For being free of major allergens their treats are delicious! All the goods I got were really sweet so if you have a big sweet tooth this place is for you! Their bars are my favorite! Staff are nice and give good recommendations!

Small little place very nice ladies. All is gluten free, nut free , dairy free and rice free. Nice snacks not very sweet but satisfying. Great if you have allergies and want to find a sweet treat.

Second visit here! I love the ginger softie whoopie pie and was able to score a fresh out of the oven unfrosted blackberry hand pie. Their golden milk drink is also yummy, as is their rooibos tea with coconut milk. Loved supporting this allergy friendly, Asian woman owned small business. Quiant and cozy seating, friendly and helpful staff. Thank you!

This place is AMAZING to say the least. I had the pleasure of trying a variety of baked goods from Askatu and I was very impressed. I cannot believe that they are allergy friendly and on the healthier side. So far, my favorite is the chocolate chip cookie whoopie pie. I plan on going back as soon as I get the chance. If you're looking for some delicious baked goods, especially allergen free, look no further!

We needed a birthday cake for my wife who was recently diagnosed with gluten and multiple other allergies. Askatu was the only bakery that could switch out ingredients to avoid all dairy, eggs, and potato! They were extremely responsive to my questions over email and even helped my low-tech mother-in-law find them over the phone for pickup. The cake was amazing and beautiful. They are the best!

Absolutely love Askatu! Amazing selection of gluten free/ Vegan baked goods that are more digestive friendly than most other gluten free baked goods. Great Sourdough and other breads. Askatu is one of the best Gluten Free bakeries in the United States.

We ordered a 6" vanilla cake with vanilla crumb frosting and a chocolate ganache for our elopement and not only did it taste delicious but it was so pretty! We needed a cake that was gluten and dairy free and were so happy to find this bakery.

Congrats for using the best of the best Ingredients and focusing on health. Except for the red velvet cupcake everything else I tried was at least twice as sweet as they should be. Please consider adding a lot less sugar to the bakes. Red velvet was top notch. I would definitely come back since the staff were wonderful and the flavors were awesome… I will definitely try one more time to see if the sweetness has been reduced. Else, with a heavy heart I have continue my search for a great bakery that puts health first.

I recently started a nutrition journey March of 2020 where I went vegan as well as cut out all refined sugars as I found I was incredibly intolerant. That ranged from white sugar to coconut brown sugar... none of it sat well with me! What didn't help was the MASSIVE sweet tooth I have, it would be hard because id have to pick between having a complete face & body breakout or enjoying a yummy dessert. Fruits are the only thing that my body doesn't mind , which includes dates!! It's been incredibly difficult to find not only vegan bakeries , but also vegan bakeries that have options of things not sweetened with refined sugars. My life truly changed with I ordered the chocolate date cake from this bakery! When I say it was & is the BEST cake I have ever had, frankly i'm not even sure that statement fully does it justice, it is rich, moist, flavorful and just melts in your mouth. Had I not known I would truly think it was a regular non-vegan refined sugar cake! I truly want to say thank you to Estella and the rest of the family at Akatsu for providing healthy alternatives to delicious desserts. I am so incredibly grateful for this establishment and all of their talent!! Ps. I meant to add a photo, but frankly i finished the cake before i could even think about taking one!! Whether you have any restrictions for deserts or not, give this place a call as they are delicious and very accommodating !

My son has many food allergies including most of the top 9. This is the only bakery he has ever been able to eat at. They are top 9 free and also free of sesame and flax seed. Highly recommend!

Delicious, allergen-free baked goods at an affordable price. The staff was very friendly too! I loved the lotus seed mooncake, pumpkin bread, and The Basic breakfast sandwich. The food is mostly vegan as well. Highly recommend!

I stopped by on a whim yesterday after spotting it off the street, and what a find! This place is fantastic. The two baked goods I tried were great, couldn't tell they were vegan/allergen free. I've suspected I have a mild food intolerance for a while but never managed to pin down exactly what it was, and it's nice to be able to just order off the menu without having to worry. If you have any friends with food allergies, you should definitely tip them off about this place. Also, in addition to having great baked goods, the staff is really friendly and helpful, and based off of the setup at the counter, it looks like they're taking Covid precautions very seriously. Between that, the vegan/allergen free aspect of their business, and the impression I got from talking to them, it seems like they take the wellbeing of their customers seriously. This is 100% a place worth stopping by.

I had some studying to do and came here for the first time today. I really enjoyed the bacon breakfast sandwich, oat milk latte, and the atmosphere! I'll definitely be bringing my mother here because she has a gluten allergy and it can be tough to find tasty GF food. I'm excited to introduce this place to her & I will definitely be going back. I want to try their raspberry donut or one of their other sweets!

Amazing owner, people, and just the overall place. We shot some videos with them today and just hearing all the stories, etc hit close to home. They are super helpful especially with anyone with allergies and even with vegan recipes! Me and the team will definely come back someday.

All the foods sold avoid the top eight allergens, so no gluten, no dairy (except you can get some with your coffee), no peanuts, etc. Delicious cookies, donuts, cakes, egg based sandwiches (one has bacon, too, if youre into that). Also good coffee and tea options. I enjoyed the ginger cookie. It was soft as advertised and tasted good with a nice ginger taste. The donut was sweet and tasty and a bit decadent. I think I preferred the ginger cookie to the snickerdoodle. The biscotti chai chufa strikes a good balance between taste and decadence and I liked. I liked the chufa more than the thumbprint cookies. The egg sandwich is portable if you need something quick on the way to work. I didnt try the egg with bacon sandwich but imagine its good. The curried cauliflower with peas and the sweet potato with kale flatbreads were decent. I like the chutney they come with. I like them better than the egg sandwich personally (your mileage may vary), and liked the one with peas slightly better just cause I like peas. Cake pops are a little pricey at $3.50 each. Basically a dollar a bite.

We came in at 10am on Saturday and by 10:10 a line was starting to form. The staff were so friendly and explained every baked item to us and made us feel so safe and welcome. They are all very knowledgeable on the ingredients that goes into each item and the baker in the back comes out to answer any questions if needed. Being completely allergen free, it ticked off all the boxes for us (no wheat, dairy, eggs, soy, nuts, corn, sesame). I love the chocolate coated Chechi (idk how it’s spelt) cookie. It’s like a peanut butter cookie dipped in chocolate. They also do a chocolate chip cookie that mimics Levain’s Chocolate Chip Cookies in NYC. It really tasted like an actual chocolate chip cookie - idk how they do it. Banana bread was moist and airy, all the cookies were wonderful. All the cookies in general were very good. It also looks like they cater events.

The price is a little on the high side, but considering the location, it's a reasonable price. (Original) 小さいカフェですが、落ち着いた雰囲気でゆっくりお茶を楽しめました。ティークッキーは2つからのオーダーです。値段は若干強気の設定ですが、場所柄も考えると納得の値段です。
