Many friends love this place and we end up going here often. They have a wide selection of Italian cookies, baked goods, and pastries with more unique flavors.
The ladies behind the counter are helpful and friendly, quick to help out and explain!
Overall a great experience.
For me, being a pastry fan and having visited many pastry shops in the city(which might not be exactly comparable to here) I can't say I'm a fan.
We went this past Friday. My friend had the creme brulee - which she really liked. But the sugar on top was barely caramelized.
And I had the Panna cotta - which was so ungodly thick, it felt like I was eating cream cheese.. Which from my experience, is not the consistency Panna cotta usually is.

One of the best canoli have ever had!!! Try their pistachio, or peanut butter, love them! The filling is a mousse texture very light and cream and too sweet 😋, crust dipped in chocolate was crispy. …

Out of towner review:
Great selection of Italian pastries, just some hits and some misses from today’s visit: Here’s what we ordered:
- Cannolis (all chocolate covered shells)
Original: delicious, not too sweet which is what you want with the ricotta
Pistachio: nice pistachio flavor but with an unexpected after taste that made us question of real or artificial
Chocolate: very delicious but sweet, especially with the chocolate chips on the end. Still, our favorite of the three we tried.
- Lemon Glazed cookie: a little disappointing, seemed to be dry, maybe not a popular item.
- Rum cake: quite tasty but very sweet as well, this was moist which it should be.
We also ordered a cappuccino and americano. Nice touch to our visit. Overall, a nice time at La Bella Ferrara, though we’ll probably try a new selection of treats next time. Enjoy!

A little something fir the sweet tooth! Tiramisu Cannoli and a small Whale Tale! Very good!

The most amazing dessert I’ve had! Quaint little bakery in Little Italy. Such a comfort to have found this amazing place. Went there recently with my mom and sisters and we loved it so much -especially the cream filled lobsters. ♥️ 🗽 🍁 …

If you want REAL Italian pastries and Canoli this is the spot. In addition the woman running this place is the most genuinely good human being ever. Gotta add this place on your list of must see spots in Little Italy and China town area.

The best pastries I've ever eaten (I've eaten a lot). Tiramisu, lobster tail, and something else I forgot the name. Stood in line for 20 minutes and it's worth it. Masters of their craft
Paul Risi
Awesome products! Everything I bought was a good as anything my Italian family has ever tasted. Friendly, helpful staff. Great selection and great coffee.

Hankering for an ol' school bish'caught (I'm trying to spell it the way my family still says it, lol)? This is the place! The lemon cookies make me cry when I look into the bag and see I ate them all even when I promised myself I'd only have one. The sesame cookies and biscotti are THE FREAKING best I've ever had outside my grandmothers kitchen. They even make stroffoli for the holidays. I know Mulberry Street is flooded with places to buy Italian treats, but as a local it's the only place I go. It's also what I bring whenever I go to someones house. 2 lbs of mixed biscotti is my usual! Not only do they make great cookies and pastries, but their Italian ice shouldn't be overlooked either. Not many places carry REAL Italian ice. This isn't a chain, this is the real deal. Don't get it twisted. I've been going there my whole life (I'm 47 now) and I can remember how excited I was when I was tall enough to finally put my own money on the counter. Their chocolate ice is the very first purchase I made with my own allowance money when I was in grade school. True story! Don't walk, RUN to La Bella Ferrara and find out what I'm talking about for yourself.

Kinda ok, however they do not offer espresso in porcelain cups, only paper cups. Big canolli is 5$, which is kinda very expensive - but, say, ok for NYC. You can sit outside on a bench and drink your coffee. Which is nice )

My son and I randomly stopped by this bakery on a stroll through Little Italy last night and picked up some mini classic cannoli, and they were absolutely delicious. The best I've ever had. The customer service was great. The woman who helped us let us try any of the flavors of gelato we wanted, so we tried strawberry, cherry, and Oreo and they were all fantastic. The fruit flavors tasted authentic and not artificial or like "medicine" at all. We're going back tonight, for sure. You can't get Italian food this good where we come from! Highly recommend.

Very delicious canoli! So many variety and made fresh right downstairs. Would definitely visit again for more canoli 😋 …
Evan C. E.
We ordered a 10" 2 layer canoli cake for my son's 18th birthday party. It was all you can ask for. Everyone loved the cake as it was delicious.
Angelina Santiago
What bad can you say about an Italian bakery?! Me...nothing.
The variety not just in cannolis was impressive, but in cakes, cookies, etc. No super fancy pastry. Looks like a grandma made it all and I love it like that. We had a full size tiramisu cannoli, a mini Chocolate Mousse cannoli, a lobster tail and of course the classic black and white cookie(Everything was $12.25-cash tip). Everything we ate was amazing! Fresh, flavored beautifully and flaky perfection. I'm not a fan of cannolis usually, but I loved theirs! My fav was the chocolate moose one. We inhaled the tiramisu one, so no picture.🤷🏻♀️🐽
Staff was very prompt and helpful. They do take cards, but has a $10.00 minimum. Which, was easy to meet. Prices were fair for the amount of work put into each piece of heaven. They also serve gelato and shaved ice. ATM available. Place is tiny, so no place to sit. Walk and eat, which was fine by us.
Paul Garcia
I never thought I liked cannolis until I had them from La Bella Ferrara!! I used to think I hated cannolis but I was in the area and I thought it would be worth a shot to try them out and WOW!!! I was blown away!! Their regular cannolis are incredible but their specialty ones are fantastic as well! I promise you will never find a more authentic or better cannoli anywhere!!
Ron Matta
Had two cannolis and a trio of miniature samplers. Tiramisu, Napoleon, and eclair. Cannolis were very good. The rest were good, but I would not order a full-sized portion. Cappuccino was the best I have ever had. I didn't think the pastries were worth the expense, but the building, atmosphere, and service make it a must visit in my opinion.
Evelyn Bass
My all time favorite bakery in NYC! It's hard to choose a favorite pastry but if I had to....it would be their Anisette Biscotti. There isn't a time I don't visit NYC and miss out on my Biscotti, they are delicious anytime of the day but breakfast is my favorite :)

Love the cannolis and pastries 🍰 ❤️. 🇮🇹🇺🇲 🏙🌇🌆🌃🗽 Had amazing customer service. This was 5 years ago. …
Sam R
Great selection of pastries and everything I've had from here has been delicious! We love the cannolis and the rainbow cookies. The staff is always super friendly and helpful as well! My go to bakery in little Italy for sure!
Victor Gonzalez
Cannolis were great, lobster tail was awesome, cookies were incredible. Very cute little stop with outdoor seating and a huge selection. Will always recommend! Plus, it's right by a really great italian restaurant that is right across the street.
Edit: visited again about a year later and the same staff is still as nice as ever, providing great service and smiling faces. I'll never not reccomend this place!
alberto sanchez
Great variety of sweets. Really good. Tried the caloni with chocolate and although I really liked it , it was a bit heavy. Probably better share it with somebody.
Kristina Clement
We stopped in while we were walking through Little Italy. My kids loved looking at all the desserts in the cases. The staff were so nice and patient with all the kids' questions about the different flavors of cannolis. We tried a few cannolis, the cherry cheesecake, and a few cookies. Everyone in our party gave it a thumbs up!
Kendra Zumhingst
Truly an amazing bakery that offered an amazing selection! We will definitely be back!!! Both were delicious!!
ranee s
The best cannoli I have ever had! Mint chocolate chip cannoli was so delicious. I will dream about it. The staff was so kind and patient while we decided. I highly recommend!
Gabe G
Everytime I come back to Little Italy, this place is a must. They have traditional Napoletan Baba, which I love and are rather hard to find.
Even when there are no tables to sit down, that won't stop me from giving this place a 5 star rating, for the quality of their pastries.
Carol Weber
Whatever you do, go early to get these Italian pastries fresh. Otherwise, they tend to be a little stale sitting around losing texture & flavor. Best thing I had was the blueberry cheesecake. The blueberry sauce on top was a rubbery glaze but the cheesecake was creamy-decadent. The cannoli shell lacked essential crispness. The lobster tail's laminated pastry layers seemed cardboardy rather than light & flakey. They're worth visiting though. They're one of the original mom 'n pop places for authentic down-home cannoli.
Travis Rodgers
My first ever cannoli came from here, 20 yrs ago. Still coming back.
Eric Hepler
The cookies here are fantastic and I love the cannolis! They also shipped a box of cookies for us. Great service!
Vinny Nanwani
Amazing cannoli’s and super nice and funny Hispanic girl working tonight 10/10/22. Nice small mom and pop bakery
Gabe Zamudio
We always stop by and get an assortment of cookies and they're always fresh and delicious. This time we splurged and got a couple of pistachio canolis and a slice of blueberry cheesecake. Everything was delicious and they even boxed it all up for easy transport. Great customer service.
Dwight Crow
Mary and staff are so sweet and wonderful. Great coffee and the cannoli is AMAAAAAAAAAAZING. Miss you all!!!!
ศุภาวัฒ เจนอักษร
One of the best Canoli I've ever eat, so tasty and not too sweet as well as the cheese cake.
Peter Frykvall
Great dessert and really helpful staff that can explain all the different pastries. You don't go here to stay for long as it pretty much is a takeaway place, even if they have a small table in the shop.
Matthew Hang
Okay, you're in Little Italy and you want the best baked goods in the neighborhood/Manhattan, this is the place. There are reasons why this place will be packed in the afternoon.
It doesn't have the Disneyland glitz and glamor of other bakeries, but where it outshines them all is in the quality of their offerings. Who cares about decor if the pastries are bland and stale. If you don't believe me, do a taste test and you will see why locals and returning neighborhood expats flock back for their La Bella Ferrara fix.
Go in early and try to avoid the lines, because their are tons of delicious offerings and taking your time will upset the line and if you rush, you just might miss out on something delicious.
Elizabeth Harding
The only bakery we ever go to when visiting Little Italy NYC. They are the best!
C Park
Great variety of cannolis! They also have mini size of cannolis. And cashier lady was sooooo nice and kind :)
Mr. Jones
While the pignoli cookies were excellent I will admit that the $40/lb price was outrageous. Touristy spot no doubt. You are better off price-wise in Brooklyn
Jessica H.
They have so many different kinds of delicious pastries! My favorites are the different flavors of cannolis, I have never seen so many varieties! Also, the customer service was wonderful, which is a huge plus for me. I will definitely go back again.
Sarah Roberts
Such a yummy bakery in Little Italy! The gelato was good but my husband insists that their eclairs are heaven sent.
Julie-Anne B.
Absolutely phenomenal place. In the 7 short days we were here we went 3 times. The best cannolis and gelato we have ever had. If you are anywhere near them it is a MUST visit place. I am sad we will not have any access to them once we go home. We love it so much we are flying cannolis home with us in our carry-on.
Christy
The Best Tiramisu cake . It made my Birthday Such A Happy One!
Ryan Bac
THE BEST PLACE in NYC let alone Little Italy! The woman who worked on July 21, 2021 at the counter (who is probably the owner) was, like we say in The South, a sweetheart. The store is full of so many sweets and treats that it's so difficult to choose what you want, so she was very patient (something I truly value). Take a bite of anything made here, and you'll taste that it was made with true love. To the store owner, please keep that genuine hospitality going!
I can't wait to come back here soon!
Side Note: I enjoyed the pictures and small figurine of St. Anthony at the register. Almost made me feel at home.
Amanda
Holy moly get the cannoli!! This was the best one I've ever had! I crave them!
John Prescott
Walked in and asked for the best thing on the menu and one of the workers handed me this: Carmel croughnut.. absolutely incredible. One of the many hidden gems of Manhattan.
Gary Seybold
Great selection of different types of baked desserts at reasonable prices. Always a line in nice weather but worth the wait. Staff is very patient and helpful in explaining the various desserts. You have to try it!
Abigail Underhill
I have had a few cannolies before and all of them were just okay, but these cannolies were amazing the lobster tails were also so good I got it all over my face and then we went and bought a 100% totally authentic Prada bag that is great quality and is totally real it was great
T K
Awesome place to get some traditional Italian sweets. Too sweet for me, but nevertheless very tasty!
Paul
Best cannoli I’ve ever had! Couldn’t even find such good ones in Italy. The lady working there was also so nice that it was a pleasure coming back. Absolutely recommended!
Yesenia Zamudio
Their regular flavored cannoli was amazing. It was crispy and the filling was yummy and not too sweet. Just the right flavor. I also tried (i forgot what it’s called) a long pastry that was made with croissant dough and filled with vanilla creme inside and sealed each end with almonds. It was so good too. Definitely will be one of my stops if i visit NY in the future.
Linda Kotowski
We had a rainbow cookie taste test and La Bella Ferrara won hands down!
Arthur Rufus
Bakery near entrance to Little Italy. Service was a little slow, but we went in at a weird time when it's normally quiet. The cannolis were delicious. I also had some rugelach and a rum baba. The rum baba was a not as flavorful as I'd hoped but still good. It's no Mike's Pastry in Boston, but everything was enjoyable. Expect to pay a little more than warranted due to it's location in Little Italy.
Sara Blanco
Their Canoli should have a monument. Super rico!
Brie
Amazing staff, they were so sweet and helpful. The pastries were amazing! I really recommend the chocolate croissant or the blueberry cheesecake.
MKS
I’ve only had the cannolis here but let me tell you that the chocolate chip dipped cannoli blew my mind. It is a must try. 🥇 …
Rich Griswold
This is one of our favorite stops when we travel to NY. Great cookies and desserts. Liz is always there welcoming and smiling. She does a fantastic job and is always helpful. She is definitely an asset for the bakery, and probably needs a raise and recognition. 😊 …
Violeta S
I called in the morning and my cake was done less the 8 hours so fresh and delicious 🤤 …
Maria Arias
Small place no seating inside.they have different kind of deserts.the cannoli filling was to sweet they was ok I had better.
Wyatt Gorman
Absolutely the best italian cookies and pastries in the city. Don't be fooled by the other bella down the block, this is the real deal. The napoleon's, the cannolis, the rainbow cake, and all the cookies are our favorites. These are always a hit at family gatherings and things too, people specifically request them. They're worth coming in from queens for!
Hardikkumar Patel
The owners were phenomenal to us. We bought two canoli's and one of them was not what we expected. She was more than happy switching it and mentioned, she wanted us to be happy with her food. That meant the world to us. She gets it. We will visit again when we come back up to New York from Charlotte, NC.
Nirida Villegas
This bakery has the best canolis in the whole world. They are amazing!! It's worth it to travel to NYC just to have them hehehe. Very very recommend!!
Skip Kaczynski
This place need no review.... If you don't know about it already, you have never had true Italian pastries.

Best Authentic Italian Cannoli's
Cameron Gentry
Bumped into this place and it was a blessing!!!
Gee-Wey Yue
Love this place. I bought $75 worth of pastries from here to gift to relatives overseas. Lots of variety, friendly staff! Bring cash if you're snacking - there is a credit card minimum. At the moment, lobster tail is only offered starting Friday (until it runs out). I always bring people by and they love it!
Erica Clardy
Oh my goodness! Service was so very friendly and the Lobster tail! I will come back to NYC just to get another one! Highly recommend to anyone visiting Little Italy in NYC.
Chris
We decided to walk to Little Italy specifically to try this place, and I'm glad that we did, as this was the first time that I have ever eaten Cannolis. We ordered the moose and the red velvet, which both were great, and they offer many more flavors as well. Additionally, they offer varieties of other desserts including, such as cookies, ice cream, etc. The service was good as well, as the lady behind the counter was friendly and willing to answer our questions.
Brent Sweitzer
Stopped in little Italy and found this hidden gem of a bakery. Everything looked so great we ended up spending $100 while we were there. It was worth every penny!!! The pastries were phenomenal and all the people working there were super friendly. Thanks again for the wonderful food and service!!
Omi T
Super tasty Italian treats! They have the most kind and friendly staff here always helpful as you navigate the plethora of Italian baked goods. They even put all the treats in a nice box with string for that classic packaging. If you ever need to bring dessert or something to an event this is the place to go to!
Becky Joharie
Best lobster tail I've had in my life! If you're new to La Bella Ferrara or want to try something new and haven't tasted their lobster tail, try it. You will not regret it!
Jay Colan
By far the best pastry, nicest staff and best prices in Little Italy. No attitude, easy to shop. Small unassuming store. Better tasting and less expensive pastry than the larger, more well-known neighborhood places. Love the biscotti.
Jenson
Had my first cannoli ever today!
AMAZING!!
Mind blown!
So many choices!
Seriously, changed my life…
Joseph Fusaro Jr
Any stop in little Italy has to include here. Always a great selection of pastries, cakes and anything that will satisfy that craving. Very personable people working there very friendly and always smiling.
Scot
I live in Raleigh, NC and visit NYC occasionally. My first visit here was several years ago, and since then I always make sure I stop here at least once (more if I can) every time I go to NYC. Most places these days will sell you whatever product they have just to move product and take your money. Not this place. The first thing I ordered on my first visit (don't recall what it was) the lady said "You don't want that. It's old. Have this instead!" - so I took what she suggested, and it was DELICIOUS, just like every single other thing I've gotten from here. Everything is always fresh, delicious, and out of this world! And all the employees I've encountered here have always been the nicest people! If you're in NYC you need to visit La Bella Ferrara!!
Melanie Rosen
This has been one of my favorite pastry places since I saw Moonstruck. The Canolis are great and you can seat down and enjoy your dessert there.
Lauren M
Paled in comparison to the quality of Italian pastry found in Boston's north end, but it's fair to say my standards are higher than normal and I should have expected this from such a touristy environment. Cannoli filling was much sweeter than I prefer and masked the ricotta taste. The lobster tail I ordered (only available on weekends) I kept with me throughout a day of shopping and ate after getting home and it was delicious and held up beautifully.
Ashley Hang
My favorite bakery. Without a doubt. The lattes are even good. Even though it's not what you came for, you'll want something for your biscotti. Because these are the best I've ever had. Ditto on the rainbow cookies. All the beautiful flavors are distinct and present. And the cakes, and the cheesecake, AND THE CANOLLI!!! Ahem. Sorry. Lost control there for a second. But, yeah, if you want some baked goods, this is the place to go.
Salim Amiri
Quick service, good food, no place to sit indoor
dan sui
Loved it. Going back for more.
Peter Holt
excellent pastries, in fact probably the best I have ever had
Matt
Oh. My. God. The Italian bakery. Is to die for. So damn tasty. Just like grandma used to make. Oh Lord. I need to go back. Right in the heart of little Italy Manhattan. Go. Just. Go. And go back. Mmm. Yes.
Steve Cromer
Former New Yorker living in Arizona now, this place is my first stop whenever I come back to visit. They've got every kind of cannoli you can think of, each one better than the last. Avoid the other flashy (overpriced) bakeries in the area, just go straight here.
Tess Dilling
Bought $50 worth of desserts, a little bit of everything. It was not anything special but it was good. I was never greeted or asked if I needed any help from the staff though. We finally had to ask for someone to help us and we were the only customers at the time. They were helpful after the fact but still not very friendly, it just seemed like I had disturbed their afternoon. Customer service is everything.
Alexis Kelleher
This is the best Italian bakery in nyc! I brought some pastries home for my grandparents, and they absolutely LOVED them and said they are the best pastries they ever had!!!! 10/10 recommend!
Noreen Pruden
I am originally from Bensonhurst Brooklyn grew up in an Italian family and bakeries everywhere. I love upstate now and was down visiting my cousin! Your cannolis and 7 layer(rainbow cookies) were amazing ! I can’t wait to come back again !
Noreen Cartusciello Pruden
Brittany Welborn
Amazing cannolis! We didn’t eat them till the train ride back and the cannolis were amazing. Me and my sister kept saying we should have ordered a lot more instead of just one each to try. I am so sad we did not get more. If we are ever in NYC again, we will definitely stop here.
Tara H.
Long over due review. I love this gem. The ladies are lovely and very professional. The treats were fresh and delicious. I can't wait to visit with my kids again when I move back to my hometown
D Q
I have been going here since 1992. I love that it never changes. When you have excellence, there is no reason to change. The cookies are the best. When I was living out of state, I would have friends send them via mail. You won't find better. Don't miss it on your next visit to Little Italy!
LAUKESTER
Wow the sfogliatella are amazing! (Like lobster roll but w ricotta cheese and lemon infused!!!) The Cannoli's are overprice since the filling
Is too sweet and disappointing! (Didn't taste like ricotta cheese) At least the shell was crunchy.
Angi Swearingen
Amazing pastries!!! Peanut butter cannoli was my favorite cannoli. ❤️ My mouth waters just thinking about it! Also, little strawberry tarts were fabulous. Strawberry cheesecake was good, but get the others. When I return to NYC, I'll have to go out of my way to come back here. 😊 …
Elizabeth Rhea Hayes
This place has the best cannoli's in Manhattan! The lady who helped me was very sweet, and the food was delicious. If you haven't tried one, they're famous for their lobster tails!
Joseph Nance
Amazing Pastries! A must if you are in little Italy
Mary Ann Planey
OMG the cannoli! The red velvet and the chocolate peanut butter are one of the best things I’ve had in my life. I wish you shipped to Ohio. We saw a review about the cannoli and took a long walk while in NYC to make sure we got them. They did not disappoint.
Eduardo Betancourt
A must do while visiting little Italy. Awesome Italian pastries. Good coffee. Small space, a bit uncomfortable to enjoy. Some tables will add the 5th star. Good prices.
Brock Cox
Best cannolis I have ever had (hope my wife’s family is not reading this!!)! Enjoyed the traditional and chocolate.... the shells and fillings are perfectly delectable!
Liz Milizio
This is one of the best bakeries in Little Italy, much better then the one with a similar name. Really friendly service every time I visit, but the desserts are the best part.
Suzie Oh
La Bella Ferrara is a lovely little authentic bakery in Little Italy. They have simply amazing Cannoli! It was also my first time trying Cannoli so it was an extra special experience. Definitely a pleasant treat! They have a lot of flavors to choose from, but they all looked so appetizing so we ended up getting one of each! So worth it. Amazing way to get some sugar overload.
Ana Jurecic
I highly recommend you try their Cannoli! Also, the staff is incredibly friendly.
Leeta Gato
I can’t go to Little Italy without stopping to get my rainbow cookies and fig cookies for my sweetheart. People and baked goods here are the best. They have a full assortment of cookies, pastries, tortes, and bread. You can call ahead and place orders.
Angelina Mormino
Awesome almond cookies!!
You go in there and you can gain 10 lbs just smelling to wonderful pastries. This place is a must stop for me and I always have to take a bunch home.
jessica england
The girls were so nice and helpful. Their recommendations were unbelievable! Must try the Strawberry Short Cake and the Lobster Roll! Cannot wait to go back!
Lightning Round
This is my favorite bakery. The staff are nice. The pastries are delicious. Even the Italian cookies are amazing and not dry. I've not eaten a bland thing here.
Stanley Sultanpuss
This was a wonderful tasting place could have been a little cleaner I guess cuz it is kind of old looking. But man their stuff was out of this world my buddy got a sampler box of all the goodies and I think it all got eaten before the end of the night and he was planning on it being around for a while just stuff is delicious people are real nice in there to prices might be a little bit more than what you want would expect to pay but the food was great or should I say desserts were great.
John L
La Belle Ferrera is an Italian bakery that is located on Mulberry Street in Little Italy, NYC.
La Belle Ferrera is an old neighborhood type of bakery, and they happen to be my favorite bakery in NYC.
The Rainbow Cookies are so moist and delicious with flavor that i really really enjoy them everytime i get them.
The 2nd item that is out of this world is their Lobster Roll, which is a Wiped Cream filled Cream Puff. The pastry shell is always crisp but soft to the bite, and the whipped cream is so fresh it is like eating whip cream you just made.
The staff is wonderful with their service, and they help advise you as to what amount of pastry you would need or want. They always have nice pleasant things for conversations while they are tending to your needs, and they always have a smile for me.
They are professionals who keep in mind what the NYC Health Codes are with regards to cleanliness. They are always with glovee on when they are handling your pastries. They shop is neat, clean, tidy and orderly all the time.
Looking for some Italian pastries for your sweet tooth? Go to La Belle Ferrera in Little Italy, NYC, you'll have a good time.
Enjoy.
Utku Aktas
They have great pastries.
Jon G.
So good, we tried the tiramisu, chocolate and traditional cheesecakes. Wait wasn't long, coffee was also available. Grabbed a single shot espresso... everything was top notch. Would highly recommend this place.
Carrie Smith
Looking for some great cannoli's but don't want to wait in the line or pay the price at the iconic Ferrara's? Walk just around the corner and you will find this gem! They have a large variety of tasty and beautifully decorated desserts and there was no line even when there was a line outside the door of Ferrara! Their cannoli's were delicious and the people were extremely helpful and friendly, much more so than most places I have visited in NYC! I was getting ready to leave on a bus a few minutes later and they made a great last impression!
Olivia Withers
An amazingly wide variety of different pastries. A true Italian Bakery right in the heart of Little Italy. Definitely worth the money! I can't wait to go again
Kristin Furio
I'm a hard grader. It wasn't 5-star quality but very, very good. The food tasted fresh and home made. Lobster Tail, chocolate dipped cannoli and home made tiramisu were all very good. The hazelnut cappuccino was just ok. Presentation was very nice. Service was friendly and anticipated our needs (brought extra silverware for sharing food). Decor was tacky but fun to look at. A great dessert spot after walking off lunch from another establishment.
Sonja Hayden
The best lobster tail pastry in NYC. I have to come here every single time I'm in New York no matter the inconvenience. Incredible!
Jennifer Koehler
Are ya effin kiddin me?!?! If you have never tried their Sfogliatelle, it is like nothing you’ve ever eaten. Totally amazing!!! Stop here for sweet treats! The smell of the biscotti will draw you in. The staff is helpful and delightful. Will return. OMG!!!! Love.
Vanessa Waters
Joey and La Bella Ferrera were absolutely amazing in their customer service when my husband and I ordered our wedding cake from them. Our wedding was on 7/27/19. The price was beyond reasonable and they had no problem delivering the cake to La Nonna where we had our wedding celebration lunch. I emailed Joey a photo of what we wanted our cake to look like and it ALMOST looked like the photo. I took away one star only because we really wanted peonies on the cake since that was what we used for my bouquet and my husband's boutonnière but the flowers on our cake were definitely not peonies. Not even sure what they were lol. But either way, the cake still looked beautiful and tasted AMAZING. We went with a "semi naked" icing since my husband and I are not fans of icing and they did a great job with that. The cake was super moist and the cannoli filling was perfect. All of our guests were raving about the cake. Thank you Joey and staff for being so friendly, accommodating and making us a beautiful and delicious wedding cake!

This is one of the few cafe's in Little Italy with a nice quiet atmosphere, decent priced and delicious Cannoli and of course what is getting rare nowadays-coffee with free refills. My aunt brought me here when I was 14 years old and though that was ages ago, the only thing that changed was price which is inevitable.
Melissa C
The pastries are delicious and the workers are super helpful!
Jay Colan
La Bella Ferrara is my favorite Italian pastry shop in Little Italy. The display is low-key and unassuming. Not a showy place. I am partial to anisette biscotti, almond biscotti and regina cookies, and the occasional sfoglitatelli. They are tasty without being overly sweet. You can enjoy the flavor of the non-sugar ingredients. Staff is easy going. They differentiate it from the other place with a similar name: This store is named after the city in Italy. The other one is named after the founding family. Both opened in the 1920's.
Alejandra orlandovisitusa
Excellent. I took $50 bucks worth pastries to my family in Florida .
Best 👌 …

This place had some really fantastic pastry! I love traditional Italian bakeries and this was a great place to go for it. Quick, to the point, and high quality, the way I like it.

The place is small, it has no tables to seat an eat.they have difrent kind of cannolis, cokies and others sweat.i had a chocolate mousse cannoli, sorry dont remembered the name of the other dessert,i also had coffee and it was good. The services was fast and friendly.we when right when they open.
David Hudert
Without La Bella Ferrara, there would be no Little Italy! The best there is in Italian pastries! It's worth going out of your way for the Baba Rum and Cannoli. Everything else is heaven as well.
On warmer days, try and get a seat out front and enjoy an espresso and cannoli while people watching.
UPDATE! We are heartbroken that our favorite Italian bakery on the planet has closed for good. Little Italy has been disappearing more and more and the last bastion of Italian pleasure on Mulberry St. is gone. So sad.
James DeLury
This is very nice place to go after a big meal or for a little snack. They have an extensive dessert menu. Im a Brooklyn native and whenever i go to little italy with friends i make sure to stop by here. I recommend the black forest cake which is basically chocolate cake with rum/cherries/whipped cream - amazing. Also the pastries are outstanding, i usually get either the Cannoli or Pasticiotti. So you get the point - food = excellent, it also has a pretty good selection of coffee, cappuccino, tea, etc. As far as decor goes, there's many pictures of famous italian/italian-americans on the walls. The only thing I can really knock the place on is the tables are close together, so when it gets jammed packed it can be slightly uncomfortable, but nothing that would ruin the experience. The service is pretty good. The 2 women I've had the last couple times i went were both very friendly and pretty quick. If you live in NYC or even if you are just visiting - you gotta give this place a look.
Tim Ryan
Too many choices!
So much deliciousness!
Scott Gabrielle
My go-to place for genuine Italian cookies and pastries. It has become a bit commercialized over the years but the quality remains.
Christina Chan
Great pastries! The only draw back is the size and layout of the place, sometimes it's hard to get in and order, but still a great pit stop to pick up some goodies.
Robert Li
La Belle Ferrera is an Italian bakery that is located on Mulberry Street in Little Italy, NYC.
La Belle Ferrera is an old neighborhood type of bakery, and they happen to be my favorite bakery in NYC.
The Rainbow Cookies are so moist and delicious with flavor that i really really enjoy them everytime i get them.
Dennis O'Leary
I run a food tour in NYC and lived in Little Italy most of my life. this pastry shop is the only one that still bakes on premises- every other shop either buys frozen cannoli or buys from La Bella and sell it as their own. I live in Rome part-time and this place is as close to traditional than any other shop in NYC. I read some caparisons to a Boston shop- everyone is entitled to their opinion so in my opinion... if they’re so great in Boston then go drive to Boston for a cannoli and bring one from here with you for the drive 😂
Barred FromLife
Of all the places I get my pastry fix from, I have to say this is the best choice if you are craving Italian. Everything here is of excellent quality and oh so large. My favorite by far are the lobster tails and napolean.
Jennifer Russo
O now you're Talking about my neighborhood were I was born there and raised. La Bella Ferrars I still go to Mulberry St to get all my cakes for the holidays and even when St. Joseph's cake is out now I go to Mulberry st for my st Josephs there the best in little Italy I love the two Brothers God bless all the people that work there you can't get better Italian cakes anywere else believe me I go down from Brooklyn for my pastry just delicious you have to try it.
Divinaa Burder

Wendy
Delicious cookies (and much more) and coffee. Located in the middle of Little Italy in New York City. The staff were friendly and chatted. The neighborhood is also very nice.
Zecke 16
Sehr leckere Kuchen und Backwaren. Vom Cappuccino war ich etwas enttäuscht, trotzdem war dieser gut! Preislich völlig in Ordnung.
Antonio Adi
I tasted the cannoli: very good. But not like in Italy. The filling is made from cream and not ricotta and sugar. So it lacks this salty sugar side. The staff are helpful and friendly. I also tasted the sfogliatelle and it was also very good. I would definitely go back if I have time.
Pat O'Donald
It's in little Italy but run by Chinese - not a criticism, we love the diversity of New York, but in Little Italy if you walk into an Italian cafe with Italian products you expect to find staff of Italian origin, the same way we do It would be shocking to walk into a Chinese supermarket or restaurant in Chinatown and the employees were all Italian.
jose A Lopez
A very good place to buy food and coffee and different breads
Lucrecia García
The pumkin pie and the normal big canolo expectacular
Jean Yves BEUGIN
It's the surprise of a stay abroad: a very nice pastry shop with succulent and unique products at very reasonable prices.
If we add the atmosphere of the vendors allied to the Little Italy district, it's a moment that we remember. Mandatory if you are greedy, it's too good...
Charles Slim
Truly the best desserts you can get in the area. They have a very good variety of sweet masses, their coffee menu is also quite good and pleasant. The prices are accessible or a little high but it is really worth it.
רחלי ברזי
One of the tastiest things I've eaten
Lucy Gomez
We really like the desserts here, they are also very friendly, the unmatched cheesecakes, it is a small place, a wheelchair does not fit, suitable for the whole family, at the entrance they have delicious ice creams for sale and inside all kinds of bread-based desserts.
