This is about a month late but….. the customer service alone deserves 10 stars. I have gone to this bakery for every event in the past 3 years. Baby shower, 1st birthday 2nd birthday and all of our birthdays in between. The cake flavors are amazing. For my sons second birthday we ordered animal themed cupcakes. When I got it it just wasn’t what we pictured or planned on. When I called to let them know they immediately offered to remake AND delivery to the part same day. When they brought them they were absolutely perfect in every way. Customer service goes a long way and we will always go back now. Love this place

When I requested a quote for my birthday cake, I was relieved the Cake Gallery told me they’re comfortable making LGBTQ cakes. They also recommended I pair their Irish cream filling with chocolate cake because it’s a popular combo and I’m glad I went ahead with that! The staff were so kind and the one who retrieved my cake yesterday was so funny. Although my family didn’t know how they felt about my design choice, my flavor combo surprised them thoroughly and they said it tasted great! This is why the Cake Gallery is the Best of Omaha and I cannot thank them enough!

All in all, Cake Gallery met our expectations. The only complaint I have is a lack of communication closer to the wedding date. Thank you Naomi and Cake Gallery crew!

They were awesome to work with and the cake I got for my parents 50th wedding anniversary was awesome. I had them do a scaled down version of the original wedding cake and it was perfect even down to the apricot filling (I don’t normally like apricot, but it was so delicious). My parents loved it and got so many compliments. Thanks you so much!!!

Caitlyn(sp) nailed my daughter's 16th bday cake!! She wanted water and forest theme, I sent a picture of an idea and the results were absolutely fabulous, and tatses so delicious😋!! We ordered our wedding cake from Cake Gallery and we honestly wouldn't have had it any other way! Their Pink Champagne cake is ABSOLUTELY to die for! We were originally planning on getting a 4 tier but realized that not as many people RSVPed like we thought we were gonna have so they let us go down to a 3 tier. We got the Pink Champagne and the Red Velvet for our flavors and they were delicious! The cake looked beautiful and it was exactly as we wanted it! Everybody talked about how beautiful it looked and how tasty it was! I would Highly recommend this place for any occasion that you need a cake for!

We just stopped in to buy a ready made cake for my sons birthday party that is today. Completely our fault for not being prepared. The girl helping us at the counter noticed my son was upset about something and asked if there was something they could add to the cake for him. He wanted a fox on his birthday cake and I let her know that. She took the cake to the back and came out a few minutes later with the most adorable fox drawn on the cake. They were super busy with it being a Saturday morning and she still took the time to make my sons day better. I cannot say thank you enough for her kindness!!!

I visited yesterday afternoon (Friday 1/27/23) after a trusted friend referred me. My son birthday party is this weekend and I went in to grab a cake. A very nice young blonde girl with pretty braids very patiently helped me pick one and I took home a dozen cookies to try. She knew I wanted to try their almond cake, but since my 15 year old son probably wouldn’t appreciate it, we went with the “ho ho cake”. But she surprised me by tossing in an almond cookie in my box so I could taste their almond flavor (so kind). The cookies and the cake were delicious! Their almond cookies alone will bring me back. Pricing is very fair also. This is my new go-to bakery for cakes and treats.

Naomi at The Cake Gallery was absolutely incredible! Our families have been customers for years, and we received the same amazing service for our wedding cake. Naomi helped us to select the combinations we were most interested in (even having a second cake made for us to try the next day) and helped us decide on the size, as we were doing cupcakes separately for the guests. We were impressed by how diligent their note taking was, and every detail we had discussed, Naomi remembered and could confirm with me when I ordered. We used Cake gallery for our wedding cake and dessert table and could not have been more happy with the process. Naomi was a pleasure to work with, the final product was everything we could have imagined. After the wedding the guests had nothing but good things to say about all the dessert options. I thought Naomi did a great job helping us with counts/quantity as well since we came home with ~20 pieces of dessert for a wedding >250 people. We will absolutely use cake gallery again for any dessert needs.

Let me brag on the staff. They take pride in making your cake ideas come to life.. I walked in worried (a week away from party time) that I was too last minute dealing with another place for our cake order. I normally go here but I decided to switch it up and try other places (did not work). They asked all these questions and was very interested in everything they could do to make the cakes perfect. I wasn’t picky but boy are the cakes moist and just perfect. Not overly sweet either. Thank you to the staff for making my children’s birthday awesome. I’m sooooo glad I returned back I won’t be going anywhere else!

The wedding cake turned out wonderfully! Our family absolutely loves Cake Gallery. We have utilized them for all of our birthday parties, bridal showers, baby showers, ext. so it only made since to use them for our wedding cake as well. Like I said, both the groom's cake and the wedding cake turned out exactly how we wanted BUT the Cake Gallery was hard to communicate with in the beginning. Due to this, and the price my husband and I decided it was worth a 4/5 rating. Edited to add pictures.

Always amazing, beautiful cakes. Recently, they made me a smash cake the same day i called! A friend ordered from another place which didn't turn out the way she wanted it (or even close) and they were able to make exactly what she wanted quickly! Ahh, very good cupcakes & cakes. They have always been consistent. True there are no strange flavors or themes here, cupcake wise, but you can count on the flavors they have. Chocolate champagne are favored the lemon flavored good, though I did experience some lumpy batter in the lemon cupcakes, otherwise the overall experience was good. Service; good

If you ever need a cake or sweets this is the place to go. Always have cakes ready at the last minute for friends birthdays. You can order online which is awesome. They totally hooked up an Ugly Sweater cake for a holiday party this year as well.

I called The Cake Gallery and spoke with a woman named Theresa. I had the most positive experience; Theresa was patient, understanding, very knowledgeable, thorough and explained the differences of how the frosting would affect the color. Theresa was AMAZING!!! Theresa has a very positive and calming personality and I feel blessed to have spoken with her on the phone. Also, when I asked to speak with her supervisor, Naomi, to pay her a compliment Naomi was a pleasure to speak with. I have never posted a Google review but after my experience today I felt the need to give them the recognition they deserve. Kudos to Theresa, Naomi and The Cake Gallery for having such wonderful people working there.

We got our wedding cake from the Cake Gallery and it was fabulous! We had a smaller three-tier cake (vanilla with vanilla buttercream) and also sheet cakes that were chocolate with chocolate mousse filling and vanilla with vanilla mousse filling. It was not dry at all and was simply delicious. We also had cream cheese mints as a fun throwback and they were so good! I only wish we had ordered more because they were popular with our guests and disappeared quickly. The cake itself was beautiful and exactly what I’d envisioned. The sheet cakes were also very pretty, with a rose piped onto each piece. I just love cake and it was important that our wedding cake be perfect, and it was! Naomi did an outstanding job.

Holy Moly! The HoHo Torte exceeded our expectations. Not to sweet or heavy. Light, fluffy cake, amazing whipped cream like frosting between layers and a light coating of gorgeous decorative frosting on the outside. Kids and adults all loved it. Online ordering was seamless. I’ll be ordering here again.

If I was rating Cake Gallery solely on taste, it would be a 5/5! Our wedding cake tasted delicious and we received several compliments from our guests. However, I was honestly embarrassed by the way the cake looked… the fondant was patchy and the stencil work was not smooth or continuous. The cake itself looked like it had been decorated by a novice baker. I would recommend Cake Gallery for the taste, but suggest a simple, buttercream design rather than any type of fondant work.

Our cake was so, so, so delicious. We were able to get several different flavors which I loved! We did have them put statues of our dogs on the came but upon arrival it looked like one of them had tipped over which made it look a little sloppy but my coordinator was able to fix it. I had some left overs the next day and it tasted just as fresh as it did the day of. Love it!

I love The Cake Gallery! The cake is so moist and so delicious. The frosting doesn't give you that waxy feeling at the top of your mouth because they use quality ingredients. Just today one of the ladies helped me design a cake for my child's birthday. They are really helpful. The cake decorators are very talented. We love their work. I have been going there now for over 20 years.

I've ordered somewhere between 6-12 cakes over the years and have never been disappointed. The ready-to-go cakes on the website are always ready on time and the flavor and size selection is great. I've personalized every cake and never had any issues. The staff opens the box when you checkout to make sure everything is right. They also don't judge if you have rude or obscene messages added to your cake!

Really good customer service too, I've seen them interact with others who weren't so satisfied and it was always customer first oriented. I had to postpone my wedding due to COVID and Naomi worked with me through the whole process. She was more than willing to adjust for changes in guest count and made it work for my new date without any problems. My guests absolutely loved her cake and it was beautiful! 5 STARS FOR THESE LOVELIES. My work allows us on our birthdays to select a cake or pie to have at work with our office. This year I selected the cake gallery, I did strawberry cake, champagne filling with cream cheese frosting and OH MY GOSH. When I tell you I am still eating the moistest, most flavorful cake 4 days later.. I am not lying. I found my forever when it comes to ordering cakes!

My family has ordered cakes from The Cake Gallery for years, so my husband and I knew we wanted to talk to them while planning our wedding. We met with Naomi for our consultation and tasting and were immediately impressed. Naomi was patient with our indecisiveness and provided many images for inspiration. When we finally found some inspiration pictures, she put together a plan for us to get a beautiful design in the flavors that we wanted while also taking our budget into account. On the day of the wedding, The Cake Gallery did not disappoint. The delivery drivers arrived promptly and quickly arranged the cakes that we had ordered. They were so fast that we did not notice them even though our ceremony was at the same location! At the reception, our cake was exactly the design that we had wanted and tasted absolutely delicious. Even the leftover cake tasted good the next morning. We could not be more pleased with our wedding cake from The Cake Gallery!

We ordered a double chocolate cream cheese cake for our son's 6th birthday party. It was delicious. Thank you! We also got peanut butter brownies. They were very good. Cupcakes are ok. Nothing special though. What I really like from their store is zebra bars. I would recommend them to everyone. The ladies who take orders are not very friendly though, in my opinion. I felt like they are tired of talking to/working with customers. I had a feeling they have no enthusiasm to answer any of the questions customers may have about ordering/choosing the right cake. I also emailed Mr. Otto with a few questions, but never got any reply.

My husband and I had our wedding cake from Cake Gallery and it was absolutely perfect. It is pretty hard to please two chefs, but Cake Gallery was up to the task. I would highly recommend their marble cake with Bavarian cream filling. The butter cream from looked incredible and the whole cake was gorgeous. Thank you Cake Gallery!

Ordered 30 cupcakes over the phone for a baby shower and just requested 12 of them be piped to look like woodland creatures. We were very pleased with the results. Got my son birthday cake 2/22/20 it was beautifully well done!! Except there was extremely TOO much butter whip (frosting) than there was cake. I seen other review on this and I believe no matter what it way over the top with frosting! Where the cake? Sadly enough I spend $100 on the cake and half the guests couldn't even eat it and got wasted!

The service was top notch. My husband and i didnt know for sure what we wanted. We met for a tasting. They made it so easy for us to get started. After the tasting we chose our flavors. My husband then took a design idea in a few weeks before the wedding. The Cake Gallery delivered exactly what he was envisioning. They delivered the cakes to the venue the day of. The Cake Gallery definitely delivered above all expectations! Grace won works there the best. I recommend asking for her for all your needs. She'll get you started and pointed in the right direction!

we've gotten cakes here twice on special occasions and both times were very and my boys said it was the best cake they've ever had in their entire life. The strawberry and creamcheese layer cake out of the case is our favorite. There is always about 10 to 12 customers in the store every time we go. Yesterday we got a cake for her granddaughter's first birthday and they gave us a free smash cake and wrote her name on both cakes for free.

The Cake Gallery did our wedding cake and it was a custom job (naked sides, berries on top); it was done amazingly well. Everybody loved the cake so much so that there was none left after our wedding. We had to buy more cake for our first anniversary; Naomi remembered us from the full year before and we received amazing customer service in the most compassionate way possible. I ordered a cake online that they already had in stock on their shelf. All they had to do was put Happy Birthday and my son's first name on it. I went to pick it up, but it wasn't ready yet. I gave them about 50 minutes from when I ordered it. I understand they get busy, but I just didn't want to wait inside with a bunch of people due to Covid-19. There were at least 6 or 7 others waiting.

Naomi was awesome! However, buying my wedding cake didn’t start that way. I made the mistake of trying to save a few dollars by going to a home baker. At first, the baker seemed nice, but after several frustrating attempts of trying to get her to call me back, I gave up. Really, who treats people and runs their business like that? After that terrible experience, I’m so glad I called “The Cake Gallery.” I can’t imagine a better experience. Naomi was personable, passionate, and made ordering my wedding cake a breeze. My fiance wasn't able to attend the cake testing with me, so she sent me home with 4 samples for him to try, it was so thoughtful. When I requested fresh flowers on my cake and took the flowers to Naomi, so arranged them beautifully and my cake was not only gorgeous but tasted phenomenal!!! If I could give a 10-star review I would.

Naomi and everyone at The Cake Gallery did an amazing job on our wedding cake. We had to postpone our wedding due to Coronavirus and our new date ended up being on the 4th of July. Naomi let me switch dates with no hesitation and no charge and even delivered my cake to the venue on a national holiday when they are normally closed that day. She never even mentioned that they would be closed on the 4th when I told her we had to change dates. She just told me that we all have to band together in this time. This was such a relief and her kindness meant so much to me during a very stressful moment in my life, trying to re-plan a wedding. I wish all of my vendors could've been this easy to work with. Our cake turned out so beautiful and tasted delicious! I got so many compliments. Verrrry long story short, was quoted different prices, 1 of the 5 cakes ordered wasn't even decorated correctly (had sent a pic of what was to be on the cake, called to verify it was received, and then was told their computer sometimes randomly deletes emails), cakes not done on time, wrong flavor of cake used. What a mess! For the amount of money I spent, I expected alot better. Believe me, everyone I know will hear about this and I have no intention of ever using this bakery again.

My family is from Raymond, MS and traveled to Omaha for the CWS this past weekend. It was also my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary and my grandmothers birthday. We wanted to get a cake for both occasions but figured it would be a bad idea to travel over 13 hours in the middle of June with 2 cakes. So my sister found The Cake Gallery online and called and ordered the 2 cakes. Not only was ordering and pick up of the cakes super simple but the cakes were SPECTACULAR. We ordered a white cake with white icing for the 50th anniversary cake as well as a German chocolate cake for my grandmothers birthday. They decorated both cakes phenomenally. The white cake was ordained with this beautiful 50th gold cake topper as well as having gold icing and and edible gold leaf sprinkled on top. The German chocolate cake was decorated more simply but just as elegant. Also, I was traveling in a day later than my family so they had the shop wrap the boxes of the cake to keep it moist for when we celebrated. Not only was the cake beautiful but THEY BOTH WERE ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Both cakes were super moist and the German chocolate cake was to die for. I am going to recommend this place to all of my friends who are going to Omaha in the future. Thank you Cake Gallery for making my grandparents day and my grandmothers birthday so special!
