It has been a long time since I have been to Winchell's since moving far away, but it was still great. They still have an excellent selection of donuts and they are still delicious. The shop has been under new ownership for the past two years and the owners were their working and the service was excellent. I highly recommend this Winchell's!!!

We stopped in on Christmas morning, they're open everyday, incredible looking donuts and the staff all looked like a sweet family, ordered a dozen donuts they give you 14 in a dozen! They're huge, crunchy and soft, every donut was great!! Also ordered bagel melts with bacon and avocado, my kids loved them! Get a dozen donuts you won't regret it!!

This is my all time favorite doughnut place, and I've grown up on their old fashioned's, however the last 2-3X I took my son they didn't have any of the old fashioned w/pink frosting and they only had 6 old fashioned chocolate's, which I bought all of. Total let down when that's the sole reason we go there!!

First trip to Nebraska! The donuts was so fresh and soft. Theybhad apple filled donuts which are hard to come across. My breakfast sandwich was delicious. The simplicity of it but was soooo good.

Went here because the Krispe Cream line was long and it was a great decision. Donuts were fresh, large, tasty and very affordable. Jelly filled and cinnamon role donuts were amazing.

I'm telling you right now! The absolute best doughts and pastries in Omaha! Their picture inside says "With a doughnut in the left and right hand, anything is possible ". Their specialty is the HUGE apple fritter! Great selection, a tad pricey but they don't skimp on the size. Coffee is very good as well. Just a real steady stream of people all morning. Says alot. Right next to the same OLD doughnut shop, Krispy Kreme.

Service was okay I had to wait about a minute-and-a-half 2 minutes for service even though there was nobody in the store when I got there the apple fritter was good but the coffee was thicker than Mississippi mud and stronger than Mike Tyson's punch

Came here for the first time today and I am disappointed I have not been here before! Amazing food. So fresh and perfect! Staff was incredibly nice and welcoming. The bagels are fresh and soft. The homemade orange juice was the best and the donuts were fresh. This was the best I have ever had! I highly recommend this place!

I come here late at night for my guilty pleasure...Donuts! There is typically a big variety of donuts. A little pricy in my opinion..for a half a dozen it's about 10.00. Maybe prices went up overall but I been to Krispy cream maybe 4 months ago and I thought it was about 6.00 for half a dozen.

We make a point of driving across town to Winchell's due to the consistent quality and selection of their cake donuts. Being open 24 hours it seems like everything is always fresh. We mixed cake donuts, cruellers, and apple fritters on this trip.

I've never been to this place in the seven years that I've lived in Omaha. I'm a big fan. They're sour cream donuts and cream puffs are amazing. Also have great breakfast burritos. The staff are so nice. Love that there open 24/7

This used to be my go to place. Donuts were some of the best and the glazed burrito things filled with apple and raspberry, were on point. It's right next to Krispy Kreme but its a whole lot better. I wish they were down in Papillion.

Love the chocolate old fashioned with glaze and chocolate chips! It's my favorite and I get it whenever I can, if it's not sold out! I just arrived and I was sad since it looked like they were out, and I asked if they still made them. The cashier said they do and how it's definitely the best doughnut (good taste 🤗), and we chatted about how good it was. He went to the side and pulled one out like magic haha!! And he put it in a bag and gave it to me, no charge! He was super nice and it was great customer service 🥺. I'll definitely be stopping by more often!

I grew up on Winchells, so, this may be a little biased. However, not have had a Winchells donut for 10 years brought back many memories. Also, I forgot how good donuts can be - Krispy Cream donuts are more of a stick of sugar, not a donut, you might as well go buy a pixy stix...lol

When they are fresh Winchell's donuts are some of the best in Omaha. We love the pineapple fritter (which no one else serves), but they are usually sold out which is disappointing. If fresh, the eclair donut (chocolate long John sliced down the middle and then whipped creme added) is delicious. Lesser picked donuts are usually dry and not removed from the case in a timely manner so pay close attention as you make your selection. On our most recent visit our dozen, which included half regular donuts and half fancier donuts, came to over $16 so be prepared to pay more per dozen than other donut shops.

Grew up a Winchell's kid in southern California and ill always be one.... Always try and make a stop here when on this side of town... Usually go with cake doughnuts with white frosting and rainbow sprinkles... Tastes just the way they did back in the day.... Wish there were more here in Omaha...

Winchell's is the best donut shop in Omaha. Everything is fresh, there's a huge selection, they're very affordable, and the staff is friendly. Honestly they just make those bozos from Krispy Kreme on the corner look like amateurs. Winchell's for the win!

I've been going to this Winchell's for something like 25 years and it's always been solid. They've been doing their apple fritters really well this past year, crispier, so that alone shoots them to 5 stars as, when they get them right, they have the best apple fritters in town.
