts is on point! Great addition to the neighborhood.
Anna L
Love their donuts and rotating flavors are fun to try out. Great place to get a box of treats for gifting too :)
Catherine Quinn
Good donuts, but beware, the mochi donuts are not gluten free because they do not have a dedicated fryer.
Danelle Dailey
So happy this place opened up so close to me! Creative and beautiful pastries! They taste just as good as they look! The raspberry doughnut holes and lychee doughnut are definitely something you wanna try!
Paris
Raised doughnuts has the best tasting cakes, donuts pastries and any type of sweet treat you can think of. They all taste amazing, and I had a birthday cake made from them, and it was exceptional. Best place to visit!!
Barbara Gulten
We were the first in line! as the door opened and little cutest doggy "noodle" greeted us into the chic shop. Very simple design of interior and exterior, yet with a cozy feeling. Coffee is great and they have variety of drinks they make. Doughnut gallery was spectacular, we almost picked one of each flavor to taste. Mochi plain doughnut is very interesting and yummy. What I liked best was that none of them were too sweet, sweet enough but without being overwhelming. The blueberry bacon one was a new flavor they are trying out; as a non-bacon eating person I still enjoyed it. They crafted it in such a way that the bacon is crisp, smokey and sparse. The raspberry doughnut holes were incredible; beautiful to look at and a festival in your mouth! ... when we got to sit at our table, the line was already out the door and spilling into the street. So plan accordingly. Enjoy and Doughnut worry be happy!
Kathleen Champion
Both their donuts and their cakes are absolutely amazing! The donuts here really feel fun and special, especially for someone who typically prefers raised donuts over cake donuts.
We recently ordered our wedding cake from Raised Cakes and were absolutely blown away by how beautiful and delicious it was! We sent Mi a few photos of what we envisioned for the design, and they totally delivered. Most importantly, we had so many guests raving about how good the cake was and I can’t wait to order cakes again for more special occasions. Highly recommend the funfetti strawberry!
M. P
Great doughnuts but so expensive. Got the fritter, raspberry holes, and mochi doughnut. Blueberry mochi had great flavor but also the size of a baby's fist. A bit small. Raspberry holes were good and tart.
Mikey H
Holy cow five stars! My favorite doughnut place in Seattle, over Dachi, Fuji bakery, or Top Pot. Rivals with some spots in Portland.
You must try the raspberry holes(a staple). Our favorite of the current monthly flavors was Nectarine.
They have just a few parking spots in front that are often filled up, but plenty of parking to be found in the surrounding blocks. They are still open during quarantine.
They do monthly and daily flavors, so be sure to check their website on what they’re offering that day. They sell out usually before closing time, so go earlier.
Stacia Cumberland
Best Seattle doughnuts, hands down. Love the rotating specials and the all-the-time flavors. They’re light so you don’t feel gross after eating them. Stop reading and go get in line!
SVR R.
The texture is soft and fluffy with crispy edges, which is fortunate and unfortunate because you want to eat more! The flavors are quite tasty. It is among the top donuts I've had in the city, but take that with a grain of salt since I don't seek out opportunities to eat donuts.
I would come back again!
L T
Delicious raised doughnuts! You can they're freshly made by its texture and taste.
Jean Pocket
Best yeast donuts in Seattle. Maple Bar and Plain Glazed are always delicious here. The everything (savory) donut is interesting...
In general, the rotating, creative flavors are hit and miss.
$$$$ for donuts, but would still recommend hitting them up at least once -- chances are, you'll be back ;)
Gabe Bursk
Even though I came a bit later in the day and they were sold out of some donuts, the flavors I did try were fantastic! I opted for some flavors like the Oreo Donut Holes I might not have usually chosen but was pleasantly surprised.
I also picked up a PupNut for my dog’s first birthday and I’d say she gave it five stars as well. Will definitely return.
Andrea Szalda
It's National Doughnut Day and every year my niece and her father take a donut tour. Today she brought me a sample from Raised doughnuts! These Donuts were delightful. We enjoyed the raspberry donut holes, tahini and chocolate raised donut and a chocolate bar. What I enjoyed most was the crispy outside and light and airy inside. The glaze was the perfect amount of sweet! The flavors were unique and subtle. I would highly recommend stopping in and enjoying what they have to offer!!
Caitlin Renee Steuer
Amazing doughnuts 😍 Everything bagel, maple bar, raspberry, toasted coconut and raspberry holes. Highly recommend! …
Aaron Kunkler
Raised Doughnuts did a fantastic job with our wedding cakes! Straightforward process and delicious cakes. We'll be back for their doughnuts too.
Sean Mansfield
The mochi donuts are easily the best donuts I've ever had. All other donuts are just plain by comparison. They were consumed far to quickly and simultaneously not quick enough.
Olivia H
Delicious donuts! I love trying the rotating flavors.
Jared Hammer
Easily the best donuts that have ever graced my pallette. People leaving 1 and 2 star reviews have bad taste, and should not be trusted with any culinary input. These donuts are NORMAL SIZE, and the unique flavors elevate them above a standard breakfast treat. With every bite you can taste the love and thought that goes into these unbeatable donuts.
Dan Cumberland
You just can’t go wrong with Raised. Everything is phenomenal. They should have 5 stars across the board. They’re the best donuts in seattle, with an ever changing menu of delightful surprises.
Elaine Brown
Nice clean bright shop with a welcoming friendly Baker. Doughnuts were full of flavour, especially the raspberry holes made with ground freeze dried raspberries. I also loved the lemon verbena which had a great lemon flavour. We found that the doughnuts were more greasy than what we are used to and on the small side, especially the apple fritter. The coffee was fine but we had hoped for something with a bit more flavour.
Mei Mangalindan
The variety of the monthly flavors do keep me coming back...and they never disappoint! Order ahead if you can. Friendly staff too!
emily paulose
We visited last weekend and I have seen these donuts all over the internet and people just love them and I desperately wanted to rave from the highest hills as well. Its a super cute shop and I love the logo/packaging and the customer service was fantastic. I have no problem paying for quality if it's warranted but I just didn't feel like the donuts were the quality that people have been raving they are. I really hope I just came in on an off day. We bought one of each variety of the week and they all unfortunately had the fryer oil taste. While the apple fritter was solid, we found the chevre donut to be really unbalanced in favor of pungency not sweet and savory. The orange and toasted coconut were nice but muted in flavor and the cake donut part of it was just ok. The unfortunate disappointment was the mochi donut which was just so greasy and tasted of such. It was however topped with a really lovely bright punchy mango icing which I would have happily ate by the bowl if given the opportunity. My intent isn't to put the shop down with a bad review but just point out the issues with quality because these donuts have a ton of potential and if customers don't give honest feedback there's no way for the shop to know to improve. I hope whoever is reading this takes it as constructive feedback.
Curtis Himel
The crisp and consistently of these donuts is excellent- which is good, because that's about all you taste.
These are good donuts. They aren't greasy, they have a satisfying crisp, and pleasantly soft / chewy insides. Where they fail is on the promise of exotic flavors. On my second visit, I ordered a peach fritter and a blackberry lemon verdana donut- and, disappointingly, they both tasted basically the same. The flavors *were* there, but way too subtle for what they were selling. This matched my initial experience, but the base donuts were good enough to make me want to give them another chance. If they fixed the flavor issue, these would easily be 5-star donuts.
I also tries a slice of strawberry matcha cake. And that actually had the promised (delicious) flavors, although the cake itself was slightly dry.
-
Update: Returned a couple years later. Cake was still a bit dry. The (limited edition) yogurt mochi donut was pretty good- it was fried slightly more than most mochi donuts which made some good crisp to offset the chewiness. My favorite was the (also limited edition) french toast donut.
Aside from the raspberry donut holes which were very raspberry-forward, the flavors continued to be a bit over-subtle.
Michelle Dodson
This place is truly great. The flavors are creative, but always reliably high-quality. They provide products for people with all taste preferences and palates. And the business' community outreach is so well-done, their social medias are very convenient to send compliments and ask questions. Small-batch donuts made by the people, for the people!
Melanie Vartanian
The shop is well organized, with an easy counter to see the donuts and a seating area to enjoy them. I was excited to try the mochi donuts, but they were quite a but smaller than the "normal" donuts and were very oily. However, the other donuts were fluffy and delicious! I enjoyed the November specials, pumpkin fritter and snickerdoodle.
Gary Munson
I'm a straight-ahead raised glazed donut guy. Designer donuts, exotic flavors and toppings don't really excite me, although I'll give them a try. Been to lots of bakeries, coast to coast, including many of the best known.
My son and his partner took me to Raised a few days ago while my wife and I were visiting them in Seattle, and we tried quite a variety. They were excellent, end of story. What makes it all go is the dough. Terrific balance between airy and substantial, chewiness and moistness, with a marvelous slight crispness to the exterior. That's a fantastic base for whatever else is happening on top or inside, which is also executed very well and flavorfully. Donuts to be savored bite by bite. I also thought the prices were reasonable for the Seattle area for what you're getting. My thanks to and admiration for the owner/baker!
Emilie Funston
I was so excited to try Raised and we used to live down the road and I never knew they had mochi Donuts. It’s such a cute shop and the staff is very sweet. That being said, I was so disappointed when I picked up the donuts. True mochi donuts are thick, fluffy, gooey, and sweet and these were so small and like straight grease. They weren’t fluffy at all; more like a pocket of air. The flavor was good.
vesal mahanian
Such great tasting donuts and so beautiful (donuts and the space). They are the perfect consistency and the dough isn't too sweet- it's has a slight hint of salt which adds a real depth of flavor. Also, their flavors are fresh and on point (I got plain, blackberry Lemon Verbena, lychee, and maple).
Olivia Werner
DELICIOUS! This place has really amazing doughnuts - great texture, unique flavors but also a well executed classic. We got the oreo donut holes which were incredible. Our dog demands a pup-nut or two everytime we go. I promise you will not be disappointed.
John Wyss
It's a joy to run into people who love what they do, and they are really good at it. You can order ahead on their web site, or just walk up and see the flavors of the day. The raspberry donut holes are a house speciality. The apple fritters are best I've ever had. Well done.
y law
I love their monthly flavors and always get a mochi doughnut.
shainalovesfood
Drove from Lacey to experience these donuts and they were everything I wanted and more! They are so flavorful and have a delicious texture. If you are gluten-free, you won't find better tasting treats than Mi's mochi donuts!
P H
Delicious donuts, but small and overpriced. The employees are kind of jerks, and they expect you to tip even if you just buy ONE donut. It makes things very awkward and is the reason I have not returned since last summer!
Philip Eidsness
Great little doughnut shop. The pastry for the doughnuts is perfect - slightly yeasty, not too sweet, amazing airy texture with a crispy perfectly golden fried outside. The frosting and glazes are on point - incredibly flavorful without being overly sugary. And the coffee is solid too. Everything is reasonably priced, the service is quick and friendly and the shop is clean and stylish.

When I was charged 44$ for 14 donuts, I must say I was a little surprised. However, they did explain their process and it is very much from scratch each morning. The taste sold me. Definitely worth it! And the fact that they have an adorable dog is just icing on the...well...donut in this case.
Patricia Botkin
Cute place, tight parking, worth it though. The doughnuts are exquisite.
Stephanie Nam
Amazing donuts! I prefer them to mighty-o and top pot even though I love cake donuts. I've never had donuts like these, and I eat a lot of donuts. They have great flavors and a mix of yeast, fritters, and mochi donuts. The peach fritters were amazing and the mochi ones as well. The donuts are smaller than normal, but it's a good excuse to try multiple ones. They don't have tea unfortunately. Just drip coffee and some bottled drinks that are expensive and also have coffee in them. There is also a shop dog, Noodle, who is adorable and friendly.
Chrissie Vogel
After enjoying some burgers and fries, my husband and I decided to stop by Raised Doughnuts for dessert. We dropped by early this afternoon and there were still a dozen doughnuts behind the glass case, luckily for us. The chocolate bar and glazed donut were just what I had hoped for. The kind of decadent and sweet treat that delivers on taste and quality in small bites. The baker was really engaging, as we talked about local eateries and must try places around the neighborhood, as well as future menu flavors. We are excited to try the everything doughnut (doesn't that sound good?!) coming out next month. The care and thought put into the flavors and combinations shows. They are lightly fried, generously coated and pack a punch of flavor. There is so much variety and something for those that like both the sweet and savory-the kind of imaginative flavors that only someone with a passion for pastries can bring to this kind of work. The coffee that accompanied our donuts was just right. Perfect temperature and taste, even for the most discerning coffee drinker. We are excited for the everything donut with its cream cheese frosting. We will be there bright and early next weekend. It's in Central District, not too far from Tacos Chukis, Uncle Ike's and Feed Co Burgers. And there is a parking spot outside, so you can pull in and pull away in minutes. Don't miss out on great service and, without exaggeration, some of the most delicious handcrafted donuts in the city of Seattle.
Madison Pappas
If you are looking for a gluten free doughnut that actually tastes and has a similar texture to a regular doughnut, highly recommend the mochi donut. Amazing texture and super tasty, and similar to the classic sugar covered doughnuts. Best gluten free doughnut I have ever tasted (and not cakey)! My dog also loved the dog doughnuts.
Aileen O'connell
Such good doughnuts, and creative flavors! I can't describe the dough, other than exactly like my grandma's (aka delicious). Holiday flavors like gingerbread with candied ginger tucked in the dough were just as good as the classic chocolate bar I got. Yum, yum, yum!!
Carlette Odemwingie
The donuts are AMAZING! Every month they have new flavors so there is always something interesting to try. The owner and staff are also some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet.
Pete McBride
Good and original flavors, but they’re missing the basics. Dough is not as airy as I’d expect from a shop called “Raised.” Mochi donuts are dense and way too greasy. The glazed ring is okay but they’re charging top dollar (2 for $5.50), little much in my opinion.
Annie Carreiro
Great Eats, Great People. A super fun local women run business, worth the drive from other areas of Seattle for a morning donught and coffee. Make it a weekend brunch not lunch because this spot is popular and stays open only until sold out!
Susanna Garrett
This is the sweetest, most delightful donut place! The staff are very friendly, the donuts are *incredible*, and the atmosphere feels good. Highly recommend them!
Sarah Yukes
Raised doughnuts is delicious! There are rotating flavors each day and month and every one I've had so far has been tasty. These doughnuts sell out every day so don't wait to get here. The inside is a nice space for getting some work done too. As a dog lady I love that they sell dog donuts too!
虚パンクvoidpunk
very pillowy and soft donuts & great covid policy, the run out of donuts fairly quickly though and by the afternoon there's not many options to choose from. usually they have some cake left by then, which are just as fluffy as their donuts :3
Michael Hampton
Let's address the elephant in the donut shop... The donuts are smaller than you're expecting, and they aren't perfectly shaped like you get from a mechanized producer.
They are, however, delicious and worth a trip. The flavors are inventive and executed beautifully. I'm not usually a fan of gluten free, but the Mochi was so good I wish I had gotten 11 more.
Parking isn't realistically available, but there's a strip mall across the street, just be careful crossing 23rd.

My friend and I had a strawberry balsamic donut and as lemon thyme donut. They were okay. Nice donut but stingy on the toppings under the quise "a hint of...". Certainly nothing decadent or generous by any means. The fact that they are made daily is nothing special for a small operation. Few flavors to select from and a bit over priced but the staff was very friendly and the environment is clean and airy.

I happened to discover this place looking for donuts to pair with a Saturday morning neighborhood walk. Amazing. In fact, for my birthday, my husband got me donuts from here instead of cake. Love the rotating flavors too. I was so obsessed with these, I even signed up for her donut making class.
Paul Sparacia
Raised Doughnuts...one of the more underrated doughnut spots in my opinion. Come for the mochi donuts but stay for the classic glazed or the raspberry holes. The soft chewiness of the mochi donut is super unique and worth the physical smaller size. They always have a solid collection of seasonal flavors which are delish. The coffee is nothing crazy, just straight forward caffeine. Don't fret, go around the corner to Union Coffee to get some of the finest bean water in Seattle. Overall a quick easy spot to grab a quick sugar fix and keep it moving.
kelsey ferguson
Great donuts and unique flavors! Stuff was friendly too. Will be back
Arvind Arikatla
Great donuts but they run out soon!
Debbie Johnson
Absolutely amazing light, fluffy donuts. The mochi donut is a great gluten free option and the regular donuts are divine.
Patrycja Urbanek
The doughnuts are good, both GF and regular, but not exceptional. However they are way too expensive, $3.5 for the size of a small cookie.
Jiaxing Bao
I came at 10 and there is only a dozen left. I bought two small donuts for $6.67. Too expensive for such a small size. The taste is not that impressive. It doesn't taste like any donut that I had before. It is not fluffy and greesy. The staff is nice and the environment is chic.

I used to go to the pop ups around Seattle, but I’m so happy they finally found a home! Finally doughnuts that don’t make me feel overwhelmingly full and it’s the perfect balance of sweetness. They open 7am during the weekdays and 9am on the weekend (this was after getting feedback on people wanting to “sleep in” on the weekends, yet still be able to try her doughnuts ☺️). If not sold out (just call and ask), they close at 2pm.
The owner does EVERYTHING by hand - glaze, baking, and all. These doughnuts might not be for everyone, but you really can’t beat these flavors.
Mary Carney
This is a trendy doughnut shop in central district. I had a drip coffee (good), and two sugared doughnuts, along with a fancy snickerdoodle one. My plan was to have one with my coffee and save the rest for later in the day, but I ate all three doughnuts shamelessly on the walk home. The doughnuts are small, but the flavor is big! You can tell that they're made fresh. The shop is very clean, very modern. There was parking for two cars right in front of the shop, but might be tricky if those spots are full.
Sofia Fierro
SIMPLY the best donuts you will have. Fluffy yet dense, perfectly sweet, and every month you have your choice at new monthly flavors. If only I could eat them every day.
Liam N
Pricey! The Vietnamese coffee donut was soft and fluffy. But for $3.50, I didn’t taste any of the coffee flavor.
Rea R
Sugar mochi was amazing
Jewel Green
Chocolate glazed absolutely delicious as are the raspberry donut holes. I loved the smell and the small old fashioned feel to the shop. Will be back often and soon.
Kanhaiya Maheshwary
A quint little cafe that serves good variety of teas and coffees. What I liked the most about this place was the warmth and coziness that you feel inside. Also, they have a lovely dog that you can spend some fun time with!
Careth Wilkinson-Davis
Doughnut perfection! Yeasty, light and fluffy, fun flavors, truly crafted by professionals 💕 Just drip coffee to go with, but totally fine because the doughnuts blow you away. …
Annie McGhee
The flavors! Mi Kim nailed it with the mochi doughnut and the tart raspberry holes plus an assortment of other awesome combinations.
Broadcast Coffee pairs well and the space is inviting in a great neighborhood. Very excited to see how Raised will continue to innovate and engage in the city's doughnut landscape.
Chidozie “Dagclo” Nwobilor
The cuellers are to die for and I really liked the Mango guava mochi donut. The location is easy enough to get to though there isn't very much parking. Social distancing was easy.
Jen Lockett
Really light and airy dough, not greasy and just a hint of sweetness. Not the gut bombs other places have around here. They only do drip coffee, but it's really good.
Matt Martinez
Delicious doughnuts with cool and creative flavor combinations. The black sesame filled doughnut is worth a stop all by itself!
Cassie W
Delicious. Fridays they have amazingly light, eggy French crullers.
Calvin Chen
Great flavors on the doughnuts. The lemon thyme and strawberry basalmic were killer. Also comes with the added bonus of Noodle, the store dog who looks like a tiny sheep.
Sofia
Bought 2 different mochi donuts (different flavors, different days), and both times i bit into a puddle of oil
Miles Huntly
Not your average donuts. The Mochi and Everything Bagel donuts are my personal favorite. They also make excellent cakes.
Adam seaton
The mochi sugar one is basically just a hard gross cracker. Everything else is pretty good.
SoCal Punx
If you are a fan of great donuts, you definitely need to check this place out. Nice lil spot in the Central District for a spot of tea and a awesome sweet treat. Get in before they sell out, cause they do.
Robyn Reed McLaughlin
Unique and absolutely delicious. Even though some of the flavors can sound a little odd, they are always AMAZING! Even my picky parents and in-laws always love them!
Devon Clappe
Can donuts get much better?? Not in Seattle! You can tell there is so much thought and love put into every donut made and cup of coffee poured. Highly recommend!!
Norbert Wangsa-Wirawan
Delicious donuts, definitely worth the calorie, though it's pretty pricey. Really love everything donut, a savory one.
Athena Anthea
Pretty good donuts. Nice staff.
Jes Lee
The best donuts in town! They have half regular flavors and half rotating flavors that change every month. They even have mochi donuts!
roula roe
Be prepared to wait in a very long line as soon as this place opens. Donuts were ok. ....nothing special. Will try again once more incase I missed something....always do to be fair....visited by many locals.
TS Crampton
I had an amazing experience here. Not only was the chocolate bar doughnut was simply amazing, but the staff was super inviting and friendly as well. It was a brief but amazing experience that I would recommend any time!
Frank Yon
Tasty Doughnuts! Mostly take out customers but there are a few spots to sit. My raspberry cheesecake doughnut was fantastic, I'll be back.
Joseph T
It's a good donut shop. I think everything here is pretty well made, it's just a bit pricey for my tastes.
Ida Fischer
Excellent customer service! Seasonal pumpkin donut was great. Mochi donut was not to my taste but i appreciate that they have gf options!
L T
Fresh donuts with creative flavors that change monthly! Opens at 07:00 until they sell out.
Su Yeon Kim
Raised doughnut is the best doughnut I've eaten in US! It is soft and not too much sweet. I want to eat raised doughnut soon again!
Dk Milam
Be sure you show up early! Popular spot, and for good reason. The dalgona coffee doughnut is easily my favorite.
nic russell
These doughnuts are legit. So tasty and fresh. And the owner was a delight to speak with. Will definitely return.
Brian Boroff
They did minis for our four year old’s birthday party and the doughnuts were a huge hit! Great to work with and delicious treats.
Artistry Beauty Parlor
The donuts are light and fluffy! It has the perfect amount of sweetness and the Vietnamese Coffee donut is my fave!!!!!
Tom Knowles
Awesome doughnuts! (Just for info, we went at like 11:00AM and they were closed. So they definitely sell out pretty fast.)
Ken Germann
It was okay, Raspberry Bismarck was Krispy Kreme quality, Apple Fritter was chewy and bland, the best Apple Fritters are crispy on the outside imo. Sold out of most flavors.
Amelia
The best donuts I've had in Seattle, and I've had a lot. Really great and unique flavors!
Lance Foss
First time buyer and it was worth the trip ☺️! The owner of the store was so friendly and helped us find a place to park while waiting for my wife at a doctor's appointment.

Best maple bar in the city! It's made with real maple syrup and such a pillowy soft dougnut.
Jacob Wood
All I want in a doughnut shop is glazed and chocolate raised doughnuts done right. This is the place.
Anthony Leonarduzzi
Small shop. Limited variety. Limited variety of coffee. Maple bars are small but tasty.
Tabernay Simon

What are these, doughnuts for ants?! They should be at least… two times bigger than this!
Estefany
Donuts are so good from there but just a lil expensive for a small delicious donut 🍩 😋 …

Best donuts in Seattle if you don't like donuts that are more frosting than donut. Can't wait to order a raised cake for someone's birthday.
EUNJEONG LEE
(Translation) This donut shop sells coffee and donuts in the morning and afternoon. There are many apartments nearby, so it seems to be a place frequented by residents for breakfast. It's not very crowded, but it seemed like a place where 1-2 people kept coming every 10 minutes. This house is dog-friendly. The owner of the house also has a cute Maltese, so you can hear the cute puppy when you enter ^^
More than half of the store has an open kitchen and counters, and the other half is a space where you can sit and eat, so I think there were about three or four tables. People usually do take out, but if you can afford it, it's good to sit down and eat.
They sell donuts made by the owner himself, and even if you eat the basic glazed donuts, the bread itself has a fluffy texture and is so delicious. The chocolate bar, apple fritter, and maple bar I bought together are all basic donut products, so they all know the taste, but I really liked the soft texture of this house. Mochi donuts are the recommended menu in this house. If I can visit next time, I would like to try them.
