Been coming for years! Has been and will always be my favorite cookie place! I come here often to buy cookies for my students, and come here even more often to buy the cookies for myself, friends, neighbors, and anyone I want to show appreciation to! A couple things to keep in mind: - CHIP is a more ‘doughy’ cookie. So if you prefer a very crunchy cookie or aren’t known to indulge in raw cookie dough, this might not be your spot. - The app as of today (1/19/22) is not great, and has many issues. But hopefully it improves! - Their shipping has always been perfect, as I’ve also sent boxes across the country and never has issues with the quality when recipients receive them.

The cinnamon roll chip was meh. I expected it to be warm and it was not. But the worst part was the packaging. This is how the employee handed it to me, with her gloves completely covered in frosting. The bag was all sticky on the outside too before I wiped it off. The cookie probably would have been better if served in a box and 80% of the frosting wasn’t smeared off. I feel like my 3 stars is generous.

Chip cookies have always been a solid spot to find super sweet cookies coupled with super sweet customer service. I’ve always gone into the store, but tonight I ordered delivery and and made some mistakes along the way. I sent Chip an email and received an immediate response with a resolution. Just had some of the best cookies I’ve ever tasted. The employee was very kind and helped me select an assortment of cookies. The OG is definitely one of my favorites but you can’t knock the Biscoff either! Definitely plan to return. Also, their boxes are on point. I would feel comfortable gifting these to business professionals without any additional preparation.

Super friendly and welcoming staff! Went there for the first time this weekend and love it! They only sell their cookies in boxes of four or in bags of frozen dough so you can make some at home. Their cookies are HUGE!!! I barely finished one! They always have chocolate chip, which is amazing! And the rotate another flavor. The cookies were perfectly baked, we’re talking when you pull them apart they are warm and the chocolate chips are melted inside! I got one box and have been eating one a day since I got them, just microwave for a few seconds and they go great with coffee!

This place is incredibly overrated. Amazing branding and identity. Great location. Clean. Nice staff. I get the value add here is that they make a decent cookies that is fresh and they are open late and they deliver. I was not impressed with the cookies though. The cookies are huge but a large portion of the middle is almost like raw dough. If you are huge cookie dough fan, than this is probably the place for you. Otherwise, there is so many other good places around that I would go over this place.

We ordered Chip for our monthly birthday treat at work. What a hit! They even delivered! Four HUGE boxes of freshly baked cookies. Delicious! But my very first experience of Chip was a few weeks ago when I received a surprise delivery of warm cookies to my home. I had no idea until a text message was sent to me indicating my cookies were on the way. It was better than getting flowers!

These cookies are something else! When I was told about this place I was very skeptical about how good were the cookies going to be and they over delivered. The taste, consistency, the packaging and the feeling when you’ve arrive at their store is definitely great. I have been here 3 times in two weeks and every single time it has been delicious. Look around for the south doors when you get to the parking lot, there's should be a little ramp and a sign to direct you in. Took a minute to find but such a cool experience. They're located behind another business and simple set up with a simple menu selection. The cookies were amazing, especially eating them fresh out of the oven, we finished half before we got home. Definitely have to come back to try the red velvet.

Please bake your cookies better. I really like this place and go there fairly often, the branding and the cookies are very nice and thus the 4 stars ... BUT ... at least half the time the cookies are under baked leaving a raw center of cookie dough (see photo). Some people might like eating raw cookie dough but I'm not one of them. If you have to err on one side or the other I'd rather the cookies be over baked a bit rather than getting raw cookie dough. If your sole product is cookies they should be baked perfectly ... every time. Please sort this out Chip cookies.

Update on review: It has been over a year now and I still come here frequently. These truly are the best chocolate chip cookies on Earth. They are cripsy on the outside, and gooey and dough on the inside. They are almost spherical in shape and not flat like a normal cookie. I have seen a bunch of Crumbl stores pop up recently but guys Chip is 100 times better than Crumbl when it comes to the quality and taste of the cookie. Delicious, warm cookies! They are gigantic and oh so thick. Cost is $10 for a box of 4 cookies. I think the price is very reasonable for how yummy they are. As of right now, you do have to order a whole box of 4 and can't buy single cookies. They are opening up a legit storefront tomorrow, so maybe with time they will change that and add more flavors. I just wish they delivered to West Jordan!

We have been getting cookies here for months. Normally service/cookies are amazing but this is what we were given tonight. We were the only customers and there were numerous workers. I stood at the counter for a few minutes before anyone acknowledged me. Then it took another 10 minutes to prepare this box........ had the cookies been fine I would've ignored the lack of customer service but opening the box did not bring me joy like it normally does. I don't expect perfect every time but this is not what they should be handing paying customers.

Just heard about Chip from a co-worker and decided immediately to surprise my SO with a box after we had dinner. He was so shocked when a guy knocked on the door to deliver a box of cookies he just mumbled a ‘thank you’ to him. When he got the box inside he asked a million questions and then dropped his jaw when he opened the box to see 4 HUGE WARM COOKIES sitting there! I’m not a big cookie fan but these are freaking. amazing! It was the best thing ever and I hope to be able to surprise all my loved ones with CHIP cookies in the near future!

I love Chip! I have been a customer for about 5 years and have usually had really great experiences. However, today I ordered some cookies to be delivered. The delivery was a little over an hour over the max estimated delivery time, which was disappointing but they say that it could be 45- 1 hr over the window, so no biggie. But the cookies on arrival were actually underbaked- and not in the usual delicious way! They tasted weirdly doughy and a lot of the Cadbury eggs were solid, not melty like they usually are. Again, I have had positive experiences in the past so hopefully this is just a fluke.

Delightful find! Love that it was open late to get a treat after an event downtown. Shady part of town at night but worth the stop. The sugar cookie was different than any other place and the frosting was delicious and light compared to the usual heavy buttercream. Will definitely be trying it again.

If you want the best chocolate chip cookies you have ever had, this is the place to go! The cookies are always fresh and warm right when you order them and they are massively huge cookies. The only one downside is it's kind of pricey for a single box which is four cookies but I won't take a star off for that since they are worth it if you use these as a treat or special occasion. They also have a cookie of the month which has never disappointed. As of writing this review the cookie of the month is the Cadbury egg chocolate chip cookie and it is amazing!

Their chocolate chip cookie is made with milk chocolate chips instead of semi sweet. I am not a huge fan, the cookie is way too sweet. Their cookie of the month is fun and the last couple months have been good. The real seller here is delivery with milk and the cookies are warm! I have had a few issues in the past where they were over an hour late delivering but they refunded my money so good customer swrserv there. I am slightly annoyed they will only let you buy cookies in fours. Which I get for delivery but not in store. I needed 5 cookies to take to some friends and had to buy 8. You might ask what's wrong with 3 extra cookies? Well these things are huge! And super sweet, you can barely eat one. And I don't like to eat them later, much better fresh. Wish they would sell me just one.

I am an avid fan of Chips! Only caveat is they started delivering with DoorDash on busy nights and when you pay with Apple Pay you cannot add delivery notes. This has caused many delivery drivers to literally either leave my box of cookies outside my apartment building or to simply never deliver them. Until this is fixed I would not recommend ordering delivery if you live in an apartment building but I would recommend stopping by their beautiful store and get some delicious cookies :) A word of caution though... last time I stopped by to get cookies there was a family of 5 there, all without masks and felt that could have been handled differently, not for me but for the safety of the young cashier who probably has to go home at the end of the night to his elderly relatives. But again, the cookies are extremely delicious!!! 🍪 😋

My boyfriend and I wandered in here one day to see what it was and it was pretty freakin amazing! You walk in and right away smell the delicious freshly baked cookies 🍪 I thought it was a little pricey since a box of 4 cookies are $10. It seems a bit excessive as the cookies are a pretty good size, I could only eat one. Kinda sucked that they only have two choices of cookies, it would be awesome if there was a variety but nope, just chocolate chip (which is yummy regardless) and then the cookie of the month which this time was a chocolate cookie with peppermint, it was pretty good considering I'm not a fan of peppermint. The best thing about it all is that we mentioned it was our first time ever and we GOT A FREE MILK! So if the is your first time, mention it, you get a pretty large size bottle of milk to drink with your cookies.

I have been going to the Salt Lake City location since it was out of the little start up kitchen on 2100 S. I have always been a huge fan of Chip and felt like they were always upping the ante. For the past couple months I have been underwhelmed with the quality of service I have been receiving. Today marks the third time I have gotten dry, old, or overcooked goods. I don’t know why the quality has dropped so drastically. Maybe this is due to the COVID situation or poor quantity estimating but it just seems ridiculous to go to an establishment that promises fresh and warm only to get old and cold. Tonight only one Baker was manning the register, the ovens, and boxing orders. At 8pm which according to google is a peak time. I am surely three people could safely work during the 2-3 hour peak period to lend a hand. I love this company and I want to continue to see it expand. Just not at the cost of quality and customer satisfaction.

Some of the best chocolate chip cookies you will ever get. The cookies definitely deserve a 5-Star rating. However, go pick them up in person. Do not have them delivered. The delivery times are ridiculous. They let you choose a 30min window for delivery, but then send you an email confirmation that lets you know that they may be 45min-1hr later than your scheduled delivery time. And each time We've done delivery, that have been very very late. Much easier to just drive down and pick them up yourself. Enjoy!

These cookies are what cookie lovers dream of. Fat, scrumptious, baked perfectly on the inside with a tad bit of that doughy goodness on the inside. They have been our sweet escape while being in town. Seriously, they are soooooo good that the first two boxes we ordered were gone in 3 days so we had to go back for 2 more boxes. The OG chocolate chip is where it's at! You CANNOT go wrong with this cookie. 4 come in a box or you can get 9 minis. They usually have a flavor or 2 each month rotating in. I always pick up a few to try and if they are good we go back to get more. But the OG chocolate chip always has me coming back for more. To say I am obsessed is an understatement.

Overall good experience with the Chip. But not the best cookies in Salt Lake City. They use milk chocolate chips in their cookies. It causes the cookies to be overly sweet a good balance would be semi sweet. Yes this is my opinion but it should be trusted. The delivery was great, the cookies came nice and warm with milk. If you like milk chocolate in your chocolate chip cookies then chip is for you.

To preface this I love Chip, but I wanted them to be aware of my recent experience with them. I ordered one chip and one cookie of the month, which for November had Toffee in it, so two cookies in total. The guy charged me for two cookies and went and got a box and put 4 cookies. I just thought that he was being nice by giving me extra cookies. I confirmed with my receipt that I was only charged the $6.00 for the two cookies before I threw the receipt away. Now is the part where I'm actually upset with. I get home only to discover that the guy ignored my request for a toffee cookie completely. I know he heard me because he talked about toffee and how excited I was to finally get one before they moved onto next months cookie. I now will never get the opportunity to try the toffee cookie, and it's literally the only reason I went in the first place. This event took place around 1:00 pm on Fri, Nov 29th. I'm disturbed that the employee clearly doesn't care as he charged me for two cookies but gave me 4 and also the wrong cookies.

Heaven in a box delivered right to your door right when you need it (or want) the most! Soooo yummy! From ordering to delivery, about 15 minutes! I think this is such an awesome idea! Warm, delicious yumminess! I’m so happy I heard of and tried Chip Cookies! I ordered half and half, chocolate chip and salted caramel chip. The cookies arrived early and still warm from the oven. Due to helpful texts, I met the happy delivery driver in front of my house. The first thing that hit me was how heavy the box of four cookies was: these are no small cookies! And so damn tasty!! The chocolate chips were pleasantly melted and the cookie crust was the perfect blend of crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. So good! I highly recommend!!

This place literally has THE BEST cookies in Utah! They made our cookies fresh to order and we will be returning customers for as long as they are around. They offer two different types of chocolate: milk chocolate or cadbury. I personally prefer the milk chocolate ones because they are soft and melt in your mouth. You've gotta try them!

I had never had this place until one of my friends purchased a box. From there on out I have been raving and craving chip just about every day! I love their original chip cookie and their chip of the month. Every month I get half and half to have the original and the chip of the month. I work as a nurse at the U hospital and I just have to say as a straight night shifter I love that they deliver late at night! My coworkers and I gather everyone on our unit to purchase 2-3 boxes so we can all partake in this glorious cookie. They’re so filling I end up not eating lunch because of them! If you haven’t tried it....go!

My first experience with Chip was when I ordered cookies and milk to be delivered to my apartment as a surprise while my boyfriend was over. They were so delicious, he loved them! Fast forward 1.5 years and we had 150 Chip cookies delivered to our wedding for all of our guests! Everyone raved about them and still does to this day. I have since surprised my husband with Chip cookies while he is deployed. I love Chip cookies not only because they are the most delicious cookies but also because they carry such special memories!

They lose a star because they're really lacking in service, twice they ran out of cookies and the entire staff of eight kids disappears while the front area is packed full of people - all of us customers were making jokes about the poor managing skills while we waited 20 plus minutes for our cookies. As for the cookies themselves, they're big, soft, and delicious - but we already know that. I wish they had a dark chocolate version, the milk chocolate is overly sweet and I can only handle a couple bites.

*UPDATE: I recently went back to Chip and my experience was much better. I just enjoy what they offer. The menu isn't overwhelming, but enough. They are proof that you don't need a wide variety of cookies to be exceptional. Their quality of cookies are better and taste better than Crumbl. They even offer samples of their Chip cookies at the register. I got a box of their Blue Chip cookies because my cousin has Autism and I can definitely support a company that supports causes like that. Overall, I would recommend this establishment to friends and family. 👍🏽

Went here last night to get some cookies, there was a line but that's too be expected on a Saturday night. I'm giving it 5 stars but the door to come In is also the exit..... that doesn't work well when the line is out the door. Or when its packed. Your having to back track through everyone. The cookies were better then crumble for sure. I will definitely be coming back, love the cookies. Just add another door and things will move a lot more smooth.

Mmmm, really great cookies here. And I look forward to getting them every time I’m in town, which isn’t often. Wish they had more than two kinds of cookies at a time but I think every time I’ve gone, I haven’t been disappointed by their products. My favorite is the Biscottis one. Also wish that they were open on Sunday and a little earlier during the week so I could get cookies before I fly home and could bring fresh ones back home with me. FYI they last a few days if you are the kind that eats half a cookie at a time.

Used their delivery service on Valentine's Day for my husband. I accidently put the delivery time as 10 PM instead of AM. They called me when they saw my husband's work building was closed. I told them my mistake and they willingly offered to deliver the next day free of charge with new cookies. I lucked out and my husband brought one home and I was able to try them. Chip cookies are delicious! Love that they are always warm like they just came out of the oven. My favorite cookie was the biscoff cookie, which in 2018 when they had it - or tasted like heaven!!! The gooey inside tasted like delicious cookie butter and I had never tasted a better cookie in my life. I waited a year for them to have again and finally this month 2/2019 they got it but it doesnt taste the same at all! We ordered 6 boxes and none of the cookies had the gooey inside like the picture shows, although last year they did. Hoping they will go back to the original recipe as this years biscoff was super disappointing. Sorry to say that because their cookies usually rock! You really cant go wrong with the chocolate chip. Also down the street from them is Goodly Cookie who has more variety and is also delicious (esp the peanut butter choc chip or raspberry white choc)!

Whenever I feel down, I without fail will order a box of CHIP cookies. These cookies have changed my outlook on life. Prior to ordering CHIP I had always felt like something was missing, like there was something my mouth hadn’t yet experienced... after 26 years on this earth, I finally found what I was yearning after all these years. Do yourself a favor and start out with their OG cookie. Best chocolate chip, hands down. It is perfectly gooey and oozes chocolates goodness. Once you’ve experienced that, you can start to expand to their monthly specials. They hit it out of the park EVERY TIME. It’s not like these other cookie places that will try to diversify and provide lots of flavors. CHIP focuses and perfects one cookie at a time. Also, I am a huge fan of buying their dough, and then eating one cookie every night. This will help you save money because it’s $9 for 4 cookies. One cookie a night is plenty. Do yourself a favor and order these cookies. The hype is real.

Great cookies but they only offer 2 types of cookies. The only other thing they sell is milk and giant bags of their chocolate chip cookie dough. No she to sit or hang out either. It is great for picking up cookies to use as a fancy present or take somewhere else woth friends but otherwise not my style. The cookies tasted great! It only took 1&1/2 cookies and my sugar cravings were satisfied for the next few days! I highly recommen getting at least one to try.

Question: What's not to love about gigantic gourmet chocolate chip cookies fresh from the oven, and delivered directly to your front door? Answer: Nothing. Every part of this cookie experience was amazing & I'm happy they're around for me to buy cookies from. Being such a young business, I am surprised how successful and popular they have become! I stumbled upon them while visiting SLC on a Friday afternoon and decided get a box of cookies to share with some friends. I didn't eat them until later in the evening and was surprised to find how soft the cookie was even after a few hours. The cashier was so genuine and friendly as well so made the swift experience memorable.

I remember the night as if it was yesterday. It was late on a weekday in Salt Lake City. I may not be pregnant but i do dare say i have worse cravings. They can hit me at any point and with little to no warning. It’s a real struggle and in a place like Salt Lake where everything closes relatively early it is very hard to appease those cravings and Taco Bell only does so much. One night i felt a craving coming on, and it it wasn’t for more cowbell, but but for a sweet cookie. I’m also a soda fan so i went to the nearest soda place and to my dismay they did not have any more sugar cookies. I was devastated. Feeling a sense of despair I called a friend. I will never be able to thank him enough but as we conversed on the phone he asked me if i tried chip. Immediately I got in my car and mind you, this was probably 11:30 pm, but i had a purpose and wasn’t going to stop till i got my cookie so i went to downtown chip. Literally a light in so much darkness. The store was so bright and clean and when you opened the door the homey aroma overwhelms all your senses. Not only that but the people working greeted me and we so friendly! I guess who could say it was love at first sight. I tried the blue Cookie Monster cookie (supports autism awareness) and the Cadbury egg cookie. So if you thought eating fresh is amazing you are right. The perfect combination of toastiness on the outside but gooey and soft in the middle. Not only that, they even save well if you put them in the freezer and eat them the next day! They don’t get hard! Chip has changed my life but also i love that they are involved in supporting community events and promoting autism awareness. 5 of the best well deserved stars. Keep doing what you are doing! Thanks chip!

The product is delicious, and the customer service is superb! I am an occasional consumer of Chip. The staff is generally welcoming and great! However, everyone has their "off" moment(s). When I addressed a one-time service issue directly with Amanda (GM of the SLC store), she handled it immediately/effectively with the staff. I was very impressed with the level of professionalism between her and the staff with the reported issue. I believe other companies in the consumer-service industry should use Amanda as a consultant, because that is how it should be done! Sure, their cookies are absolutely delicious, but Amanda's and the staff's display of courtesy made me a loyal customer!

My husband and I made a special trip down to Chip form Ogden for their "cookie of the month" my husband specifically asked for a box of this cookie. He took the box, we drove all the way home only to realize we were given the regular chocolate chip. Very disappointing to say the least.

I love the crunchy outside and gooey inside. They also use Guittard chips, which are my favorite. Cute, clean space. Friendly workers. You can ask for a sample if you've never tried them. Great customer service. We just moved from Utah to Oregon and I hope they expand here ;) Thankfully they do ship cookies to other states, so we've ordered those before. I hope they bring back their Biscoff chip one day, their best seasonal cookie by far! I usually hate cookies made with milk chocolate, but I ADORE these. They're like a whole meal!

The new biscoff cookie is maybe the best cookie ever. Seriously, they need to make it a permanent item. Their regular chip is good, but other cookie places do a straight chocolate chip better. I would go here a lot more if I could get a single cookie. Made sense to have a four box when they were running out of essentially a warehouse, but now that they have a brick and mortar not sure why they can’t offer singles. Sometimes I don’t want an entire box of cookies sitting around. It’s dangerous.

Chip gives me such great joy! I have gone to Chip multiple times, and every time was a good experience. If you do a Chip Flip, you might get mentioned on their Instagram story. Chip keeps the decorations to a minimum, there aren't even any chairs to sit on. So it is a little uninviting when you walk in, they just want you to buy the cookies and leave. If it's your first time going, they will give you a free bottle of milk, so be sure to ask them for it. They always bring out the cookies warm and slightly undercooked, which makes them super Bueno. The cookies are giant, $10 might seem pricy but when you see how big they are, you'll come back for more. I have yet to find a better cookie around here. Every month they have a different flavor, so be sure to go every month to try all their flavors. Some good ones that I have tried are the Oreo and the Biscoff. My only complaint is they only have 2 flavors at a time, I would go more often if they had more flavors. I wish they would have more of a variety, otherwise I would give 6 stars.

Went here for the first time this weekend. You could smell the delicious cookies when we got out of the car. The cookies are huge! However, there are only usually maybe 2 kinds- chocolate chip, and something relating to the season or nearby holiday. Also, you can't just buy 1 cookie, you have to buy a box of 4 cookies which is $10. I thought that was a little dumb. I wish there were more options of cookies and for buying. That being said, the cookies were very delicious!! And i didn't have to bake so that was a huge plus. Lol.

These cookies are ridiculously big and delicious! I got the originals (not semi-sweet) for dessert for me and my son, because I was too lazy to make it myself. I thought that $10 for 4 cookies was a little steep... There will be this endless debate between "Crumble" and this store "Chip". It all depends on what you prefer. If you like dry crunchy cookies, then Crumble is the place for you. Crumble has a more of a variety to choose from. They are delicious cookies as well However, this place "Chip" serves soft, delicious, chewy cookies if you prefer that. They have 2 flavors only, chocolate chip, and whatever the monthly special is. This month its cookies and cream. Although there is not much of a variety, they really nail the cookies in all aspects which is why they are sooo good. I like soft chewy cookies so this would be my preference. Here is an idea that will blow away your friends and simultaneously [blow] off your socks. If you are reading this review you are probably in Utah. If you are in Utah you have probably been invited to Lake Powell for a houseboat trip. When invited to Lake Powell for a houseboat trip you have probably been asked to prepare a meal for the rest of the guests on the houseboat. If you are unlucky that meal was probably dinner. If you are lucky, others were probably asked to help you prepare that dinner. If you were invited to prepare dinner and if you are smart, you probably volunteered to "take on" dessert by yourself for your contribution. However, if you were really smart, you drive to Chip the night before the trip and bought their frozen cookie dough. Then you transported the frozen cookie dough in a cooler to Page, AZ where you bought (Bluebell) ice cream from Walmart. Then, on your night to prepare dinner you simply turned on the oven, followed the directions on the bag, and made everyone the biggest, most delicious chocolate chip cookies of their lives, served warm and covered in ice cream. The result? You ALWAYS get invited back to Lake Powell. The bonus? Your only meal contribution for the rest of your life are AMAZING COOKIES. Of course, this all only happens, if you are smart. We always head here, at least once a month. I went in at an unusual busy time, the staff was friendly like always- to friendly this time. A gal had not spoken up about the staff missing or skipping her order so another gal spoke for her and threw way to much attitude. The staff ended up giving both gals (separate parties) a free milk. I went to this location one night to get 10 boxes of cookies (that I didn't pre-order) for 2 funerals that I had the next day. I knew with a large order, I'd have to wait a bit, but they were faster than I anticipated. And not only did they bag them up and help me to my car with them, I also found a sweet post-it not in one of the bags saying they were sorry for my losses and their thoughts and prayers were with my family. Chip is hands-down the best chocolate chip cookie in existence. They're my go-to treat - not to mention they're open late, so it's perfect after a movie, wise guys show, or a Jazz game. This year I set out to find the best cookie in Utah. Through rigorous multi-day experimental trials I’ve found that Chip is in fact the best cookie the state of Utah, maybe even tri-state area, has to offer. As to not offend other Utah cookie bakers, I will not name the other variables in this trial, however chip passed the dough, break, taste, gooeyness, chip to dough ratio and consistency test with the highest scores of any other cookie I’ve ever had. Holy cow. That was the coolest experience. I could track the driver and only took 25 minutes! What?? Sadie was an awesome deliverer. I didn’t realize I needed to tip while ordering if I wanted it on my card, so tip while ordering. I didn’t see a spot for that but will look closer next time.
